Fantastic experience: We recently completed a 17-day to Cambodia and Thailand. Just a fantastic and fun trip with a unique variety of activities. Dianna provided exceptionally excellent service every step of the way in planning and implementing our trip. She was so prompt and thorough in her responses and thoughtful in meeting our needs and interests for the trip. The activities, guides and hotels were amazing. Everything went off without a hitch and we had such a wonderful time. This is the second trip we’ve planned through Dianna. We went to India in 2019 and had a similarly fabulous trip.

Fantastic experience: Well, travel beyond did it again. This is the fifth or sixth time we’ve used them in Africa and each time they have put together a trip where every detail is taking care of. I don’t want to have to navigate customs transfers where to stay where to eat around airport, etc. etc. when I am going on a Safari and travel beyond takes all those elements out of your hands and provides an experience that is absolutely seamless. And once you get to the camps, it only gets better. I’m very particular on what I want as far as a Safari goes ( i.e. super comfort but not over the top luxury. No dress to impress. Great food, great mattresses and great animal viewing.) travel beyond listens and delivers. We just got back from Botswana with our family, including two grandchildren and it could not have gone better. The places that they put us in were intimate and the staff was clearly familiar with children.(or not talking babies here 10 and 15.) and accommodated food, allergies. We will just continue using travel beyond anytime we go to Africa. I’m hoping they expand into Asia.. Hint hint.

Fantastic experience: No one is better than Travel Beyond when it comes to international travel. I have been on 2 trips to Africa (Kenya and Botswana) with Travel Beyond and they truly roll out the red carpet for their clients. Everything is handled top to bottom and the trips are absolutely amazing. Fantastic experience: Dianna planned the perfect 15 day honeymoon in Thailand for my husband and me. We had the perfect mix of adventure and relaxation, had the best/kindest tour guides and drivers, and the loveliest hotels. Everything ran smoothly and Dianna and the Thailand team were always a message away -- readily available to answer any question or fix any issue. From the very first call, the planning process was seamless. We didn't have to lift a finger our entire trip, making it worry-free and super enjoyable. Somehow she managed to plan a 2 week multi generational trip (travelers ages 3-74 yrs) with no one feeling left out or stressed. Fantastic experience: This was our second time working with Melanie at Travel Beyond for a trip to Africa. We made the mistake of using a different travel agency last year and were constantly talking about how much better our experience with Travel Beyond had been. We won’t make that mistake again! Melanie has so much personal experience in Africa, which is extremely helpful. They also cover every detail so that you really don’t have to worry about anything! They send a very detailed package with a detailed itinerary and detailed tipping guide. She was great with answering all of our questions and setting up local contacts who stayed in touch during the trip as well. The lodges and their staffs staffs were all top notch! Travel Beyond is the only travel agency that we want to use from now on!

Fantastic experience: Based on the recommendation of a former colleague, we used Travel Beyond to plan our recent trip to East Africa with another couple, and we were very pleased. This was our first trip to Africa, and arranging a trip can be confusing given the number of travel advisors, tour operators, safari companies, etc. that are in the market. We had initial difficulty in finding the right advisor/company to work with. Once we were introduced to Travel Beyond, we worked extensively with Melanie, who has been in Africa on many trips. None of our group knew a lot about East Africa, so Melanie helped us think about what we really wanted to do and experience. She then provided some customized itineraries and budgets for our consideration. Just as importantly, she helped steer us away from some of the more “touristy” experiences in East Africa. Melanie was very patient in working with us and addressing our questions and concerns. Ultimately we booked a two-week trip to Kenya and Tanzania, with my wife and I continuing on to Rwanda for a couple of days of trekking to see mountain gorillas. Melanie and Elle kept in regular contact leading up to the trip, and provided comprehensive information and instructions on what to pack, how to obtain visas, etc. Travel Beyond effectively provided a turn-key customized experience, with four to six different hotels/lodges/camps, flights between locations, tours and game drives, etc. The properties were uniformly of very high quality and unique, with wonderful service and food. From a “peace of mind” standpoint, we had someone with us at each entry/exit/transfer point to help with immigration, security, logistics, luggage, etc. We also had a dedicated “local” contact while on the trip to handle any questions or help with any issues (which we didn’t have). While all four of our group are experienced travelers and have made most of our own arrangements in the past, it was great to have someone else worry about the logistics so we could focus on the experience. We had a wonderful trip and are already thinking about our next one. We can very enthusiastically recommend Travel Beyond. A safari is by no means an inexpensive trip, but we found that Travel Beyond worked with us to understand what was possible at different budgets and then crafted an exceptional trip.

Fantastic experience: Travel Beyond created an amazing itinerary for our trip to Kenya and Tanzania. Something magical happened everyday of our three week trip. The safari camps they chose for us were varied in location and style, but they were all top notch. We saw a leopard kill an impala and carry it right by our vehicle, hundreds of elephants walking across the plains to spend the day near the water, baby lions emerging from the bush with their mother, cheetahs taking down a gazelle, beautiful birds, a male lion mating with the females in the pride, a hyena chasing a leopard into a tree and so much more. At Giraffe Manor, in Nairobi, we were wakened by giraffes wanting to be fed from our bedroom window, then they joined us for breakfast. Travel Beyond did so much to make this the incredible journey that it turned into. We would not have gone at the end of January if it weren’t for the encouragement of Kayla and Maggie. They pointed out that this is the time of year that the babies are born. It was amazing watching young elephants frolicking in the water, lion cubs playing tag, and a mother cheetah showing her two young ones how to hunt. Kayla and Maggie are, not only very knowledgeable, they are good listeners. They understood our desire to focus on wildlife photography and made sure we had guides that were experts at giving us the perfect shots. We will use them again when we return to Africa.

Fantastic experience: If 10 stars were an option, I'd give them to Travel Beyond and particularly Dianna Upton. She and the Travel Beyond team designed and arranged the trip of a lifetime for us to Thailand and Cambodia. Every detail was attended to. The lodging properties were gorgeous and comfortable and personable. The itinerary allowed us to fully explore two nations from a cultural as well as historical and environmental standpoint. The help in international transfers for flight changes proved to be a great asset. We highly recommend Dianna and Travel Beyond for your next travel adventure.

Fantastic experience: Over the course of 17 days in Ecuador and Peru visiting the Galapagos Islands (Quasar Evolution), Quito, the Sacred Valley, and Machu Picchu, we had the most unforgettable journey that covered so much, and there is hardly anything we could even think of doing differently. We can not begin to thank Jennifer Gillmore and Nicole Cooper at TravelBeyond enough for helping us set up the trip of a lifetime, or we should really say “two trips of a lifetime in one!” They made all the key arrangements - hotels, guides, transportation, restaurant recommendations, etc., and answered any number of questions from the time we first started planning this trip until the day before we took off for Peru. I have travelled a good deal making my own plans and reservations, and in this case can clearly see the benefit of going with true experts to plan the journey from start to finish. If you are considering either Machu Picchu or Galapagos, call Jennifer and Nicole and have them help arrange a trip you will never forget!!

Fantastic experience: Dianna and Callie from Travel Beyond did a remarkable job planning a 2-week long safari across Kenya, Tanzania and Rwanda for my 8-person family. Before the trip, their team was on it in making sure we all were properly equip with the correct clothing, visas, vaccines and available to answer any miscellaneous questions we had. They were even able to help me coordinate with one of the hotels in advance to book a massage for my parents as a surprise with a lovely note and presentation upon arrival. Once we were in Africa, our travel was seamless - an amazing itinerary coupled with outstanding accommodations and local guides to enhance our experience. Throughout the trip they continuously checked in to make sure all was going well. They even went the extra mile with requests such as getting a framed photo of our dogs (who we were greatly missing!) to put in my parents room. Their service was superb - professional, thoughtful and attentive. It was an unforgettable trip, I am already dying to go back and would definitely work with Travel Beyond again!

Fantastic experience: This summer our family of three took an amazing 11-day trip to Kenya, staying at 4 safari lodges in Nairobi, Amboseli, Lewa and Mara North. We've always planned every detail of our family trips ourselves, but I was overwhelmed by the number of parks, lodges, times of year, and even countries in East Africa; I also really wanted to travel with culturally and environmentally responsible outfitters and guides. From my first phone call with Megan, she answered every single question even those that felt silly to ask, and I trusted her to give me honest answers. She and Katie also made our pre-trip planning so easy to follow, from visas to insurance to immunizations to in-country flights to packing to tip guides, no detail was overlooked. Fantastic experience: Wow. Simply wow! Melanie and Elle crafted an outstanding 15-day, somewhat logistically complicated, private safari to Tanzania and Kenya for my PhD daughter and me. Fantastic experience: Travel Beyond is THE best travel agency I have ever had the pleasure of dealing with. This is at least my third trip with them which was to Vietnam, and Dianna and Natalie nailed it! As always, this trip was tailored to my interests, as well as seeing all the highlights of various cities with a little bicycling, kayaking, and exotic animal treking thrown in. I brought along my 84 year old father who had a ball. Our favorite activity was a vespa foodie tour. Through Travel Beyond, we met a Vietnamese war veteran, a princess, and spent a day with a farm family where we learned what everyday life is like in their village. Being in my 50's, there are three things that I really love with this company. The first is that we stay in the most beautiful hotels with a mix of small boutique ones to well known luxury brands depending on the locations. Second, being so tired on arrival when traveling so far away, someone is always there to greet you and quickly navigate you through customs. They then get you to your hotel or start touring until your room is ready. I would not hesitate to travel alone with this group as you are always escorted everywhere. We have fabulous local guides and drivers, and it is SO safe. Third, I have never experienced a guide or driver yet who didn't show up. With other agencies in the past, this has happened on occasion with the first (and only) trip taken. Dianna and Natalie, as well as all the agents here, send you a thorough itinerary, a packing list, and a tipping chart in order of date and activities so you are very prepared with no guess work. They make sure EVERYTHING is ready well in advance. I have yet to experience an inconvenient surprise. This truly is luxury travel at it's finest, and I can't say enough about the quality of this company. If Travel Beyond plans in the regions I am visiting, I will not use anyone else!

Dianna was integral in making this trip happen. My friend was already set to go to Botswana, and I ended up tagging along last minute. Dianna contacted the camps and was able to get me in and situated with short notice. I have dietary restrictions, and we were also celebrating my friend's birthday. Fantastic experience: Visiting Africa was a travel dream for my husband and me. All our hopes were realized with the careful planning and attention to our needs with Travel Beyond. From pre-travel conferences with Megan to our return home, every detail was well coordinated. We highly recommend Travel Beyond for the ultimate travel experience. The safari experience in Amboseli, Lewa, and Mara North were exceptional. Accommodations at the three Elewana properties were most luxurious. Each property provided us with a different adventure, wonderful service, and great food. Our guides in Kenya were most professional, extremely passionate about their work, and provided a wealth of knowledge about Eastern Africa. We appreciated learning not only about the animals, birds, insects, and plants, but also much about the way of life in the bush. We also have a greater appreciation for how the natives, conservancies, and government owned land work together to share the beauty with others around the world. Gorilla trekking in Uganda was well worth the time and resources. Being in the Bwindi Impenetrable National Park observing gorilla families just inches away was breathtaking! The hike in the forest with guides, trackers, and porters is also a learning experience. Our accommodation at Mahogany Springs was beautiful. We are most appreciative of Megan at Travel Beyond and staff on the ground in Kenya and Uganda for this opportunity.

Dianna, Natalie and the rest of the team were experts in Thai travel and helped plan an amazing itnerary with stops in Bangkok, Chiang Rai, Chiang Mai and Phuket. Fantastic experience: Travel Beyond arranged a coordinated our trip to Peru from 12/26/23-1/6/24. They did a magnificent job. Everything went incredibly smoothly from the very moment we touched down and met their first transfer support team. The tours that they arranged were incredibly good with wonderful guides who seemed to have no end of knowledge and were always, every second of the day, upbeat and fun. They did a very appropriate amount of work in advance of the trip to understand our family and what we like to do as they assembled the itinerary, and it was really perfect. Fantastic experience: We just returned from an amazing trip to Vietnam/Cambodia organized by the team at Travel Beyond (Dianna Upton & Natalie Dmytrenko). We have traveled alot but their skill in finding unique experiences is unbelievable. Every one of our stops had unique food/cocktails, cultural experiences and even the unusual (rats that find landmines! elephant rescues! and riding on mopeds in Hanoi). Fantastic experience: Travel Beyond, under Melanie Reger's leadership, did an outstanding job designing a custom itinerary for Southern Kenya and the Seychelles. During the designing phase, Melanie quickly understood our objectives and was very nimble to make adjustments whenever we provided feedback. The resulting trip was incredible, with impeccable logistics. My wife and I will certainly be customers for life!

Fantastic experience: Our agent Melanie Reger at Travel Beyond did a spectacular job putting everything together for a wonderful experience in Africa. The trip was probably the best of our lives. Our chore now is to sort through the hundreds of memorable photos and figuring out a way to look at them frequently. We are unable to identify the best part of the trip since there were so many highlights. Melanie scheduled 3 safaris (Botswana, Zimbabwe and South Africa) and a visit to Cape Town - all the safaris were unique and memorable in their own way. She scheduled places that were different enough to warrant seeing all three. She also arranged the in-country flights, ground transportation and assistance at airports and customs in each country. We would highly recommend Melanie and Travel; Beyond if you are planning a trip to Africa.

Fantastic experience: I had a terrific experience with Travel Beyond while planning my first African safari. I’m widely traveled and always plan my own trips. But for a safari I felt it would be best to use experts. I was highly satisfied with the service Travel Beyond provided and with the trip they planned. I primarily worked with Jenny Falls. She was friendly, responsive, and courteous. She made a sincere effort to understand my wants and needs and to design a trip that met them. And she succeeded. The destinations, lodging, and transportation were wonderful. At one point Jenny was gone for a week and Kayla Torgerson seamlessly filled in for her, which is evidence of the professionalism of the entire Travel Beyond team. Fantastic experience: Travel Beyond did an amazing job of creating a three-week trip of a lifetime to East Africa for our family of six in July 2023. We visited five private conservancies in Kenya and, in addition to viewing the amazing wildlife (including rhinocerous, elephant and giraffe sanctuaries), we were able to enjoy interaction with local tribal communities. After Kenya, my wife and I then went to Rwanda for mountain gorilla trekking. What an amazing experience to get close and personal with two gorilla families. All of our accommodtions were very luxurious (even in the bush), and our safari guides and service providers were amazing. Nothing was left to chance, including all of the ground and air transportation. We cannot adequately express our appreciation to Kota Tabuchi and Callie Robinson. Anyone traveling to East Africa must use Travel Beyond!

Fantastic experience: Melanie at Travel Beyond planned an epic 25 night sabbatical trip for me to Botswana and Zimbabwe in April / May 2023. I began the process with very little knowledge of Southern Africa, and a lack of clear budgetary and time constraints. Melanie patiently worked with me through different itinerary incarnations and kept me on track when I got overwhelmed by the different options. Finalizing the itinerary took two months, but I was delighted with the result. I appreciated that I wasn’t pressured at any point during the planning process. This was a big enough trip that I needed to have absolute confidence in my choices. The documentation provided by Travel Beyond in the run up to the trip was exhaustive, especially the tipping guidelines. The pre-trip call was very useful. Melanie was incredibly responsive to last minute questions, as well as the few details that I needed to confirm while on the trip. The trip itself was simultaneously the most luxurious and adventurous thing I’ve ever done. Highlights included: waiting four hours for a lioness to fetch her 4-8 week old cubs from their hiding place to feast upon a warthog kill; a wild dog kill saga that unfolded over 24 hours in front of Duba Explorers; a cheetah mother with six cubs lounging by the Chitabe air strip; a male lion exploding into a grove at night, driving a large group of lionesses off a kill as they dispersed around the vehicle, calling to one another; an elephant, submerged up to its head in the Selinda Spillway and surrounded by jacanas, feasting upon water lily stems; an aerial loop over Victoria Falls on the flight from Kasane; the rapids on the river “commute” from the Victoria Falls jetty to Mpala Jena; canoeing past hippo pods on the Zambezi near Mana Pools; a daylong boat trip to the spectacular Mpata Gorge, near the Mozambique border; a low-flying charter flight from Mana Pools to Pamushana in a tiny Cessna; tracking white rhinos and a bull elephant on foot; having our way blocked by a black rhino mother and baby in a mountainous section of the Malilangwe Reserve as we watched a lion pride cross the road up ahead; glimpsing a leopard in the distance as we were walking across the dry river bed in front of the Chilojo Cliffs in Gonarezhou National Park. I was the only guest in the vehicle on most game drives, and for several nights, the only guest in camp. I am convinced I got the best positioned tents. I was keen to spend as much time exploring as possible. All the camps accommodated, and I saw an unbelievable number of lions, cheetahs, leopards, black and white rhino, wild dogs, elephants, hippos, and different species of antelope. I even saw an African wild cat! Many of the guides were avid photographers and knew how to position the vehicles for the best shots. The Great Plains vehicles, in particular, were amazing, with the middle seat removed so you could easily switch sides and unreal shock absorption. All transfers went smoothly. I was met and assisted with luggage and customs and immigration, if necessary, at every stop. I greatly enjoyed my conversations with guides, camp managers and staff, and other guests. It was the perfect set-up for a solo traveler. I appreciated that Travel Beyond was able to make the international flight arrangements for a reasonable fee. They noticed and were able to adjust a connection that had become too tight due to a changed flight time. I was really busy in the run-up to the trip - this reduced the stress level, and let me focus on packing. Big shoutout to Elle, the trip coordinator, as well!

Fantastic experience: Travel Beyond did an excellent job in planning my trip to Borneo. I travelled with a girlfriend, for a three week trip. With each stop, we were met by incredible guides, stayed at awesome locations, and witnessed all the wildlife that we had hope to see. Borneo is a more unusual place to visit, but I would recommend that everyone go there, and have Travel Beyond plan the trip. If I were to do this trip again, I would spend more time in Sabah, and a little less in Sarawak. If you are time crunched, you could do the trip in two weeks. We also visited Kuala Lumpur, and Singapore. Love Travel Beyond!

Fantastic experience: We booked a South African Safari through Travel Beyond for our Honeymoon and have nothing but amazing things to say about Travel Beyond as well as our representatives Melanie Reger and Callie Robinson. From the beginning parts of planning our trip, we knew we were in capable hands with expert opinion on all destination and lodges helping us select the exact trip to suit our preferences. Once the trip began, Travel Beyond helped coordinate on the ground transportation from the moment we landed at each of our stops that made the trip seamless. We also used a number of customized tours in Cape Town and in the Seychelles that were coordinated through Travel Beyond which were incredible. Overall I could not recommend Travel Beyond enough for Africa or other Destinations for creating an unforgettable experience.

Fantastic experience: After extensive research and calls with many of the African safari tour companies, we decided to move forward with Melanie Reger and Elle Ervin at TravelBeyond and are so grateful that we did. Melanie was extremely knowledgeable, kind, and honestly created a dream itinerary for my husband and I on our honeymoon. We ended up traveling to Uganda for a gorilla trek, to Kenya (Lewa and the Masai Mara) for safari, and ending with another safari in the Serengeti in Tanzania. Each experience and camp that we stayed at was vastly different to the other and all of this was in thanks to Melanie's expert advice and experience. She curated a perfect itinerary (and more!) based on what I had told her our wishes were for our trip. We couldn't have asked for a more eye-opening, wonderful, and seamless experience. Not only was she very thorough with the entire itinerary, she was also always just a text or phone call away whenever we needed help with anything. If your budget allows, don't look any further. All transport, accommodation, FOOD, and staff were top-notch and exceeded all expectations. You will get what you paid for and more. We were definitely slightly hesitant to spend the amount we did but are so grateful we did now that we are back home from our trip. We felt so safe and looked after our entire trip. We always had a greeter or airport staff to welcome us as soon as we got off our flights (big or small) and to help navigate immigration and airport security. The entire trip was seamless and SO efficient! We were able to skip long queues and honestly treated like royalty. Nothing like we had ever experienced before. Melanie was also extremely helpful in helping us prepare for the trip with vaccination recommendations (required and recommended) as well as a complete packing list from TravelBeyond that she helped go through with us. We could not have done with without Melanie and the entire TravelBeyond team and are forever grateful! Bonds were made, tears were shed, and memories were made that will last a lifetime. We can't wait to go back.

She was so knowledgeable about the country and gave fantastic recommendations on tours, accommodations, restaurants, and must-do's in each city we visited. Fantastic experience: My journey through Peru was epic in every respect. Machu Picchu had been on my bucket list for some time so I figured what better time to go than during a pandemic. The professionalism, thoughtfulness and passion of Jennifer quickly put to rest any of my concerns which were quickly replaced with unbridled enthusiasm. Jennifer and her team masterfully orchestrated one of my most memorial trips/experiences to the Sacred Valley, Pisac, Cuzco and of course Machu Picchu, which included the mind blowing Inca Trail/Sun Gate followed by a beautifully scenic, luxurious and fun-filled train ride on the Bingham Train. The Peruvian people are beautiful in every way - kind, thoughtful, innovative, passionate and with a massive amount of love and reverence for life, family and of course the mountains, rivers, sun and moon. The majestic scenery and sights filled me with a sense of wonder, awe and gratitude that is and remains transformative. My expectations of this trip were in the stratosphere and somehow this experience far exceeded those expectations. Every detail of the trip - flights, in country transportation, resorts/hotels, dietary restrictions, activities and last but certainly not least the guides - showed a level of excellence, care and professionalism that puts Travel Beyond in a an class by itself. And, mind you, this trip took place last August/September when the pandemic was still in full force. The guides, Abe for the bike tour and Nick for the entire tour were so palpably passionate about their country - it's culture, history and stunning topography - and their profession. Nick was by my side for pretty much the entire trip - 9 days. This may seem like a long time to be with the same guide but I wouldn't have had it any other way. Nick has all of the attributes you want in a guide - knowledgeable, passionate, great sense of humor, empathetic and patient (even though I ran late for almost everything). Nick was always calm, pragmatic and unflappable regardless of any curve ball that was thrown his way (mostly by me). I remain truly grateful for his friendship, openness and professionalism which made my journey to Peru so over the moon. I really can't say enough positive things about Nick and Jennifer and the entire Travel Beyond team.

Our guides were seasoned professionals with extensive knowledge on the animals, terrain, etc. All the accommodations were five star, the food exceptional and friendly staff welcomed us every time. Amazing safaris paired with the cultural experience in Cape Town created the ultimate South Africa experience!

Fantastic experience: We are so happy we used Travel Beyond to plan our trip to Southern Africa! We travel internationally a lot and were hesitant to entrust planning to someone else, but we liked Travel Beyond from the moment we first interacted with them and now couldn’t imagine anyone else planning our next safaris. We were impressed with their knowledge, attention to detail, and personal touches throughout the planning and trip itself. After our first safari trip to Tanzania in 2019, we knew we wanted to see more of the African continent. Kota was fantastic to work with, listening to our desires and and offering valuable insights and knowledge as we narrowed in on what we wanted out of this next trip. He presented us 3 different itinerary options based on our preferences, availability, and budget and we chose 1 of them. We booked our trip for August 2021 in January (~7 months in advance), and we were cautiously optimistic that everything would pan out given the global pandemic situation. Government regulations in Africa changed over the course of the year, and Kota and Jenny stayed on top of everything and made minor adjustments to our itinerary when necessary. They were always available to answer our (many) questions, and worked with us to make sure we were prepared for our upcoming trip, from packing lists to Covid test requirements. All of the pre-trip information was so nice to have (especially the tipping guide, which told us exactly how many 1s, 5s, 10s, and 20s to bring on our trip and who to give them to!). The actual trip was incredible and went absolutely perfectly! We visited 4 countries (South Africa, Zambia, Zimbabwe, Botswana) in 2.5 weeks, had to Covid test into each of them, and had 6 different flying segments within Africa. We were prepared for something to go wrong with all the logistics in the middle of Covid, but nothing ever did. Every driver, greeter, flight, etc. was on time and efficient in getting us to where we need to go. We did not want to waste time, and this was taken seriously by Travel Beyond and all of the camps that they placed us in. I think this is a testament to their extensive work behind the scenes, as well as their excellent relationship with the camps. We stayed at 3 different safari camps, each unique and different than the next with a whole range of game viewing activities. We had high expectations and they were exceeded. It was so nice to have an itinerary with so much diversity built in, both in terms of wildlife and activities. We also stayed at two different properties for R&R, which were thoughtfully chosen and exactly what we wanted. I am super picky about lodging, but these properties blew me away! Kota helped us spend money thoughtfully - we splurged where it mattered, but he also talked us out of some more expensive options when we could get better “bang for our buck” elsewhere. We are already planning our next trip to Africa, and needless to say, Travel Beyond will help us do it.

Fantastic experience: My mom and I started planning for our trip of a lifetime to South Africa in 2019. We were planning to travel in August of 2020. We met with Melanie and from the first conversation, she was warm and welcoming and was so excited for us to get to experience the beauty of South Africa. As we all know, 2020 smacked us right in the face with a global pandemic that impacted the travel industry the hardest. Borders were closed, air travel was not recommended and our dreams of seeing South Africa were quickly collapsing around us. I cannot tell you how THANKFUL we were to have Melanie and Stephanie help navigate us through all of this. We could have never done this on our own. They cancelled out safari lodges and flights and rebooked everything for August 2021. Although we were saddened to have to wait another year to get to South Arica, we were confident that we would get there (safely!) with a team like Melanie and Stephanie at our side. Throughout the year leading up to our rescheduled travel, I don’t even remember the amount of changes that happened to our itinerary (it was a lot, trust me!), and they handled everything with calmness and ease even though I’m sure it was a nightmare for them on the back end. We put our full trust in them and they delivered far above and beyond what we ever expected. We were able to make it out to South Africa in August 2021 and to say it was a trip of a lifetime is an understatement. The beauty of South Africa, and especially the South African bush, is unparalleled to anything we’ve ever seen or done. My luggage was even delayed arriving into South Africa and Melanie was still by my side helping us through it all even after we were feet on the ground in South Africa (and still helping me with it post-trip). Thoughtful touches and notes throughout our trip made us feel welcomed and that our business was appreciated. We found a travel company we now love in Travel Beyond thanks to Melanie and Stephanie and we will definitely be back to book with them. Not to mention the recommendations we’ll be giving out to friends who want to experience Africa. My mom and I are already talking about where we could go next! (And I'm thinking about how I could pull of a solo trip!). This year looked a bit different with the pandemic and all of the closures, yet Travel Beyond stayed ahead of the change. They planned a wonderful itinerary to a beautiful country - complete with top rate guides, wonderful tours, a fantastic and fun driver - shout out to Vlad - and a coffee tasting in Panama that is a new favorite of ours! We went to Santa Catalina and stayed at Catalina’s hotel - a secluded beach boutique hotel hidden in a small town with snorkeling tours just up the rode. Dianna, our travel agent, was superb and had tons of local tips and recommendations, caring for our every need. We love coffee and good food, and Panama did not disappoint. I would recommend Travel Beyond and Panama to anyone - easy, close, fun and wonderful people - and food :)

Fantastic experience: Thanks to Jennifer Gillmore and her team for arranging such a smooth, memorable and exciting adventure trip for our group of 10 women! The itinerary was so well planned with the right amount of time in each area - taking us from Iguazu Falls to the lakes, glaciers, mountains of Patagonia in Argentina & Chile. Fantastic experience: My wife and I are just back from 2 weeks in Tanzania and Kenya, a trip organized with our input by Kota Tabuchi and Callie Robinson at Travel Beyond Travel Agency. Given our priorities, Travel Beyond"s role was to help us pick the best camps and facilitate the travel between camps. We stayed in 3 tented camps in private reserves bordering the great Serengeti plains and national parks. Consequently going off road and on night drives was possible and added imeasurably to the experience. Each of the "tented camps" were wonderful, great locations, accomadations, food, and guides. The distance were long and roads poor, so getting from camp to camp was by small flights in (barely) commercial planes. We were met by guides from the camps or Travel Beyond's excellent drivers at every step of the way. It was seamless with no glitches. If you want to organize your own first rate safari experience, you won't find a better agency then Travel Beyond. By the way, we got the recommendation for Travel Beyond from contacts at Lindblad Expeditions.

Fantastic experience: Our trip to South Africa and Botswana was our second trip with Travel Beyond. Last year we went to Argentina, including Buenos Aires, Patagonia, and the Iguazu Falls. Jennifer put together a trip for us where we felt that we came away with a true understanding of the beauty of Argentina. Every part of the trip was planned for us in detail. This year, our trip to Africa was also meticulously planned. The three safari camps that Katie chose for us allowed us to explore the richness of the varied terrain and animal life in the two countries. As well, Katie was able to build in an informative trip to Cape Town and a visit with old friends in a different part of South Africa. Every itinerary is custom designed to the individual needs and desires of the client. We plan to use Travel Beyond many more times in the future.

Fantastic experience: Mary Jo and I had a wonderful two-week trip in southern Africa that was put together by Craig, Katie and Alexis.They were our educators, planners and doers. Fantastic experience: I had a trip beyond my dreams planned by Travel Beyond. We had many, many connections and I thought for sure there would be a slip up somewhere. Someone met us at every connection. This gave us great reassurance. We were in South Africa, Botswana, Namibia, Zambia and Zimbabwe. Every lodge we stayed in was just fantastic and all of the people at each lodge were amazing. Every guide was superb to watch and always found amazing sightings. The trip planning gave us the most in terms of seeing incredible, incredible wildlife. I loved every minute of every day. We saw incredible animal behavior from a sub adult male elephant charging us, baby hyennas standing on our Land Rover, baby lions fresh out of their den, bat eared foxes, and a Marshall Eagle plucking a Francolin. I could go on and on. It was a trip of a life time but I'm sure any trip Travel Beyond plans would be.

Fantastic experience: Travel Beyond put together a fantastic itinerary for me and my family for Botswana safaris and 4 nights in Cape Town. I worked with Ken Marshall, who gave me great advice. There are so many safari lodges out there. If you don't stay at lodges owned by the same company, you're left on your own to coordinate your transfers. The logistics of putting together the transfers is a lot of work. You could do it on your own, but if you're not familiar with the vendors, it is best to work with professionals who can vet the vendors for you. Ken gave us great advice on how to structure our itinerary. I didn't have time to research all the places in the Okavango Delta, and Ken picked great lodges for us that fit my requests. He asked us what was important to us and listened to what we wanted to experience. The vendors used by Travel Beyond are all topnotch. We received VIP treatment and the planes used to fly us out to the bush all looked new and well-maintained. Our trip was flawless and all according to plan. Travel Beyond provides you with everything you need to make the trip run according to schedule.

Fantastic experience: Jenny and the TravelBeyond team did an amazing job planning my recent trip to South Africa and Botswana. From day one they were there to answer my questions and did a great job presenting me with options for travel. Every detail of what to expect before, during and post travel was shared along the way so that there were no surprises or missed steps. Giraffe Manor was at the top of my bucket list and I don't know how, but she was able to get us a room there less than 6 months out! She is super knowledgeable and has traveled to Africa countless times so she really did put my anxious mind at ease and was super patient in answering my million questions! She gave us wonderful suggestions for things to do during our down time in Nairobi- she really knows Kenya well! Every minute of our honeymoon was planned to perfection. Fantastic experience: Our experience with Travel Beyond was exceptional. We do not normally turn to a travel agency but for an African safari it was essential. Travel Beyond, unlike other agencies I reached out to or looked into, cared about what we wanted as an overall experience and then built an individualized itinerary around our desires, interests, etc. coupled with their tremendous knowledge. Working with Rose Loggi was a delight and outstanding professional from start to finish. She is top notch and absolutely every detail was perfectly planned. There were so many moving parts for our 5-camp safari from Kenya to Tanzania and Rose dotted every "i" and crossed every "t." Her recommendations on the flow of the trip, the specific camps where we should stay, and many other details were spot on. Travel Beyond is spectacularly good and I can't recommend highly enough. I'd give them 10 stars if it were allowed.

Fantastic experience: We worked with Ken from TravelBeyond to put together a 30 day trip to Peru. Ken was willing to work with our budget and adjust the itinerary as necessary. He recommended hotels and suggested local places and offered tips to make our Peru experience richer . UPDATE: Jenny and the Travel Beyond team put together a second Africa trip for us in 2018. This trip focused primarily on Kenya with a final stop at our favorite camp outside Victoria Falls, the Victoria Falls River Lodge. As in 2017, everything was perfectly orchestrated for us. The first few days in Nairobi were truly an experience. Up close with giraffes at the Giraffe Center and with elephants at the Sheldrick Elephant Orphanage were special moments. The camps in Kenya, Elsa's Kopje, Loisaba and Elephant Pepper were each spectacular in their own way. We are already working on plans for our third trip through Travel Beyond in 2019.

Fantastic experience: My sister and I loved all our African safari adventures brought to us by the highly qualified and expedient Travel Beyond staff! We were last minute add-ons to a trip to Africa my son and his wife had arranged through Travel Beyond. The staff at Travel Beyond jumped right in and planned a trip of a life time for us.
