Negative experience: The New website is very hard to use. I used the old one for years and always had good results and was very satisfied. They built a new website and if you search for resorts on Maui island be prepared to wait days, then try Maui City (something listed on their dropdown) and wait for another two days, it will search and search but will return nothing. Then call guest services, very nice people but its obvious, the old holiday systems is gone. Be prepared to pay a lot more for last minute deals. I bought a membership 6 years ago at one of the seminars they pull you into, I payed half down and made payments for the next few years with the promise that I would get these amazing rates for the duration of my membership. Six years in, just as the membership is about to break even, everything changes. Covid and rebooks are the fall guy but I can get better deals from other sources and pay no membership fees.

Fantastic experience: Holiday Systems International is one travel service that my husband and myself will be using for as long as we can travel. We have been members for many, many years. We have used them to book everything for our travel needs from overnight .accommodations to a 21 day cruise. On one of our latest bookings, we made numerous calls because we kept adding to and changing our travel plans for a 30 day cruise. Our travel agent never displayed impatience or a "Can't you get it straight" attitude. They were patient, kind and very helpful. This company has been invaluable by saving us money and any number of problem headaches that can result from most other agencies. We love them.

Positive experience: I have been a member for a few years now and they do have some great things to offer. They have a verity of hotels and resorts to choose from and if you find it cheaper somewhere else they will get you a better price for the same selection. One issue is the website. It needs work and doesn't give you much options. They are mostly based on calling in to get what you need when we are now in the age of technology where things are mostly done online. Apart from that they do have great customer service when they are available (they are not available 24/7 which is another issue). Overall it is worth being a member as it will payoff in the long run for all your vacationing needs.

Fantastic experience: I have used Advantage Services on several occasions to book weeks at a number of resorts in Mexico. They have always been very helpful and responsive, and their prices are competitive. We are happy with them.

Positive experience: In November 2021 we booked a 5-day stay in the Occidental at Cozumel. We are scuba divers and this resort had a package - 5 days and 4-dives each. It was a beautiful resort, nice rooms, good food and service. We did our 4-dives and the day before leaving we got a call from the dive shop requesting confirmation of the dive package. I checked our paperwork, however, there was no mention of the dive package. - Lesson learnt - I need to be more careful when reviewing all the paperwork to ensure we were getting what we expected. It, unfortunately, doubled our cost of the resort. Yes, I would go back to this resort as most of the dives were just offshore and fast to get to

I would rate her 5 stars and the customer services she extended to 3 more family members for New Orleans, gave us a great experience with the first time using this system. We enjoy vacations and traveling, however, this trip was important. Our son graduated from Ochsner/Queensland, from medical school, due to pandemic, we had to watch the ceremony via zoom. Our fun surprise was that our rooms were fabulous and roomy for 16 friends and family to enjoy their rooms and our living room , in the resort , was perfect to entertain and chillax with all of us plus my 92 year old mother in law. Positive experience: What a super week! Thank you! I had previously reserved a 1 bedroom which was the last accommodation available at the Southern California Beach Resort. I later accepted a beachfront studio. After traveling and my initial disappointment that the room wasn’t quite the standard I’d expected, the staff could not have been more understanding and helpful. From then on, my stay was far more than what I’d expected. The room and kitchen were adequate. The resort is well located, virtually on the beach, within easy walking distance of the various street markets which are held both day and evening, close enough to freeway if necessary…. I had a wonderful stay and hope to return many more times.

Fantastic experience: Holiday Systems arranged a hotel for us on a recent trip to Florida. We had a last minute thought to spend several days in Key West, after attending a wedding, up near Ft. Meyers. It turned out to be a big Boat Race Weekend in Key West, and we couldn't find any accommodations on our own. Advantage Services found us a nice place right in the "Old Town Area" that worked out great !

Fantastic experience: We don,t save huge amount booking with Advantage but they always have the best price. Booking with a company that you can trust to give you the best price is very comforting. The wide choice of hotels means that you are pretty sure that the hotel that you want is part of the program.

Fantastic experience: This was our first experience with Holiday Systems in a long time, because we just reactivated our membership after a lapse. They did an outstanding job in fulfilling our desire to use a Breakaway Week (from the ones given to us by our Mayan Palace timeshare) to visit Puerto Vallarta. We had never been to Vallarta and didn't know what to expect, and Holiday provided us a nearly-perfect resort, Paradise Village. We realized once we got to Vallarta and toured around, that there are a huge number of less desirable resorts, little more than a high-rise and a swimming pool and, less often, a good beach close by. Paradise was nothing short of spectacular. The nightly shows were of far higher quality than we expected, better than many we have seen on cruise ships. The beach (and its 85F water) were absolutely perfect, shallow enough to wade out 100 m and still stand up, and protected from big ocean waves. The pools and their crocodile water slides were mindboggling! Our 3rd-floor room had a great view of the main pool and the ocean. The room had a separate bedroom, two bathrooms, and a small kitchen. There was a nearby supermarket so we could eat in sometimes, although the resort restaurants were good (the buffet) to excellent (the specialty Mexican and Japanese) and modestly priced by US standards. We couldn't be more pleased with the service we received from Holiday in getting us into Paradise for less than $100 per night.

We were traveling with a person with limited mobility issues and the facility was more than adequately prepared to serve us. We would certainly use Advantage again.

Fantastic experience: HCI/HSI is an awesome company. Especially helpful during the pandemic. We were still able to find a location in Maui that was clean and perfect. They are great for buying sporting events tickets. There fees are way lower than ticket master and I found I was able to save over 100.00 each for Seahawks tickets. I’m definitely keeping this program forever!!

Negative experience: Prior to the change in the website format, I would have given a review of 5 stars. Our family has been very pleased with Holiday Systems since we became clients in 2008. Please go back to the previous website where the burn weeks were listed and priced by the week. The new format is not user friendly and it is difficult to peruse availability to make reservations. We are not using your services as much as it is very time consuming to try to figure out specific locations rather than being apprised of lodging options.

While I don't have too much to brag about HSI's older management/ownership as then the customer support was truly terrible and I could barely get anyone to help... Fast forward this year, I am told that HSI is under new management or ownership. I was indeed so surprised and impressed with the change of attitude or perhaps a new culture that has evolved in this company! It is so refreshing to find that customer support was eager to help me! As a matter of fact, it was a very positive experience the few times I called in to HSI. I feel that the sales team are motivated now. All around, this time with HSI with the new management, I will give a 5 STAR review as I have been satisfied with the sales support team. The Four Star is for the lack of availability in your choices of resorts. HSI's new attitude towards re-building a new company is showing very positive signs. In my years, I have not been motivated to even use any of the weeks I had owned. I am particularly interested in the Last Minute Weeks as my husband and I have more flexibility with our travel schedules. The one important feedback that I would like to provide to HSI is, please try to secure more Last Minute Deals for us. I find the lack of resorts have been incredibly frustrating and I have been losing interest with time in looking. Keep up your wonderful customer service. I truly appreciate it! :)

While HSI might not be as flashy and "new" as some of the others, they have never failed to have good deals for us in places we like to go and their "last minute deals" can be really, really affordable!

Fantastic experience: I finally used my HSI membership this past month. I very nice location that we love, The Desert Willows in Palm Desert, had a Week recently for less than $149 per day. I booked it and was a little nervous when HSI called me back a week later. When I returned their call, they said that the one bedroom suite was not available so they were going to give me a two bedroom for the same price. If course we were fine with this. When I was on the phone with HSI, I asked about parking and resort fees, because I know that this location typically charges both. They assured me that all fees where included with the package price for the week. When we checked in, they said that all fees were included in the HSI price and they treated us like very special guests. We could not have been happier with our week in Palm Desert purchased through HSI.

Fantastic experience: have been a member for 11 years now and have used HSI for ourselves, family and friends. It is especially great for larger groups when you can book a few rooms in the same location. Have literally saved thousands of dollars in Hawaii, Mexico, Oregon, Vegas, Breckenridge, etc. throughout the years. We do travel frequently and do utilize other accommodation's available out there. We have dropped some big cash to do so, creating memories is something you never regret. I have to give a shout out to Elsa Conerly in Guest Services out of Vegas. She has assisted me several times and is literally a pleasure to call when I or my family has needed some additional assistance

Fantastic experience: En junio 2021 estuvimos en al Albergue del lac Morency en la provincia del Quebec en Canada, a una hora y media de Montreal. Es un lugar muy bonito y con una naturaleza que desborda de belleza y vida.Creemos que la semana que pasamos alli con nuestra familia fue muy apasionante y excelente para recuperar las fuerzas y la energia perdida del dia a dia del trabajo habitual. El resort es tranquilo, tiene lugares de juego para los niños, una marina con canoas, cayaks y pedalo para juegos y paseos en el agua. El albergue fue muy cómodo y limpio y la comida del restaurante simplemente espectacular. El alrededor esta lleno de arboles y de naturaleza. Hay muchas actividades cerca que puedes hacer como por ejemplo montar bicicletra por los recodos y caminos hechos para esto. También hay pueblitos y lugares interesantes para visitar.

Fantastic experience: We've been members or HSI for about a dozen years; first signed up when we bought a timeshare in Mexico. We've used the breakaway and burn weeks several times during those years, the most recent was to celebrate our 50th anniversary in Myrtle Beach, SC. The setting was spectacular. Our room was literally less than 100 yards from the ocean and we went to sleep listening to the waves. Another time, we booked a last minute week in Grand Cayman...for $105 (plus resort fees). I learned to dive in GC so it's always a favorite to go back to. Overall, we've been very pleased with HSI. Their selection, timing, and pricing is very reasonable compared to booking directly with the property.

Fantastic experience: I used Holiday Systems International for my stay at Paradise Beach Villas. The room was clean, comfortable and just right across from the beach. The pool was great and the bar and Italian restaurant was excellent. I will definitely be using HSI for future vacations!

Negative experience: I have been a member of HSI since my purchase of a week biennially w Villa Sol Resort in Costa Rica 2012. Last year requested transfer/ banking of points to travel domestically. Was refused banking due to glut of points HSI accepted. So in 2021 the points were banked. When I requested a stay near to where I live, my 2 bedroom solar was exchanged for a 1 Bdrm cabin at an RV park in Lockport NY. Plus I would need to pay $699 exchange. I discussed this w HSI agent indicating that they tout 2M units w 30,000 destinations and that's what's available to me. My maintenance fees are$760 per weeks/year. So the agent offers me a stay in Manhattan studio for $1399 exchange. I'm accustomed to paying exchange of $99 and getting a comparable stay at a resort. Evidently my "criteria" the agent spoke of was only appeased by an outsourced destination. I guess my only next step is sell my timeshare week and be done with them all for travel. I'm appalled at the treatment as a Gold standard member.

Negative experience: I have been a member of HSI for 15 years. We purchased their program in Mexico and had easy experiences in booking and finding decent properties. This year, HSI quality and customer service has seriously declined. We had a trip booked to Hawaii and paid for travel protection. The hotel cancelled our stay due to COVID, and HSI wanted to provide a credit for future bookings, but I requested a refund. We do not know when we can travel to Hawaii in the future, so a refund would be more appropriate. HSI stated we needed to contact our travel protection plan to seek reimbursement, which we did. They denied the claim stating Pandemics are not covered under their plan. I have left 5 voicemails, sent 3 emails, and tried to reach someone at HSI, only to get a voicemail. I disputed the charges on my credit card two weeks ago, and HSI disabled my account due to a "charge back." I left messages with people in accounting, and left a message for Edgar (twice) in Inventory, only to have NO returned calls or communication. I would not recommend HSI at this point. Their inventory has dwindled to run down locations in poor areas of town. It is not what it used to be. Save your money or buy with Diamond Resorts or RCI instead.

Negative experience: I have been a member of Holiday Systems Int since 2006. I’ve had problems but have choose to think they will do better next time. Well their will be no next time. We have a one week vacation scheduled in Las Vegas starting March 29-April. Once California went into lock down I tried reaching HSI to no avail. I then called resort where we would be staying and they were closing down. Again, tried HSI no answer. I finally went through a recharge with my credit card company (Citi) THEN I hear from HSI about the charge back which they wanted me to stop and they would refund in June/July. No refund. Talked with them last week and was told they won the case and basically I was not getting a refund and they had to review my account to see if they could reinstate me. Not very nice about it, more in your face (ha ha). So because I did not have insurance I am out almost 600.00 because EVERYTHING shut down. Very bad business. I do not even want to be reinstated at this point. Sorry for long post but had to get out.
