Negative experience: Those ppl have a weird system when it comes to paying your insurance they give u extra fees on their mess ups idk most definitely do not recommend these weird ppl in another thing these ppl do not be on tha same page than they give extra fees cause of their mess ups

Negative experience: AAA is the worst insurance company I've ever experienced. I was first told my policy price would not change for the life of my term (which sounded weird to me) I then paid for my insurance to be active and had insurance with them for a year, my price went up. They then canceled my insurance without ANY notification and I was fully paid on time. If I didn't pay on time they would blow my phone up with calls, but they secretly quietly just cancelled my insurance without even talking to me or a phone call, at all. They claimed they sent a "letter" I never got . They canceled it in November. I got in a hit an run accident In December. How convenient for them. This company doesn't deserve to be one. All of their employees are incompetent, you get info from one person, then completely different info from another person. - 10 stars. They are sad pathetic greedy sneeky and literal liars. I will be contacting the BBB and my attorney on this issue. I mean the whole experince with them was an absolute nightmare. NEVER AGAIN. stay away, radioactive, toxic!!!!!

Negative experience: Been AAA member for over 5 years. I come into the office to make a payment and they had me waiting for over 15 minutes while all the workers just walking around looking at us. Nobody working just sipping their coffee and going outside for smoke break .

Negative experience: Only one start because I have to pick a rating. Horrendous! I have tried to get a hold of Erica at this office three times, left her voicemails and she never ever called me back. I spoke with another agent, James Adams, in the Akron Ohio office and he reassured me that he had spoken to Erica and that she had taken care of my issues and was to call me in the next two business days to confirm...issues not resolved and I haven't heard from her since! It has now been two months. I called James Adams at the Akron office a few times after that and asked if he would help me but to my surprise, he became very rude and told me "I am not your agent, do not call me. I cannot help you; you need to call the office in Independence." I am in Summit County Ohio. Akron is in Summit County, but Independence is Cuyahoga County, how does that make any sense?? If the office in Independence won't help me and neither, will the Akron office, nor will Jeff Wallace return my calls from the Solon office, who can I get to help me? I have been chasing these issues, which by the way are AAA's fault, since NOV of 2023.

Negative experience: Roadside assistance came out to the car. And kept repeating press on the gas turn the engine on press the gas press the gas turn it on turn it on this happened at least six times it was clearly not going to start. I go outside of the car and I look at the machine he's using and he said it is the alternator he then says go back in the car and start it again I said you just told me it's the alternator why would I try to start it again he said just try it again now hold down the gas pedal. I did not hold the gas pedal down. I thought this was very strange and then I became concerned later on that day that this man just instructed me to flood the engine. He then said we can tow you to any shop you want to go to but you have to call AAA first. Within two and a half minutes he's gone. I have to call another towing company to have it towed to a shop to find out there's nothing wrong with the alternator at all. I wanted nothing to do with AAA after that experience and I canceled my membership the next day.

Negative experience: AA A roadside service phone operators need to be retrained ! !!i An operator flat out lied to me and stated that " I could ride with the driver to my service shop to have my car repaired. THEY LIED or gave me a whole lot of misinformation. They could have easily told me you cannot ride in the cab because of covid. No , they choose to tell me a lie. If its up to the driver whether someone can ride in the cab or not, than say that !!!!!!!!! I could have made other arrangements. What a dis-service. And you call yourselves "A Premier Service company" what a joke.. I am handicapped and disabled and don't appreciate being treated like this . Shame on you AAA !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Negative experience: A tangle of disorganization. No longer a member oriented club, AAA has become a fifedom of competing marketing organizations. I moved after my wife died and attempted to transfer my membership. My old card is with the Summit county club which has merged with Columbus to become Ohio AAA. The Cleveland club whose offices are 3 miles away from me has merged with Pittsburg and calls themselves East Central. (No more Cleveland Auto Club) This new group won't service my account. No one is in charge at either organization. The staff doesn't have phone numbers of managers or authority to handle problems when they occur. As it stands, the Ohio club won't remove my deceased wife's membership or transfer mine. So the Summit club gave me a choice.. renew with them or cancel my membership. In other words, the last 3 months I paid for are useless and it's my job to reestablish the relationship with the new club at the right time. Cleveland East, says they can't do anything with my membership but i should call them in December when my old membership expires. This isn't customer service. This isn't member assistance. It's just bureacrats collectiing paychecks for telling customers they can't help. I would like to pass my candid opinions up to managmement. An hour into a call in the Pittsburg organization and three levels of escalation, and they still don't know how to let a member give feedback to the director of OUR automobile club. The problems and the solutions start at the top. But don't expect much anytime soon. At both merged autoclubs the management has insulated themselves from any contact with members, and even their own front line staff.

Fantastic experience: Fast, friendly, efficient employee helped me get ready for my road trip with a person Trip Tik (map) for my road trip vacation to the ocean. I have many stops during this multiple week trip. In 1 booklet there is a section for each leg of my trip. There is also a scan code for an interactive map for my phone with up-to-date info (road construction/detours). Also received tour books for the states and areas I'll be visiting. The AAA membership benefits are amazing, even saved $ on a rental thru Hertz ($54/day for a mid size SUV)! Average everywhere else $74. Every employee that walked past said hello and genuinely seemed happy to work there. Even though they are short staffed, they are doing a wonderful job taking care of their members' needs! Get a AAA membership you won't be sorry. Oh and if you need a EZ pass, they sell them here too!

Negative experience: I did.not realize the people that represent AAA being a customer representative are quite ignorant and rude and definitely not professional the role for customer service for the public should be skilled and considerate it seems as though the people rather young or old are not qualified to be a representative for a large company especially if they have a negative tone Why hire people for this role for customer service and not qualified. Negative experience: My parents have been Triple A members for 24 years. Sometimes the people they talk to on the phone are rude....especially their managers. Today for the first time ever my mother called to ask if they can have a courtesy tow and manager Melissa would not. Its being towed from Cleveland to Garfield Hts. 10 minutes away. No they cant do it. They are charging them 80 bucks for 3 miles. I think being a member for that long, a courtesy should be given. No perks after being there for 24 years. I mean it doesnt have to be free but 80 dollars? Thats ridiculous!!! They obviously dont value their long term customers. Their customer service sucks!!

Positive experience: I saw online that they could exchange foreign currency. I called and confirmed with the receptionist that they could do that. However when I arrived that same receptionist informed me that they only can do US to foreign currency not foreign currency to US. I understand it was a communication error that was partly my fault, but I found the receptionist to be fairly rude about it. She never apologized for the miscommunication and acted like I was bothering her by asking the question.

Positive experience: I bought membership for the Travel benefits. The Travel Agent did put together a very nice itinerary but there was very little after sale contact or support. Also when I rented a car they did not honor my AAA Discount.

Fantastic experience: I had gotten a piece of mail for an old tenant (I've been here 4+ years) from AAA and I decided to see what the big deal was about. I sent in the application with my c/c number hoping that I could get the "great" deal. I received a call from Angie in the Independence, Ohio office to let me know that I had in fact been offered the deal and she needed additional information from me for who my 2nd free driver for 1 year was. She was helpful with my questions as I have never been a AAA card carrier and she was very personable. I would recommend that office to anyone who was looking to join or otherwise. So thank you Angie for being such a great asset to the AAA Independence office and I'm sure glad you got my application.

Negative experience: They tell me they're going to get to me in 30-45 min. Then 40 min later they send me an automated message saying they won't be here for another hour. I'm 5 miles from their station. There's no one else calling them. They just hire lazy people. I pay for this "service" every month and the one time I use it I end up wasting my time waiting on them when I could have just called a friend to bring me gas. DO NOT BUY TRIPLE A. My whole family has been paying for Triple A for 20+ years and the place is run by unqualified, rude, inexperienced people who don't deserve a job or need new management. 100$ a year for what? A half hearted apology.

Negative experience: Does not even deserve the one star! Was told by the AAA dispatcher in Richfield, Ohio that they had no one available to help me and to call back in the morning. I was approximately one mile from the Cuyahoga County line and was transferred to the Richfield area AAA. Why have AAA, which I have had for 37 years, when they cannot help me when I need it? Call back in the morning??? Seriously???!!!
