Fantastic experience: I had an amazing experience with Climb Kili and cannot recommend them highly enough. Every interaction I had from my initial inquiry through to my trip was handled with extreme care. The trip and trek itself were both incredible - the team at Climb Kili takes care of every detail and truly treats you like family while you are with them. The porters and our lead guide were an incredible team. They worked so hard every second that we were with them to make this a memorable trip and experience. They anticipate and are prepared for any issue no matter how big or small, and prioritize and ensure your safety the entire time. I cannot say enough good things about Climb Kili - I look forward to returning for a safari!

Fantastic experience: Great guides and we all had a good laugh as we trot up the mountain. The team including the porters were so warm, friendly and welcoming. Dastan was very attentive to pick up when one's energy is low. He is often the one to cheer the team. Great effort on logistics, food prep and ensuring we are all safe.

Fantastic experience: Everyone says that climbing Kilimanjaro is a once in a lifetime experience. With that in mind, the tour company who take your there surely have a big impact on how the experience goes?? We went up kili just over a month ago and the amazing memories are as fresh as ever. The Climb Kili team played a big part in that. Manny (Emmanuel) the lead guide was exceptional. He was highly professional while being a calm, friendly influence. Exactly what we needed on a challenging journey. The other guides - Singa, Neto & Eric - all equally great, as were the whole team I could not recommend them highly enough.

Fantastic experience: I cannot recommend Climbkili enough. I travelled solo early March 2025. The team in Tanzania met me at the airport and looked after me for the entire journey. I felt safe and well cared for. Steve the guide and his team of 7 Masanja, Innocent, Ibrahim, Godlisson, Iseaka, John and David were amazing. They carried my belongings, cooked for me and were great company. They were the nicest, accommodating people I’ve ever met and nothing was too much trouble. The food was excellent and the water purified so had no issues with sickness. Steve is medically qualified and gave me a health check everyday. I would wholeheartedly recommend this company. There are many companies out there however, Climbkili is one of the few who have a licence to the higher Kosovo basecamp, which is less crowded and a real advantage on summit night, this takes at least 2 hours off the ascent and descent which you will be grateful for. So if you are serious about climbing Kilimanjaro with a professional company who have a wealth of experience and great teams choose Climbkili

Fantastic experience: Me and two friends did the Machame Route Feb 20-26 2025. From the get-go, I felt we were in good hands. From our pre-hike briefing, transportation from the hotel to and from the mountain, transportation to the airport the day after the climb, getting our rental gear, all came off without a hitch. On the mountain, I can’t say enough about our guides Godlove, Steve, waiter Dale, John and the other porters. Every day they made sure our camp was set up, we were well fed, and any need we had was taken care of. They assisted getting our gear packed up in the morning before hitting the trail, making sure we had adequate gear and water in our daypacks and checked out blood oxygen levels nightly. On the trail our guides kept a pace (Polle, Polle) to make sure we didn’t burn out, and pointed out interesting features along the way. Summit night is extremely challenging, but our guides got us up to the summit and back down in one piece, giving us the encouragement we need the whole way! I honestly don’t know if we’d have done it without them. Overall, I was very impressed with the entire Climb Kili operation, from the pre-trip planning, the logistics of lodging, transportation, etc., and while on the mountain. Communications were clear and frequent. I never felt like I didn’t know what was going on. If you’re planning an adventure to the “Roof of Africa”, highly recommend you go with Climb Kili!!

Fantastic experience: Simply put, I can not say enough wonderful things about the trip as a whole, about our guides & porters, and Climb Kili as well. This was a once in a lifetime trip and I am so lucky to have been able to do this. Truly 5/5. First, the biggest thank you to our guides, Herment, Florian, Godlove, and Libe, they were incredible. Not only did they make sure we summited, but they were constantly checking on us and ALSO giving positive encouragement every step of the way which absolutely helped push us just that little extra. Not only were they wonderful guides, but also wonderful people who taught us about the history and landscape of the mountain as well as teaching us about their culture and language. They made us feel at home in their home. Second, another big thank you to every single one of our porters who were unbelievable. We would not have made it even halfway without them. They were the last to leave camp and first to the next one, and were carrying a HELL of a lot more than we were. And everything was always ready for us when we arrived at the next camp, as well as a huge warm meal. Our chef Justin was amazing and the food reflected that as well. Anyone who can make pizza above 13000 feet knows what they're doing. It was also wonderful to experience many cultural dances and songs with the entire group during our hike and really elevated our experience. Third, the hike itself was simply awe-inspiring. The views and beauty of it are truly indescribable and if you ever have the chance to do this hike, say yes first and figure the rest out later. This experience was so worth it that this is my first time ever writing a review because I feel both the guides, porters, ClimbKili, and the trip itself deserve it. The hardest part of the whole hike (besides the summit) was trying not to stumble because you were too busy looking at every view possible. And, albeit it was cold, stepping outside the tent at night to see the stars was otherwordly. This trip will be a memory that will last a lifetime. Lastly, this wouldn't have been possible without the Climb Kili company. Tiffany was amazing at getting us all set up and squared away before, during, and after our trip. She was on top of it and was able to answer any and all our questions leading into it. Once again, this was a trip of a life time and will forever cherish experiencing The Rooftop of Africa. (P.S. Bring TWO water bottles just in case you lose one before summit night...)

Fantastic experience: Let me start this review by saying that this was not my box to check. My brother came to me with this plan, and it seemed like a cool adventure. ClimbKili had been recommended to my brother by numerous other trekkers on previous trips. Trusting my brother, I booked the trip. From my initial communication, the ClimbKili team was helpful, professional, and well organized. The true ClimbKili magic was revealed when we arrived in Arusha. From the initial introduction, our lead guide, Goodluck (yes, thats his name) built confidence through his briefings, expertise, gear review, professionalism and planning. On the mountain, Goodluck’s professionalism continued to shine. He and his team briefed us multiple times a day, helped with every aspect of the climb, and knew what we needed before we needed it. If you don’t injure yourself or quit, these men will get you to the top of Africa, and have fun doing it. We set out on an adventure without any expectation. While it sounds cliche this was the trip of a lifetime. Thank you Goodluck, Junior, Goodlisten, Ladslaus, Nestory, Mussa, Tiffany, and the rest of the ClimbKili Team

Fantastic experience: Only true experts is who you will have guiding you to the rooftop of Africa. Herment Mosha is a respected leader. Dismiss has been guiding expeditions for 35 years. All the porters and guides are right there whenever you need them. They really work like magic; taking care of you from beginning to end. Truly can't explain how they accomplish everything they do. Food was absolutely amazing.Still can't figure out how the cook pulled all those multi-course meals off. Honestly can't think of anything Herment and the rest of the crew could have done better. These guys can and will get you up this mountain! So grateful to all these men who made this experience possible; really cannot express our gratitude for the enitre crew. These are honest and kind people. They look after your every need. We will never forget our summit to Kilimanjaro- again only made possible by these masters of the mountain. My main suggestion is that clients should do their part to make sure they pay attention to the packing list and instructions from Climbkili. They know what you need, so follow their guidelines. Buying or renting the appropriate clothing, made with the right material and being in shape for this incredible experience is worth every second of the time you put into it. It will elevate and improve your enjoyment. You don't have to be a total athlete or really close to it. But conditioning yourself will help you have more fun during this very active journey. In addition the safari that we booked was another fabulous adventure. Can't give enough props to Gideon, our safari driver. He's seriously the bomb. He is an expert safari guide. Made sure we had an unforgettable experience!

Fantastic experience: Such an awesome time with Climb Kili. My husband and I went with his sister and husband. The crew was so committed to our experience and a successful summit...and that's what we got! Our guides were Amani and Isaya - can't say enough about them. Amani has been up this mountain over 400 times and we all agreed he could run the mountain. :) The rest of the crew was fantastic as well. We miss Baltazari's morning wake up's and Halifa's cooking. My sister-in-law celebrated her 60th birthday and my husband and I celebrated our anniversary while on the mountain and they baked us cakes for both. Above and beyond! Thank you Climb Kili for an unforgettable experience!

Fantastic experience: I don’t even know where to begin on this experience. You might be like how I was a couple months ago, searching through all the companies offering to climb Kilimanjaro and feeling overwhelmed with the options. I cannot emphasize enough having done it now, you can’t find any better than Climb Kili. There was things that I looked for in a company, including being KPAP certified and offering all the oxygen checks / emergency oxygen, which all rang to be true. Additionally, it you listen to anything in this review listen to this - Staying at Kosovo camp on summit night is SUCH an advantage - it cuts off a large steep section that you would have to do with summit and it was just so much nicer to start higher up plus the camp was so peaceful for your last rest before summit! I would also like to mention that all the gear provided, including tents and other stuff I rented (sleeping bag), was of very high quality. Another thing I’d like to mention is how comfortable and safe I felt as a solo female traveller. There were other solo travellers as well, and we all became like a family and team. The small number of people (only having 6 in a group) really allowed us to get to know each other and support one another. Last but certainly not least - a huge thank you to our entire team and guides. I don’t think I can put into words how incredible you were. I started off the hike sick unfortunately, and had to overcome a lot of adversity. I would not have made it up that mountain without you both taking care of me and motivating me. Our head guide - Goodluck - you are EXTRAORDINARY. You went above and beyond to get us up that mountain. And your energy is unmatched! If you can request a guide, request Goodluck and his team. A big shoutout to our other guides, Junior and Goodlisten. Junior, you are so selfless and putting in that extra time and energy to get the team up there. Goodlisten - thanking for your calming energy and always having the best pace !! Pole pole! Also shoutout to our chef, stomach energy, for continuously making delicious food. Fantastic experience: We were able to enjoy a three day safari before our adventure to the summit of Kilimanjaro. The drivers were able to get us to see the Big five on Safari and numerous more animals up close and personal. I couldn’t imagine having a better experience. They sent a wonderful welcome package which detailed everything I needed to know to best prepare for the trip. They were quick to respond to any questions I had. The moment I landed, their representative was at the airport ready to escort me and my daughter to the hotel to begin this life changing adventure. Fantastic experience: Some friends and I climbed Mount Kilimanjaro with Climb Kili. The friend who researched different companies to compare rates and packages made the choice to go with Climb Kili because of the price ratio, and the US contact was very responsive and gave her (my friend) a lot of details that she was worried about. So the selection and booking experience was positive. Then, when flying into Tanzania, Ethiopian Airlines lost our luggage, and the local Climb Kili manager (Rickson) was on the phone multiple times a day with the airport(s) to make sure we would get our gears to the hotel on time... and we did receive it. Big thank you to him! As for the climb itself, our guide (Hermant) and Assistant guides, and the whole crew was fantastic. One of our friend was really struggling to summit the mountain due to health issues, and Hermant and another porter (Ali) were so helpful and physically supportive all the way to the top. These guys were like guardian angels on the mountain. We had a blast, and I would highly recommend.

Fantastic experience: Hiking Kilimanjaro was something I’ve wanted to do for a while now! I am glad that our group chose to go with Climb Kili. They run a very efficient operation and had everything planned out for us. We had a larger group and it was so much fun to become friends with the guides and porters that helped us make it to the top. We definitely could not have done it without them! Fantastic experience: This was an absolutely amazing experience, from start to finish. the company had clear communications from the beginning of the booking process, and everything went as expected. Our lead guide, Herment, was incredible- he regularly checked in our group at every point of the climb, and catered the days to fit how we were doing. The food was better than expected, with multi-course meals for breakfast, lunch, dinner, and plenty of tea and snack breaks. thanks to them, all ten people in our group reached the summit on New Year's Day! I would recommend this group and company over and over again.

Fantastic experience: Climb Kili was beyond excellent. From day 1 of planning until our final goodbyes, everyone was great. I never expected the investment that our guides would take in our success in summiting Kili. They monitored us daily, carried backpacks or gave individual assistant to those that needed extra help along the way. They wanted our success as much as we did. Hermant was our lead guide and was the greatest cheerleader for everyone, climbers and staff alike. A huge shoutout to Godlove (good love), our other guide, who personally helped me summit after I started with altitude sickness at about 18,000ft and continued on the way down until I no longer needed the help. In addition to the guides, our porters were amazing. Other than walking for us, they did everything from setting up camp, cooking amazing food, constant clean water, carrying our extra bags, and so much more. They don’t get enough credit for how awesome they are. You won’t be disappointed with Climb Kili!

Positive experience: Lovely and helpful guides. Great arrangements. Why do I rate it 4/5 then? For the price point (and compared to other operators that charge the same), I’d have expected a bit higher quality hotels (the night before and after the trip). Also the final day was a big disappointment (when you leave the park and they take you to the touristy store). We were stuck there for 2 additional hours as the other van that would take us to the hotel hadn’t arrived yet. And during that time, hardly provided any food (other than fries and some rice). Other tour groups that sat next to us were being fed like royalty. All we wanted was to head back to the hotel to shower but couldn’t as the van hadn’t arrived. So we’re stuck and hungry!

And sacrificed beyond our lofty expectations to insure we made it to the summit and down. We love those guys. Also, the entire team - driver, cook, waiter, latrine duty, and porters were all fantastic! We could not ask for more! The food was surprisingly good. The latrine was always clean. The waiter, Juvi, served with happy enthusiasm throughout. And the porters were amazing. Our camp was always set up in advance. I have nothing but praise for our team and Climb Kili! They were worth every penny and more. We commend them to you without reservation! It was the trip of a lifetime.

Fantastic experience: Our trip was insanely good with climb Kili!!! Our safari guilde victor was one of the best people I’ve ever met and he was so good! Also our guilde good luck, or Mr. 100% for kili was incredible. Without him we wouldn’t have made it to the top as easily. He has a 100% guilde success rate. 10/10!!

Fantastic experience: Climbing Kilimanjaro with Climb Kili was an incredible experience and I would highly recommend climbing with them to anyone looking to embark on this adventure. We were a two person group and did the 7 day Machame route but ended up completing it in 6 days (which was our decision coupled with our guides assessment), with both of us making it to the summit. Our guides, Manny (Emmanuel) and Steve (Stefano) were inspiring, knowledgeable, kind, and instrumental in our trip to the summit. Our team of porters and our cook (Stratton) were also incredible. Stratton cooked better meals on the side of the mountain than I can at home! The tents and sleeping bags were comfortable and warm, the private bathroom tent was a luxury at the campsites, and we were well fed and hydrated throughout our journey - I especially appreciated the warm tea and popcorn snacks everyday! This was one of the best experiences of my life and the preparation, organization, energy and support from the Climb Kili team made it possible!

Fantastic experience: Singing the Praises of Climb Kili ! Review of 8-Day Small-group Lemosho Kilimanjaro Summit Trekking Reviewed 1 week ago Friends of mine that I met doing the Everest Base Camp/Gokyo Lakes Trek in Nepal in November of 2022 offered me the chance to joint them to attempt to summit Mount Kilimanjaro in September of 2024. I distinctly recall saying after Nepal - never again, but immediately said "Hell, yes" to their invitation and contacted Tiffany at Climb Kili, the tour operator my friends had chosen, to get on-board. I found Tiffany to be readily available to answer questions (not sure when she sleeps given some of the time stamps on her responses to my many questions sent to her by email !), and whether I called in, or emailed. I had most of the equipment from what I took to Nepal, so easy-peasey from that point of view and just needed a few things such as a mattress pad (they give you a foam pad, but my old, arthritic bones needed something more !), pee-bottle (who wants to go outside multiple times each night to visit the toilet tent (and yes, you really, really want to go with a company that offers the toilet tent - the outhouses smell from yards away !), and small rechargeable tent light (so you can find that pee bottle in the middle of the night !). Followed essentially the same training regimen as for Nepal, and felt that would be sufficient to see me through. The Mrs. declined to go, but did suggest I go on safari while in Tanzania, so I contacted Tiffany and she set that up for me as well - a 3 day safari where they fly you out to the start and you drive back through the Serengeti, Ngorongoro and Tarangire. Not sure how the Toyota Land Cruisers they use for the safaris survive the pounding they take, but kudos to Toyota and whoever the mechanics are that keep the vehicles roadworthy - no shortage of washboard and pot-holes ! Gideon was the Tour Guide and he was amazing ! Answered all of my many questions, was very willing to talk about the safari, the business side of things, life in Tanzania, and his own life. He got us from park to park safely, and was excellent at divining where the animals were, and putting us in great position to see them. Post-safari, we had a day to prepare our kit, meet with Rick of Climb Kili, and our Head Guide, Raymond, to discuss the trek, take a last shower, and enjoy the comforts of a bed. Bright and early Saturday morning, with great excitement, we set out on our 8-day Lemosho route trek to the summit of Kilimanjaro ! I cannot say enough about our Head Guide, Raymond, our two Assistant Guides, Jackson, and Norbert, Simon (our wonderful cook), and the rest of the Climb Kili crew (22 in number) that supported the six of us as we made our way along the Lemosho route, enjoying not just a full moon, but a "Super Moon" ! Five of the six of us successfully summited Kili (the oldest member of the group, at 74, decided that he had supported his spouse throughout, but the "juice wasn't worth the squeeze" in terms of what it would take from him to summit, so he waited at Kosovo while we went up and back. There were times while slowly making our way up the mountain, starting at midnight, that I wondered if he was the wise one amongst us, but the sense of accomplishment when I made it to the top after 6 hours made it all worthwhile (lets not talk about that over 9,000 feet in quad/knee crushing descent still to be accomplished before we got to Mweka Camp about 6 pm that same day, having been up and mostly on our feet for 18 hours !). Our food was wonderful, our camp sites as good as there was available, the toilet tent was a godsend, and the constant support and encouragement from the Climb Kili crew all combined to make this a very tough, but very rewarding lifetime experience ! Fantastic experience: My recent climb to Mt. Kilimanjaro with Climb Kili was superb. Hement Moshi, our lead guide, along with Lebo and Gabriele, the assistant guides, did an amazing job setting the pace so that we were well acclimated by summit night. They were very attentive to how we were handling the altitude, ensuring that all six of us in our group remained in good health. Because of this care, the great food provided for all meals and the help from all the support staff, all six of us successfully summited the rooftop of Africa in good spirits and good health. Our small group size of 6 was very conducive to an overall positive experience. Additionally, Climb Kili is permitted to use Kosovo as the base camp for summit night which reduces additional altitude gain and mileage compared to starting from Barafu (it makes a difference!). Tiffany from Climb Kili was always very responsive during the booking process and patiently answered all questions on short time. Thank you Climb Kili, Hement, Gabriele, Lebo and crew for making our trek to Mt. Kilimanjaro a very safe and memorable experience.

Fantastic experience: I did the 8 day Lemosho trek followed by 2 days of Safari experience. I was joined by my sister and 4 other amazing people whom I didn’t know until the morning of the hike. The group was well matched and the harmony with which the diverse group of us 6 came together with one goal made the trip that much more memorable. But the credit goes to the climb kili guide and group and the whole organization. Our three principal guides were absolutely amazing. The lead guide Herment was an experienced professional and kind person who was determined to make this trek successful and pleasant for us all. He handled the trek and the rest of the crew with absolute skilled hands and it was obvious he was respected by all and knew how to be the perfect guide for us and the perfect manager for the crew, a great cheerleader who would know how to encourage us when needed, inform us, and make sure of the safety and comfort of everyone. I consider myself so fortunate to have been with him and his crew. The weather was amazing. The hike very doable under the guidance of climb kili crew because the slow progress set us up for success from the very beginning. I am usually an impatient hiker and I know that if I had been allowed to do as I usually do I would have wore myself out and would not have made it. The hike is a steady trek up and it is not for the impatient or the person with little stamina. But absolutely doable. The summit day is the hardest day but I would say the most amazing transformative day. The feeling of accomplishment but more importantly the feeling of self reliance and appreciation of strength of oneself is unparalleled. Of course being off my phone for 8 days was a blessing that doesn’t come by in this day and age. I had it on airplane mode the entire time and the noise in my brain finally stopped and I found myself. As for the guides, they were kind, caring, invested in our success, vigilant, and overall worked so well together that it all looked seamless and effortless. The rest of the crew: amazing. The chef was magnificent with mad skills. The food was great and plenty and contrary to what they kept on saying that one might lose one’s appetite in high altitude, we had no problem gobbling up everything he cooked because it was delicious and plenty. He even had a surprise for me on my birthday! I was floored. The porters and the rest of the staff from the servers, the people who managed the tents and equipment all the way to the cleaners were such amazing professional kind and lovely people I felt like I was being taken care of a family I could have only dreamed of. I am a very self reliant and independent woman, and it was so refreshing to be taken care of so well by a group who seemed to do it out of the goodness of their hearts even though sure this was their job. I would have given three times the amount of tip that was recommended if I was allowed. I cannot emphasize how transformative this hike was for me as a busy 53 year old physician who is very much always in the throws of city life and family obligations. This was the greatest gift I could have given myself on top of the bonus of sharing it with my just as busy sister (so in regular life we have so little time for each other) and having gained a few additional exploring friends who were unknown to me prior to this trip. I am so please and so thankful for the wonderful experience I was given by the climb kili group and I was honestly missing my Tanzanian family the moment I set foot back in LAX! Fantastic experience: Climb Kili created such a special experience for my friends and I. From bottom to top and back again, I felt comfortable and safe around all the Climb Kili crew members. The guides prevented me from falling during the steep and strenuous inclines and declines. The chef accommodated our group’s dietary needs and preferences and we were never hungry or thirsty. The toilet was practically glamping. Despite the challenge, we had an amazing time and it would be extremely difficult to find a better crew than Climb Kili. They have ruined all other tour companies for me.

I’m a beginner hiker and was worried I wouldn’t be able to summit, but with the help of my amazing guide Amani and rest of the crew, I was able to achieve this lifelong goal. Tiffany in the US office was so responsive, even taking time on a weekend to talk through everything with me when I was super nervous before the trek. Being a solo female trekker is intimidating but from the moment I landed I felt like I was completely taken care of, from the driver waiting for me to Rickson at the hotel to the entire Mountain crew. Fantastic experience: My friends and I successfully summited Mt. Kilimanjaro with the wonderful help of the Climb Kili team. There were 9 of us who climbed and we ended up having 4 guides and 26 porters. The team from Climb Kili was great to work with. Guides were very knowledgable and fun to talk to during the climb. Porters did a truly amazing job carrying our luggage and all the camp equipment and food. Every day you arrive to camp with tents set up, toilets ready to go (we had 3 for our group) and a meal being cooked. The guides were great about taking pictures throughout and sending to the Climb Kili team for daily email updates with pictures to family members. The climb itself was tough but very doable for folks who are relatively in shape (we had a 55 and 73 year old summit successfully in our group!). Be sure to get a Diamox prescription as that helped me a lot on the trip up. One of the big advantages of using Climb Kili was their access to the Kosovo camp the night before summit. This camp sits at 16,000 feet vs. Barafu camp which most other groups use which is about 15,300 feet. The advantage is a very non-crowded campsite and 700 feet which you don't have to scale in the middle of the night on summit night. Also - highly recommed doing this climb in 7 vs. 6 days on the Machame route. The 6 day includes another very tough day of climbing that you get to split in 2 on the 7 day route. Overall a great experience with Climb Kili and would highly recommend to any travelers!

From the first time I reached out to them to inquire about their services to the final time the amazing guides (Herment Mosha and Florian) held my hands to help me to the Summit, it was truly memorable. Fantastic experience: We had the most amazing honeymoon thanks to ClimbKili. Our adventure started with the 8 day Lemosho route to the summit of Kilimanjaro. Our lead guide and assistant guide James and Daniel were crucial to our success. They were supportive and always wanted to lend a helping hand even carrying our daypacks at points. The food was delicious served by Baran aka Brian our waiter. We even had a personal shoe cleaner and toilet engineer Manuel. All 3 in our group successfully summited and had a blast along the way. We were always taken care of and felt healthy and safe. It was an experience we’ll never forget. After climbing we did a 3 day safari with Rashid which was equally as amazing! We saw the big five slept in the Serengeti, went down to Ngorongoro crater and saw herds of elephants in Tarangire NP. Our jaws were on the floor the entire time and Rashid was so knowledgeable and a friend by the end. Tiffany was so incredibly helpful while planning. She promptly answered our questions and arranged a hot air balloon safari for us. No ask was too much! We ended our trip in Zanzibar and Climbkili made sure to drop us to the airport and even transfer us from Arusha to JRO on our way back. Everything ran so smoothly and was truly once in a lifetime. And to the rest of the team Halifa, Thomas and Baltazar and sorry I can’t remember all of you, but you know who you are (Amani’s Team of 19)! The attention to detail, the support and excellent guidance from them. Thanks to Rickon who met us with Amani at the hotel before we started to prep us for Day 1. Service was outstanding, hotel staff, food during the climb – amazing, tents, portable washroom tent, even dusting your boots off when you finish trekking at the end of the day! You are prep each evening after dinner for the next day, so you know what to expect. I am truly grateful for the memories we made and the exceptional service we received. I don’t have any more superlatives to give here BUT I say book with confidence! They will not disappoint! You will get to the “Top of Africa!” And request for Amani’s team. Hakuna matata and Asante sana. Safari – Tarangire/Ngorongoro Crater/Manyara National Parks – 1 star Our 3-day Safari was not that great. Didn’t see too many animals, our driver has vehicle issues (battery, doors not opening)and my friend had to open the canopy quite a few times and help carry the lunch bag to the table. I spent quite a bit of time sleeping in the vehicle where we could have maybe had more insights (conversation)than what we got from our driver of the areas we went to or about the country in general. Perhaps it was not the best time to see animals in these areas. Do your research. Thank-you to Rickon for spending time with us after this part of our trip for review. Zanzibar – Kupaga Villas (Adult only boutique hotel) – 5 stars Just a short flight from Kilimanjaro Airport to Zanzibar. A shuttle to this beautiful hotel, as we arrived to the gate and once through, we stepped on white powder sand and picture-perfect view of reception area, pool and beach. Thank-you to Charlotte and staff, truly a relaxing place to be. Service and food were exceptional, very clean too. They can also help book any excursions you want to go on. Climb Kili can arrange a trip to Zanzibar just make a request it’s perfect way to end your trip. I had a wonderful time here. Special thanks to Tiffany for your excellent service and help to plan all of this. You have an exceptional climbing team – bless them!

Fantastic experience: Three of us (plus one additional hiker) completed the 7-day Machame route. Climb Kili, our guides Amani and Dismus along with their incredible crew made this a trip of a lifetime! I will come again with more family members and will insist on the same crew if they are available. You are in incredibly capable, caring hands with Amani and the crew he brings. When we started looking at companies to go with, the task seemed daunting especially when none of our friends had gone before us. I cannot recommend Climb Kili enough....it will be the best choice you can make on this adventure. Climb Kili was phenomenal about communicating, providing timelines, and their preparation book answered any questions you may have. If you still can't find the answer, email and Tiffany will get you an answer quickly. If you find yourself overpacking and the bag is getting a bit heavy, turn to the recommended list of what to bring. We reduced down to that (except a couple extra pairs of socks/underwear) and were dry and warm (well, as warm as could be expected on this hike). Quality vs. quantity is the name of the game. One of our members had issues twice with altitude (we were taking Diamox) the patience, caring, and nurturing nature of Amani and the entire crew was on full display. They adjusted daily plans, took extra breaks, offered expert advice, and were our biggest cheerleaders! Our incredible cook made a special meal for the one member to help get her back on her feet. It was apparent that Amani was invested in our success, cared for us as if we were a part of his family, and smiled like a proud father when we all made the summit! It wasn't a job to Amani, it's a calling, a passion to hike, but more to help those who seek it out to achieve their goal. I personally came to celebrate a birthday and attempt to summit a "bucket list" item. I achieved that but the memories of Amani, Dismus, our incredible crew, and all the people we met in Tanzania will remain with me for all of my days. That impression is a gift that surpasses an 'achievement.' Each and every day along the trail everyone was genuinely happy. Porters from other groups singing while they labored/sweat with their packs/loads from camp to camp. Each member of our crew smiled with ease, whether they were walking around camp or while expertly managing what appeared to me a 'daunting load.' Every day, 'jambo' passed easily between those on the trail and was infectious. The best compliment I could relay is that the 15 year old girl who had issues with the altitude has said multiple times since our return, "I miss the crew on Kili." Amani, please know your kindness and that of your entire crew is now a core memory for someone in a 7-second instagram generation. When making the choice of company, look no further than Climb Kili. The groups are smaller, the food they prepare is excellent (fresh fruit and veggies each meal, along with well prepared items to fuel your journey), their choice to pay the extra and utilize the Kosovo camp was crucial on summit day by not having to rock scramble at midnight over some tougher rocky terrain. Lastly, the people! I haven't utilized another tour group and there is no reason for me to ever look beyond Climb Kili (get Amani and his team). They are the salt of the earth that will make it a journey of a lifetime.

Fantastic experience: My wife and I were looking for an adventure we could do together that would push us physically, but also not be too dangerous. After talking back and forth with Tiffany at ClimbKili, we knew this was our trip. My wife runs a small business so didn’t want to be gone too long. After discussing this, our fitness levels, and previous hiking experience with her, Tiffany helped us decide to try the Machame route in 6 days. Tiffany actually recommended 7 days but we thought we’d push for 6 so we could also fit in the quick safari since it was our first time to Africa. Long story short, we made it and enjoyed a trip of a lifetime! I can’t thank the ClimbKili team enough. EVERYONE from our first contact in Tiffany, to our driver Emanuel who picked us up at the airport, to Ricky who met us at the hotel, to our incredible crew led by our head guide Amani who safely escorted us to our goal of 19,341 feet and back down safely, all the while feeding us great meals every single day and taking care of our every need, was incredibly professional and helpful. Fantastic experience: I had an incredible experience with Climb Kili, this is my second time climbing Mount Kilimanjaro with them. The first time I completed the 8 day Lemosho route (Oct 2023), this time I completed the 7 day Machame route (June 2024). When I booked the Machame routed I contacted Tiffany who was very helpful, the one request I made was if possible I would like the same guides/team as my previous climb. Around 6 weeks before my 2nd climb I found out I had asthma, my doctor gave me the all clear to climb so I then contacted Tiffany to inform her about the change to my medical history. On the Machame route, Emanuel (Head guide), Singer (assistant guide), Juve, Magambo (cook), Ibrahim & Ali where all members of the climb Kili team who were part of my first climb last October, a number of them remembered me. On the way up to Lava tower Singer & I were reminiscing about the last trip and recalling funny things that had been said. From the start of the climb the guides where aware I had asthma and they knew where to find my asthma inhalers in my day pack. On both climbs the head guide checked the whole groups oxygen levels regularly and asked how everyone was feeling. I also knew that I didn’t have to wait for any of the guides to ask me how I was feeling, if I felt unwell or anything I could go to them. On summit night I was carrying my day pack and just over half way up I felt it was starting to slow me down so I mentioned to Emanuel that when we stop for the next short break I was planning to give up/him my day pack, he took the day pack from me straight way, he didn’t let me wait until our next stop. On both climbs I felt safe and well taken care of. All the climb Kili staff were friendly, Magambo’s a great cook. When I got down to the bottom this times, I thought to myself when can I do this again. I had such and enjoyable experience, the climb was by no means easy but I enjoyed the challenge of challenging myself and being cut off from everything else for 7 days. Maybe at some point I will do it again but I need to cross a few other things off my wish list first, if I do decide to do this again I will be contacting Tiffany to do it again with the great team at Climb Kili.

Our guides Herment, Gabriel, Freddie & Florian went above and beyond to help us make it to the summit including breaking our group of 10 up to adjust for different speeds. Our entire team of 33 helped us warm up every morning with a motivational song/prayer and dance… lots of fun! Team was also great about stopping to let us take pics. Everyone was truly knowledgeable and knew what they were doing. I never camped outdoors before, but it wasn’t bad. Camp toilet facilities were way better than I expected! Food was delicious the 1st 3-4 days, but then got tiring. Bring snacks and possibly a jar of Nutella! Would recommend ClimbKili for anyone looking to summit Kili!

Fantastic experience: Overall, I was very happy with Climb Kili — Tiffany was very helpful throughout (before departure), and on the trek, the entire crew was fabulous. I cannot say enough great things about my two guides — Singha and Manny. Both put their heart and soul into ensuring that we (in particular, I) summit. I owe my summit to them — not necessarily for their physical/concrete help (wasn’t much needed), but for their emotional and motivational side. In some sense, that aspect surprised me — they take their job (of ensuring summit) most seriously and the right way. The rest of the crew was wonderful too, particularly how they welcomed us every day with the beautiful folk song. Summiting from Kosova high camp is very helpful! However, I must add a couple of minor disappointments too (which may matter to some). First, the transport car to/from airport wasn’t AC. Secondly, even though the guides assured me that knew very well how to handle all emergencies, I would have still liked the guides to have a satellite phone (maybe, they know better and it’s not needed).

Our climbing crew was the best... really they are. Our crew was well clothed with good equipment and gear. That means a LOT when you are on the mountain. It is good to see that they take good care of their guides and porters. Fantastic experience: I don’t always write reviews but I really wanted to make sure I wrote one for Climb Kili. In January, I climbed Kilimanjaro via the 8 day Lemosho route. We had the most incredible guides (Herment, Florian, and Omar) I felt very safe and looked after on the entire trek. They always went above and beyond to ensure we were having the best experience, and checked our oxygen levels daily to ensure we were in good health to continue in higher altitudes. The chef and all the porters and rest of the crew were amazing also. The food was WAY better than I thought it would be! They did so much behind the scenes work, and were all so kind and caring. I would absolutely recommend this company to climb Kilimanjaro with. They are a very organized, well-run company with excellent staff. I was overwhelmed when trying to decide who to book with and I am very glad I made the decision to go with Climb Kili!

Fantastic experience: I climbed Kili with Climb Kili in 2017 and it remains one of my great experiences. People in my group had a wide variety of experience with respect to hiking, and Climb Kili was able to accommodate everyone without compromising anyone's overall experience of the climb. There are a lot of tour companies out there and it can be difficult to select a guide service. I would definitely climb with Climb Kili again without question. From the skilled and knowledgeable guides, to the attentive porters, to the good food, and private toilet tent (not everyone had them when I went; you really, really want this) it was a 5-star experience.

Fantastic experience: We had an unforgetable experience with Climb Kili, it was amazing! The hotel was super, staff were incredibly helpful and friendly and the food was great! Our guide staff and porters were first rate, we so enjoyed our time with them, they took amazing care of us all the way, Mekson and Evans made the trek fun and were full of great information! Gaston made great food, Manuel (Bonge) was especially great as well as Steven, Chula, Frankie, Francis, Edward, Job and Ernest all were so good to us! After our Trek we went on Safari and it was better than anticipated, wish I would have booked a longer stay! All in all I have told all my friends and highly recommend Climb Kili for your next adventure!!

Fantastic experience: My experience with Climb Kili was top notch. As a single female traveler, I was added to a group for the adventure. We all bonded quickly with each other, the guides and the porters. Everyone was wonderful and so kind. The food was really amazing and plentiful. Climb Kili also arranged for me to have a solo, two day safari. Again, the guide was personable and knowledgeable and a lot of fun. It was my first time traveling internationally, but definitely will not be the last.

Fantastic experience: We had a great trip with Climb Kili. The guides were top notch and the support crew were friendly and fun. It's amazing how quickly they can move up the trail with those heavy loads. Everything went smoothly from getting picked up from the airport, to the hotel, the climb, the return and a 3 day Safari. We did the Northern Circuit route and we all made it to the summit. One in our party was having some minor altitude related symptoms on summit day. The guides evaluated him and were able to safely get him to the summit. He felt much better once he started to descend. The Safari guide was also really great. We saw so many animals, it was incredible. The guide got us back on time to catch my ride to the airport. I highly recommend Climb Kili!

Fantastic experience: Summiting Kilimanjaro was a great experience. Climb Kili does an amazing job! Picked us up/dropped us off at the airport, great hotel stay and staff, amazing meals and hospitality out on the trails, great hiking and summit experience on the 8 day Lemosho route, and awesome Safari where we saw all of the African Big 5! Our guides James (007), Seraphim, and Armani paced us so well and encouraged us along the way to the very top and back! Climb Kili went far beyond our expectations and I would recommend them to anyone!

Fantastic experience: From start to finish, my interactions with Climb Kili were always positive and helpful. Tiffany was quick to reply with answers to my questions. We did the eight day Lemosho trek to increase our chances of a successful summit and everyone did! Our guide, Manny, was very good at communicating to us exactly what to expect and how to be fully prepared. In Manny We Trust became our motto when it came down to small things that made a big difference such as what kind of clothing to wear each day to recommending spikes on our shoes for certain sections of the climb. The support staff was friendly and helpful and they worked so hard to make sure we had the experience of a lifetime.

Fantastic experience: I completed my dream of reaching the summit of Mount Kilimanjaro on New Year’s Day, and could not be happier with our company, Climb Kili. From the very first day when I called in and spoke to Tiffany, she put my concerns at ease and made me so excited for the trip! Everything was handled perfectly from the airport, to the hotel to the entire logistics of the climb, I can’t believe what an army it takes and how smoothly everything went. Our guide Raymond was patient, knowledgeable and a lifesaver on summit night, even helping me with my backpack for a few hours when I was tired. Fantastic experience: Are you hunting for a tour company and overwhelmed by options!? LOOK NO FURTHER. Climb Kili is the best there is. They’ve got it all— and do so with lots of heart. My dad and I opted for this company after doing some reading and we were very pleased right from the get-go. Communication with Tiffany at HQ was a breeze— she’s well organized and very kind. We chose the 8 day Lemosho route and were beyond glad that we did. The longer route allowed for a relaxed experience, more time enjoying the mountain, and deeper connections with our crew and fellow hikers. Plus those extra acclimatization days don’t hurt! Veda and Steve were the BEST leaders. Their ability to assess our needs before we even knew what they were blew us away. We felt supported, encouraged, and safe. Their crew was made up of some of the kindest men I have ever met and we all shed tears when it came time to part ways. Special shout outs to Bonge for his amazing hospitality, Johnny for his spirit, and Devis the chef who made the best soups I have ever had. Fantastic experience: One of the best experiences in our lives - summiting Mt. Kilimanjaro. My wife and I did the 7-day Machame route through Climb Kili. The crew was fantastic !! The guide, the assistant guides, the cook, the waiter and all the other porters were extremely friendly and so helpful. We could not have done this without the support and encouragement by the ClimbKili crew. I strongly recommend Climb Kili for doing any of the different Kili routes. If I were to do this all over again, I would go with ClimbKili once again.
