Negative experience: My mother has been a long time customer of bobbies travel. Today she called to book a round trip flight from NY to Grenada. The woman she spoke with quoted the trip at $520 with JetBlue and said she’d need to pay via zelle. I’m paying for the trip and didn’t feel comfortable with submitting a payment via zelle for a flight. I said that I would book the flight myself. So I searched JetBlues site and saw that the round trip with basic blue was $370 and one tier up would be $460. I was genuinely confused about the $520 quote and the payment needing to be submitted via zelle so I had her call bobbies back. The person she spoke with noted that’s how they accept payment and that they don’t work with Expedia to get lower rates. My mom corrected her and said that we booked directly through jetblue and wanted to know why their price was so much higher. She didn’t have an answer. This was bothering me all day because my mom has been booking with bobbies for years so I called them to dig into this more. I spoke with a gentleman and detailed the above. He then asked me for the dates so he could search for himself. The price he quoted was $460 and said they don’t offer the basic blue pricing as that ticket is non refundable and doesn’t include a carryon. I booked the basic blue for my mother because neither of these options were a priority for her when booking the flight. This was absurd to me as not only did the previous person not explain this to my mother but she also had a price quoted at $60 above the $460 tier two price. Where did that amount come from and who pays a travel agency via zelle?!!?!!? This felt very underhanded and sneaky. The gentleman was slightly cutting me off as I was speaking and said his agent quoted the wrong price and it’s good that I found a cheaper price. Beware that this agency is not transparent about pricing, payment policies or options when booking. Communication is rushed, unprofessional and sneaky. All of this could have been avoided with accountability and transparency. Shame.

Negative experience: The worse travel agent I have ever deal with, I booked a round trip ticket and asked to pay for it the same time I was told , I’ll call you back in a few mins for the payment. After 2 hours no call so I called back the guy said he will call me the next day I was home all day I even gave him my cell number when I called back he said the ticket was canceled and claimed he called me like if I’m stupid I have caller ID in both phone so I guess he sold the ticket for money. Telling other people about what happen they had the same experience with Bobby’s travel . Please people save yourself from stress and book your ticket somewhere else. Worse business people i have ever deal with.

Negative experience: Worse experience ever. The staff, one in particular, was extremely rude and lacked customer service experience. She clearly does not know how to multitask. I suggest you use the guy that sits by the door or the women that sits all the way to the end. You can't miss this rude and arrogant person -- she has on a pound and a half of make-up, and is extremely, extremely slow. I do not recommend using them if you are college educated -- you're better off using more classier service where professionalism and customer service relationship are their utmost priority.
