Negative experience: AAA Is a non for profit and has now changed policies of only 2 people can ride with the tow truck well on a road trip in the middle of nowhere I was told this my wife and 2 of my kids would have to seek another ride there is no Uber lo lift or taxi here so I will be cancelling my membership ship and to think I use to tell people to get AAA over the others. Not no more I will now pay. My insurance company to tow my cars and thank God my trip I booked with AAA is fully refundable. Cause I am cancelling that also
Negative experience: Scam. You pay a membership and they try 1 to 3 times not to show up. Gaslight and harassment .
Negative experience: No one answered my call. Phone just rang. IRL for a contest in their magazine doesn’t work. Just hope I never need to call for roadside service with this kind of customer support.

Positive experience: Stopped here to get an international driving permit. The process took all of about 20mins, and that's because I left my application and had to fill out another one.
Negative experience: This review speaks on behalf of Aaa and this particular location, but I have had a bad experience with every location I have ever called and the worst of all was with Corpo customer service! I have had to call seven times to get updates on my policy and every time they have told me they will call me back. They took my payment as scheduled, but there’s a problem with my policy and they’re supposed to be fixing it and as I said, it’s been over 2 1/2 weeks Every single time I have called them. I have either wasted 30 to 45 minutes trying to find a store that had somebody to answer the phone or been told they will call me back and have not and by the way the money you pay for AAA roadside the membership fee. It’s a scam. Be prepared to sit on the side of the road for at least six hours I have had to use it on three different occasions and they have always been late and at least six hours
Negative experience: I wish I had paid attention to the negative reviews here. I foolishly was a loyal customer for 8.5 years, during which time I have given AAA Texas over $20,000 for auto insurance and their highest tier of roadside assistance. I have made zero claims, called for one tow the first year I had coverage, and have auto-paid every bill on time. After needing to make my first claim ever yesterday (a relatively low-cost no-fault car damage), I was told that they canceled my insurance coverage without ever telling me. "We sent you a letter back in March" they said. I am enrolled in paperless, and they are sure quick to send me emails every month asking for the money that is then auto-deposited into their account that same day. The reason? "Your driver's license on file expired in 2022." So they were willing to insure me for two full years on what they thought was an expired license, never once calling or emailing about it, sending one piece of mail that likely looked like junk mail and was thrown out. My license is current, ticket-free, and in my possession. I spent hours on the phone with sassy agents who repeated canned lines and promised to call me back but never did. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY, NO MATTER WHAT. They will take your money and never help you out in your time of need. There is nothing to be "loyal" to. They are awful.
Fantastic experience: I can't tell you his name but he came to Arlington TX to pick up my pt curser and he was absolutely awesome, great customer service and very friendly and patient, handled my car with the upmost care and respect!! So thank you so much,
Negative experience: I am a AAA member and have been for 29 years. I have used the service probably 5 times in that time. I called today because I backed a utility trailer off my driveway. I had it loaded with rocks for my flower bed. I needed a tow out of the ditch. They informed me that because I had rocks in the trailer, it wasn't covered. If I would shovel the rocks out, it would be covered. If it had a motorcycle or jet ski or some recreation type machine it would be covered. The outside temperature is 101 degrees. I am almost 80 years old. I don't want to overheat and have a stroke. Therefore I cancelled my membership, and I would recommend you or anyone reading this to cancel or not renew their coverage. Check with your auto insurance. It is available and it is cheaper for the same and maybe more coverage. They really don't care about the customer, only the premiums you pay. This was one company I thought was reliable. Wrong!!!!!
Fantastic experience: We have always had good service from AAA. Been a member since 1983.
Negative experience: AAA sent Jacob Page from Page Automotive LLC to give me a jump start, this guy came out and stated going through my car without permission. I was shocked. This guy had the worst attitude and was angry at the world. I asked him to leave my property immediately and he started to refuse starts throwing vulgar insults at me. I've never dealt with anyone more professional. I had to escort this guy off my property. AAA did not care about the way he treated me and did nothing about it. Stay away from Jacob Page and Page Automotive.

Negative experience: My insurance agent is awful. Have been requesting information from my agent but never get a response or reply. Was in several situations when I needed my insurance policy and wasn’t able to access it. Will be looking for an insurance policy else where
Negative experience: Worst customer service. It's a 50/50 chance you get told the something that matches what you were told the first time you called. You will be "recommended" into not canceling and then they will change you when you didn't cancel on time. Even the corporate office will state that they will be MAILING a bill instead they take it out of your bank account. Also forget about privacy, if you set a password phrase on your account no body will ever ask for it. They will also call others with a close enough name to make changes and release your information. This isn't a one bad employee this is a bad company.
Negative experience: This location/their upline are very crooked; after loosing my home to a fire Dec 31, 2022 these people have conveniently lost all recordings/pictures/electronic files relating to my home owner's insurance that supports my having a current insurance policy, but had the nerve to ask if I would like to start a new one. All I can do is cry and pray for them and that they/their family will EVER go through what they are sending me/family through!!!!
Negative experience: Library patron was left stranded in our parking lot. He put in a call at 6:30 p.m. and has waited 4 hours. They kept telling him an hour wait time. He would call back after an hour only to be told that he had to wait another hour.
Positive experience: Arrived at the office just before closing time and an employee took care of our needs.

Positive experience: Strike one the lady at the desk on the left looked at us so meanly because we came in 15 minutes before they closed. We were out of there within 8 minutes. Strike two the lady who notarized documents for us wasn't experienced it just isn't great at it. She signed in the wrong spot crossed it off and initialed it then used the wrong color ink. Our paperwork was rejected because of her not being on top of things.
Negative experience: We have had AAA for the past 6 years. We decided to drop them because it started to get to expensive and they were not willing to give discounts.

Negative experience: If I could give a lower review, I would. AAA cancelled my policy without asking or informing me of the decision. (I believe it was a simple mistake when I went to bundle renters with auto) but the cancelation for my auto was that day. This could have been a simple mistake with a simple fix of reestablishing my policy. However, when I noticed the error and went back to AAA, since I had been a loyal customer for over 6 years, they told me that I needed to pay the lapse in coverage fee: 50 dollars a month for a year on top of full coverage insurance. When I tried to dispute it, they never once took accountability for their mistake, and told me that I would need to pay the Lapse in Coverage Fee, regardless of who's fault it is. So I cancelled my policy. The agent told me that since it was my first year with AAA, there would be a cancelation fee, which she said she's seen between 20 and 60 dollars. I was I little upset because it was their fault for the lapse in coverage, then they wanted me to pay for the cancelation, but 20 to 60 bucks seemed doable to make the problem go away. What they actually charged me was 265 dollars to cancel. This was totally unjustified since it all started with their mistake! So I called AAA repeatedly and told them that this was not okay, and that I was unwilling to pay this because it was their error. Well, I just got off the phone with collections. This company does not care at all about the customer. So when considering AAA for your insurance needs, do yourself a favor, and dont.

Fantastic experience: I needed to go in to the AAA office to renew my membership today. They were strictly following COVID protections guidelines, which was comforting. The clerk was very efficient and helpful. She asked if I did needed any maps or guidebooks, I assured her that I did not at this time, but would when the COVID situation was resolved.
Negative experience: Worst service. I have been paying my membership for no type of service. I gave it 2 trys and they did the same thing over and over. First time I called at 11:00 PM requesting a tow and They kept telling me they were on the way so I waited and waited until 7:30 AM mind you I kept calling them every hour and they kept giving me the same answer!! At 7:30 finally a lady with more common sense told me they were not finding a tow truck that is why noone was showing up. ! I ended up canceling and paying out of pocket for a truck. Today they did the same thing they have been having me waiting for 3 hours saying someone is on the way and then saying they are looking for a different one I would NOT recomend this service to anyone!
Fantastic experience: Always have the best assistance from AAA . From maps and trip tics with best fillup stops and construction it was just like Google maps on paper before cellular service. Stamped and highlighted by a real person. To gas when stranded, tire repair in my driveway, and those tows when everything goes stupid and the reliable vehicle is not so reliable anymore. Negative experience: Gabriel is not professional at all. Disrespected my dad and was not able to help. Rarely do I ever leave a review but it had to be done. If you are looking to be disrespected you are at the right place. If I can do zero stars I will!
Negative experience: Tried posting my horrible experience twice and the screen keeps clearing. Your claims process is scary and horrible. Takes forever and a day to get correct insurance cards. Employees don't care and Supervisors unresponsive. Getting new insurance quick!!!

Fantastic experience: I was in a situation where my family and I were stranded due to car not starting. Demetrius Robinson was the agent that came and started our vehicle that got us back on the road. We were forever grateful. It was very cold outside and we were happy to be on our way.

Negative experience: I have been member of aaa for more than 10 years. Now I'm not going to renew next year. I get the emails of insurance cancellation letter almost every month even though there is no problem with my insurance currently. It all started from the mistake of an agent in this office. I have to call aaa every time when I get this email to make sure my insurance is ok. I got another one last night and I'm going to call them again today. Don't visit this office. You will get email spam. Just call aaa if you want to record the conversation between you and agent.

Negative experience: We have had AAA Texas for 4 years. We paid extra for the Premier RV services. In the 4 years we have had this service we have called them twice for a flat tire on our RV. Both times they sent out someone who could not change a tire on the RV. This last time we were stuck on the side of the Interstate when the AAA person pulls up, looks at our RV and says “I can’t change that tire.” He then gets in his truck and drives away. We had been waiting over 2 hours. I immediately called AAA back and they said “oh we will send someone else out.” My husband ended up changing the tire with the help of a Duncanville Police Officer. I called AAA back to let them know we got the tire changed and asked to speak to a supervisor. I was told one would call me back! I am still waiting to hear from a supervisor! Fool me once shame on you, fool me twice shame on me! There will not be a third time! Worst service ever! I will never use AAA or recommend them to anyone!

Fantastic experience: Hey i had some issues starting up and was a little sketcky with the communication at first. But after it was all said and done, Jennifer and Donovan got everything squared away. I would recoomend these guys to anyone. Those two definitely deserve a raise

Negative experience: I attempted to arrange for roadside assistance this morning, 12-4-2016. All agencies listed on my laptop screen show (NOT OPEN), even though the top entry on their web site says 7/24. I will call Monday and advise that I won't be renewing my membership in March 2017.
Negative experience: I also have had a bad time with AAA. First off I was offered a thermos and a gift card when I signed up with AAA in February. I called them in July to let them know that I have not received my thermos and gift card. They said they submitted the request and it will take 10 weeks to receive it. It's November and still nothing. Secondly I called AAA today at 7:09pm requesting a tow truck to tow my car home. They said it will be "Fort Worth Towing" and they should get there within the hour. I called AAA back 30 minutes later because I had not heard anything from anyone. They said Fort Worth Towing had not dispatched anyone yet to tow my car because they were attending other calls. Around 8pm I get a call stating the tow truck is on its way, and can take up to another hour for the tow truck to arrive. I called at 8:36pm to check on the tow truck. AAA was not aware of the whereabouts of the tow truck. I was supposed to get a call back about the tow truck, but that never happened. I called back to complaint at 8:46pm. On the call the expected time of arrival had been extended yet again. I had to tie a chain to the back of a truck to tow my own car. Really this is pathetic. I'm a plus member for AAA, and I ended up towing my own car.
