Negative experience: Ive had AAA for years. Never had issues they’ve always been great. Tonight, that was not the case. My wife locked her keys in her car at her work. She is a member as well. I called AAA to have service person come unlock her car. The woman who answered was rude. She also put my wife’s phone number in incorrectly as well as telling me an incorrect estimate time of arrival. My wife was outside in the snow. I call back because my wife’s phone was dying and I wanted to give my number as a secondary in case they couldn’t get ahold of her. The lady I speak with this time tells me that if I put my number down as a secondary it’s going to be a second service call on my account. I asked her to please explain how that is possible and she basically talked in circles until she put me on hold to “go talk to a supervisor “. She comes back and continues to talk in circles and I tell her how ridiculous it is that I’ve been on the phone for 15 minutes just trying to give a backup number. I tell her that I am upset with the way I have been treated today by her and the prior woman from the first call and I tell her my wife is outside in the cold and snow for what was supposed to be a 40 minute wait time but is now an hour and 45 minute wait time and she literally laughed at me. I hang up with her and get a phone call 30 minutes later from AAA representative stating he has been trying to get ahold of my wife but she isn’t answering. I tell him the whole story and he states that oh I’m sorry I have her number written down wrong. (After I gave the correct number) This was a complete disaster on AAA. I pay a lot of money and have for years to be a premier member. I am pissed.

Negative experience: CHECK TRUST PILOT reviews. Most people get AAA for the towing. Peace of mind if you break down on a long trip. You would expect that someone would be there to help within 30-45 minutes… certainly no longer than an hour, right? Especially if your family is stranded on the interstate near a large city. Apparently AAA doesn’t share this thought process. I have needed a tow 2 times over the last couple of years and both times took around 3 HOURS for a truck to show up. Keep in mind this is after the app and customer service gave multiple false time estimates. This service is garbage. I will be canceling and spreading the word.

Fantastic experience: The lady that worked with me was very kind n patient with my triptik! It was a little hard to find. Bigger signage would have helped. All around great experience!

Negative experience: Called to talk to someone about getting a 3 day base ticket for Disney not the promotion that was going on that I am attempting to get online. Just wanted confirmation that the base ticket can be used for the same park twice just as if I was to purchase directly from Disney. When on the phone I could barely understand him through his mumbling, and when I asked to be transferred to someone who understood the question I was exactly asking he said I’m looking at it right at it with an attitude but kept referring to the promotion and not what I was asking. Sir I’m just trying to confirm before buying the ticket so my daughter can enjoy her 1st birthday with her grandparents. 10/10 don’t recommend calling as the costumer service is terrible on the phone.

Fantastic experience: This is my second visit to the AAA office. Both times I’ve been greeted and helped by the nicest kindest people.

Fantastic experience: Went in for a international drivers license. Took my photo at AAA. Everything was ready in under 20 mins.

Negative experience: TERRIBLE. planning trip to Portland ,ME became trip to Portland, OR. I noticed the error in time, then had to redo the entire plan. Assigning seats was haphazard. We had better options on website of airline. I will not be using AAA to plan a trip again.

Fantastic experience: Best Passport Photo Ever! Laura was most patient and skilled in shooting just the right picture for our passport renewal. She was also kind enough to look over the renewal form to ensure we'd done it properly. Well done and Thank You so much!

Negative experience: Absolutely absurdly terrible customer service. I was hung up on 3x while just waiting for an insurance ID Card. They almost ruined my car deal at the dealership I was at. I called 3 different customer service numbers, none of which worked correctly. Stay away from AAA. They are a joke.

Positive experience: Made a special trip to stop by for open house and sigh up for gift drawing. They only had cookies and water. They recommended going to the other office across town. Sort of a let down. One of use while there did get a passport photo taken while there.

Negative experience: This company takes advantage of older people. They have stolen thousands from my mother and put her through so much. I can't wait until the news gets a hold of the story. Update gave all the information to AAA as requested and noone has reached out. The fake cookie cutter response on Google review is to only make them look better.

Negative experience: I had been a AAA member for 20 years and my name was the primary name on the account. AAA gave my membership account to someone else who stole my account. AAA did not consult me on this. They did not refund my money for the membership that I paid for. They wouldn't help me get it corrected at all and wouldn't return my phone calls. They lied and said that they would do return phone calls, send me a check and other actions to get it corrected but it was all lies. The people that I dealt with were at the Palomar office. Is this how they treat a long time member. I'm going with a different roadside. On top of that, I had to wait for tow service for 6 hours. So what good is it?

Positive experience: We have been AAA members for several years and have always appreciated the level of service received. The roadside assistance has always been excellent. We just recently took an extended trip and requested a Triptik. The current format is not as user-friendly as the former type. Print is smaller, maps are not as coordinated and found some of the directions very confusing. At this point, we will most likely rely on our phone and vehicle navigational system. We do like the tour book ratings for restaurants and lodging.

Positive experience: Every helpful and nice. They need to trip back the trees and bushes so you can see the sign for the place.

Fantastic experience: Aaron came to rescue with a flat tire- discovered after work no less - and was so nice, calm & professional! He even followed me to the tire store to make sure I got there ok. Definitely give him recognition for doing a super job!!

Negative experience: I have been trying to reach both location hamburg and Palomar for last 3 days. Tried multiple times. No one picks the call. I am on phone for hours and no person to talk with. Very worst service. I will not renew my membership next time.

Negative experience: The agents here are very passive once you God forbid have an accident. Really? every time you call and have a question they will connect you to the ridiculous claim department who are very unfriendly and talk very suspicious to you as if you are a thief. I was hit. I had no fault . I am not the guilty guy. Go else where because I am leaving after I get this mess straightened out. its been a month since my accident. I am driving around with a taped up car like a hobo for a month and they have sent an adjuster who looks at my car and says they will pay for used parts to fix the door. I WAS HIT. I HAVE FULL COVERAGE..Never again AAA never again. I will cancel my road assistance with you too. Id rather be stuck somewhere than to pay thieves like you to treat me like a theif

Fantastic experience: Had an absolutely wonderful time today meeting with AJ and Jeni to adjust our policies. We could not be more pleased by the level of awesomeness that these two carry with them. All prior dealings have been via phone and email. To finally have the opportunity for a face to face was great. The knowledge, expertise, and competence is clearly visible. I am so happy we went with AAA for our home, landlord, and auto insurance. We could not have wished for a greater agent. Thank you AAA for exceeding our expectations and being the best insurance company ever! I highly recommend anyone in the market for an insurance provider check out AAA via AJ Daugherty; you will not be disappointed. It would behoove everyone who has coverage with any other company to call and see what they may be missing. You are sure to receive the level of personal communication one usually only finds in small/local business. To sum it up, although AAA is a major organization you are provided with the welcome and feel of family by the individuals who represent the local area. I am smitten.

Fantastic experience: I have gotten TRIP Ticks there in the past and I have my insurance there too but, until recently, I had never thought about booking my latest cruise with AAA. Wow! The travel agency side of this Palomar location is top-notch. The agents in the travel department are true professionals- when my agent was not there the day I dropped back by, the other agents helped me and went out of their way to get my questions answered- a real team effort. I will be using them again and their services cost no more than if I had booked the cruise online!
