Fantastic experience: Walter was thorough (Arl Hts.) I changed 2 autos and home policy to AAA. Saved 400 on home policy alone! Took it away from state "pharm" cuz they completely panned paying a small claim on an older car... That insurance company is NOT as it was in the past. They are LAME.... thnx Walter

Negative experience: BORDERLINE FRAUDULENT AND POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE AAA gave me the old bait, switch, and hook. Signed me up. I signed up for homeowners insurance they gave me a price. Then a few months into the term of the policy they send me a $197 bill with no explanation why. Called to get answers why and found customer service, billing, website, mobile app, and overall policy sign up process is bad. Had to call them several times to get an answer on why and how to get my questions addressed. Their agents were not helpful and did not get back to me with answers as they promised they would do. DO NOT SIGN UP WITH THEM!

Fantastic experience: This is an excellent location. In and out inside of 10 mins to update my IDP. The staff is friendly, personable, and efficient. Other AAA locations could and should learn from this location as they do AAA right.

Fantastic experience: I came in to get an international drivers lisence. It was 25 dollars. You need to bring 2 passport photos, your driver lisence and you are good to go. Fast and very friendly. The most I waited was 10 min. If you dont have a passport photo they take it there for you for an extra cost. No appointmenr needed. Walk in and ur set.

Fantastic experience: This place was super busy on a weekday evening, with about 14 people waiting, in the smallish waiting area. Some were there for passport photos and others were getting international drivers licenses. There were not enough chairs and the young men that were sitting, were obviously not taught to give an old, gray haired woman their seat so I stood for about 20 minutes. The people that work here could not have been nicer and were efficient.

Negative experience: Just don’t…. Our agent is always arrogant and rude, to the point that i rather waited on hold with their general customer service number for 30 minutes every time i got (yet another) unexpected charge on my card and wanted to ask what it was about “this time” since we’ve been there for years with 0 accidents or any other issues. Nobody knows what they’re doing, very unprofessional and disorganized and again, RUDE. Never ever again, taking all my 4 cars and moving business elsewhere.

Negative experience: Somehow longer waits and less efficient than a DMV…. saw a guy wait 2 hours for International Drivers Permit. I’m still in line here. One guy working and 4 in the back doing nothing

Negative experience: What is wrong with this travel agent? Barbra has helped us with 2, other trips and it was a great experience but I call today to see if I can book a cruise trip to Grease and she was so rude! She said she didn’t have the time to set up a last minute trip she said call back next year or go to Skokie I live near Wauconda illinois ! Nope Going to different Agency! I wasn’t planning to go next week! Barbra

Negative experience: I wouldn't use AAA for anything they just lie about what time they are coming and come up with excuses for a long delays. Your best bet would be to call the village that your broken down in and ask them what towing company that they use for towing or roadside service. They have to be able to get to the calls really quick otherwise they lose the contract with the village or state then submit it to your insurance for reimbursement if you have tow coverage on your policy...

Fantastic experience: Visited to get an international driver's permit. Lisa was very helpful, friendly, and efficient. She was able to take the picture and issue the permit within minutes.

Negative experience: The old short haired women in this location will get aggressive and extremely rude if you refuse her stupid AAA insurance membership. I Insisted that my car insurance already has roadside assistance and other benefits (including discounts) and therefore this membership was not needed. But, in her response (in her condescending attitude) I was comparing GREEN color to RED color!! Just avoid her and you wont have to deal with her unpleasant presence. FYI My car insurance covers rentals too old hag.

Fantastic experience: All of our property and cars are insured through Triple AAA. Just had damages to my car and Triple AAA make it easy to get the claim process started and completed. Cars is as good as new. 100% recommend.

Negative experience: Been waiting since July for a reimbursement check for towing. My AAA insurance and road assistance bills make it to my address just fine. But waiting for Six months and several attempts at sending it is unacceptable.

Fantastic experience: Very helpful. I got a flat right after a snow storm. My AAA driver had to tow me here. Even though they were very busy trying to clean up after the storm, they got me in and out in 45 min. It only cost me $50 to repair the tire. Would highly recommend.

Negative experience: I previously had AAA in California for 9 years with minimal problems. AAA here for just a few months led to a 4 day lapse in coverage due to their extremely lazy failure to reach out and let me know there was an issue with the auto pay. I'm going to be paying higher rates for the next 5 years because of this. Thanks a lot >:(

Negative experience: As a first time homeowner, we were relying heavily on Joe Ziaj to be our expert on recommendations and understanding both our appraisal and home layout, all information required for Joe and AAA to provide us our home insurance policy. It was painfully evident, that not only was our information not properly reviewed, but Joe did not make one phone call to us to review our new policy and let us know what was included/excluded. Due to this, within 9 months of owning our house, the basement flooded. Our sump pump failed, along with the battery backup, so roughly 2 ft. of water filled our crawl space, flooding into our lower level. We immediately put a claim into AAA, who informed us that we did not have coverage. I was beyond shocked so we tried calling Joe. We were told he was unavailable until the later afternoon so this caused even more concern as we were scrambling to stop more water coming in. As we looked closely, it turns out we never had the coverage for water backup. I'm sure you could imagine our frustration seeing this as we expected our insurance agent to at a minimum, tell us we were not going to have this coverage. Joe did finally get back to us around 530 PM, so well into the day of dealing with the issues. Our conversation became very heated, as Joe did disclose "I have to have this conversation all the time with my clients, there is nothing I can do". Joe, if you have this conversation all the time with your clients, maybe you should have a conversation with them then about prevention and protection rather than not doing your job and never having a discussion on what their policy is. Fast forward to today, where we are still recouping and finishing up the re-build of our basement. Everything has had to be out of pocket, costing us $15k+ and we still need to put in our carpeting. I am ashamed I have to write this review, but I hope those that are considering AAA or specifically Joe for their agent, please re-consider.
