Positive experience: This was my husband's and I first time traveling to Jamaica for his birthday. We stayed at the Ocean Eden Bay resort it was absolutely beautiful, staff was pleasant, food and drinks were on point. We will most definitely plan another trip and stay here Only downside was that upon arrival to the airport at 3 we was supposed to have Club Mobay unfortunately it wasn't locked in so we had to go threw the whole Immigration process as well as fill out the C5 forms which we were told we didn't need. After all said and done we finally got to our resort around 645!

Fantastic experience: I’ve been working with Valerie for about 6 years now. I was referred to her by a co worker and I’ve been working with her and recommending her to friends and family ever since. Valerie is very knowledgeable, pleasant, timely, she communicates well and she always gets the job done when I’m looking for quotes or recommendations for resorts at specific destinations. If you are looking for assistance with travel give her a call. The second part of this review doesn’t reflect on Valerie or Seven Seas Travel at all I did book the trip with Valerie, but she was very apologetic about our experience at Barcelo Maya Caribe and wanted me to share this experience here so people will see this review and not choose to stay here. I visited this resort with my mom and my son for a trip for a family birthday trip and it was horrible. If you want a detailed review please see my google review on their actual page Barceló Maya Caribe. The only good thing about this resort was that it was absolutely beautiful the pools and the grounds were beautiful and well kept and the beach was breathtaking, now with that being said this was the worst all inclusive resort I’ve ever been to and I’ve been to quite a few to compare it to. It should not be called all inclusive because nothing was included but the watered down alcohol (I had 6 shots of tequila and didn’t feel a thing and I only a social drinker), the pools, and the restaurants which you only get two tickets during your stay to go to and in order to make your reservation you cannot call you have to go down to guest services to make a reservation and hope they have some left because on my birthday there were no reservations so I had to go down to the restaurant and the time slot I wanted and hope someone didn’t show up so I could get their reservation and luckily God worked it out but that didn’t feel good at all. Also all of the activities on the resort such as the water park, the bowling alley etc are an additional charge, room service is an additional charge as well and wash clothes are considered an amenity. Yes you heard me right! Wash clothes only come with the premium package regular rooms come with hand towels and bath towels noooo wash clothes! If you can believe it there’s more! This was enough for me to say I will never stay at one of their hotels again because they have them all over the world Barceló Maya can keep their cheap pettiness. Please choose another hotel to stay at especially if you are in Riviera Maya Cancún Mexico.

Fantastic experience: Valerie assist me and my girlfriends on a vacation to Saint Lucia this month, it was a wonderful experience, we stayed at an all inclusive resort called the Royalton, and we were on the Adult only side at the hideaway . We did book a diamond club access room but there was a misunderstanding and that access was not booked . Overall the resort was very beautiful, the restaurant options were all delicious and the staff were super friendly. We enjoyed our excursion experience with Sasha at the resort , the horse back riding on the beach was a wonderful experience as well as the mud bath tour. Next time I would like to take a boat ride from the airport to the resort instead of a shuttle ride due to the shuttle ride being 2 hours long and bumpy . Overall it was a great experience

Fantastic experience: My wife and I worked with Val at Seven Seas Travel to plan a 10 Year Wedding Anniversary Trip. We ended up going to the Iberostar Grand Rose Hall in Jamaica. This was an all inclusive adults only resort. We had a phenomenal time. Val was always quick to respond to our questions throughout the booking process and worked with us on price and dates. The resort was everything we were looking for - beautiful beach, great food and drinks, it was NOT crowded, and everyone was incredibly nice. Cant wait to go back!

Everything went smooth from flights on time and short layovers. Transportation from airport to resort and back to airport was set up and on time. The Explorean resort was amazing. Food, drinks, snorkeling, views and staff very excellent. I would definitely recommend Valerie for setting up any trips you need planned!!!

Fantastic experience: My Hawai'ian Vacation: The Outrigger condo I stayed at on the big island, in Kailua-Kona, was great! Plenty of room for me and someone else, if I'd had anyone with me. Had everything I needed and 0.0then some. I do wish I'd known about the stove hood fan before setting off the smoke alarm while making pancakes, but the front desk staff was cool about it and help was prompt. (I was too short- and old - to reach it myself.) This was my first trip since my husband Richard passed, and i hadn't flown since 2017. As it isn't my favorite mode of transportation,I was a little anxious about the trip there. My agent, Val, arranged for special needs for me. She got me a non-stop to Honolulu (I was afraid if I had to get off and back I'd miss my connection) and a puddle jumper to Kona. Delta let me drive my scooter right to the plane door, then stowed it below. It was waiting for me outside of the plane door when I disembarked. They also had someone take me to my next gate. Since I would be visiting with my bf from school, there were no other arrangements to be made, but if I travel like that in the future, Val will be my first call.

Negative experience: Called to plan a trip, receptionist took my name, number and trip details because no one could talk to me at the moment. It’s been a week no call back Response to owner: just called the correct location and confirmed that some one took all my info last week. So why lie about the way you handle business? Make it seem like I’m stupid to save face on google reviews. An apology would’ve been fine. Business owner is a liar

Negative experience: Valerie is always very helpful as She has booked many of our travel destinations. Our latest vacation was to Las Vegas which was a delta vacation package for a 4 night stay in Paris hotel on the Las Vegas strip. I found the hotel a bit alarming. NOT very friendly or accommodating. Our room over looked a roof top parking structure. We booked room with delta vacation a city view of the strip. When we pointed this out to the front desk they had said parking structure is city view?? TOTALLY unacceptable! Valerie of course helped by contacting delta representative to try and resolve but checkin at the hotel was slammed with guest checking in that we did not want to wait in line half the afternoon. The hotel was dirty with carpet that was quite disgusting. This appeared to be throughout the entire hotel . The hotel pool was roped off because they said there was not enough life guards to open the whole pool.. This was our first trip to Vegas and first impression was not great.; largely due to bad experience at Paris. There was not even a concierge‘s desk?? All in all we saw a couple of great shows and had fun checking out some of the up scale Hotel properties. I suppose we’ve had the Vegas experience BUT chances in returning 60/40.

One of my last trips with my dad before he passed was a flight to Vegas and road trip to California to see other family. It was planned with Valerie and everything was perfect. We chose to stay at several different hotels throughout the trip and auto rentals, transfers, and flights. We had everything we needed every step of the way and did not have to worry about anything.

The food was awesome!! This place really took good care of you. Only bad thing was the beach was small but they are fixing it this fall. I would highly recommend Val to plan your trips!!!

Val, who is my usual travel agent has always been very helpful. Whether it's a family vacation or a girls trip, Val has worked tirelessly to make sure everything is in order for our vacation to be enjoyed. My most recent trip was to Cancun to the Royalton Splash Cancun Resort which is a new resort in Cancun. In reading reviews, my friends and I were a bit apprehensive about staying there but we are so glad that we didn't change resorts. Although there was a minor glitch it was taken care of in a very timely manner and we had a fantastic time. The resort is beautiful. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful.

Fantastic experience: Valerie booked a trip for me and my husband to the Dominican Republic. I wanted to stay at a place my friends stayed at, but they did not have an ocean view room. Valerie checked out the Ocean El Faro and recommended it since it was built in 2018. Everything I saw on the internet was exactly how it was. I had an amazing ocean view, a four-room suite complete with a butler who took care of all of our needs. Valerie also helped me register for Sky mile points through Delta. Valerie also set up our transportation and it was seamless. This was the second trip I took through her and I would highly recommend her for your travel needs.

Negative experience: Tried several times to get tickets within a span of five months and they never got my tickets or call me back. I’ll never refer them and I will go out of my way to steer anyone away from them. You know exactly what I’m talking about. You have not returned my phone calls. Your response when I called you back was “you must’ve fallen under the paperwork.” Then you never called me back. 1 star rating for you. Thanks

Negative experience: Me and my fiancé both reached out regarding our honeymoon. Neither one of us received a call back. I was asked for my number but never my name. I was on the email list from a previous trip that was booked through them and thought it would be a good idea to use them again, I was wrong.

Positive experience: Val my travel agent was terrific....I just wish I did more investigating before I took the trip....the room was clean and daily service was good but I didnt rrealize how big the place was, thank goodness I rented a scooter. my travel mate had to hurry to the end of the pool every morning at 6 am just to save us an umbrella... the entertain ment was alwaysi n Spanish and I did not appreciate one of the girls shaking her bootie in my face on the beach. I expected more service like on a viking cruise. The evening meals were good...the buffet was ok if you like cold pizza...all in all I would not take that trip agiain

Fantastic experience: I would like to share that val at 7 seas travel took care of us on a short notice and we had one of our best experiences to Mexico in a long time I also would have to say that delta travel dropped the the ball and they had a 9 passenger van for 300 people trying to get to our destination 1 van no other drivers and this was a arrival on a Tuesday Staff and everybody was great hate to think if it was a sat or Sunday.

Fantastic experience: Valerie has been my go to lady for all my events she's been more that just an travel agent to us she's more like an aunt that knows everything especially when it comes to traveling. It was Valerie who got all our plans set for us for our wedding when most of our guests couldn't leave the country do to late pass port issues she recommended us to this Lovely Chappell in Vegas that arranged our entire wedding from getting fitted for our suites with luxury limo service there and back to multiple limousines picking up our entire wedding party to having the most wonderful & gorgeous wedding cake we've ever tasted and after the most amazing private room wedding party over looking the water in the Venetian Hotel back in 2015. And every since then Valerie has been the one who has helped us plan our vacations for the last 8 years straight and counting we love all her knowledge about all our out of the country trips and it's always been a blast and the fact that she's let's me ask her all these questions about everything and makes us smile and laugh all while she answers all of our questions lol . But we just wanted to say thank you Valerie for all your help with all our travels needs you always keep us in good hands thank you Val.

We were close enough to visit The Grand Canyon which is a must see. Also went to the awesome town of Sedona and a small mountain side town called Jerome. She had so much patience with me (after we changed our initial destination) and we had the BEST honeymoon at the El Dorado Maroma in Rivera Maya. If you want total relaxation, amazing food & the best service I highly recommend Maroma.

We really enjoyed our stay and the hotel was way more then we expected and we loved the experience. I will be recommending seven seas and Valerie to my friends and family.

Fantastic experience: I have worked with Val from seven seas travel on my last two vacations and she has helped me plan the best vacations. I went to a all inclusive in Mexico in 2021 and in 2022 I went to an all inclusive resort in Jamaica. I would recommend seven seas travel to anyone that wants to a reasonable priced and wonderful vacation.

Fantastic experience: My experience with Valerie at Seven Seas Travel was excellent! She helped me with my trip to Vegas, starting with booking my Delta flights; the flights both ways were on time and smooth! She recommended things to see and do in Vegas, particularly the Beatles Love show at the Mirage; it was awesome! I ate at many great places, including Posh Burger at Aria, 8 East at Circa and Village Pub & Cafe at Ellis Island. She is such a fun and happy lady and made my vacation so fun!! I will be using her for all my trips and I highly recommend her!

Fantastic experience: Vacationed at El Dorado Seaside Suites Riviera Maya Mexico. Beautiful all-inclusive adult only resort booked through our travel agent Val. However we were hit with additional $350 "incidental fees" as well as daily resort fees which we were unaware of at the time of booking. This resort also has king suites, I think only one double bed suite per floor and we had a party that booked 8 rooms all were unaware of only king suites again something to know in advance! Beautiful resort.

Fantastic experience: I've worked with seven seas travel years ago in the past, in the mid 90s. I tried contacting them recently, went to their location and couldn't get in. I tried contacting them, left a message and never received a return call. Maybe seven seas doesn't exist anymore. Hours later from writing this review, I received a response from the owner explaining why I couldn't contact them. I want to apologize for my comments, and understand the response received. Thank you for a quick response.

Fantastic experience: I booked a trip to Disney at the last minute for the holidays. Valerie Secombe was my agent and she went over and above the call of duty to book my trip. She spent hours on the phone helping me navigate the Disney web site which was horribly difficult to access and navigate. She never lost patience even calling me on her personal time to help me. My flights and reservations went without a hitch and the hotel she booked me at was excellent. She even checked in with me after my arrival to see if everything was up to my expectations. I would not hesitate to recommend Valerie or Seven Seas Travel and I will definitely call her for my next trip.

Fantastic experience: Willie and I, Gayle Wooten returned from a fabulous trip to Oahu, Hawaii. It was booked by our agent, Valerie. We flew Delta Airlines and the flights were safe and punctual. We stayed at The Outrigger Reef Hotel in Waikiki which was clean and provided excellent accommodations. The hotel was in a great location and the staff was helpful, polite, and friendly. We enjoyed the sights by going to Pearl Harbor. We took a trolley ride visiting many historic sights and we attended a Luau. We would highly recommend the hotel, the airlines and of course the service that we received from Valerie. One day I had a question for Valerie and she called us to address our concern in a timely manner. Overall, it was a wonderful trip. Fantastic experience: I have used Seven Seas travel a few years ago for a few cruise vacations but this will be my first time using them for an all inclusive trip and I know it will the best one yet! Val is amazing to work with!
