Sally & Caitlin worked effortlessly to make this Mediterranean vacation one to remember !! ports of call from Santorini - Athens & then on to Italy . Catania was incredible Livorno which included Florence & Pisa making a stop in Rome was something to see a must. Also Malta was a beautiful sight ending in Cannes France (a must see ) before coming back to port in Rome. Fantastic experience: From start to finish Anna at travel smiths went above and beyond to plan the perfect honey moon for myself and my husband! Fantastic experience: Our trip was perfect. Working with @TravelWithLisa was so easy. She paid attention to our every wish for this trip and made great recommendations for things we hadn't considered. The hotels were in great locations. Her pub recommendations were spot on. The prearranged tours in London and Liverpool were terrific. And the transfers were an unexpected delight since one of our drivers (Fabio, who drove us on two separate days) provided a lot of bonus information about London on our drive from the station to our hotel. Our only regret was not planning to stay another couple of days.

Fantastic experience: Updated 11MAR2025 - we've returned from our 2nd trip booked by Liz from TravelSmiths. She again provided excellent and responsive customer service. Our resort was beautiful and she was able to book an amazing, oceanfront suite for us. She also handled all of our dinner reservations, which we had our agenda ahead of time. She was available for us during the entire trip, especially verifying that we made it to the resort and our room exceeded our expectations. We definitely recommend Liz and TravelSmiths, as well will book our next big vacation from them again! Liz provided us with the best customer service. She was attentive, responsive and professional. She provided a lot of great advice and handled any type of issues with our vacation, even if out of her control. We will absolutely use her again as our travel agent. One of the best parts of TravelSmiths is the app. We had all of the information on our phone, such as air, hotel, transfers, and a lot of other stuff like gratuity suggestions, dress codes for restaurants, etc. It was also a way to communicate with Liz via text, even though we were international. A friend recommended Liz (and TravelSmiths) and we'd do the same. We will use them again.

Fantastic experience: Ashley from travel smith’s is amazing! I cannot recommend her enough. She helped me plan a memorable 10 day trip to Italy for my husband, 13 year old son and myself. We had most of the trip planned and had to cancel because my son needed to have surgery that would leave him on crutches during our trip. The trip was a dream of his and that just wasn’t going to work. She kept me calm when I was freaking out! Ashley worked with me every step of the way to cancel and then rebook everything for 6 months later. She hand picked the hotels, transportation, activities and restaurants with each and every one of us in mind. She worked so hard to make sure we didn’t have to worry about anything on our trip. Fantastic experience: We just returned from a trip to London to visit our daughter, who is studying there for the semester. As always, Colleen, our travel expert, was amazing from start to finish. Because she had booked several other trips for our family, she knew our tastes; she was able to recommend and then book customized experiences for us. The Kensington Hotel was absolutely perfect for our stay. It was a quick walk to our daughter’s apartment and situated in such a lovely area for walking and exploring. Colleen then personally contacted the hotel to ask if they would upgrade us to a larger room to accommodate my daughter spending nights with us, and they happily did so at no charge - She was able to stay with us every night and have breakfast with us every morning! The hotel was beautiful and the customer service was exemplary. The tour Colleen recommended to Canterbury and Dover was also top-notch, and the company who took care of our transfers was professional and courteous. As a family who vacations at least four times a year, we always count on Colleen at Travel Smiths to ensure we experience the very best, with no annoying hiccups that can ruin a vacation. It can be very difficult to navigate the twists and turns of international travel, but Pete was always available to answer questions and provide the services needed. We received personalized service from Scherene, she made us feel as if we were her only clients. We booked a seven day Viking cruise with a 4 day pre sailing excursion. Scherene handled all the booking details with Viking, even the airfare. A few days before the trip Scherene met with us in person and explained all the details even checking on the river levels to see if the riverboat was able to cruise. There was someone from Viking to meet us upon our arrival and take us to our hotel in Munich. It was smooth sailing from the moment we arrived to the moment we got home. Negative experience: My travel agent never got back to me with information for my trip that she said she would look into for me, I left calls with the agency and the agent but no response. It’s been months. Honestly just super disappointed with the lack of communication & I just booked everything myself.

Fantastic experience: Sally and her staff at TravelSmiths made sure that our vacation went as smooth as possible, before, during, and even after. Before with advice on flights, bookings, luggage, during with dinner reservations, and excursions, and after with advise to get a Mobile Passport so as to streamline the re-entry to the US. Fantastic experience: Took a trip to Ecuador and the Galapagos with my grandchildren and their parents. It was the best of my life despite a bizarre bird strike to the plane which landed us in a different airport than planned, a language barrier and unknown territory. It never would have ended so well without the knowledge and help of our travel agent Travelsmiths (a heartfelt thank you to Lexie & Sally) and their chosen tour guide (Metropolitan Tour Group) who quickly got us back on track. We covered a lot of ground on our 10 day trip - soaking in the culture, loving the wildlife and doing much island hopping by way of boats, tiny planes, water taxis and vans. There was always a tour guide to greet us and show us the way. It never could have happened without a travel agent. All we had to do was experience & enjoy!

Negative experience: Not impressed at all. Stopped in to see about planning a trip to England, said agents work at home & would call us...3 weeks-nothing!! Forget it!!!! Told us they are there 24/7, if this is how they return calls I'd hate to be stuck at an airport.
