Fantastic experience: I spent nearly a week exploring the Keweenaw in June of this year and stayed at Vic's Cabins. A problem with my financial institution put a hold on my funds due to what appeared to be several fraudulent expenses. I thought my vacation was going to be ruined as I was not able to pay for my cabin. Upon hearing of my situation, the owner of Vic's allowed me to stay and enjoy my vacation until my funds were released, which was about a week later. I can't tell you how thrilled I was to be extended this unheard of courtesy, I mean, who does something like this. This was taking good customer relations to a level of yesteryear, where a handshake and a promise was as good as cash in hand. Thank you Vic's, this exceptional service was in addition to a very reasonable rent schedule and attention to every detail. I can not say enough good things about my stay with Vic's plus their location is right in the middle of the Keweenaw making day trips to different things to see and do extremely convenient. You are rated as a 6 star facility in my book, thanks again.

Fantastic experience: We were up that way for a wedding, and the owners were very accommodating. Very friendly both on the phone and in person. The cabin was wonderful and had everything we needed. The biggest surprise was how comfortable the bed was! I would definitely recommend a stay there.

Fantastic experience: Our first visit and it was really great. Clean, comfortable beds, plenty of hot water, cute kitchenette (could use a cutting board and can opener in unit 4). Great location and dog friendly. A little cramped but not a problem. Plan to stay again if we can get to the keweenaw.

Fantastic experience: This is the perfect location to see all of what Keweenaw Peninsula has to offer and beyond. The cabins are clean. With kitchenette and coffee pot (which for me is a plus and must) The owners are so sweet. This is the second time staying and will continue to stay every time we are visiting the area. And besides I Love Calumet!!!

Fantastic experience: If you're up in the "copper country" area, this is by far the best place to stay! The owners are top-notch people who really care about the property and their customers! We would stay EVERY weekend if we could! They are booked up, so if you want to stay, plan ahead its worth it!!

Fantastic experience: They said first impressions........ When my daughter and I walked into the office, Paul greeted us with a smile and a handshake. The place was clean and nice. We were in cabin 3. There were 2 separate bedrooms, a kitchen with fridge, stove, microwave, take and chairs. Both bedrooms had t.v.s. it was a relaxing place to stay and will definitely stay again!

Fantastic experience: My mom and I stayed there for a week and everything was great. I had ants in my room but they took care of it right away and I appreciated that. Everything was nice and beds were comfortable. Will definitely come back again to stay. The only thing I would recommend would be to have a fire pits by each cabin to enjoy and picnic tables by each so people could enjoy sitting outside. Place was very clean and well kept. Owners were very friendly and nice.

Fantastic experience: This is a very nice place. Our cabin was neat and clean with a large king size bed. They have everything you need. There is a stove, refrigerator, microwave and coffee maker. Paul and Jen make you feel welcome. We stayed here before our seaplane flight out to Isle Royale . We will stay here again in the future. If you are vacationing on the Keweenaw you need to check them out and book a stay.

Fantastic experience: The owner was very accommodating, getting us a room after the website said there was no vacancy. The cabin itself was extremely clean and much bigger than what we needed. We will definitely be staying here again on a future visit to the keewena peninsula.

Fantastic experience: GREAT PIT STOP!!! We travel with our dog and I was absolutely delighted with the dog park!! He was so happy just running around for awhile without the leash. Poop bags were available along with a picnic table and benches for the humans. The restrooms were cleaned and stocked. The travel center had about anything you'd need to to comfortable on the road.

Fantastic experience: We love the little cabins and the proprietors are awesome if it is just my husband, youngest son, and I. It's not ideal for our other sons who are 6'7" though (small shower and limited space) and I won't give up my comfortable king size bedroom. Price is perfect, WiFi works, and the location is great for exploring the Keweenaw in a different direction each day.

Fantastic experience: The folks here are the best. Very nice cabins. They're clean and have a warm feeling with the retro style. It's like stepping back in time. We were to stay two nights and decided on a third because we didn't want to leave. A fall trip here is in the plans.

Positive experience: The cabin we stayed in was simple, and delightful. I'm very picky when it comes to the bed I sleep in. I did bring my air mattress just in case I needed a second option.Needless to say I never had to use it, the bed was super comfy! The new owners were super nice, accommodating, and are renovating the cabins slowly but surely! This was a great experience and perfect location. On our trip we collected amazing agate's, and semi-precious stones, we seen the northern lights, two wolves, a black bear, a porcupine, bunnies, a raccoon with half of it's tail missing, an owl, and a snake going across the road with a bird flying over it!! We definitely got our dose of nature and luckily we seen all of those cute creatures throughout our trip at different times ;) while driving about! This is definitely a hidden treasure with lots to offer the outdoor or nature enthusiast. Don't overlook this quaint little place, it's seriously a gem! Thank you JR for great customer service! I can't wait to come back!
