Fantastic experience: Outstanding customer experience today at AAA in North Reading!! I needed to renew my license and upgrade to a RealID and the entire process could not have been any smoother! A grateful shout-out to Kevin and Amanda who got me in and out so efficiently so that I could get back to my office as soon as possible. They are knowledgeable, professional and provided me with great service with a smile!! The environment was clean and inviting and parking was a cinch in the large lot of the shopping center. Last but not least, I've been an AAA Member for so many years - and this is just one more perk that comes with membership! Thank you, AAA North Reading!

Negative experience: If you happen to visit this branch, be cautious of a male Asian employee. I also recommend reading other reviews about him. I've been a AAA member for 17 years, but I have never encountered someone as unfriendly and arrogant as this person. I seriously wonder how such a person is allowed to deal with customers. If AAA has a customer care department, they should not only read this review but also consider the feedback from other customers about him. What's even more concerning is that when I complained about his behavior, his manager yelled at me to leave the store before they called the police. Once again, if AAA has a customer care department, they should seriously consider the conduct of the staff working at this store. I plan to go back in two weeks to check on the situation again.

Fantastic experience: I just got to say this place was super easy to use and conveniently located. I used them for the rmv services to get my licence renewed and updated to the real id. Not only do they let you schedule online before hand they go far out to plan wise. They also are very courteous upon arrival. They greeted right when I entered the building. Once attended to, it only took 10 minutes. By far the fastest I've ever taken to complete any rmv related trips. If I can use them for any other services this will be the first place I would go to.

Fantastic experience: Even though the RMV website was down, we were at AAA North Reading where Lisa was most kind and helpful trying to renew driver’s license with system down; then we went to Maria who gave us another appointment to renew drivers license, then went over and above helping us print a new registration which we never received in the mail - she was so helpful!! Thank you Lisa and Maria!!

Negative experience: Had a 9am appointment and they opened late, then they were not ready to help as soon as they opened. Had to wait several more minutes. Were extremely rude and unhelpful.

Fantastic experience: I had an appointment to get my Real ID. The staff was very friendly and got me in and out quickly. I also felt very safe because I saw them cleaning and disinfecting between every client. Much better than going to the RMV

Fantastic experience: Why would you ever go to an RMV center when you can come here to AAA in North Reading? The two ladies that I dealt with were professional and delightful to work with. I was in and out for my Real ID in about 20 minutes. Just have the paperwork you are supposed to have and you won’t have any issues. Definitely recommend.

Negative experience: It was the worst... I first walked in and there was a beautiful woman standing there I was about to tell her I loved her mask and she was like... Do you have a appointment? I said no but I talked a AAA angent on the phone he was wonderful by the way and he told me to come here .. I explained I had moved and my registration went back to the registry .. she says 25.dollars and who are you . I told her the gentleman on the phone said she could wave the fee where it had only been 30 days .. she came back at me with under no circumstances am I waving the fee .. I left and went to the registry and I had it in 5 minutes and they were wonderful.. I definitely will never go back to the north reading AAA office ever..

Fantastic experience: Need to do a registration transfer and with COVID all places have a long wait time (even with appointments). I have AAA and was looking around to see if I can get an appointment to get it done. This was the location had the time for me to schedule. Once I walked in there were a few people waiting, but it did not take long for Kim (the manager) to greet everyone of us and confirm all of us has the appropriate appointments. She is also training a new employee while another member of the team called out. Kim and Aida was very professional and even though there are hiccups, they got everyone through their appointment. I was in and out in approx 20 in per appointment and everything was taken care of. AAA+ in my book. To Kim - Thank you so much for you assistant today.

Fantastic experience: Stopped in last minute before my road trip to Maine, and although I was informed customers should make an appointment ahead of time to have A trip Tic printed, the travel agent I met with that day managed to print me one, provide me advice about where to stop for dinner, overall informative and pleasant.

Fantastic experience: Donna the branch manager went above and beyond to help us with a last minute vacation for a client that has never been on a vacation! Ellen Saulnier was also wonderful. So off to Disney and Universal he goes. Character breakfast, park passes, everything he wants. He will never forget this vacation and I thank Donna and Ellen very much. Much appreciated!

Negative experience: I’ve been a AAA member for 15 years. Was excited to learn that many RMV services can be done at our local North Reading office. Came to get a new license issued, figured it would not only be faster than going to the local RMV branch, but also a more pleasant experience. Could not be more WRONG. Older woman who “helped” me was extremely rude and unpleasant. I had a simple question and she spoke to me as if I should of known the answer. This woman should be put in the back room filing papers since she clearly does not know how to interact with and service customers. Will think twice before returning here, or just try the Burlington branch.

Negative experience: I didn't get my car registration in the mail by the end of October when it expired. I mailed the payment the beginning of October. I called the RMV and they told me it was renewed and sent out in the mail the second week of October. They said they would send me another one and asked if I had AAA. I do and they told me to call my nearest one and explain my situation and ask them if they could give me a sticker for my license plate so I wouldn't have to go through the hassle of being stopped by the police and explaining the situation as my registration is valid. THEY WOULDN'T GIVE ME A STICKER!!! All they had to do was make a phone call to the RMV to verify that my registration was valid but wouldn't. I have had AAA since I got my drivers license at 17 years old. UNBELIEVABLE!!! Just downright LAZINESS!!!

Negative experience: I walked in at 4:45pm to renew my driver’s license. There were about 5-6 women standing around. Someone asked how can they help me. When I told her, she very gruffly replied, “Well, you know, we close in 15 minutes.” I will definitely not be returning to this particular AAA for future business.

Fantastic experience: Kerry Harvey and the rest of the team were SUPER-helpful in helping me plan a kind of last-minute trip to Nashville. We then had a change to our flight itinerary and that was handled with ease. Very easy to reach them via phone and email and follow-up was easy too. Looking forward to the trip and would DEFINITELY recommend them to anyone planning a trip. We booked airfare, hotel, and rental car through AAA and the $25 fee for airfare booking was well worth the cost.

Fantastic experience: Love AAA! walked into our local AAA center and was greeted warmly. Asked for info about Florida and was given a map and a guidebook which was perfect for what we needed. We were also given her card suggesting that if we have any questions or information about flights or hotels we should call.

Fantastic experience: I give the North Reading office 5 stars for the customer service experience I had in person. I needed some information for a road trip to Washington DC and received a bound trip-tik (which proved invaluable when the older GPS we have was sending us another route!) I also recieved some booklets and maps with tour information for our destination as well. Phones all come with GPS these days, but I still like to have a hard copy map to refer to and in downtown DC these came in very handy - the GPS doesn't always know what streets are one way during some hours! Very friendly staff at this location!

Fantastic experience: I've never had a bad experience with AAA but this particular person was wonderful!! It was snowing and and my car was in a bad position on a side street but the driver was courteous and quick! I am so thankful for AAA and wish I could've given my driver a big tip!

Positive experience: This experience because all I wanted was maps. If I wanted road service I am sure it never would have showed up as it failed to do the last two times I called. ( A friend of mine recently called for service in Wakefield at 4:00 PM and waited 1 3/4 hours for a truck to arrive) This definitely is not my father's AAA. Also, the fibbing is annoying. One time when I asked for service i requested that the driver come to the door of my business when he arrived. I was told that the driver could not do this because the drivers were not allowed to leave their vehicle. After a long wait I went looking to see if the driver was in the area. Found an unattended tow truck with the engine running in the parking lot. The driver was 75 yards away seated in a Dunkin Donuts. I could write more if time allowed

Fantastic experience: I've been in 3 times in the last month & each time it was a very pleasant experience. We are going on a trip to Disney & got tickets to the parks & Traveler's Checks. Sarah was extremely helpful & informative. Processed our requests quickly & cheerfully.
