Fantastic experience: I was in and out, it was a very quick process!!

Negative experience: AAA has left me stranded for over two hours after promising me someone would be here over an hour ago. I keep getting the runaround and the person they assigned to pick me up is not answering their phone calls or text messages. AAA is the worst company I’ve ever done business with will not be renewing my membership and will absolutely go to everything I can Better Business Bureau and anyone else to let them know what an awful company this is the communication is horrible. The promises or lies you are all pathetic.

Negative experience: This is becoming a habit of AAA. Yesterday, January 22nd, 2025, at 4: 31 a.m., my car stopped with me on the express way of Discovery drive, almost near old Jennings. I called AAA right away and told them l was stranded. l was in the middle of the road. l had traffic on my left and right, although the lane l was on was not usable. But still, it was unsafe. After l spoke to the woman named Star, l asked her how long it would be before a tow truck was dispatched she responded she didn't know."" For those who live in Jacksonville FL, you know what the weather was like on that faithful Wednesday of January 22nd. They predicted snow. I was so cold inside my car, it was raining and dark except for the headlights of cars that passed by every now and then. 1hr later at 5:30 am l received an automated call from AAA stating a ticket has been created. Then half an hour later at 6:00 am another call from same automated voice given an ETA 0f 8:02am. I started not to feel sensation at the bottom of my feet. I was dressed in scrub, so l didn't have much coverage. Thank God l had a blanket l always kept in my car. I don't know why it takes 4 hours for AAA to dispatch a tow truck to a customer, especially if that customer is not safe. Finally, the tow truck person called at 7:20am. telling me he is 15 minutes away. By 7:44 a.m., he finally arrived. I praised God that l did not freeze to death. AAA needs to do better. What's the point of asking a customer if she/ he is in a safe area and if she/he is not the tow truck still takes 4 hours to arrive. This is senseless.

Negative experience: This is the second time we needed a tow over the past couple years and it took over 4 hours! We asked the driver when they were called and it was 3 hours after our initial call. This is just unacceptable!!! The tow drivers have all been great but AAA is not doing a good job. Why can’t we just get a list and call the tow company directly???

Fantastic experience: My first time visiting AAA and the service was amazing! Ashlie S greeted me upon arrival with the friendliness smile and she was very professional and quick , I came in to get my International Drivers Permit at the Orange Park location took less than 5 mins and the office was sooo clean and quiet .

Fantastic experience: I needed my international driving permit for an overseas trip. They had everything I needed. In and out in 15 minutes.

Negative experience: They dont have a working phone line. Each time we call this number it directs us to the main Jacksonville line then when they try to direct us back to the Flemming branch, it only goes to the fax machine and hangs up. THEN when we finally go there, we're there for an hour before they tell us they didn't even put our name in the queue. The lady said give us 5 minutes and then, once again, we were left waiting another 30 some minutes before we just walked out.

Fantastic experience: I have had a great experience with this agency — specifically with Wanda Sanders. She is communicative, informative, and most importantly, has gone above and beyond on several instances to ensure a seamless process. I would highly recommend this company and look forward to continuing to work with Wanda for our insurance needs!

Negative experience: My brakes failed today. Very scary. Called AAA at 11:10 am for a tow to my mechanic. Stuck on the road and after hours of waiting told I had to wait with the car. Three calls and 4 1/2 hours later I called for a private tow. The security I felt having AAA is gone.

Positive experience: First day I stopped by I got a newer agent that said stuff that I knew was contradictory. She sent me home saying an under writer would be in touch. I've had my home & cars insured thru AAA for over a decade. I went back the next morning and got an experienced agent that knew what she was talking about and corrected errors made by greener agents. So it's a mixed bag.

Negative experience: I bought AAA thinking that if I needed roadside assistance I could rely on them for help. That is far from the truth. My van broke down and I called for a tow truck. I waited the entire day as they pushed my time back all day long. I ended up cancelling the tow truck. I had waited ALL DAY!!!! I ended up calling someone else to come get the van. What did I pay for? They basically stole my money.

Negative experience: I called, left a message and no one ever returned my call.

Negative experience: Horrible service. I tried for days to make an appointment so that we can come in and speak with a representative. I never got a return phone call. My husband stopped by the office to make an appointment and they told him they were busy and to call them. Don’t bother calling this office

Negative experience: What a joke! We have had AAA Membership for well over 25 years and in all that time received excellent service. But not today! Called at 1:30pm for service on a dead battery and was promised a show time of one and a half hours. Now at 6:51pm, they are UNABLE to provide a show time. I have recently had shoulder surgery and am sick as a dog with a sinus infection. We are done with this company. What an utter farce.

Negative experience: About to cancel my membership. I have waited 3 days now for my car to be towed. "Vice towing" is who it says online is towing my car and they're a joke. Triple a needs to find reliable companies this is ridiculous

Negative experience: Service dispatch for assistance is pathetic. My mother-in-law, thankfully, had a dead battery at my house. She called AAA. She waited 4 hours on Friday and battery service was a no show. Today, she waited for 4 more hours, and still a no show. We have been a AAA family for years, but this is soon to change. We know why the battery service never showed up, because they are known to be unreliable and unable to meet demand. AAA ... Contract with reliable companies. Your customers pay for reliable service.

Positive experience: Had to deduct a star because although service was friendly and quick, the passport photo they took was rejected by the state dept and I had to get it re-shot elsewhere (Walgreens). First time that had ever happened, and I've used other AAA offices for passport photos for 30 years. They do not have a computerized verification system of the photo's specs falling within acceptable range.
