Positive experience: The trip was well-organized, with all key spots covered and sufficient time allotted at each. The hotel was clean and comfortable. However, the hotel staff was slow to respond to a bathroom issue, and we would have appreciated a bit more time in the morning on Day 2. It also would have been helpful if the bus provided water instead of requiring us to bring our own. Overall, I’d rate the experience 8/10.

Fantastic experience: This 2-day Niagara Falls tour was great and planned very well. The hotel room was spacious and had the necessary amenities we needed too. Our tour guide, Jason was very friendly and made sure that we were able to cover all the activities such as the Whirlpool State Park, Hot Air Balloon, Maid of Mist, Cave of Winds, Niagara Illumination, as well as the fireworks while we were at Niagara Falls.

Positive experience: Good experience doing the 2 day Niagara falls tour. Jason did well managing people and keeping a time check. Experience could be better by providing water and meals along the journey. Key attractions that are a must do are Niagara falls itself, cave of wind and maid of mist. The smaller ones like lake erie and watkins glen are good. Rest is just to cover the time during the trip can avoid.

The entire tour was punctual and particular. You are free to customise your experience and choose what you want to experience and what you dont. The only thing is the tour doesnt give you any time of your own to explore - which is again a pro as this makes us experience everything on the checklist! Overall, i highly recommend!

Fantastic experience: Taketours provide great tours options, professional staff and runs on schedule. They provide nice hotels for night stay. Time at actual sites are depending upon the length of your tour, but normally an hour at attractions.

Negative experience: We took the 5 day tour in new york to niagara. It was ok. You see so many places but it was all jammed up that you will not have time to even enjoy the views. Only a few sec to get pictures. So first thing the package that you pay for online is just for the bus and the hotels. Be ready to spend more money for the tour itself. If you are thinking that you will be able to get the bang for your back thinking that the package includes the tour itself you are very much mistaken. You need to have extra money ready to see liberty, get into niagara falls. It is not an option. Like if you are in New York. If you only decide to fo the Liberty cruise you have to avail the new york tour or they will drop you off in Times Square and you have to find your way to walk around the prime places. They will pick you up in the afternoon to take you back to the hotel. On our firsta day we already felt robbed. Same thing when you go to Philadelphia, Washington and Niagara. Most of those places are free but they still made us pay to go around the landmarks. Also wear comfortable shoes- maybe your sneakers cause you will def do a LOT OF WALKING. You have to walk fast to keep up with the group so you don’t get left behind!!! They dont even give you a lot of time to eat and the places they take you is so limited including the time for you to eat. They don’t want you eating in the bus. If you are not able to walk far or are older i would not advised this tour for you. Out of 6 nights we only had 1 hotel that is maybe 3 star but the rest is only 1 star. Buffalo Hotel is the worse and dirtiest. It was an awful and disgusting experience. The hotel they choose are so remote and not a lot of places to eat so you have to be robbed again like the one in new jersey. Prices are so expensive and food is crappy. They even book a hotel with no elevators so we have to carry our luggages on the stairs. Prepare also to be dehydrated esp on the first day you have to buy your water in the airport or in the hotel with very ludicrous price. The guys who did our tour was ok but sometimes it’s hard to understand when they talk. It seems like they do it just to get their tips at the end of the tour. Our first day when we get pick up they still charge us $12 per person. In my experience i will not do this tour again. It would be nice that they are honest and will include the pricing on everything. Not when you are so exvited about visiting those places while in the bus and they start charging and you are not left with no options. Will you go on a tour just to stay on the bus? It took away the excitement and visiting new places especially if you are not prepare to spend about 1000-1500 dollars more per person on their additional fees. You go home and feel like it was not a tour but a SCAM. In my experience unless you have the resources and the energy you can do this at your own risk but otherwise never again!!!!

Negative experience: We made the 6-Day Classic East Coast Tour from New York with Boston. The hotels despite being always far from the bank city center, were good and comfortable. the ideal was that everyone had breakfast included. what did not always happen. On the first day the tour in NY was very poor and we had to walk on our own (should have a guide as happened in Boston) better have opted for the sightseeing tour that we even visited the bridges and Brooklyn etc. Always pay for a mandatory tour we find ridiculous. It was worth at the time of purchase to be selected the tour and not pay each day for the selected tour. I found this option bad. Not all passengers chose the 2 activities which then created no option for those who selected only one option. that they had to wait for the others and stay some hours waiting. Paying an additional 12 USD per day also seems ridiculous to me. only in the American style. In Europe this does not happen. Besides that the tour was more oriented to the asian community and so the places to eat were always in Chinese places Overall it was an acceptable tour could be much better and with more conditions. Not even Wi-Fi the bus had what is unfortunate today. Paying for additional and mandatory activities was the worst of this tour. the price should include food and transport and at least the deep dive City tours.

One thing to keep in mind is that if you are planning any trip from TakeTours, you should definitely include all optional charges in your budget. The basic tour price is only for transportation and accommodations.

Negative experience: My tour was canceled 3 days before my trip to Calgary. I buyed avia-tickets, hotel, tours to banff, and they canceled. It's not normal. Thanks God, I found another company to buy a tour, but if not, my trip to Calgary doesn't make sense. Sorry, but very disappointed

For our first day it was with Angie, she was a great tour guide and from then the rest of our week it was with Ricky. He was the best tour guide who made our tour the best experience and would definitely recommend it to take it with them. Ricky and Angie both took the customers needs and put them first! Fantastic experience: We join a 3 days 17 miles San Francisco Yosemite. The tour guide Zoe is very professional and patient. The service and arrangements are very good. The weather was very good, 17 Mile and Pebble Beach were beautiful. We took a bay cruise in San Francisco and went to Twin Peaks and City Hall. On the last day in Yosemite, although the waterfall flow was very small flow, we saw a very beautiful view at the tunnel view.

Negative experience: They cancelled us 1 day before our trip to niagara falls! They subcontract another company and lack of communication between them, we had to seek our refund because they didnt know the other company cancelled us their own tour!! There were a lot of contradictions with the cancellation (they said they didnt have people in the tour but the webpage appeared sold out and then they said it was because they didnt have Space in the hotel..bunch of lies) We had booked this tour With a lot anticipation! Never hire them!!!

Negative experience: The worst experience in my travels, the bus was the oldest there could be, the guide spent the whole day smoking and there was never time to eat, I paid for the most expensive hotel close to Niagara Falls to have a better experience, at the last minute they told me not to show up at that hotel, if you have the option of doing one of these tours, don't do it with this company.

Fantastic experience: We took a 2 day tour with Judy to the Niagara Falls. She was very organized and provided good information throughout the tour. The Wyndham hotel mixed up our reservation. I let Judy know about it and the issue was resolved immediately. She was patient with the group and gave plenty of breaks during our tour. We saw the scenery of these cities and the magnificent scenery of the Niagara Falls. Our tour guide Paul was great. He introduced things to us and helped us solve various problems. The itinerary was very reasonable and we had an unforgettable trip.

Negative experience: Beware of High charges! Took a 3 days Tour from NY - Niagara Falls. You have to take a mandatory $45 (in Washington DC) + $75 (Niagara Tours) + 3*$12 = $36 = $156 per person. All these attractions are for free except for $20 charges at Niagara Falls. They are charging already $100 extra per person in the name of attractions ! Don’t do it.. it not worth $440 + $312 = $752 for two persons Nor for 4 person $440 + $624 = $1064 All you get is 2 days hotel ~ $250 and ride ~ $250 (for 4 people) Please avoid as much as possible.

Negative experience: Abbiamo fatto questo tour nei parchi Americani ed è stata una brutta esperienza. Alla partenza abbiamo scoperto che l autista andava a prendere i vari turisti all hotel invece noi abbiamo dovuto prendere e pagare un taxi, le visite nei posti sono durate poco più di mezz ora e subito si doveva ripartire, in albergo a 5 stelle che vi promettono scordatevi la colazione e il lusso di stare anche in piscina perché non danno il tempo di godersi neanche un momento di relax. In un parco Lower Antilope Canyon ci hanno annullato la prenotazione perché ci hanno detto che il posto non era più accessibile a causa delle forti piogge del giorno prima mentre alcuni italiani incontrati dopo due giorni ci hanno detto che hanno fatto entrare nel giorno in cui dovevamo andare noi. I soldi per i tour circa 300/400 dollari a testa Ve li chiedono in contanti e non accettano carte di pagamento e non rilasciano neanche una ricevuta e senza darti spiegazione sui prezzi che pagano loro ai parchi. Ultimo ti dicono che visitare tante cose e che l arrivo a fine tour è previsto alle 20.00 invece alle 16.00 siete già a casa perché l autista accompagna le varie persone all hotel. Avendo capito tutto questo in ritardo sconsigliamo di prendere questo tour perché sono degli imbroglioni.

Fantastic experience: Joined the tour as referred by a friend, and there is no disappointment. The staff were very flexible and accommodating with different requests, with lots patience to try to make things work for you. I went with Alan for the 4 days tour visiting New York, Washington and Niagara Fall. The highlight is definitely the Niagara Maid of the mist cruise trip, highly recommend. Alan is a very experienced tour guide and knowledgeable about the places and the country. Overall a great fun trip, and would recommend.

Positive experience: We took a 2-day tour to Niagara Falls this weekend, making the most of every moment. The Maid of the Mist and Cave of the Winds were unforgettable highlights. The only issue was wheelchairs were prohibited on our tour bus. This became a small barrier in our trip. Our tour guide, Sean, was kind, patient, and incredibly attentive. Overall, an amazing trip!

Negative experience: Such a Scammer Tour company. DO NOT book any tours from this company. They won't give you what you have paid for. They force you to book additional tours once you get on the bus. The hotel was in Buffalo instead of near a Niagara Falls as promised. Additional service charges at the end. We had to call the police and they even agreed with us. Very aggressive operator. She literally yelled at somebody for asking to go to the bathroom. People like this should not be allowed to work with the elderly especially. A couple near me was in tears over the additional 200$ per person fees by the end.

Fantastic experience: La empresa take tours nos llevo a las cataratas del Niagara, fue un paseo de dos días, en los cuales hicimos varias actividades como hiking, vinos las cataratas alumbradas de noche y fuegos artificiales y al final bajamos a ver las cataratas desde cerca. Muy completo el viaje y muy agradable el personal.
