Negative experience: Scam….My husband and I bought tickets and cancelled within 24 hours. We were told if we cancelled we would get a full refund. The staff acknowledged this and said we still had to pay $100 administrative fee, (which is not a full refund). The staff stated this is in their website however we explicitly asked about a full refund and no mention of administrative fees were mentioned. The staff states we agreed to this however the form we signed mentioned nothing about administrative fees. This company needs reported to FTC. Update fine example this is a company who still does not value a FULL REFUND policy if cancelled within a 24 hour period and shares private information in a public platform.
Booking ID 2412043530 for United Airlines' flight from Knoxville (TYS) to Fort Lauderdale (FLL) was found by the system. The email address that the customer provided at the time of purchase was used to process and deliver the United Airlines tickets and seats. When the customer asked to cancel their tickets, a cancellation fee of USD 50 per passenger was assessed in accordance with the terms and conditions that were agreed upon and e-signed before the purchase was finalized. The consumer received a refund in the original method of purchase for any remaining fare value. Other than what was expressly stated in the Terms & Conditions, no additional fees were assessed.
Negative experience: When you book tickets beware of extra services for additional charge. I did not add anything extra, but still was charged and not refunded.

Negative experience: The representatives are all in India, the rude way in which these reps speak to people needs to be studied in communication courses. The level of rudeness/pompousness is out of this world. Yes the plane tickets are cheaper however it’s a nightmare. They have hidden charges and will try to overcharge your card if you don’t know the rules. One member will tell you one thing and another will try to over charge you. They tried over charging me by another $400 one day later of purchasing my ticket in addition to the $900 price I already paid for my ticket. I had to contact Delta and my card company. It’s as if the tickets are free or they are the doing you a favor. Delta representatives told me what the ticketing agency’s were saying was not true.

Negative experience: I had purchased my family tickets from Airtkt for future travel. After three months, due to some unforeseen circumstances I had to cancel my flights and I called Airtkt support. I was told that I cannot cancel tickets even though I had purchased a platinum travel protection plan with my booking and according to the protection plan "You will not incur our cancellation fee if the booking is cancelled within 24 hours from your original ticket purchase and will receive a full refund." I was told to take a booking credit instead that can be used in future. Now, when I'm trying to use my credit to book a flight for next year Airtkt is saying that it will expire within one year of original purchase so I don't get why they did not just cancel it when I called them and refund the money. I have no plans to travel this year so my $3000 is all gone into their pocket. When I called them last week they said the expiry date is from Airline and I confirmed from Airline they clearly said that they don't have such expiry thing. Now, instead of giving me a future booking or cancellation they are saying that they can't do anything. You can see all $3000 is gone into their pocket and no one else. This company is terrible. Be aware everyone. Please do not book your tickets from this site, rather pay a little more because eventually they are going to charge you more some or other way later. After one month, I got an email saying that there is a change in your tickets and nothing mentioned what actually changed, I had to review it thoroughly to figure that out by myself. We would like to inform you that airlines require tickets to be revalidated whenever there is a change in the schedule to guarantee that passengers do not miss their connections. Since an exchange was not needed in your case, the $75.00 interim hold has already been refunded by the system.

Upon inspection, it was discovered that there is a one-time processing fee charge due to reissue of new tickets.We understand your unhappiness with the airline's scheduling changes. The airline changed and canceled the flight due to a scheduling change beyond anyone's control, including the travel agent. Fantastic experience: Sure this company is not perfect, but im saying this from my experience, been using Airtkt for years now, never had a problem with them. Negative experience: Terrible service! Flight was changed. Charged $50 per ticket(bought 5 tickets) for change. If i wud have gone through airline…..there would be no charge for change. Called for at least $200 refund…..willing to pay $50 for change but kept telling me ‘ this is their policy’. DO NOT USE!!!!!!!!

Negative experience: Worst experience ever. So today I purchased a ticket and called back and tried to change to another time and pay the difference. I asked what the difference was he said the ticket would be 400 when I saw it online for 380. I would have to wait for my other ticket to be refunded, I told the guy that I would just keep my previous ticket so we ended the call. He called back to say he cancelled the ticket and I was charged 50 dollar service fee , 15 dollar that was to protect my ticket. And another 10 dollars. I communicated with him that I never asked my ticket to be cancelled , he said well it’s done now. My bank stopped all payments and refunded my money. Never buy a ticket from them.

Fantastic experience: I didn’t look at reviews before booking and have not yet flown but I have confirmed my and my children's tickets through the airline directly in addition to the emails from Airtkt. It seems like most of the reviews the company can shut down with further details as well as acknowledging multiple times there were errors made and corrected yet the review didn’t adjust rating I think people like to complain and don’t like to read the details Also wondering how many who had issues even tried to call them before turning to review It’s my youngest child’s first flight and thanks to this company it has been stress free so far ❤️

Negative experience: Don't do service with this people... they made u pay a certain amount that we have agreed n then find out they make a mistake on the date of reservation date n I had to pay extra for their mistake.. and now recently they deleted my flight seats that I had payed n to the airline ... Negative experience: FRAUD alert!!! This company is taking your card information and booking your flight with their card. Why would a company do that? Because they can cancel the flight, leave you stranded at the airport and still keep your money and get a refund from the airline. This caused me so much hassle with inquiries about my travel because they did not have my card information on file. You are better off buying directly from the airline. They did infact cancel my flight and I was never refunded.
The system was able to locate the booking details and discovered that Frontier Airlines and Alaska Airlines non-refundable E-Ticket confirmations were provided to the cardholder's email address on May 2nd at the time of purchase. We received no cancellation requests and did not cancel the flights. On May 6th, your bank received a claim against this allowed purchase, which was resolved by the dispute department. Most significantly, the customer had authorized a Basic Economy fare, which is non-refundable per airline policy. If the airline has allowed a refund on your ticket, please contact [email protected]. The concerned department will review your ticket only when the bank issue has been resolved.

Negative experience: We tried using flight credits to book a round trip flight and their agent was slow, unhelpful, and ultimately a complete hindrance to our trip. Despite telling him 4 times I needed to add a lap infant he neglected to add one. He entered multiple personal details wrong which delayed us at the gate including gender and date of birth. The whole process was difficult, timely, and devoid of true customer service. I will NEVER recommend anyone to use their services. Stear clear unless you want a headache filled trip. If I could give 0 stars I would.

Positive experience: Kinda surprised by the other reviews. We have been using Airtkt since 2015. We LOVE it. Always the cheapest. Spain, South Africa, London and within the U.S. hands down cheapest and great customer service. I was diagnosed with cancer after we bought tickets to South Africa, we bought the insurance for the first time before we knew about the cancer. They refunded all our money, minus the small fee. No hassle. We last booked before Covid. So not sure if management changed since or what but we have never had any issues. Price always better than others!

Negative experience: I purchased 2 tickets on this agent. The prices was really reasonable. After purchasing I got a confirmation # letting me know that my booking was completed and they are awaiting confirmation from the airlines That was a red flag for me. I looked up their reviews and everyone who booked with them had the same complaint of not receiving the service they paid for and were robbed of their monies. I am now awIting to see if they billed my credit card. As of now they have a $0 charge. I will not be answering nor responding to any of their correspondences so i would not be billed. Negative experience: SCAM. They charge the same price as the airline but slap on additional fees of their own. Can’t ever get ahold of someone on the phone, and they never issue refunds, just beat around the bush for hours. They will charge you if you want a refund too, but you will never see said refund. They keep your credit card on file from the original purchase to charge additional fees (completely illegal). Do yourself a favor and buy straight from the airline. Airline refund policies are amazing in comparison.

If you are worried about the time change of your flight, please be aware that the flight time was altered by your airline as a result of an airline schedule change that was outside of anyone's control, including the travel agent. Nevertheless, we and the airline are dedicated to offering the passenger a substitute option if required. You have been notified of each update through text and email. Negative experience: The price for a ticket is good the problem is that company should not have the responsibility for your tickets and them call you and request for your credit card information. I do not why the company need any information about your payment when they ready-made a payment. Be careful this company still your money. Please read the people review before you booked the ticket
Negative experience: This is a scam company. Yes, you will get your tickets, but they will charge you $50 every time the airline adjusts the times. They will email you to let you know of the change and when you respond to the email they take that as your consent for the charge. Their Customer service is any this but. They just repeat that it's a non-refundable fee and you should have read the terms and conditions. If you ask to speak to a supervisor, they are never available, and you will get bounced back into the queue. Asking to speak to the fraud team gets the same results. They put you in a never ending loop of people telling you no and another hold. They don't tell you that they are transferring you either. Just terrible. If you use them never respond to any email after the initial confirmation and just use the airline's app to track your flight.
When we checked your reservation, we discovered that your flights had changed more than six times since June 20th, 2023, and that each time your ticket was revalidated with new flights and delivered to the email address you supplied at the time of purchase. For these repeated validations, a one-time cost of $50.00 was paid per traveler.

We understand that you are concerned about the fee associated with your ticket; however, the ONE TIME $50.00 that we charge is for an agency ticket reissue/revalidation fee; as stated in our terms and conditions, this fee is essential for us to charge in order to cover fees imposed on us by the supplier and to pay for the service that the team is providing you with.

In reference to Booking ID 2308308393 for Philadelphia (PHL) to Prague (PRG) trip .The customer made a booking with AIRTKT for $1366.35 with APV 12279Z C-3880 $1366.35 on 30th August at 3:10:37PM and not $718.00. The customer cancelled this booking with-in 24hrs so this soft approval was never charged to her account. Bank statement sent by the customer clearly shows that this charge was never processed thus there was no refund due.
The customer bought a $718 ticket from another company on 24th August, not with us.The customer without checking her details has sent incorrect complaint in our name , we request the customer to first check the details of the transactions she made

They LIE through their teeth and claim to be affiliated with the airline then pressure you into making a split decision based on fear. Then these morons force you to speak to the scam artist that stole your money to begin with when you call to confront them and request a refund. Negative experience: Exceedingly rude customer service. The lady who picked up the phone on 10/09/2023 at 2:18PM EST was ill-mannered and disrespectful individual. I called back again to get her name since she hung up the phone on me while I was speaking, but they could not tell me. I don't recommand them at all.

Negative experience: I wish I could select -5 stars because they’re for sure a scam. I booked 2 fly ticket with them last year. They canceled one and them and did not want to give me a refund. They keep on blocking my calls and putting me on hold. I called back the day after the guy told me that they would give me a credit for a next fly. I took it because it’s better then nothing. This year when a call to use the credit no one answer the line for the credit ticket by coincidence and the only line working is the one for new reservation. They switched it to one (which was by far one of the most expensive) and told me they could not refund a certain part of the charges equaling about $40. The flight is not until December and one of the initial flights changed already and we received an email saying that we had to confirm or the tickets could not be confirmed. The agent “Alberb” spoke over me as I attempted to explain my need to cancel my flight due to another flight that was cancelled due to weather. We were able to check your booking with United Airlines and would like to share you had purchased a Basic Economy Fare with United airlines which is the lowest fare option offered by United Airline. Basic Economy fares bring you the same Main Cabin experience at a lower cost, in exchange for some airline restrictions: Travelers are limited to 1 item that fits under the seat (no access to overhead bin). Seats are assigned at the airport and upgrades are not available. Tickets are non-refundable and non-changeable.
The fee of $99 is charged by United Airlines if you want to reschedule your flight in future as per your ticket validity not by us. We have only charged a processing fee of $25.00 as per the terms of the purchase. We recommend communication via email [email protected] as phone lines may be busy due to high volume of calls.

5. 2) Why does schedule change take place: Occasionally the airlines make changes to their flight schedules to accommodate changes in equipment, routing, or capacity? Airlines may also make changes due to inclement weather, mechanical or crew issues. Sometimes the changes are significant and result in a change to the departure time, departure city, arrival city, or date of travel. Some of these changes are minor and may involve a change of aircraft, flight number, or a slight change in departure and/or arrival time.

Negative experience: Cancelled flight in March 2020 due to Covid outbreak in the USA. When contacting company for refund, they said they had to have Booking ID to reimburse funds. We could not locate the number at that time. Several emails & phone calls were sent regarding the situation. Again they said they couldn’t help. Negative experience: I just spent 50 minutes on hold so that I may buy another ticket just like the ticket I just bought last week for my son. I gave the guy my booking ID number. Negative experience: Public Service Announce to those who are thinking about booking or have booked tickets with Air Tkt with your travel needs. Read the Terms and Conditions. Yes, there is a $75 service fee for each passenger for any changes to flights for example; the times of departures made by the airlines. My issue with this is that customers are not given courtesy email or phone calls about fees for revalidating tickets due to departure changes or cancellations. You will receive a notice from the airlines about scheduled change followed by an email from Air Tkt informing customers about the change. Email will state "We have been advised by the airlines about the schedule change in your flight(s). Please review the given flight information carefully and reply us back to confirm the changes so we can exchange/re-validate your ticket(s). If you will not reply to the email, you might miss the flight." I replied with "I am good with schedule change". After a day or two, my credit was charged $140 without my consent; verbally or written. I called Air Tkt's customer service to inquire about the charge and was informed that it was fee for the revalidation of our tickets. I explained to representative that it is the airline who made the change and it's out of my control. I also mentioned that the tickets were paid in full. Secondly, I asked why did my credit card get charged without verbal or written authorization? I requested for refund of fees which was denied. He kept referring to "term and conditions". I stated to the customer service representative that customers should be given a courtesy phone call or email stating the fee before charging credit cards. I told the representative that Air Tkt has a bad business practice that deceives customers. In all of my years traveling and dealing with various travel agencies; this is by far the worst experience I have ever had. My recommendation for customers when faced with similar situation is to ignore Air Tkt's email and confirm with the airlines yourself to avoid paying the unnecessary fees. The tickets are good as long as passengers arrive at the airport on time for their scheduled departure flights.

Soon after buying the tickets, they started calling us stating that the airline changed the times of the flight and they have to charge me up to 75 for each ticket and if I cancel I will lose all the money of the tickets because they were 'non-refundable''. I agree the first time because I was afraid to lose the tickets. Plus their clauses are very vague and made me believe that the charge would be if I made the changes not the airline. They continue trying to charge me over and over and ended charging me up to 300 dollars in changes of the flight that was out of my control. So I risked it all and decided to cancel the tickets, however before I did I called the airline directly and was able to get out of the scheme and fortunately they allow me to cancel and refund the tickets in full.

My flight was automatically updated by the airline itself and this company charged a fifty dollar reauthorization fee (which they did not previously inform about). Very unhappy, I already can't afford to fly, let alone keep paying more money every time the flight schedule is changed, which happens pretty frequently when you book in advance. I hope they respond to this bad review, since they won't respond to my calls.

For July 2020 me and my fiancé bought a ticket to our hometown in Cape Verde and due to the pandemic our flight were cancel. Negative experience: SCAM ALERT! I used AirTkt to book R/T international flights for Feb 2020 and needed to be changed due to pandemic lockdown. I have called every month for the PAST YEAR with no resolution on the ticket refund (they knew what they were doing) so that too much time would pass for me dispute the charge. They were low enough to charge a change fee on each ticket even though travel was not allowed and advised that if I book and need to change again due to travel conditions I would be penalized half the price of the ticket. Here is a prime example of a company that is capitalizing on the pandemic.

Negative experience: BEWARE! This is a very unethical business. They sold me their “Platinum” Travel Assist plan, which is advertised to be the only way to avoid paying their exorbitant service fees for any changes to your reservation. Once they had my credit card information, they proceeded to violate their own policy by making an additional unauthorized charge to my credit card of $300 six weeks later after the AIRLINE had made an AUTOMATIC change to the flight times on my reservation six weeks earlier when the airline’s flight schedules got updated. The airline automatically placed me on an alternate flight when their schedules changed, which is a totally normal and routine occurrence, and is to be expected, especially when purchasing tickets well in advance. This routine update to me reservation has handled entirely by the airline. Six weeks later, this company charged me a $300 “service fee” once they found out that the airline had updated my reservation due to a routine update in their flight schedules. This was an unauthorized charge to a credit card that they had on file from the original booking. Even if I had requested a change service, the Platinum plan coverage that they sold me up front should have covered it with no fee. Note that the Platinum plan is different than the Premium plan.

Negative experience: They said I had a credit to fly on the interjet but I call interjet and the phone is disconnected. The website does not work for interjet. Our flights were canceled due to Covid 19. This was in April 24,2020, it is Dec now. I seriously believe the Attorney General should contacted. I book my flight from Airtkt and no one else. Negative experience: This company is sham. Avoid at all cost! They have been lying to me about my refund and been holding my money. I got the airline to refund my unused tickets due to COVID and the airline indeed issued the refund but to airtxt instead. They kept accusing me of lying saying that the airline never agreed to a refund so I sent them the confirmation email form the airline and screenshots from the website directly. After a month of negotiations, they told me either they refund me only half of my money or i can keep it all with them as credit. I explained to them i needed my full refund not half but the representative got rude, started screaming and hung up on me. Your business is a joke and I should have read the reviews first!

Negative experience: When booking my ticket there was a second step to authorize the payment of which I did not authorize. They went ahead and charged my credit Card then when I called they charged me a $50 cancellation fee. Poor customer service the agent refused to allow me to speak to his supervisor and then proceeded to hang up on me. Cheap prices but you get what you pay for, I will never book through this agency again. Also I left this review on their website and it is no where to be found so when I continued looking I did not find a single review with less than 4 stars but most had 5 so they are clearly filtering their review on their website.

Negative experience: I made the mistake of purchasing tickets with this company. I regret it dearly! I agree with most of the comments posted here. I have had a horrible experience with them. They barely speak English, they are not customer service oriented, they have been rude to me and have threatened to charge me $50, if I cancel. They keep telling that if they verify a bit more information, then they will send me the E-Ticket. That started via text, email, and phone call over 24 hours ago. That has yet to happen. It has been a nightmare! Do not purchase tickets from this company and tell everyone you know not to do it either!!!

Negative experience: I bought tickets through Latinofare since they had the best pricing. Long story but please read. I got an email stating I won’t get my e-tickets until verification is complete. I went online and did that. Then I got a call and an email stating the transition is on hold pending verification. I checked my bank account and my charge went through and processed by Aeromexico. I called and was on hold for about 30 minutes and when I finally got a hold of something I couldn’t understand what he was saying. He told me I need to verify some info and to confirm my name, # and address because my bank couldn’t verify that info for them. Thought that was strange and he could tell I hesitated so he said they can charge my account an amount less the $5 and they’ll refund me. Thought that was strange as well but he did it anyway. Then I was sent an email that I had to reply to and confirm. He told me I had to write something similar to the sample response which I’ll post. “I have read and reviewed the reservation including passenger names, flight details, travel date and charges for Eros Tours & Travel booking ID . I have found, all information is correct and keeping with all applicable laws, I agree and authorize third party payment for this booking and accept charges of USD on my card. I hereby acknowledge and agree that I am purchasing non-refundable (unless fare rules permits), non-transferable ticket(s). I also understand and agree that it is my responsibility to review the final amount and the flight information for the booking ID prior to making a purchase and confirming this transition. I agree that after the airline ticket(s) has been issued, I will not file a challenge or dispute to the charge that will be placed on my card for the above amount.” That seemed super sketch as I have purchased online flights from third parties. I asked if I had to do this now and he said yes right away. I decided I needed time and he got upset. I called my bank right away and they said DO NOT reply to them and to call Aeromexico. I explained what happened and they said everything is good on their end and they sent me my purchase confirmation. Long store but be careful. I first got an email from latinofare then another one but the email is from a company called airtkt. I think they were trying to double charge me and have me sign away saying I can’t dispute that second charge. Airtkt and Eros tours are related. Google before purchase!!!
Our system was unable to process E ticket for the booking ID due to a third party payment method used which is why the system could not verify and authenticate as per the security norms which are designed to protect our customer from any potential online fraud and unauthorized activity on their card.
Negative experience: This is the worst company you ever want to purchase air ticket!!! I bought a ticket on its website, didn't receive confirmation, made calls, had to wait 30+ minutes each time to talk to an agent, all agents I talked to are the hardest to understand English speaking persons. After more than 5 hours and multiple calls, my credit cards still get charged twice and the promised E-ticket is still not insight. I'm still working on it, in the mean time, WATCH OUT!!! 2/13/2019

Fantastic experience: So I booked a ticket to Thailand for 3 of my friends got a nice deal for a trip in June. Overall it was a great experience just had to wait a tiny bit over the phone but it was worth it since the price was cheaper than other websites. Fantastic experience: found them on top list for flights to India, i booked and got tickets in less than 1hr. no hassle. website is easy and clear no gimmicks no hidden cost. gave my seat and meal request and got same with airline. they called my dad only once as he was paying for my ticket. i think its a good way to make sure no one is misusing card . yes they take extra steps to verify purchase but i feel with such high rate of fraud its good. better be safe than sorry . well done guys ! thanks for putting my trip together. big shout to Lisa who helped me.

Negative experience: DO NOT buy tickets through this agency. I bought a ticket and they wouldn't send me the e-ticket called them twice and I would be on hold for hours. The people you speak to barely speak English. I called my credit card company and there were other charges in there from them that I wasn't aware of.
Negative experience: Fraud! Fraud! Fraud! The price promised by this company of 500 dollars of round trip tickets doubled when they billed my credit card. We discovered the a bill on our credit card vastly differed than what was sent to us by email. Avoid like the plague!!!! You have been warned.

Called 5 times on two different phones, with wait times over 30 minutes long each time to simply have the operator pick up and then hang up immediately. Keep in mind, this is a company run by grown men who knowingly train their employees like this. Finally, a man picked up who had a THICK Indian accent and had trouble understanding. He basically calls me an idiot and then HANGS UP. WHAT? I finally figured it out myself, no thanks to the support. I will definitely not be using this company in the future, even if it was free. Negative experience: This is a sketchy site. It cost me 300 bucks reschedule fee (I'm lucky I did not have to pay for the entire trip again). If you pay with credit card, your US credit card will sometimes not work but you will get no email regarding the issue. Instead you get a congratulations screen. When I got to the airport, on the day of my 2 month round the world trip, I found out that no ticket had been reserved in my name through airtkt. Had to delay my trip for a day and pay 300 bucks to the airline to reschedule me. Their prices might seem lower then competitors but expect to have issues like this when booking through them.
Negative experience: AVOID at all costs. *If you have any difficulties at all, expect the end result to be unfavorable to you* Customer service is abysmal- 30 to 40 attempted calls to customer service were met with a "the party you are trying to reach is unavailable". If you do get through, expect to wait for 45 minutes. There is no "live chat" button- if it pops up at all it does so on its own. This company also operates as Eros Travel, and Cheap Fare Guru, both with universally horrendous reviews. Their apparent business model is to take your money, provide as little service as possible, and part ways with you. Expect to be misdirected, have your time wasted, and ultimately be disappointed.
