Negative experience: Same experience as everyone else says. Booked a flight ATL-HOU for $88 via Delta. They called me back and said the price advertised was not available and I could book for nearly $600. I was looking directly at the Delta website and they had the SAME EXACT flight available for $149. Yet these people were trying to get me to pay $600. Yeah...no.

Negative experience: BEWARE!! This site is a total scam. If you book a flight on this site, the next day they will call you back saying your fare is no longer available. They will then offer you a new fare for much much more than they originally quoted you.

Negative experience: you'll find several reviews like this. you'll get a great deal but the next day you'll get an email saying they won't be able to respect low rate, but you can still keep your booking at a higher rate. even after receiving a confirmation email. Terrible place to book flights!

Negative experience: Saw a great deal online from Denver to Shannon for $719 so I booked it and received a confirmation email however I was not charged. Next day I received a call which I had just missed so I called back. I was told that my flight was no longer available with the discount I had received. When I asked why I why I was told that someone booked the last discounted ticket ahead of me. They told me that they had tried to contact me the day before but nobody in fact had tried to do so. I was told that I needed to reschedule my flight. I was hesitant but agreed to listen to what options I had left as I had no other option. I was given different scheduled flight times on the same date which were not ideal and was told the total amount was $1,169. I told the gentleman that if they wanted to reschedule my flight at least honor the price advertised online. They refused to do so and I had to other option but to pay the $1,169. This in NOT FAIR.

Negative experience: Scam.. Same thing happened to me. We got emergency so I need to book a flight right away, i payed and have confirmation#. The following day called me and said thats not the correct amount,it was $300+ more. We dont have a choice that time but i said to myself i need to complaint this so it will not happen again to other people.we need to do something to stop this.

Negative experience: SCAM! Bait and switch.. do not fall for there bs. They will tell you you are booked and then at the last minute a problem will occur but they can book you at a higher price. And also they are speaking to you from a call center on the other side of the world.

Negative experience: Exactly what others have said. The website advertised one price and then two hours later somebody named Jose, supposedly, )I really doubt that was his name) called and said that advertised price isn’t available any longer and now it was going to be $1500 more. This is absurd. If you advertise a price, you should have to honor that price.

Negative experience: Total SCAM! They advertise the tickets for a lower price, after purchasing the tickets and giving you a reference number that is legit, they will call you saying the airline (United, in this case)is fully booked and you need to purchase a ticket on different flight. But for double the price. I called United just to confirm if that was true, and they said to stay clear of cheapbestfares website. They are total scammers, bait you into buying a cheaper ticket only to call you back like a thousand times, trying to get more money. Never again, lesson learnt!

Negative experience: Scam ... Scam... Scam they have a common practice of selling tickets and then the next day calling you back to up sale the ticket that you got from them at discounted price meanwhile telling the consumer that their discounted flight was never confirmed with a E ticket. Shane, Alex, Frank,( Patrick The supervisor), Ryan and Denver called me back to back to try to scam me. They all sound the same and they will try to keep you on the phone to try to get you to make a 800 purchase . They remove your money off your card and the banks can trace it so it has to be investigated by your bank. These scam artist will leave you moneyless without a trace.

Negative experience: I OWN TRAVEL AGENCY AND BOUGHT TICKETS FOR 2 CUSTOMERS . NEXT DAY THEY RECIVE CALLS FROM THAT COMPANY AND EMAILS - THEY DONT HAVE SEATS!!!!! AND ASK FOR MORE MONEY!!!! DONT USE THAT COMPANY !!!!ITS SCAAAAAAAMMMMMMMMM!!!!!!!! STAY AWAY FROM THEM!!!!!!!!!

Negative experience: Bait and switch, fake company, ploy. Booked my tickets and then called the number immediately, after getting the confirmation email provided, to find out how to check the status (as the link didn’t work). This all happened within 5 minutes of purchase. When the person answered they told me it must have been a glitch and that the prices were now double what I paid (and that was with the discounts the person was throwing at me “you can’t get a better price anywhere else still”. Do not use!!!

Negative experience: Booked a flight through, I guess was a third party, they had this companies ticket prices. Put in all my info including card and received a message saying I would receive a confirmation email. Waited for 30 minutes on email but was letting my family know I would be seeing them for Halloween and making other plans until I got the email. After waiting with no email I go back to the sight homepage and call. I am told by Hindustan man that "those tickets are sold out but he can give me tickets for $1,387. DOUBLE THE PRICE. Total bait and switch. Don't go through 3 party.

Negative experience: They first sell it to you for cheap and then call you back with an excuse to charge you for more. This Seems to be their business model as testified by others. The reviews speak for themselves. They can get fake 5 star reviews, but the 1 star reviews are the legit ones. RUN RUN RUN AWAY!!!!

Negative experience: I am waiting now since March 2020 for an official refund from Travelcation/Cheapbestfares. United cancelled the flights due to COV19. I received a future credit from United which was useless due to the restrictions. Due to the latest changes I asked United to use the credit but was notified that the ticket trader Travelcation requested a refund in my name. Cheapbestfares is excusing the delay due to missing response from United. United is excusing that they refunded according to the requestor. Travelcation does not know anything. I had now several conversations with the travel desk support hotline from Cheapbestfares with the typical excuse (My supervisor works on it, We will call you back, please wait 48hr for response, the refund process will take 1 week).

Negative experience: Do not believe their prices. At first you will book and they will call you later saying they don’t have anymore seat in economy and offer you a more expensive option. FRAUDDDD

Negative experience: I have read the comments and everyone that has left negative comments are very consistent with my experience. This is a scam site and I will never use them again, they should not be able to do business. They called me tell me that my flights were not confirmed and they could not sell me the tickets at the price I booked it at and cancelled my tickets because I would not pay 3x more. The worst company ever! Do not use them.

I don't know how this company is allowed to operate like this. - They ask for lots of personal information the airlines don't require - They post flat out inaccurate prices to get your credit card number - Then an operator out of India calls you at 11pm at night claiming that you owe them more money or they will cancel your flight That enough for ya? Negative experience: TICKET SCAM- PLEASE SHARE **Cheapbestflights.com are a scam. My brother died earlier this week and I had to buy a ticket to South Carolina. I booked with Priceline but found a cheaper one with cheapbestfares.com!! They called me after the time to cancel and told me there were no open spots on airplane and I had to go with more expensive ones and I paid almost double on flights from Quote!!

Negative experience: Ok so I decided to go against the bad reviews and take my chances saying " no way I'll get scammed" WELL, needless to say, I booked a flight for me and my wife, came out to $685 for both of us after they gave a $1098 discount, all day long the status said in progress so I finally decided to call and I got the guys that have been trying to extend my car insurance warranty for the past 3 years(small world huh) and he says in his gas station owner accent " vedy vedy soddy, des one flight is overbook, I can offer you Des one flight for $1599" WOW, Who would have guessed it was a scam, STAY AWAY FROM THIS SITE

Negative experience: Purchased tickets to Vegas on May 16, 2022 and received a confirmation email. However, the next day we were told that flight was no longer available. Then the flight they offered us was much higher! Definitely do not use this company!

Their model seems to be offering good rates on the tickets sending you confirmation with flight details and then a day or two later emailing you and telling they are unable to get you the seats because flight is overbooked. As a solution they offered to upgrade to main cabin with double of the tickets cost. Read comments below and everyone seems to have the same issue.

I WAS ALSO OFFERED ANOTHER AIRLINE. I ASKED FOR A SUPERVISOR. JESSICA THE SUPERVISOR CAME ON THE CALL. SHE ROLF ME THAT THEY COULD NOT HELP ME, THAT A CONFIRMATION DOES NOT MEAN THAT YOUR SEAT IS AVAILABLE. SHR OFFERRED ME A SEAT IN SOUTHEEST AT $657. I ASKED HER TO APPLY THE $100 OFF DISCOUNT TO THE RATE, SHE REFUSED. I WAS THEN OFFERRED A RATE OF $1200 TO FLY ON THE ORIGINAL AIRLINE THAT I HAD THE LOWEST SISCOUNT ON. I HUNG UP THE PHONE. JESSICA AND CHEPBESTFARES ARE REDICULOUS!

Negative experience: They deserve negative stars and a huge warning label. Horrible company and staff to deal with. Booked a flight and received an email with all the information and price. Good thing I called the next day to inquire about meal and the guy said that the price that I agreed to and received and email is no longer available and now have to pay 2k more. They show you something online and when you call them price is no longer available. Stay away from this site. Negative 5 starts.

Negative experience: On Sunday I booked 3 tickets at a good price, I received an email from this agency confirming the transaction. The next day I receive an email from them that they needed to contact me to talk about the reservation. When I called, they told me that the flight I had selected did not have a seat available in economy class, but they did have a seat in first class for an amount of $1,600 more. I told them that I would not accept that option, so they offered me a flight similar to the one I had but with two different airlines, making stops between each flight with different hours and $100 more for each ticket. I hang up the call, they have been calling all day, they leave me a message that they are going to cancel my reservation, but they don't and they keep calling. They haven't charged my card yet, I'll call my bank to cancel the card I use so they don't charge me and then they don't want to refund me. DO NOT USE THIS AGENCY, THEY ARE A FRAUD, THEY ARE THIEVES.

Negative experience: Bait and switch , u get completely through the booking process on a fare that is 10-20% better than the other volume 3rd party travel agencies, but your email notification leaves you in limbo, hiding behind notifications such as "IN PROGRESS", boguess Confirmation #'s (only internal to cheapbestfares, not the Airline), or tricky disclaimers such as "dynamic pricing ".Then the shocker for one of the following reasons, you arent getting the agreed upon fare:: 1) falsely assert you payment was declined 2)The airline failed to honor your booking 3) The flight was overbooked,. Then they bump the price 100% as they "help you" keep your seats. Such BS, I filed a complaint on BBB site. Review the complaints there too, this is there MO! USE ONLY IF YOU WANT PAY MORE THAN THE AIRLINE IS ASKING!

Negative experience: This is definitely a bait and switch online booking/travel service. Booked airfare with payment verification, only to be notified 22 hours later, that it couldn't be booked. Tried saving 5.00 over priceline and Travelocity, ended up costing me 58.00 more when trying to rebook a day later. Please avoid this website, trust me, I have been booking flights for 30 years, this is not the place to book at!!

Negative experience: Two weeks ago, I went through Cheapbestfares to buy my son, who is in the Navy, a plane ticket home for Christmas. I found a good round-trip trip fare for $371. About four days later, Cheapbestfares emailed my son and advised him the price had now jumped to $598. When I contacted the "English" speaking representative was unintelligible. After over thirty minutes, I was finally able to understand that the rep was telling me that the fare I originally paid for was no longer available. But why was it still advertised? This is a bait & switch company and I will never even remotely think about using them again. They should have a big red sign that says "WE CHEAT YOU OUT OF MONEY".

Negative experience: It has been a nightmare dealing with this agency. They tried to charge me $240 after confirmation of my ticket then tried to charge me $580 on top of the money I had already paid for my ticket. They are very dishonest. Please avoid and just book directly with the airline if you can.

I booked tickets to Vegas at a good price, received my confirmation and itinerary within minutes from them and delta. The next day I received an email stating I needed to call them about my reservation. When I called I was told by Ted Miller who couldn’t speak English very well that those tickets were no longer available but for $800 more I could book the same flight. Is that ok I just charge your card? He said! I replied absolutely not!!! I asked for a supervisor to speak to and he said he was the supervisor. He told me to read the fine print prices are subject to change. I have booked many many flights never have I encountered anything like this company. I never got to speak to a supervisor or boss. He promised me a call back, never received a call back. A horrible experience stay clear of this company!!!

Negative experience: They call me after my flights were booked and told me that the flight is not available, they offer me an "option" for over 100 dollars more, otherwise I have to agree to cancel, I did not agree and I received an email saying: "As per the telephonic request, the flight reservation now stands cancelled". Negative experience: At first I got a good deal at this site but the flight was cancelled due to covid. I only got a credit and not a full refund. When I rebooked my flights through them, the flights were much more expensive. I wouldn't use them again.

Negative experience: Like many others, I have yet to receive a refund for tickets purchased for 2020. I have called and emailed dozens of times, and I am always told that the refund should be occurring in the next couple of weeks. It took me months to even get the booking numbers that they used so that I could contact the airlines personally. If you are looking to save a buck, this is not the place.

Negative experience: I have been promised my money back since June 2020. I have been so patient. They owe me $1,740 and I have been calling 5 times a week. Andrew who's in charge of the finances keeps lying to me and giving new dates every month as to when my money will arrive... the last one was supposed to be February 15th... nothing yet. I tried to call their office for 10 days now and every single time a new excuse "Andrew is on medical leave", "Andrew is at his brother's wedding" "there are no supervisor available ". This is the biggest scam. I will keep calling until I get my money. DO NOT EVER booked through this agency. Oh, they also keep telling me that if I keep asking for my money they will have to refuse my call.... ha! Funny

Negative experience: This company representative lied when we asked them if we we were dealing directly with Delta Airlines for a cancellation. He said yes. They charged us a $ 100 cancellation fee under false pretenses. Delta Airlines had zero cancellation fee. We tried to email and call the company by the published email and phone number to get a refund. We got no response. Don't get taken by this outfit.

Should have never got involved with, but I guess this is the price when you want to be cheap. Do not recommend.

Negative experience: I would like to change my star rating. I confirmed all my information and booked only to be called back because I could not include checked bags. I chose my flight around the information given, and was told checked bags would cost $150 each way if I booked via the online site. Lots of conflicting information, and misinformation. Negative experience: Well I booked online with them I received an email with confirmation code I cofirmed with airline and than 3 hrs later I get a call from Sharon(not real name for sure)and demaned it an increase of $600on the tickest or will cancell my reservatio when I stated "NO" she said just like that I just canceled your reservation you dont have anything anymore"I was shocked..when I called theonline travel they stated that the airline cancelled and not confirmed the ticket..I called on conference call and the airline stated that the online travel agencu cancelled the reservation..when ask them again they keep saying that it qas not confirmed by airline even that the airline said the online agency cancelled exavtly what the lady said ruddelly I cancelled you reservation you dont have nothing..no worrie I call tomorrow BBB and have a chat with them also I called airline and filling a complan on the online partner..I cant believe that demanding $600 or else

Negative experience: This company is extremely shady. I booked a flight (four tickets) through them and got a confirmation number. They emailed me the following day requesting I call them. When I called they informed me that the airfare had gone up and that since they had not billed my card the night before, I would have to pay the higher fare, almost double the original price. I booked the same flight cheaper through another site. Two hours later they had the same flight advertised for the original price. They just tried to squeeze me for more money.

Negative experience: Zero stars! Worst experience ever! I booked a RT flight for $403 and received my confirmation. The next day customer service rep called me and stated the fare rate no longer existed and the same flight would cost $757. When I replied there is no way I would be OK with that, the customer Rep stated he would help/search for a lower flight rate. He came up with $657. Again totally unacceptable! I told them how can they advertise/post/confirm a fare and the next day so they could no longer honor it?! In my over 35 years of traveling I have never booked a flight, and had the company call and cancel it the next day. Will never use this site again and caution anyone else who uses it..

Negative experience: As most everyone else said, it's a scam? You book this stuff online and everything looks great, then 2 days later you get an email and a phone call saying that your reservation was canceled due to you not responding back to the email that they sent 3 hours before the phone call. I wouldn't waste another minute messing with these clowns, they are not worth it.

Negative experience: If it was possible to give them no stars I would. Worst experience I’ve had. I booked a flight for 6 people and came to a total of 3,100. The next day I got a call saying I needed to call them because they had an issue. I called and they told me the deal I got was not existent and my total rose to 4,785. I was on the phone for 3 hours and got nowhere. There is no reason for them to tell me my flight was booked and then suddenly change that especially when I was relying on those tickets to get my family to where I currently am. I tried speaking to a manager but I was never actually in contact with said manager. Worst booking site out there for sure and for sure will never go to them again.

Negative experience: Yes ! all this bad reviews its true, i just have the same situation, i purchase an international fly ticket got the confirmation on my email, called them next day to confirm everything and was told the ticket that i purchased is not available but the similar ones are $250 more than i paid, i asked for a supervisor and they refuse to transfer, i am surprised how they even still have the licence to sell fly tickets, this agency should be out of business, don't use them.

I am heading to San Diego, but due to illness and a doctor's appointment, I had to delay my trip by one day. I called to switch my flight reservation and spoke with Dallas. He said that normally, the flight won't make any changes and will still charge me, but said he'd speak with them to try and make the change anyway. After waiting on hold for a bit, Dallas came back on to say that he'd convinced the flight to make the change and give me a refund for the night I wouldn't be there! I was so grateful! It's so refreshing to have people like Dallas working in customer service. He truly understands what it is to provide amazing customer service!

Negative experience: Cheap Best Fares is a scam .. COMPLETE FRAUD. You will think that you're getting a great deal (saving a hundred or so dollars), you'll book it and then they will cancel the reservation claiming that WE PROVIDED WRONG CARD DETAILS ( when i checked my payment details as i took screenshot and also got in email from them, was COMPLETELY CORRECT) , it was just an excuse of them to increase the fare ,Then they'll try to sell you a flight at a higher price. DO NOT BUY FROM THEM. They have looted many customers and strict action should be taken against them.

Negative experience: Booked a flight online . Everything looked ok , I received this weird looking docu telling me I was set . An hr later I got a call from ‘agency’ to tell me I have been changed from United to AA for the same price just a slight difference in flight times . Ok I was fine with that. Then they sent another email that I had to reas terms and conditions in the smallest, lightest print EVER. Completely unreadable even if I zoomed in . Three days have gone by and they still haven’t REALLY confirmed my flight . Every time I call they say wait 24 hrs for ‘processing’ yo go through . This has NEVER happened before with other booking agencies. Cheapbestfares was very professional and kept assuring me I will be flying the day of , but still no confirmation and STILL telling me I must wait 8hrs today , and if I’m 8-9 hrs I don’t get a call I can cancelled my rsvp. After they made me wait 3days for their BS. Imagine you had to fly out the next day !? They are NOT BBB accredited. You ask questions and they get annoyed saying they’re helping YOU get the cheapest tickets ! 3 days for a confirmation. I doubt Il ever go through then again ! I mean 3days waiting to see if they got you !!!! Omg NOT a reliable ‘agency’ which is NOT a real agency . Even an employee said that .

Negative experience: I found a good deal on flights through CheapBestFares, and snatched it quickly. 24 hours later I get an email saying that my tickets were cancelled, with no explanation. So I called and asked why, and they said it was because the price they had advertised online was not true. The new price was MORE THAN DOUBLE what they advertised. Negative experience: Cheap Best Fares is a scam. You will think that you're getting a great deal (saving a hundred or so dollars), you'll book it and then they will cancel the reservation claiming that the fare is no longer available. Then they'll try to sell you a flight at a higher price. DO NOT BUY FROM THEM.

Negative experience: **BEWARE** Do not book with this company. We used the site to book a recent trip for 2 adults & 1 child. When we booked, we "booked" actual assigned seats. Unable to print boarding passes prior to arrival to the airport. Called the booking company, barely could understand due to the poor English of customer service!! Finally understood enough that we had to wait until we arrived at the airport to get boarding passes. Once we arrived at the airport and checked in, all of our seats were all over the aircraft. Mind you, we have one child. When we told the young lady we had booked, "X Y & Z" seats. We were told we initially had those seats but the booking agency had "cancelled" those particular seats for us. Also, we paid $1200 for 3 airline tickets. But once at the airport, found out our tickets only cost $748. I guess the $350 difference was this website's commission. I called back to the booking company to ask about the price discrepancy. They were extremely rude. Only explanation "Mike" would give, was "We buy in bulk". When I explained that didn't make sense. That if they buy in bulk, then the cost of the tickets ahould have been cheaper than what the airline was offering. Not more! The next statement was "You don't understand how we do business". Yes, I do...it's BAD business!! We will NEVER use this site again!!

Fantastic experience: I used to hate waiting for a promotion from an airline to be released. Cheap Best Fares made it so easy and affordable when I was booking my vacation with my fiancé. No longer will go back to waiting for an email from an airline promotion only to be able to fly at a certain time to get the “deal”
