Positive experience: Hawaiian Travel did a fine job getting us organized and had many suggestions on where to go and what to see. All of their suggestions and organization was very helpful. We even had added a few changes to the itinerary on the fly while traveling and the agent jumped right in and worked it out for us. She took our huge list of things we thought we might be interested in seeing or doing and then used her experience to help us sort out the things that would fit. Fantastic experience: We used this agency for our family trip to Hawaii and were so glad we did. They planned a wonderful vacation at such a beautiful place to stay. It’s hard to imagine, but just everything seemed to go like clockwork. The place was wonderful, their recommendations on the mark. Of course the island is beautiful and the luau and snorkeling were big hits. We were with 5 grandkids who seem to enjoy every single minute, which certainly makes grandparents smile. Fantastic experience: My husband and I just got back from an amazing 25th Anniversary trip to The Big Island and Maui. We found Laura through a family member who recently used her also. I cannot say enough great things about Laura. From the beginning she listened to our wishes. She helped us narrow down suggestions for hotels and had great insight to what each had to offer and how that was aligned with our budget. She was always listening to our questions, was very responsive, and gave advice and tips along the way to tweak and add/delete what we were thinking. At one point we had given her the wrong dates. I immediately called to correct the error. She was on it, was able to change my dates, keeping all the same, finding the new flights, and at a lower price. We had the best time, was truly a trip of a lifetime. We cannot wait to put our photos together in an album to reflect for years to come. Fantastic experience: My family just got back from our first vacation in 18 years. We had our hearts set on Hawaii for a long time. Unsure of how to go about, it I looked into travel agents for Hawaii only. I came upon Laura and Brain with Hawaiian Travel and let me tell you, they blew me away. With my first phone call I knew I made the right decision. I told Laura what we were interested in and the next day I have a wealth of information about all of the islands and which one would be best for my family. The proposed pricing and itinerary was just amazing and punctual. Once the wheels were set in motion it was all planned out in days. Hawaiian Travel was in contact with me about everything all we had to do was show up. Well, we didn’t make in July like planned. Our flight was cancelled after 15 hours of waiting at the airport. When things were going south that day I immediately called Laura and explained and she was so helpful in trying to get us out of the airport and to our connecting flight. I was crushed but not for long. The only thing I had to worry about was when we wanted to reschedule, Laura took care of the rest. Fantastic experience: We are on a three island excursion with multiple things at each island. Bryan and Laura mapped out everything for us and arranged travel , rent cars and excursions at each island. Everything has gone off without a hitch. Fantastic experience: I happened to call Hawaiian Travel when I booked my trip to Hawaii. I had no idea what to do or where to stay while I was there. We booked a cruise and decided to travel early to see more of Hawaii before our ship sailed. Laura and Bob were absolutely wonderful. They booked our flight, even managed an upgrade, our hotel and all of our activities. They even booked some of our excursions while we were on the ship and saved us so much money and gave us advise as to what to do and see to make the most of our trip. They put together a detailed trip itineray with links to all our excursions. They both spent so much time helping us make our plans. They gave great advise about what to see and where to eat. This saved us so much time and enabled us to make the most of our time there even while on the ship. They also kept in touch with us while we were on the trip to make sure we didnt have any problems, when a tropical storm was heading our way. Fantastic experience: Nothing but wonderful things to say about Laura and Hawaiian Travel! Laura planned the most perfect honeymoon for me and my husband. We had a bit of a hectic first day due to flight cancellations and delays at DFW, but Laura was working quickly behind the scenes to get us on new flights, figure out where our luggage was, and cancel our first excursion/first night at the hotel/first day of a car rental. She was literally an angel- we were so stressed out! When we got to Kona, she gave us wonderful recommendations, and we were able to fully relax. It was our first time visiting Hawaii and frankly didn't know where to start. She advised us on the best places to stay, excursions, and booked all of our flights, excursions, hotels, and car rentals. When our first flight was delayed, Laura was on the phone with me at 6:00 am advising me. We ended up changing airlines and she even submitted the refund for our baggage fees! Fantastic experience: Where to begin with Laura... She was excellent from the start and somehow became even more excellent throughout the entire planning process. My fiancee and I were planning our honeymoon to Hawaii, and I contacted Laura to help offload some of the prep amid planning our wedding. We were having our wedding on September 3rd, and we planned to spend two weeks in Oahu and in Maui directly after our wedding, starting on September 4th. Throughout the planning process, Laura basically lifted a huge weight off of my shoulders, as I felt I no longer needed to worry about any planning for the honeymoon, and could focus solely on the wedding. We basically told her the activities we wanted to do, from snorkeling and surfing, to waterfall rappelling and biking down a volcano (all were super awesome experiences, by the way). Once she had our list, she took it from there and booked everything for us within the budget we had agreed upon. Such a huge weight off of our shoulders, and even if her service ended there, she would still deserve this 5 star review. Unfortunately for the people of Maui, the Lahaina fires happened around the same time as our wedding. We were planning on staying in Kaanapali for a week in Maui, which is just north of Lahaina. The hotels canceled our reservations, and even some of our planned activities were canceled as well. We were sympathetic of course, and were even considering switching islands. However, Laura reassured us that she would fix everything and worked with us diligently to get us a hotel in Wailea instead. She made us feel like her number one priority, often emailing and calling us with information we weren't even privy to yet (i.e. this particular area in Maui is now closed, so we have to move these activities around, etc.). Laura completely took care of us right up until we left for our honeymoon, and we definitely wouldn't have been able to fix our reservations ourselves, as it was the week of our wedding. Additionally, we faced some activity cancellations while on our trip in Hawaii, as some of the tours experienced no-shows due to the fires. Laura completely handled all rescheduling for us, and we did not have to worry about a single thing on our vacation. I could go on further about how amazing the vacation that Laura planned for us was -- the hotels and activities were all incredible (she provided a detailed itinerary for us as well). She even sent some champagne and banana bread to our room upon our arrival in Wailea as a kind gesture to congratulate us on our wedding. But in this review, we want to reiterate that we seriously could not have managed to have a good honeymoon without Laura. She handled so many obstacles, tough timelines, and a packed itinerary for us. She was worth every single penny. Fantastic experience: We highly recommend reaching out to Laura from Hawaiian Travel for your complete Hawaii travel needs! It is apparent how much she enjoys the islands and has experienced things on the islands herself. Leading up to, during, and even after our trip, she was amazing to deal with. Knowing that we were bringing our teenage kids, she not only provided a vast variety of excursions and experiences but also highlighted specific experiences and excursions she felt would be great options for our family. Once we narrowed down our top experiences, she booked the excursions for us and created a schedule. A schedule may sound counter intuitive to the word vacation but it was honestly a life saver! The schedule provided a good balance of excursions and down time to relax or wander. A few months prior to leaving, the upper west coast of Maui was unexpectedly hit with the fire disaster, close to where we booked. Laura reached out letting us not to panic as she was going to Hawaii before we do and will provide an update. She recommended that we move our booking further south on the chance we lose our initial booking to making space for dislocated Hawaiians closer to the fire area. Her acknowledging this change and making recommendations put us at ease. During our trip, she reached out to ensure we had no issues. Near the end of our 10 day trip, we had a couple days left with no pre-set plans. We went on a snorkel tour a couple days prior which the whole family loved and wanted to do again. We reached out to Laura for a recommendation on another snorkel experience. She responded shortly with a recommended to rent snorkel gear and check out beaches known for great snorkeling walking distance from our rented condo. Once we returned home, more relaxed and tanned, Laura reached out again to ensure we enjoyed our first Hawaiian experience. We have nothing but positive things to say about Laura. If she recommends it, trust us, just do it! She helped set the stage for a beautiful family vacation!!

Fantastic experience: My only regret is I cannot give Hawaiian Travel more than 5 stars! What an amazing journey to Oahu and Kauai! I cannot recommend Laura with Hawaiian Travel enough. Having her make all the arrangements took all the worry out of messing something up. She upgraded our Hotel Oahu so that we had a view of Diamond Head and had an arrival gift waiting for us when we checked in. The Helicopter ride in Kauai was amazing and she was able to get my daughter and I front row seats next to the pilot. And she was with us even during the time we were in Hawaii helping us all along the way. Hire Laura and I guarantee you will not be disappointed.

Fantastic experience: Laura was wonderful to work with; she planned a fabulous honeymoon for us that we could not have made happen on our own. Her expertise in all things Hawaii meant that all of our flights, excursions and activities flowed seamlessly throughout the two weeks and we really didn’t have to worry about anything. We traveled between Oahu, Kauai and Maui, and we loved the resorts that Laura recommended for us. In Kauai, we fell in love with our room at the Royal Sonesta and the pool and beach were so beautiful and scenic. We would never have thought to request front row seating on our doors-off helicopter ride, but we are so glad that Laura did - this was probably our favorite and most unforgettable experience in Hawaii. We couldn’t have asked for better views or a more exciting flight. In Maui, we fell in LOVE with the Fairmont Kea Lani. Our room was spectacular with fabulous views, it was so comfortable, spacious, and clean, and everything we could have hoped. The resort was everything we wanted and more; the restaurants were wonderful, the pools and beach were perfection, and the service was impeccable. Laura was able to add complimentary breakfast for us every morning which made the start of our days easy and convenient. In Maui, Laura booked us a snorkeling trip with Trilogy to Molokini Crater which was a really awesome experience; the crew on the boat were all so nice and hospitable and we loved learning to snorkel with them. We have underwater photos from this excursion that we are really excited to frame in our home. We couldn’t be happier with how our honeymoon went and all of the planning that Laura took care of for us. She even thought of the little things that meant a lot - like booking our seats on the side of the plane with the best views of the islands. We will be cherishing these Hawaiian memories for a lifetime!

Fantastic experience: My wife and I got married 12 days after the world shut down for COVID in a small ceremony in our apartment. We postponed our honeymoon for 6 months and when we finally took it, a hurricane sat over our resort in Mexico and washed away the beach and turned our first-floor suite into an aquarium! For our 3rd anniversary, we decided to attempt our honeymoon again. I reached out to Laura a few months prior to the trip and started doing some research on what options there were and whether or not we could afford it. I gave Laura a little of our backstory and an idea of what we wanted and she put our whole vacation together in a matter of days. She laid out our options and once we made our choices, she booked everything on our behalf and got us set to go! The travel arrangements were almost flawless (my wife and I were separated by 1 row on our flight home) and the resort she booked for us was one of the nicest places we've ever stayed. Fantastic experience: This was our first trip to Hawaii so we wanted to make the most of our time & money while there. While we know many people that have visited Hawaii, I wanted the advice of a specialized travel agent because they have way more first hand experience of all the islands, resorts, and excursion companies. Any resort can look good online, but Laura and Bryan can help give real life insight! Trust their judgements!!! Hawaiian Travel is very professional and personable. They listen to your personal preferences and build from there. I appreciate their advice on where to make cuts when trying to make the numbers work. Fantastic experience: Laura from Hawaiian Travel helped us plan our first trip to Hawaii and we were extremely happy with our experience working with Laura. You can research and explore many online sites on your own but having a trip planner that knows the all the islands and best places to stay makes the planning super easy. Laura worked with us to on what islands to visit based on what our we wanted to see in Hawaii. We visited Oahu, Kauai, and Maui. Hawaiian Travel was able to get breakfast included in each hotel and worked with the hotels to request our room location had the best views possible. Laura’s recommendations and tips on when and how to visit sites proved valuable to maximize our time. Hawaiian Travel was available for us via both email and phone calls during our trip duration which is nice to know if you have any issues. We did need Laura’s help as we had a rain issue on Kauai for our island cruise and she was able to cancel a reservation for us and ensure our refund was processed. Fantastic experience: We had an absolutely amazing experience working with Laura and Bryan. We were celebrating Grandma's 70th birthday and having to coordinate 3 families from two states. Laura and Bryan were up to the task. They listened to what we were looking for and found activities for each of our unique needs, from individual couple activities to the whole family. The help didn't just stop when our trips and excursions were booked though, it extended to when we were actually in Maui, Hawaii. Rain had cancelled our pre-booked Luau, but Laura worked tirelessly to try and get us rebooked to our original choice. Even after determining there was no room for our party; Laura worked to find us an alternate location and it turned out wonderful. I know that travel agents have fallen out of favor, but I implore you to use Laura and Bryan for your Hawaiian travel needs. They know their stuff and are willing to go the extra mile - you just don't get service like this anymore. They prepared a Hawaii treat package for us with little Hawaiian treats, gifts for the kids, and custom bag tags. We will definitely be using them on our next trip.

Fantastic experience: Bryan at Hawaiian Travel is the best. I first contacted Hawaiian Travel and unlike the others I contacted, Hawaiian Travel called me back. Bryan is knowledgeable and very willing to help. He has wonderful ideas and suggestions. I contacted him because my family and I were unsure what islands we were going to travel to in Hawaii and Bryan steered us in the correct direction. Though they are not located in Hawaii, they travel there frequently and know exactly what to do when you get there. Besides the usual must-see spots (Pearl Harbor, the Bishop Museum, Waikiki, the North Shore on Oahu, plus Haleakala, Hana, and Lahaina on Maui, and so much more) we were able to discover so much more on our own, A lavish daily breakfast buffet included at the Hyatt Regency Waikiki? A room upgrade at the Maui Royal Lahaina when we checked in, since "Hawaiian Travel is one of our favorite travel agencies?" You can't make this stuff up. Fantastic experience: I decided to take the family on a 2 week Hawaiian vacation only a few weeks prior to departure. We had never been to Hawaii so I purchased a couple of travel books and plunged right in. Flash forward a few days later and I’m lying in bed with both books and more information and “tips” than I knew what to do with so I decided to google Hawaiian travel agents. Sent Bryan an email and from then on the process was so much easier and actually enjoyable! Bryan recommended Oahu and Maui and he and his wife Laura coordinated everything for us. Communication was outstanding, even receiving emails and reminder texts from Bryan and Laura for activities during our stay. We ended up having the vacation of a lifetime. They provided knowledge of the islands that I could never have known and took the time to understand the type of vacation we wanted. I will use them again on my next Hawaiian vacation!

The short of it is this: Bryan & Laura are consummate professionals in this regard: they KNOW Hawaii and have so thorough an understanding of the “traveler’s experience” re: Hawaii (from departure to return) that you thank yourself for utilizing their services. Fantastic experience: We utilized Laura to help book our first family trip to Hawaii. My wife and I took our 17 and 19 yr old boys. We had a lot of variation in what we were interested in seeing and doing and what the boys were interested in. Laura spent a lot of time talking with us about the various options and learning about what we were all interested in. She helped us settle on staying in Waikiki for the full trip, and helped us book all of our activities throughout the stay. We really had a wonderful time and felt like we did everything we could possibly do on Oahu that we had any interest in. It was truly a monumental trip that we will always remember, and that was in large part to the care Laura put in helping us identify the best fits. She was even able to get daily breakfast included at our hotel at no cost. When we arrived we learned that this breakfast retailed for $37/day - essentially providing a value of over $1,000 for our family. I've not used a travel agent for probably 20 years, but I have to say I would never visit Hawaii again without working through Laura. For such a large vacation investment - you want to be sure you're getting the best value for your entertainment dollar - and Laura gave us just that!

Fantastic experience: We had a really great experience working with Bryan and Laura for our week long trip to Maui! Bryan was very detail oriented and he really listened to what we wanted in our vacation. He booked everything for us so we didn't have to worry about it and he also provided better activity options when available. He helped us refund one of our activities which was cancelled due to bad weather during the trip. He had really great recommendations and helped us get everything we asked for. We had a blast biking down Haleakala, surfing, zip lining, etc. The whole week was an excellent trip and the Hyatt Regency Maui was an excellent place to call home for a week.

Fantastic experience: Bryan did an exceptional job of planning our vacation. We went to Maui for my son's wedding and we wanted to see Pearl Harbor as well. Bryan was very attentive to all of our wants and needs. This was not a small task being that Maui was just starting to open up from all covid restrictions. He was very informative on all the restrictions and planned our trip down to the finest detail. He was always available and responsive to any and all questions. Fantastic experience: I was very fortunate to find Hawaiian Travel. My wife and I celebrated our 30th wedding anniversary this year and decided on a trip to Hawaii. I started to plan the trip last year amist the pandemic, hoping everything would be back to normal by the time we booked our flight and made reservations for hotel, car rental, excursions, etc. Well...it wasn't. There were limited flights, booking reservations were virtually impossible, and there were no guarantees that the trip would even happen. I pretty much given up on the idea of going to Hawaii, that is until I did a google search and come across Hawaiian Travel. I called the number and I heard this pleasant voice greet me with "aloha". It was Laura! Her tone and positivity immediately put me at ease. She congratulated my wife and I on our 30th wedding anniversary and asked us what our ideal dream Hawaiian vacation would look like. After a few ideas,, I gave her a budget and she immediately went to work! A couple of days later, Laura called us back with a wonderful package that included a stay in both Oahu and Maui. Everything from flight, hotel and car reservations, Luau, excursions, everything we wanted to do was included, PLUS ideas she recommended. Laura walked us through step by step on what to do to be prepared for our trip. She stayed in contact with us, emailing and calling with updates on any changes that occurred. Once we landed in Hawaii, there was an email from Laura making sure we made it ok, as well as letting us know she was available to assist us if we needed her. She did all the "heavy- lifting" and took the stress away from us so we can have a wonderful trip. Needless to say, my wife and I were thoroughly pleased with our trip to Hawaii. It was by far the best time we have ever had on vacation! Fantastic experience: I consider myself lucky for finding Hawaiian Travel as we started planning our vacation in Hawaii. I initially planned to do all of the research and bookings myself. After my introductory call with Laura I realized there were many advantages to working with a Hawaii specialist. Her knowledge and attention to detail made the entire trip go smoothly. On Kauai, we arrived to a wonderful reception at check in and she upgraded us as you requested and we are close to the Grand Club. This resort is divine and we hardly want to leave here because it is so beautiful. Once again, Laura, you are over the top amazing! The beautiful pineapple that you had delivered to us was such a fun surprise and not to mention delicious. I have always planned our trips myself, you are the first travel agent I have used and it has made our trip! Fantastic experience: We recently returned from a short trip to Maui. Overall we thouroughly enjoyed the visit and most things worked out well, in spite of the fact that the weather wasn‘t at it‘s best. Laura‘s help in planning our visit was invaluable. One of the highlights was a helicopter ride, which enabled us to see the island from a totally different angle and also to see Molokai. Beautiful! Fantastic experience: Laura was my angel! I was struggling to coordinate Spring Break to Maui for our family of 6 + another family of 7. We had ages 9, 10, 13, 14 x2, 17x2, an older sib in her 20's, and 4 40-somethings. Laura helped me sort out where to go & when based on our interests. Even the kids agreed it was the best vacation ever. Perfect combination of active + relaxing. I was so thrilled I had an expert ready with questions & who know people on Maui. The guided tour to Hana with Holo Holo was fantastic. Would not have found that group on my own. Laura hand picked for us locally run & own companies for everything we wanted. Snorkeling galore, deep sea fishing, ziplining, Road to Hana private tour, and Feast at Lele Luau. It was all fantastic. I could not have done it and been as confident & relaxed as I was without her.
