Fantastic experience: Monday night I locked my keys in my truck , called the number , was originally told it would be about an hour before the driver could meet me , just a few minutes after confirming that, the driver called me and said he’d be at my place in 20 minutes . He was spot on with his eta , considering the terrible road conditions we had in Topeka , I was so glad he made it so soon and safe too , he was very helpful and informative as well , thank you so much for the prompt and professional service.

Negative experience: I would give it a -0 if it gave you that option do not buy a battery from AAA and Topeka, Kansas. They do not honor the warranty. I had to call them after time for over a year since they put that piece of junk in. Kept trying to tell me it was not the battery so I took it to Performance. They said it was battery so I had AAA the same guy go there and then he calls me and say yes it is a battery but we’re not gonna honor the warranty and will give you 40% off, I hung up on him. I had Performance put a new battery in because I’ve talked to people that have their batteries and say they’re really good and they honor their warranty. Just wanted to make an update I got an email from Mark from AAA said he would be contacting me time went by didn’t hear anything so I emailed him back and he lied and said he had been trying to call me as some number I haven’t had an five years so I gave him the number that they use when I called AAA and it’s been about. I still have not heard a word. Do not waste your time getting anything from AAA batteries they do not honor the warranties.

Negative experience: I was given priority since I was broke down in a construction zone. After 2 hours and calling back twice. Driver said they didn't even get the call until 1.5 hours after we first called.

Fantastic experience: Today I stopped by the Topeka Kansas branch on Wanamaker to pay my bill. I asked Benedicta Dallam if there is information about Hawaii that she could share with me as I have a birthday trip in August 2024. To my surprise and delight she printed a booklet of information and shared photos of her own recent trip to Hawaii. Thank you Benedicta, you made my day.

Fantastic experience: My husband was very impressed with the AAA roadside service person. He thought he was going to need a tow, but it turned out it was a simple fix. A key fob with a low battery. He learned something new in how to unlock the door. Now he knows if he gets locked out of his vehicle again, what to do.

Negative experience: On January 20th at 4:45 pm I was in a parking lot and was inside my car. I found that I was locked in possibly due to frozen locks. I called the AAA number on my membership card a contact number in my cell phone and a number from a google search. A real person never picked up the telephone. I called a local office later but never received an apology or written response. I have been a customer for over 30 years. I told the local office that it occurred to me that my car might have been on fire or sinking in a body of water. The recording kept asking me if a child or a pet was locked in my car but would not allow my response. At one point the recording said that they put me on a call list but no one ever called back. I finally managed to get out of my car with no help. This is not up to your standards. Horrific.

Positive experience: Hey these guys are there for you when you need them and that's what matters, even if its not the most efficient sometimes. But, the roadside assistance for some reason sent the first truck out to hobby lobby in Oklahoma, I was in topeka Kansas at 25th and wanamaker. Doing a better job at dispatch would be an improvement. The guys on the ground are great fellas though!

Negative experience: Am a premium member called yesterday for them to send locksmith to make a key for my car was told 2 hour wait. After 1 hour they called me and told me the locksmith made his last call and is done for the day.they asked if i wanted scheduled for the next day.i said no my car and i are stranded im not staying here . they said would u like an immediate tow i said yes 6 hours later after i called and talked to 4 people during this time i finally got towed.if i could give negative stars i would

Negative experience: Horrible service. Recently broke down on the highway and was told they’d be within an hour or sooner. They didn’t show for well over three hours and I was forced to sit on the highway late at night not sure if anyone would ever arrive. Triple A does a great job of putting peoples safety at risk when they lie to customers.

Negative experience: Hit a deer on the highway with two adults, and two children under the age of 10 (8yo and 11 months) with weather under 50 degrees. Said they'd show up in 30 mins to help. SIX HOURS later I had to call for more help because they never showed. No call, no text, no show. They said theyd be there in 30 mins but six hours later...Had to find other help. Not reliable which is bad when you have kids. And still never showed and still never called. Taking my money elsewhere and telling this story, I've always been a proud member until last night, very disappointed.

Negative experience: I give them no stars!!!!! I am a Gold Member. And received the poorest Service ever. Well I received no service. My son called in around 4:00pm. 9/23/21. They said driver will be there around 5:30. No driver showed. Called back. They said driver will be out there at 6:30. No driver showed up. I will let you know. Called again didn't get through for a half hour. Then finally get to speak to poorest management ever.Think her name was Sara . Sara asked me if I wanted her to file a complant for me.. Not happy.And guess how we got the car home? After waiting for over 3 hours .It wasn't AAA . My son had to started the car put it in second gear and drove home 5 miles. Just think of the elderly folks and everyone else you guy screw over. Not happy with AAA.

Negative experience: After wading through the "automated telephone service", I was surprised to find out that my maps and trip ticket would be faster if I just go to their office. Wouldn't it seem faster if I called first for a heads up, then it could be available when I show up? I've always been impressed by their office, however, the call center personnel would make anyone think twice about purchasing a membership.

Positive experience: Attentive staff offered to help me immediately. She knew the process to get my reimbursement for out-of-pocket expenses covered by my upgrade to Premier Roadside Assistance. Paperwork was quickly provided with suggestions on handling it. I've been a AAA member since I first got my driver's license. Always get my money's worth. This office is especially pleasant and efficient.

Negative experience: Dealing with an accident caused by one of your policy holders. Agent was no help as far as getting my rental car set up. I had to ask the body shop questions that should of been handled by your employees. I really wish someone would get back to me as I’ve left voicemails and still have questions. This was honestly one of the WORST experiences. Very little communication going on between agents and clients.

Positive experience: We use the travel service. We're impressed with Shelly. Did you know you don't have to be a member to book through them? The only downside is the receptionist always wants our AAA# and we aren't members. That's always a bit of a hassle.

Negative experience: Nicest looking travel agency in Topeka. But, wow don't tell them that you are interested in buying AAA roadside assistance because you will be lucky to get out of there. They are paid on commision and I just was trying to figure out what the real price was based on a silly piece of junk mail that AAA sent me. Oh, it is so ridiculous that the entry level price includes another driver but if you upgrade it does not. So, the simple upgrade to plus is more than double the cost of the basic plan and it does NOT include a second driver. What a HORRIBLE value. I was ready to drop my current solution in favor of AAA since I had heard good things about it. But, seriously $143 a year for roadside assistance? No, thanks. But, wow what a nice looking store and the employee that worked with me was very nice but told me they are not allowed to tell anyone they work on commission.

Negative experience: Call the number and you can't get to a live person. I am just wanting to see if I can and they have in stock, a KTAG. Not very convenient to drive out there if they don't have them on hand or if they haven't updated KTAGs information that they might not sell them anymore.

Positive experience: Not happy with my experience today. Came in to purchase Mexican Pesos for an upcoming trip. I asked more than once for the exchange rate. Once given just the first four digits until I pressed the associate for the complete exchange rate. I was trying to see how much I wanted to buy. Then I was told there was a $12 fee, which I have not paid in the past. What is the use of paying my yearly fee if I have to pay additional fees for services. I then had to swipe my own card and input the last four digits of my credit card and CSV number. I've never done that at a business. To be honest I hope I don't need their assistance again. It was almost like I was putting the associate out. I would like to let everyone know that I was contacted today by the office manager and was very pleased by their response. Ashley fully understood my frustration and took care of my issues. Thank you Ashley. I rate the office now a 4 star.

Negative experience: If you need a Kansas Tourbook don't bother going to the AAA office in Topeka, at 1223 Wanamaker. They are out. Imagine, not having Kansas tourbooks at the office located in the state capitol.
