Fantastic experience: Kaitlyn was our travel agent for our anniversary Alaskan cruise trip and she was fabulous! I love to travel but I do not like having to figure out little details on my own. Kaitlyn handled everything from booking flights to getting us the perfect balcony room on our cruise! She answered any questions we had and made us feel confident to go on such a big trip on our own! One of my favorite things she did for us was book our hotel in Seattle a day before our trip. First, getting us a room beforehand was so helpful after a long day of travel! It gave us a minute to relax before going on board and we got to see a little bit of Seattle along the way! Second, the hotel she booked for us was AHHMAZING. She booked the Edgewater Hotel and I can easily say it was the best hotel we have ever stayed in! It had this gorgeous waterfront view from this cozy lobby and I thoroughly enjoyed my books and a lovely cup of coffee in the morning! Kaitlyn really cares about making sure every aspect of our trip is memorable! I am already thinking of our next trip so that I can reach out and start planning with her! Thanks so much, Kaitlyn!!!

Fantastic experience: We just returned from our 3rd trip using Imagine Travel and Shane Lawrence. We keep using them because they always set us up with the perfect adventure. This last trip was to Maui and Kauai - amazing. Working with Shane is always easy, and he has great ideas to make our trip even better. I'm already looking forward to our next adventure!

Fantastic experience: I cannot recommend Shane and Imagine Travel enough! An absolutely phenomenal company and customer service! My flight was cancelled at midnight as we were about to board. Shane had the airline on the phone in 2 minutes solving the problem vs the 3 hours that people stood in line. The Collette Peaks of Europe tour that he recommended was the best trip of my life. The beauty was beyond stunning and the villages were so quaint. It was the absolute perfect trip and I was already emailing Shane to book the next one before it ended!

Fantastic experience: Shane recently helped us with a vacation to Secrets Moxche in Playa Del Carmen. Absolutely beautiful resort that can only be described as straight out of an episode of White Lotus. The staff was incredible and food was certainly above avg for an all inclusive. The Preferred Club level guest room and access to the rooftop observatory restaurant and pool area was well worth it. Too many pools to even use in a week, including a man made lagoon. The hotel can be quite full, but with so many pools you're spread out and don't feel the crowd. Lots of great restaurants on site that don't take reservations, which is kinda nice that you don't have to structure this intricate plan for the week. We really never had more than a 10 min wait to eat dinner anywhere we went. (Allore, Ember and Sea Soul were dinner favs). We loved the coffee shop for drinks and treats anytime of the day. Feels like a high end Starbucks! Shane set us up with Angel, his transportation resource in Cancun, which ended up being fabulous. Highly recommend Shane and Secrets Moxche!

Fantastic experience: Secrets is an absolutely breathtaking resort & ALL the staff members were wonderful people. Very thoughtful, polite & professional. Our room (Jr. swim out King sized bed) was spectacular! Our room was always clean & we were never in need of anything. We felt as if the staff was only there for us! Highly recommend!!

Fantastic experience: Shane with Imagaine Travel is AMAZING! We recently got back from a Viking cruise from Amsterdam to Basel, Switzerland and did a post extension in Lucerne. It was truly a trip of a lifetime and Shane and Viking did a phenomenal job. The transportation from the airport to the ship, ship to the hotel, and from the hotel to the airport was seamless. It was so easy and I didn’t have to plan a thing except where I’m going next! I 1000% would go on another Viking cruise and would use Imagine Travel for any future travel adventures!!! I can’t say enough about them…. truly fantastic people to work with!!!

Fantastic experience: Shane and Mika are THE BEST!! We had a nightmare of a travel day trying to get on a cruise in FL. We booked our own flights and btw bad weather and delays almost missed our ship. Shane and Mika helped guide us and worked immediately behind the scenes to find my lost luggage. I had given up hope and they refused to give up on us and keep encouraging us to push thru. We made it with 3 min to spare! They found my lost luggage in another airport and had it delivered to our first stop in another country! They know their stuff and are excellent guides in helping file claims with the airlines and helping us find other flights that were canceled or delayed! Always a pleasure and less stress working with Shane and Mika at Imagine! Can’t wait for them to plan our next trip!!

Fantastic experience: We went to Cancun, the Secrets Playa Blanca Costa Mujeres, and it was fantastic! We had perfect weather for being in the pool all day. The food was good, the room was amazing (quiet, every detail was clean and well-planned), the service was wonderful at restaurants and the pool, the resort was full of lush garden areas, we rarely participate in activities, but there was plenty to do if you needed activity. We loved the dress code in restaurants and that the staff enforced it. Five stars, definitely recommend.

Fantastic experience: Just returned from a fabulous All-Inclusive vacay in the Dominican Republic. Booking through Imagine was the best! Shane and Mikka were always available to assist with any questions or concerns that I had. Everything was top tier and my family and I didn't have to worry about a thing! Fantastic experience: Shane and Imagine Travel did a wonderful job of coordinating a family trip to Europe. He suggested visiting Rome along with a Greek Isles cruise to give us the best experience we could hope for in a short period of time. At the end of our trip we also tagged on Venice for a couple days. Shane was spot on with his recommendations of hotel, private tours and transfers. His contacts - especially in Italy made it a 5 star experience. Phenomenal job!

Fantastic experience: Had a 2 week trip to Italy that Shane helped us book (just myself and my wife) and everything went flawless. From the accommodations, to the transportation between all the cities with our private drivers, to the recommendations he gave us. Negative experience: The worst thing about a business is that they never answer the phone!!! I’ve tried calling this company five times today, Tuesday March 5th… so I guess I’ll take my business elsewhere.

Fantastic experience: Shane is the best! We had a group of 30 travel to Cancun for a 40th birthday and he made everything painless. From recommending the resort based off our preference, to booking air and hotel for everyone. He also booked transportation for the group with Imagine travels private transfer contact Angel who was equally amazing. Angel stayed in constant communication with me to ensure everyone was taken care of for both arrival and departure. He was fantastic to work with and so thoughtful throughout the process. Shane and Imagine Travel took something that would have been so stressful for me to organize and made it a breeze. Would highly recommend, 10/10.

Fantastic experience: Hello Shane and Imagine Travel, Let me tell you, me wife, mom, dad, and me were very happy with the whole trip. El Dorado hotel was very very top of the line. We enjoyed every day and night at the hotel. Staffing was awesome, all the staff. Room service was great. The breakfast, lunch and dinner was great. The rooms was clean every day. El Dorado hotel was very good. Angel and his team of driver was great also. The Gide he got us for the Chichén Itzá excursion Jonathan was awesome. Jonathan (gide) was knowledgeable on the Mayan history, and able to answer questions we had of the area. We have nothing but good things to report. Fantastic experience: We have just returned from a trip arranged by Shane Lawerence and Viking Cruise Lines to Antarctica. I would highly recommend this trip to adventurous, eager to learn and flexible travelers who love nature, wildlife and remote regions of the world. Travel to Antarctica is not inexpensive but Viking does it correctly with a focus on preserving the environment while educating the traveler about Antarctica. I would not be surprised if trips like this no longer exist in about 10 years time. We booked excursions ahead of time but EVERYTHING in Antarctica can change on a dime. We were able to go down over 600 feet in a submarine. We were able to sea kayak, surprisingly they is very little walking or hiking on Antarctica. Animals have the right of way and Viking does everything to make sure they are safe, protected and left alone. Antarctica was not nearly as cold as I expected lows about 31 degrees, highs of 36. I would describe it as walls of 30-100 ft high glacial ice and snow that is constantly collapsing into the sea. On top of this snow and ice are mountain tops that resemble the Swiss Alps. Is it pristine, unique, and beautiful- ABSOLUTELY. We saw seals, whales and penguins. There were lectures each day so you could learn more about Antarctica. Are there drinks with umbrellas, casinos, pool games - NO. There is a gorgeous pool, hot tub, snow room, dry sauna, wet sauna all to enjoy at no extra charge. There are daily zodiac boat trips, special operations boats, trips ashore but due to the weather nothing is guaranteed. Each trip will be a unique journey. There are many scientists aboard doing research and interacting with the passengers every step of the way. I cannot recommend Viking enough for this journey- they bend over backwards to make each day engaging and special. I would recommend arriving in Buenos Aries about three days early to enjoy some sightseeing, a day with the Gauchos, double decker bus tour, food tour, Tango show etc. I cannot recommend Imagine Travel and Shane Lawerence enough if a trip like this appeals to you.

Fantastic experience: My family has booked multiple vacations through Shane for years now. He booked our AMAZING honeymoon last year and we called him this year for a potential anniversary trip to Jamaica! Well, 45 minutes later, we were fully booked for a once of a lifetime trip through Rome and the Greek Isles. (For not much more!) He has such creative trip ideas and fantastic deals! We couldn’t be happier.

Fantastic experience: Shane is the best! He's very responsive and listens to our wants and needs. We were originally working with A Way to Go Travel and I wasn't impressed. Down right refused to provide a quote for a resort we had our hearts set on. I will certainty be booking again.

Negative experience: Customer service rep hung up on me twice before finally helping me after I said I need help booking. The rep was so rude it felt like he was mad at me for calling. I felt uncomfortable and I was just on the phone e. I will never book with this company again.

Fantastic experience: Shane, did a wonderful job helping me to plan my honeymoon. I called him not really knowing what I wanted to do and he immediately was able to steer me to my heart’s desire. I could not have asked for a better honeymoon. My husband and I stayed a couple of days in Venice - the hotel we stayed at really was luxury - words can not describe the Baglioni Hotel Luna. After Venice we spent a week doing a river cruise with Viking. The experience was amazing and I seriously considered never leaving the boat! Fantastic experience: I've booked twice through Shane and his awesome assistant at imagine travel. In today's information age, it's tempting to book on cheap carribean or Expedia, but booking with Shane saved us big time! Two days before our most recent trip, I realized my wife's airline tickets did not match her passport (married/maiden). I called Shane (on a Sunday) and left a message. Within three minutes I had a text from him explaining he would get it handled. Mind you, this was two days before our trip. There was no "this is your fault, I told you to make sure the names matched passports etc". He just said, yup, we need to fix that, I'll get back with you. 20 mins later, he had the names changed, no fee, and we're in Mexico right now. If it weren't for Shane and his team, I would not have been able to make the trip. Had I booked the trip myself, I would have either paid hundreds in airline fees to change my wife's tickets, or not not been able to come. I'm a prime example of why using a TA is a great idea. I trust Shane's experience and will continue to use Imagine. Save yourself the headache of researching and booking yourself. Call Imagine, give them your budget and what you're looking for and let them do the rest. You won't regret it. Justin and Marissa.

Fantastic experience: My daughter and I had an amazing time in Rome. It was such a beautiful city and everything was perfect. Many thanks to Shane at Imagine Travel. He arranged our trip and made sure everything went smoothly, from planning the trip to its execution. We stayed at The Hotel Eden and it was spectacular! Definitely a five star experience. From the minute we arrived to the minute we left, the staff was very attentive. Also the rooms we very comfortable and the bedding was luxurious. Our view of Rome from our balcony was amazing. Shane also arrange for us to have our own personal tour guide, Federica. She was awesome. Her vast knowledge of the history of Rome was second to none. We hit the ground running on our first day., Federica met us at our hotel and off we went...Vatican, the cathedrals, ancient Rome, The Coliseum. Federica was also able to spend some time with us the following day to see St Clemente. She was a wealth of knowledge and made the sites so intriguing and enjoyable. I highly recommend Shane and Imagine travel. Our trip to Rome was was truly an amazing experience!

Fantastic experience: We went on an Alaskan Cruise for our 30th wedding anniversary and Shane Lawrence at Imagine Travel guided us through the huge mass of information that is "Cruises"! He was very knowledgeable and recommend Royal Caribbean Cruise Lines. He also directed us to the cruise planner website that Royal Caribbean offers. It was a beautiful trip with excellent service, comfortable rooms and plenty to do while cruising between ports.

Positive experience: We used Imagine Travel to book our honeymoon to Jamaica. While the resort and Jamaican experience was amazing, we were disappointed in the flight tickets this travel agency got for us. We didn't have window seats either way, we were over the wing both times, and were directly at the restrooms where people were constantly up and down in addition to having the odor to deal with for 3 hours. For our next travel adventure, we plan to book our own resort and airline tickets.

Fantastic experience: Just wanted to drop you a quick note to THANK YOU for setting Lisa and I up with CIE for our Ireland tour. We were a bit apprehensive about vacationing via a structured tour but it turned out to exceed our expectations in every way….there were no surprises and every detail was exactly as advertised. The transfers, hotels, tour guide, coach, everything was so nice that I can’t see how anyone could be less than completely satisfied. We would tour with CIE without any hesitation and will certainly continue to recommend Imagine Travel to all our friends.

Fantastic experience: I am going on my 4th European vacation next month that I booked through Shane at Imagine Travel. I will never book a trip overseas on my own again. Shane and his staff literally take care of every detail. He even goes the extra mile and books extra hotel rooms for before and after my tour, he books the transfers to and from the airport and hotels, and will book overseas airline tickets if I need them. He suggested tour companies and locations that were perfect for me, and has been on many of them himself, so he really knows what he is talking about! I am from a small town in Wyoming, and we do not even have a travel agency. It was a lucky day for me when a friend told me about Imagine Travel and Shane. I have used CIE and Trafalgar tour companies, have traveled to Ireland, the entire UK, Italy, and Scotland, all tours booked by Shane, and have not been disappointed even once.

Fantastic experience: This was the first real vacation for my family and I. Shane arranged a trip for 6 adults and 1 baby to the Dreams Resort at Riviera Maya. We were blown away the resort. Top notch everything....rooms, staff, food, activities. Shane did an amazing job putting together this vacation for us. I just told him our travel dates and what we were looking for and he performed the magic . None of us will every forget this trip.

Negative experience: Do not use Imagine Travel located at 313 S Greene St Ste 301 Greensboro NC 27401 for a Disney World vacation. Six months before our vacation, a co-owner at that location stated that you cannot book Bippity Boppity Boutique until 90 days before arrival. So I called the boutique 90 days before arrival, to find they were booked up at the Magic Kingdom and that reservations can be made up to 180 days before arrival. Today, less than 2 months before our vacation, I also found that she did not even make our flight reservations, that she left us to believe it was taking care of months ago. Due to this frustrating news, we are having to postpone our Disney vacation so things can be set up correctly by another agency. However, she did set up a prior vacation for us at the Turks and Caicos that was Fabulous! I have no doubt that there may be other locations she may be more of an expert on, just not Disney.

We went to Secrets Akumal in the Maya Riviera in Mexico and it was wonderful! Shane and his team made me feel completely at ease knowing that every aspect of our Honeymoon was taken care of. We had some complexity, given guests were traveling from around the U.S. to meet the group aboard a Celebrity Cruise. We just gave her an idea of what our expectations were and she took that and planned my husband and I a perfect trip, She was very attentive to our needs during our trip and constantly let us know she was there to serve us if needed. Negative experience: If there was a 0 star I would have given them. I used them to book my flight last month. They charged my card three times and that made me have the waste start of the year in my entire life. The only answer they could give was that they also didn't know what had happened and that my $2000 refund would come after the new year. The one star is to thank them because they honored the promise. Got my refund 01/03/2016 and I can now buy the presents I never managed to buy.

Fantastic experience: Shane took care of us for our Honeymoon in Hawaii. The trip was amazing! We started our vacation on Oahu staying in Waikiki for 2 days then took a small plane over to Maui for the rest of our stay. The hotels were first class, beautiful resorts with everything you could imagine! Shane set us up with a rental car in Maui and we drove all over the island getting to see all of Maui and its beautiful coasts and volcanos. It was a wonderful trip and Hawaii totally lived up to my expectations. Shane took care of everything Hotels, flights and rental car so we did not have to worry about a thing on our vacation. Fantastic experience: We used Imagine Travel for our honeymoon to Punta Cana, Dominican Republic. Our agent was Shane Lawrence. First off, Shane was excellent. He helped us every step of the way. We ran into a bit of issues last minute with my wife's passport and her plane ticket not matching (Our fault.) Normally this would be a fee charged by the Airport but Shane handled everything smoothly and with much patience and customer service. We are definitely going to book with Imagine and specifically Shane again. The accommodations he found and booked were excellent. Punta Can a was beautiful. Just got back and my wife and I miss it already!!!

He never fails to come through for us. Shane does a good job of listening to your "likes", then suggesting a trip you'd "love", and doing it at a great price. Fantastic experience: This agency and in particular Kristin Kocher was recommended to us with rave reviews. Since we are not in state there was some hesitancy but we couldn't resist the reviews. Thank goodness we found Imagine Travel and Kristin in particular. She was able to organize a trip to Hawaii (5 people, two islands, rental cars, specials and deals to include free nights and breakfast for everyone, inter-island flights, and recommendations for other activities, with honest reviews of the hotels suggested) in less than one week with a very challenging customer ; ) Ms. Kocher even kept in touch from her own vacation and remained involved in the details. While it's true there are many options in Boston for travel agencies, having Ms. Kocher and her team available to assist us will make choosing this company for all our or future travel needs a definite!

Fantastic experience: We contacted Shane at Imagine Travel to plan our family vacation. He came highly recommended by a friend. We were unsure of exactly where we wanted to go. Fantastic experience: Shane Lawrence and Imagine Travel vastly exceeded our expectations in planning our recent trip to Europe. We originally planned to fly to Amsterdam to begin our Viking River Cruise of Europe. However, during our preparations we discovered that the Royal Princess would be crossing the Atlantic to arrive in Amsterdam on the same day the Viking tour began at a price less than air fare. Without a hiccup, Shane made the changes, cancelled the flight, made our reservations for the ship and arranged for all the transfers. Since retiring three years ago we have been on several trips to Europe, Iceland, and Alaska. This tour was among the best. Before our vacation really got started, on the way across the Atlantic the Royal Princess stopped at the Azores, Ireland, Belgium and the Netherlands. As usual, their service including the food, the accommodations, the entertainment and the excursions was impeccable. This was our first crossing with Princess Cruises; it will not be the last. While we have been on a river cruise tour of Venice, Northern Italy, and Tuscany before with another company, our experience was that this Viking River Cruise of the Rhine-Main-Danube was superior to anything we have enjoyed before. The accommodations, onboard lectures, and excursion arrangements were equal to those of previous cruises, and the food was even better. The flavor, variety and portion size were more to our liking. It is amazing that the staff and crew of the Viking Ingvi consists of only some sixty persons. We felt as though we had our own personal staff as every need or desire we could conceivably have was quickly and more than adequately addressed. We heartily commend both of Shane Lawrence and Imagine Travel, and Viking River Cruises for offering superlative service and excellent value. We will be using both again.

Negative experience: After reading such awesome reviews we used Imagine to book an Italian vacation. It started out great but then we were passed off to someone else "who had more experience in Italy." Again, it started off great - she was super nice - but then it went down hill. Our itinerary, after we requested it, was a bunch of info copied into a word doc, which was very confusing. Just before the trip we learned we were not even sitting next to each other on one of the flights (and we only learned that after asking for the full flight details including the seats). We learned we were booked 30+ minutes from the destination we requested because the destination we requested did not often work with travel agents. We tried to book tours but they came back several hundred dollars higher than what we found ourselves online and our food preferences were either never passed to the TA that finally booked our trip, or they were never passed to the airline which resulted in a very uncomfortable and hungry flights. Thank goodness for granola bars! In the process we were even told that they prefer to book tours or cruises because they are easier. Well heck, I could do that myself. In the end, we ended up cancelling on of their hotels and finding one on our own so that we could be were we wanted. And we booked our own tours. It was disappointing though because we opted to use a travel agent to make things less time consuming and stressful. As nice as they were (and they are!) I would not use them again.
