Fantastic experience: I cannot express how incredibly wonderful our trip to Croatia was which was organized by Adriatic Travel. The hotels, the boat (chartered from Split to Dubrovnik), the boat crew, the meals aboard, the assigned tour guides: all of the choices offered by Adriatic Tours were absolutely perfect! Our group of 16 are still raving about the trip! Hvala to Peter Hazdovac for working with me and my requests! To note: bring lots of cash as some of the payments made during the trip were cash only.

Fantastic experience: Thanks to Peter and his team, our family trip was perfect and we now have a treasure trove of fond memories. There were 9 of us 5 adults and 4 children, ages 7,11. 14, and 16 and there was something for everyone! Peter booked our cruise and other hotel rooms. The people were expecting us at every place, and the drivers Peter arranged made the transitions effortless. Service was great, food was amazing and swim stops in the Adriatic each day were wonderful. Croatia is beautiful, the people are kind and lovely. We never would have attempted this without Peter's guidance. I highly recommend Adriatic Travel Tours. They will take good care of you and you will have a great trip.

Fantastic experience: We want to thank Adriatic Travel Tours…Peter and staff for their professionalism and customer care. They’re an outstanding group. I would recommend anyone planning a trip or cruise to book with them. Peter is attentive to your needs as well as his staff. Our seven day cruise from Split - Dubrovnik and back to Split was wonderful. Unfortunately the heat and humidity was difficult, with a few AC problems, but we all made the best of it while surrounded by beautiful islands and deep history. Thanks to our many swim stops, we swam in the Adriatic one of the most beautiful sea’s in the world. Our captain Tomas was wonderful and entertaining along with Boris, cruise director who gave daily power point presentations of our stops. The crew was friendly and very helpful. Our daily breakfasts and lunches were prepared by a chef and were very good. We had a wonderful captain’s dinner too. We met so many people from around the world which contributed to making our trip memorable and a lot of fun!!! Croatia is a must to see…it’s truly beautiful and the people are friendly and warm. Fantastic experience: This place is 10 stars out of a 5 star Google review! Our trip to Croatia could not have been better! If you are going to travel you would have to do a lot of research to get an itinerary that is as good as what Peter at Adriatic Travel found for us! We were able to see places in Croatia that we could have never found on our own and half of our family is from Croatia. We had the best tour guide and the best bus driver that you could imagine. They both had knowledge of the cities, towns, beaches, culture, and historical knowledge of Croatia. We worried about what our accommodations were going to be like (we have been disappointed in the past) but every hotel we stayed at was top notch. We have always just "winged it" in the past, picking our own literary, doing our own research but never again. What a beautiful country! Thank you Peter!

Fantastic experience: I recently returned from a 2 week vacation in Croatia and Slovania. What beautiful and historical places we visited and met lots of friendly and interesting people. Peter planned our trip to cover the things that mattered to us and was spot on! Our trip went so smoothly and the hotels he selected were wonderful and a tremendous value. In each city, Peter arranged for a private walking tour. The tour guides were excellent and gave us great tips for how to spend our time. As someone who has planned trips “on my own” for years, having Peter, an expert on Croatia, do the planning and bookings couldn’t have been any easier. I highly recommend…as a side note, the hotels obviously had a relationship with Peter as we were so warmly welcomed and they went out of their way to please us.

Fantastic experience: I have been to Croatia several times and I'm very hard to impress. Peter at Adriatic travel set up a 7-day cruise for myself and 6 of my High School buddies and our wives from Dubrovnik to Split which was beyond my expectations. If you're planning to visit Croatia and are not sure about it, this is definitely the way to go. They also have drivers on staff that can arrange side trips - several of us went to Mostar and Medjugorje for the day. The driver, Zoran had a brand-new Mercades van and drove us in comfort. He also picked out a fabulous lunch spot which was inexpensive, plentiful and good. Many kudos to Adriatic travel and their recommendations on hotels and things to do. They are true experts....

Fantastic experience: I'm not prone to writing reviews, but the trip planned by Peter and his team at Adriatic Tours deserves to be applauded. Peter worked with us to create the experience of a lifetime to celebrate our 50th anniversary (well ... 48th, but we decided to do it while we can!) with our two children, spouses and four grandchildren. We kept on saying "this is just how it was supposed to be," because everything was so well organized and adjusted to our likes and dislikes. From Ljubljana to Bled, Rovinj, Plitvice Lakes and then a week on the gulet Perla from Split to Dubrovnik, it just could not have been better. Honestly, do not hesitate to work with Adriatic Travel.

Fantastic experience: My second cruise (and my husband's first) through Adriatic Travel Tours. Did the 7 night cruise from Split to Dubrovnik and back with my cousin & his wife (fun people!). Peter did an outstanding job and when we had questions, he answered them promptly. Lufthansa was the airline and they were very good. We were on the, "Spalato" ship. Very nice, clean & comfortable cabin on the main level - total of 18 cabins. Smaller ships are the way to go! So fun to meet people from other countries while still maintaining your own privacy. Super crew! Loved the fact that the captain of the ship would stop at the islands and let us jump off the back of the ship and the water was crystal clear blue and a comfortable temperature - simply gorgeous! Fun to explore on the different islands and such a great variety of restaurants. Adriatic Travel Tours is the only company I would use for touring Croatia!

We did the majority of the planning on our own, however needed an expert when it came to transportation and Peter was so knowledgeable and quick to respond/make suggestions. Thanks to Peter and his team, we traveled to 5 different cities in Croatia without a hiccup. In Croatia, Josip took us from Zagreb to Silo all the way down to Split. Fantastic experience: I want to echo all the positive reviews!! We just got back from our two weeks’ vacation.  We started in Dubrovnik then traveled through these cities Medjugorje, Split, Komiza, Plitvice National Park, Opatija, Pula and ended in Zagreb. Thanks to Peter and his team our itinerary was spot on.  If the itinerary stated meet the driver in the lobby at 11am the driver, I found the driver waiting at 1045.  All the hotels were centrally located within walking distance of all the sites.  By our request our itinerary was busy but with Peter’s expertise everything ran smooth.  We rented a car to experience the Istria coast, totally worth it to see the Pula coliseum. When we arrived to final city Zagreb with the rental car, Peter arrange for the rental company to pick up the car as we arrived.  And once again the itinerary stated,  rental car agent will be at the hotel to pick up car at 2pm.  We pulled up at 1:50pm to check in to our hotel.  The rental car agent was there ready to pick up the car.  It was like synchronized swimming. Peter, your ears might have been burning.  The whole trip my mom couldn’t say enough about what a wonderful job you did in planning her bucket list trip.  Every time we checked in to a hotel, got picked up by a driver, or went on a walking tour she would say “He really does an excellent job!” Book your Croatia trip with Adriatic, you will not be sorry.

Fantastic experience: Peter at Adriatic Travel Tours is the best! I booked a private charter to cruise from Dubrovnik to Split on the M/Y Cesarica to depart originally on June 2020. Covid 19 delayed our vacation for two years. Finally my group went on cruise on June 4, 2022. Getting there from L.A. was challenging but Peter put my mind at ease and was very responsive to my messages. Thanks Peter for rescheduling transportation and helping my friend with lost luggage. The best vacation ever! The Cesarica yacht is beautiful. The accommodations were very comfortable. The food was so good. I had better meals on the yacht than when we went onshore to the restaurants. Every port we visited was picture perfect. Croatia is a beautiful country. The crew was very attentive. Fantastic experience: Peter and his team arranged an unforgettable trip to Croatia for a group of us this summer. The hotels were all excellent. Amadria Park in Zagreb was one of the best hotels I have ever stayed in, and as you know, I have travelled a lot on business and for pleasure. Great location, rooms were very nice and included breakfast spread was probably the best I have ever had. The service, from the front desk when we arrived to the restaurant and check out was excellent. This hotel should be an example for the Croatian tourist board of what to strive for when welcoming tourists from USA. Degenija boutique hotel was also excellent, more modest but nevertheless great place to stay near the Plitvice Lakes Nat’l Park. Rooms and service were also above expectations, and very convenient on site restaurant offered a nice selection of great dinner options for all tastes. We even saw fireflies at night, thanks for arranging that! The drivers were all very good too, and met all of our needs, which were quite challenging at times, and the vehicles were always clean and in top operational condition. Our ship Fantazija was nothing less than amazing. The entire crew was excellent, from the Captain to the servers and kitchen staff. They were there to satisfy our every wish, bringing us drinks and cappuccinos whenever we wanted one, to the crew watching out that my shoes don’t fall from the deck into the sea. The food was excellent, a nice variety of 4 course meals, beautifully served and the chef was gracious enough to spend time with me to explain how to make his very tasty pasticada, which was served for lunch one day. The included excursions were very well organized and exceeded even my expectations, particularly the one in Neretva River Delta and Metkovici area. The Captain’s dinner was beyond anybody’s expectations. The Klapa of 3 musicians played beautifully the traditional Dalmatian songs and we all joined in singing and dancing until midnight. I even lost my voice from singing along with them. The Mostar trip was fantastic, driver was excellent; he recommended a very good traditional restaurant to have a lunch at, which we really enjoyed. He was able to get us around the log jam at the border back into Croatia, with a lesser known crossing that had no waiting line. All of our American travelers were surprised way beyond their expectations with the trip organization and the beauty of landscapes and culture in Croatia. They said that they plan to come for another visit in future and bring their friends. I think this is a great advertisement for Adriatic Travel and Croatian tourism.

Fantastic experience: Adriatic Travel Tours is very detain oriented and delivered one of the best vacations we’ve had. Started in Split for a few days then boarded a boat for island touring for one week. Wow - it was the best ever. Then Peter arranged for our group of 40 to go to Dubrovnik. Wonderful. Then he got us all back to where we needed to be which was all different. I can’t say enough good things about this business. Always answers emails, keeps us posted as to any changes and was great to work with. Strongly recommend.

Negative experience: Disinformation & misinformation of tour changes. Primarily, no priest was provided contrary to their advertised brochure and no communication to that effect either by mail, email or phone calls. Secondarily, It was a surprise to the group when we got to Israel that they changed the hotel accommodations on us once we got to our destination. Our original documented hotel destination was supposed to be in Prima Kings in Jerusalem but got switch to a cheaper hotel in Bethlehem upon our arrival. It was almost a riot once we found out since it was almost midnight. I would not want this to happen to other tour groups so just plain go with other reputable agencies. Due diligence is a must.

Because of her, my travel to and from my native Croatia has been problem-and-stress-free. She is a genius when it comes to finding me the most convenient flights and connections for the best prices. No matter where I want to lay over or for how long, she promptly conjures up the best connections, saving me time and money. I would never think of using anyone else, and live in terror that she might retire. Please give her a raise and ensure she stays on for years to come!

Fantastic experience: We just completed our 13-day pilgrimage in Eastern Europe. We're unanimous in saying that this time we got so lucky with our 2nd tour manager, Pablo (not his Polish name though). He was on top of everything, well-versed in history, and really went out of his way to make our journey meaningful and enjoyable. Very flexible and accommodating. I didn't get his real name though but he deserves this affirmation. Definitely a good ambassador of your company.

Fantastic experience: I just found my pics from the Italy tour in 2001. Best tour ever! I looked online to see if this company was still in business as I’m getting ready to take another trip. We went wit an entire church group. Our Italian guide, David, had a masters in Fine Art! All accommodations were were excellent. The bus was a Mercedes with AC- and had a great sound system. We rolled through Tuscany with Botticelli - what more could you ask! There is a lot of bad reviews and suspiciously they were published all 4 mo ago? Don’t believe it!
