Negative experience: This is literally the worst office to call. I have been on hold for 41 mins and its like this every time I call. May 23, 2025- there is still a 45 mins wait on the phone to talk to someone. You guys have the worst customer service.

Fantastic experience: After a HORRIBLE experience with Progressive I went online and got a Quote for Auto Ins. As promised someone followed up with my the next morning. Josh D! I can honestly say this was the BEST experience I have ever had with any Auto Ins company. He was thorough, super friendly and professional. Didn't make me feel rushed. So patient and had an answer for all my questionis! Got me a GREAT rate that he worked so hard to get lowered. I was more than HAPPY with the rate! If the entire staff is as GREAT as this guy- don't hesitate calling or stopping in if you're in the area. 10 Stars!!

Fantastic experience: I came here to get an international driver’s license. Wow - I can’t say enough about the great service! Specifically, Tamescia was the representative I worked with, & she was amazing! She was kind, actively engaged in my needs, & even stayed a few minutes past closing to help me out. She & the team made me feel like I was right at home & their top priority even though I came in just a few minutes before closing (running late from work). Tamescia should get a raise or a promotion or something!! :) And I’ll happily come back here for any needs I have!

Fantastic experience: Wendell Lenton, life&Annuity agent helped me with obtaining the written documentation in related to the insurance contract that has been difficult for me to get these days. I had to stop by the office today, he went out his way to help me with the empathy and efficiency.

Negative experience: This AAA location provides unsatisfactory customer service, failing to respond to phone calls entirely. In-person visits are even worse, as the staff are rude and unprofessional. They don't even deserve 1 star after being a customer for 18 years I am going to change my insurance.

Negative experience: Terrible insurance company. It's unfortunate that I know some friends and co-workers who are customers of AAA. Two of them are still in a court battle with AAA. They refuse to hold their end of the insurance agreement and pay out. My co-workers' house burned down, and they refused to pay. It's been over a year. I highly recommend anyone to avoid this insurance company.

Positive experience: It was a very snowy day . I enter building asked staff if I could get a discount if I went out to shovel their sidewalks . Which were 3inches of icy snow . Very hard to enter and leave safely . AAA SHOULD BE BETTER !!

Negative experience: Don’t waste your time, if you’re trying to obtain an insurance quote via direct phone call to this office. Unfortunately, I cannot give zero stars, which exactly represents the COMPLETE LACK of service that I received. After four tries, I gave up. Not once did a human being answer. When I used their POS phone system, indicating that ought to get two quotesies from them, never did anyone answer in that department. When I did leave a message, with my stated purpose and contract information, still no response after a week. That says VOLUMES about a company that I have done business with for 45 years. Yep, I’ve been a AAA member for 45 years, and they’ve been my Insurance Agency of record, in multiple states, for that ENTIRE TIME ‼️ As of today, not any longer… It’s PATHETIC when you call THEM, trying to give your business/money to THEM, based upon a decades long relationship with this company, and you literally cannot even reach ANYONE. I was a former customer of this exact office, and attempted repeatedly, to give them my business for around 7-10 days. Zero chance of me EVER giving them my multiple policies ever again ‼️ You cannot even say horrible customer service, because you LITERALLY cannot reach these fools. Unless I receive a direct reply telling me that this office has burned to the ground, and their phones were out from mid -end of October, there’s zero excuses for never answering phone calls directed to their insurance department at the Ann Arbor office ‼️ Nor failing to respond to voice mail ‼️ I’ll NEVER recommend doing business with the Main St. AAA office in Ann Arbor, MI. YOU SUCK ‼️

Negative experience: I am completely livid and baffled at how poorly their service is!! I called for a tow and waited 6 hours. The app showed they picked my vehicle up but never did. The driver didn’t arrive until 1:43am. I was told to find another company even though I have a membership. The day of my service appointment for my car to be towed to the auto repair shop they were yet AGAIN hours late. When I called at 4am. I was told they don’t allow scheduled towing only to find out they do offer scheduled towing. Now my vehicle is not able to serviced because of their lack of communication and service. Sad to think they literally had me wait 6 hours for a tow when I was in the middle of nowhere. I honestly wouldn’t recommend using This company because of poor customer service and communication.

Negative experience: Requested service at 12:18 pm for dead battery. Phone call received at 3:35 pm stating that it would be another 2 hours before a truck would come. At 7:19 pm I canceled my request as the online tracking said my request was received but no truck had yet been dispatched. What am I paying for??

Negative experience: I’d give 0 if I could. I called for roadside assistance, waited an hour past their “estimated arrival time” before I called back. They had no trucks in the area (Willis and Rawsonville). They said they’d call back. 3 hours later (5 hours total), I tried to call back. The automated message said “we are looking for a truck, we will call you back.” I cancelled and got a tow from the first company that I called. What a waste of time and money.

Negative experience: The AAA representative I dealt with was impolite, zero greeting and curt. I took the high road and greeted “Brenda”. AAA does not use Applepay - problem #1. There was a helpful Gen Z who did leave her space to assist, give references to resolve quandary and was truly professional unlike the person I initially dealt with. At this time online service is a maze but I haven’t given up.

Fantastic experience: I met two agents, one in auto insurance Dept. He was very informative and helpful to all my needs. He offered me very reasonable costs for my vehicles. Feeling happy and accomplished all my desires.. he introduced me to another agent in Life Dept. Who was elaborative and I ended up applying fir another important life insurance for my family.

Negative experience: they will take all your money but the moment you need them to cover your car, they will come up with any technicality to deny your claim! they just denied my friend because she has 2 addresses. what does that even matter to you? shes paying for full coverage car insurance which should be good on the road not at a specific address!

Positive experience: I have been a customer of this office or Bill Lyle during the many decades he was in practice. My house in Ann Arbor Hills was broken into and we were out of town. I called a company called belfour who did some initial boarding up till we could get home. The problem came when we got home. There were blood splatters all over the house and broken glass all over the first floor. The claims adjuster basically did not show up for this claim and was not available and did not return phone calls over the last two days. We have been trying to live in a house with splattered blood and shards of glass all over the place and we have been put in the back burner backseat in terms of ever getting anything cleaned up at the house. The subs all say it’s AAA nothing they can do and Aaa asked clueless and none of the supervisors answered any of their phone calls. Worst worst service from AAA I’ve ever had in 40 years. I am thinking seriously about moving my insurance from AAA, which I’ve had for 40+ Years, mainly because they’ve had good service and things were easy. Not this time. The response to this breaking has been an unmitigated disaster and Aaa is the one who is dropping the ball

Negative experience: I've been with AAA for over 15+ years, never had any issues until my elderly father 63 years old went to add a car to my policy which he was on already. Bill Styles told my father which he admitted to over the phone with me to basically "get the f out" and "go find insurance some place else". He should be ashamed of himself and for treating a loyal customer that way. Never have i question the price, and have had less then a handful of claims withing that time-frame. I switch to AllState and im paying WAYYY less, so i guess good riddance.

Negative experience: PRICES FOR JUST AUTO INSURANCE FOR 6 MONTHS R OUTRAGEOUS!!! Fantastic experience: If you know about the services AAA offers, this is one center that offers most of AAA services . Insurance products, travel services including passport photos, International driving Permit and many more. Friendly and helpful staff, Well maintained waiting lounge, clean restrooms, ample parking all make this place even more assuring. The only downside is access. If you are trying to visit this place during rush hours or the game days it could be quite frustrating; especially if you're on northbound main street. It would be easier to access it from Pauline Blvd or Stadium Blvd. Then thru neighborhood streets.

Positive experience: I called AAA because I was having trouble logging in. The woman did not listen to my full question and kept answering a question I was not asking, this was very unhelpful. She started to get a rude tone because I still wasn’t understanding the point she was trying to make. What a bad experience. Usually AAA is pretty nice and understanding.

Negative experience: Such a horrible experience!! I actually once had a good experience with them. So this time, I got a printed policy from my previous agent and I just stopped by to pay it. However, the guy I met there give me a even higher price!! How ridiculous! Is this how you sell your service??Keep rising price?? And he keeps pushing me to accept the current policy.....in a way that seems nice on the surface but actually super rude!! If you got assigned to a young white agent, skip him! Look for some old nice agent who have won some award before!
