Fantastic experience: I did International driving license here. If you forgot to bring 2 passport photos, they provide photo service. Fast service, clean place, service minded, and a receptionist who helped me was very helpful and friendly. I was impressed. I believe they do all services in this place included insurance and travel.

Fantastic experience: Member for many years at Triple AAA and when living in Herndon visited this location frequently. From Ashburn a haul but they were so helpful getting foreign cash as well as an international license. Everyone was awesome and I was able to get everything.

Fantastic experience: I went for an international drivers license. The license was $20 and another $16 for pictures. I went at 12:15 on a Wednesday, no wait.

Positive experience: What's your regular a a a store. Staff were very friendly.

Negative experience: I went to this store for their notary service. The woman in duty was apparently confused or incompetent. She expect her signature and seal I properly and my document was unacceptable vto the court . This caused me significant vlist time and inconvenience. The next attempt was at the Fairfax Main Street store, where I was told, quite mysteriously, that they arent permitted to notarize documents for court! What a crock!

Fantastic experience: I am continually amazed how knowledgeable and helpful the people who work here are. Tips,tricks and a whole lot of experience make the AAA Fairfax crew a tremendous asset to any travel planning. I heartily suggest getting their help for your next vacation.

Negative experience: Have been waiting on the phone for travel agent at Fairfax office for34.8 minutes, with a voice telling me all the time that I am next in line and the wait time is zero minutes! Manage problem? Phone message canned? What are they doing??

Negative experience: I called them to jump my car and it took 2 hrs for them to arrive. I was so shocked. I've been a AAA for decades and never had to wait that long. Geico has a similar service, I won't be renewing.

Negative experience: Let's me start off by saying we have used aaa for years and we have always been use to their slow service but have continued to use them because at the end they have been reliable...... but as of last night I feel like I have to voice my concerns ... first off we waited for over 12 hours to have our car towed ... the first person told us about and hour ... then the next person told us 2 hours then the next person told us 3 hours then they started transferring us to the dispatcher which would hang up on us .... last night was a nightmare and AAA didn't help at all ... simple tow they couldn't do and they dropped the ball completely... customer service doesn't even care about your situation they just go by a script . Sometimes it seems like they enjoy telling you bad news like your tow will be delayed or somehow its not coming at all .. from 3pm till 5:13am we waited while the car stayed in the middle of the road unable to move causing an inconvenience for everyone and not to mention embarrassing for us. We were lied to and hung up on for hours mistreated on the phone and forgotten if I could give you guys a negative 100 stars I definitely would

Negative experience: This used to be a great place for car service needs for AAA members but it’s gradually gone down hill. They will cancel your confirmed appointments and not call you back to reschedule.

Negative experience: We made an appointment at this AAA location to book a trip overseas (about 6 1/2 months in advance of our trip). The representative we sat down and spoke with made us feel uncomfortable, rushed and stupid . She was curt, rude, and irritated. It was as we were wasting her time and she had better things to do. There were no other customers in the room, they were not busy. We gave her easy flexible dates, a budget, and things we wanted to do and see. She couldn't do anything within our budget (even though we priced out almost everything, and wanted someone to follow through with the booking all in one package). She said it would have all been well over $2,000 over our budget. We left, irritated and deflated, and decided to visit the Manassas AAA a week or so later. That representative at the Manassas was able to meet and match ALL of our needs and wants within the exact same budget. Don't waste your time at the Fairfax AAA location unless your representative really wants to work with you. If you get the same woman we had, just walk out. She shouldn't be working with the public.

Fantastic experience: Insurance agent Travis trap has always work very hard to give us best coverage with value in mind and I am very happy. All so went for ather services like overseas travel needs they all ways helpful. Only? I have for them is when you are on place like nj turnpike if you're car stole and nj police tow car do aaa reimburse the cost, oll so local police in va some time stubborn not to wait for aaa and the call tow Co like willow spring and they charge for 1 to 5 miles 400$to600. So i want aaa to find about how much kickback police department get from them and who fix the price governor of va.If i call private tow co they charge somewhere from 80 to 125$. Please give me answer Thanks desai

Fantastic experience: I went to AAA to get international driving permit. The senior lady who worked inside AAA was very nice. She made my IDP quickly and kindly reminded me do not go to some risky countries.

Negative experience: International Drivers Permit (IDP) is a service that AAA provides and they have failed me and my family. Currently, I am awaiting a response from AAA support and management for whether they will resolve this issue, or not. If AAA provides a relevant solution in which they compensate my family for lost time and money, then I may consider changing this Google maps review to something more favorable to AAA's professional reputation. *** If they are willing to provide the cost of express-mailing me the corrected IDP, I may consider changing this review. Background of failure: * A correct IDP is supposed to be stamped by AAA (this is like a stamp of authenticity). * However, the IDP that was provided to me by AAA was not stamped (see attached/related photo that I've included). * Because of this failure, the rental car agency overseas and local authorities would not accept the international drivers permit given to me by AAA since it lacked a stamp. * The rental car reservation had to be canceled and the vacation plans that my family and I had made to visit tourist destinations had to be canceled, since you must drive via car on our time-constrained schedule. * Furthermore, much of our family reunion vacation overseas was ruined due to this failure on the part of AAA. My opinion of AAA as a paying customer lies in the response of AAA to me, which I am still awaiting. This review is directed at the leadership of AAA, and has been written in direct proportion and relation to the quality and manner in which I have received service.

Fantastic experience: Got my photo and international license done within 10 minutes. The only thing I had to wait was for the complimentary coffee to finish brewing. Couldn’t ask for better services.

Fantastic experience: Called ahead and was able to speak to someone fairly quickly to ask how fast it took to turn around getting an International Driver's Permit. When I got there, the front desk was very helpful and courteous in helping me get my IDP. I was in and out in about 15 minutes with the new document!

Fantastic experience: The staff here is wonderful, very helpful, kind and courteous. I came in to get an international driver permit and they took care of me within 5-10 min - not longer. They also gave helpful suggestions and were just a great energy all around. Also, the location has a lot of travel items for sale in case you need anything and they do currencies for some locations. Fantastic experience: They made it really easy and quick for me to get my international driver's permit. Additionally helped me with a few things I forgot before my trip - like foreign power adapter. Been a AAA member since I was 16. My parents always had them. So as a gift I got AAA for my adult children. Their books are helpful for long road trips. Many members don't realize just how much we get as AAA members. Definitely worth visiting the local store for trip books prior to long trips. It's like your *Trip Advisor on paper so it never loses singal!!
