Fantastic experience: I have to admit that boarding our cruise ship in New Orleans on Super Bowl Sunday was a little bit stressful and there was a parking issue but when we called to ask for help, this issue was resolved quickly, and we were on our way. The excursions that Dawnelle booked for us was outstanding. We floated down a river through limestone caves, went on an exhilarating hike through the jungle and even got to snorkel with the dolphins. This is our 3rd vacation booked with Dawnelle's help, and I am looking forward to our next adventure. Simply Outstanding!!!!!!!

Fantastic experience: We enjoyed a beautiful, relaxing trip to Cabo San Lucas. Sammi Cain was a pleasure to work with. The highlights included watching the Whales from our room, the pool, the restaurants, and anyplace on the beautiful property. We enjoyed playing Pickleball on a terrace that was arranged by the staff. We saw shows or live music most every night.

Fantastic experience: Stephanie Garner has been our travel agent since 2017. There are not enough words to describe how awesome she is! We had a bucket list trip booked to Alaska in February 2024 & had to cancel 1week before departure due to my sister being critically ill & in ICU. I made 1 call to Stephanie & she took care of everything. I was under a lot of stress & Stephanie took over & took that stress off of me. I am so grateful & we don’t travel unless we can book with Stephanie!

Fantastic experience: Dawnelle was our agent, and did an outstanding job. Everything was well organized and all the details were very clear. It was nice not having to worry about that. The accommodations were great and the shuttles to / from the airport worked out perfectly. It was a great experience from start to finish!

Negative experience: I did not have a positive experience with Sammi at Travel Leaders. I truly felt like all she did was book our hotel and flight, and nothing else. She did not arrange any other accommodations after that. I had to ask her to arrange transportation to and from the airport to the hotel, she arranged transportation when we arrived however we had to arrange our own transportation to the airport upon departure. I had to ask if we needed a Visa to travel to Dubai, she did not know but did provide a link for me to research this information on my own. We did have a great time in Dubai, however this was because we booked everything on our own. We were not given any information regarding the complimentary accommodations the hotel offered, again, this information we had to seek out on our own. The hotel was ok however the room did not meet the expectations we set. Having used travel agents in the past where everything was planned and arranged for us based upon our interests and all we had to do was pay, this trip was by far the most work I’ve ever had to do when I hired someone to do it for me. Honestly, I would have faired off better by planning this trip on my own and saved a lot of money by doing so.

Fantastic experience: Sammi was there for me and my wife from beginning to end! Every question and concern was met with total empathy and professionalism. From the latest travel alerts to the present currency rates in other countries! I will definitely use Travel Leaders again for my next trip!

Negative experience: This was personally a horrible experience for me. I would not recommend if it is your first time using a travel agent. My travel agent Cynthia was subpar at communicating to me what to expect through the planning journey. My group and I came out of way more money than what we were originally told and I am still waiting to be reimbursed for the charges that we were not told about. Definitely would not recommend, not happy at all with the services.

I wanted to surprise my wife with a trip to Alaska for our anniversary and her recent victory over breast cancer and Sammi and the staff made this so easy. I gave her the list of things we would want to do and she took care of all the rest. I want to especially recognize the fact that Sammi was always very responsive and whenever I had a questions, she was very quick to respond. This was so important to me knowing that Sammi was always there to help. I highly recommend Sammi to anyone needing assistance in planning their next big (or small) destination getaway.

Fantastic experience: First time booking with an agent and everything went smooth sailing from there. My family and I booked a trip to Jamaica in July and the experience was amazing. Thanks to Ms. Sammie for making this process easy and straight to the point with emails and phone calls. Ms. Sammie also answered emails in a timely manner.

Negative experience: Travel leaders sold our group travel insurance AIG. We had numerous airline cancellations. Two months after numerous phone calls they ignore your claims and keep coming up with excuses. Beware.

Fantastic experience: Having to pick a last minute trip someplace and Travel Leaders representative Christy Cunningham suggested the Hyatt Centric Resort and Spa in Key West making all the arrangements in a timely manner. Here suggestion was perfect and the resort was fabulous. Great food, perfect location on the water just a couple blocks from historic Duvall St. looking forward to our next trip booked through Travel Leaders and with Christ to guide us we should have the time of our lives!

Fantastic experience: I have nothing but great things to say about my time spent planning with Christi at Travel Leaders. I have been thinking about and planning my honeymoon for over a year now. Up until March everything was going so well and then COVID-19 began to sweep across the world. Even through all the unknown Christi worked diligently to put my mind at ease and continue to plan an amazing honeymoon. When the decision had to be made to postpone our trip Christi stepped up and assured me everything would be fine. I have not been on a trip yet I know I will be using Travel Leaders for each of my trips in the future.

I usually like to book my own trips without having to work directly with a travel agency, but I'm so glad that I chose Travel Leaders to help me with my destination wedding/honeymoon in the Dominican Republic AND my husband's 30th birthday celebration in Barbados. Ms. Freeland and her colleagues at Travel Leaders were very knowledgeable and professional and a pleasure to work with during each phase. More importantly, she patiently listened to what our ideal vacation would be, helped thoroughly research dozens of options and found us the perfect spot in Barbados. Her experience made sure we were perfectly prepared for the trip and it went off without a hitch. I was hesitant to use a travel agency before but this experience went so well, I just don't see myself planning a major vacation without Christi's help again!

Fantastic experience: I randomly found three travel agents online and emailed my vacation desires. Christi was the only agent that responded, and she reacted swiftly. Christi was very attentive to my vacation desires. She understood the quality of vacation I was seeking for my family and made it happened. She made sure I was comfortable with each decision regarding the vacation details and vacation insurance. My trip was a little different three of us were traveling from the same state, and one from another, however; Christi made it happened without any issues. She informed the resort that my daughter was celebrating her birthday, and they decorated her door with a birthday ribbon and left cake and champagne in the room. Also, she informed them that my husband and I were celebrating our anniversary, and they decorated our door with an anniversary ribbon and left cake and champagne in the room. I have already recommended her to my friends, and I am currently working with her on another trip.

Fantastic experience: Christi is the best! My husband and I didn't have a great idea of what we wanted to do for our honeymoon - we just knew that we wanted out of the country, warm, and beachy. We told Christi what we were looking for in our honeymoon and our budget, and she took care of the rest! She gave us several suggestions for a location, and several resort options in each of the locations. We fell in love with our location in Panama that she suggested, and we had the best time! Fantastic experience: My wife and I traveled to Italy for our 25th anniversary in 2019. We enlisted Christi Freeland's help through Travel Leaders. She made the whole process so easy! We gave her a date range and she found the best plane tickets. We gave her a basic itinerary over a 2 week period, and she made recommendations to help us. She was flexible when we asked for changes, and she always responded quickly to our questions. Once we agreed upon everything, she booked all the travel, hotels, and transfers on our behalf. When it was finally set, she actually met with us in person (unexpected!) to ensure we were ready. She was available before, during and after the trip. So how was it? It was fantastic! There were no issues at any point - all the hotels were top notch (exceeded expectations) and all the train travel was easy and efficient. The transfers removed any stress. All we had to do was enjoy our trip, one day at a time. It was a fabulous trip that we will treasure forever! Thank you, Christi.
