Negative experience: Brought my car in to be serviced here out of recommendation by my father because he had always had a good experience here and trusts the mechanics- so I want to start there. I needed a new battery and my tires replaced. They end up calling us to say more work needed to be done on the vehicle, so we said- sure, go ahead. So $2000 later, I leave to go back to where I live (2 hours away) and a week later, my car is no longer working. After being out of a vehicle for almost three weeks, I finally get it towed (which was free) from Cleveland area back to Oregon, and somehow the wires got crossed somewhere and my battery was never replaced. Billed another $325 today for a new battery that should have been taken care of at the original date. Very disappointed and frustrated at this, especially around the holidays. I feel scammed and taken advantage of.

Negative experience: They charged me 160.00 just to look at my car. Not fix anything. Just to look at it. They did not tell me up front. All I got was I'm sorry. 160.00 and my car is not fixed I have to take it to someone else and still pay to have it fixed. Plus they tried to right up a munch of other things that I didn't even take my car there for to try to sell and up charge. Terrible shop. Don't go here!

Fantastic experience: Great place. Very friendly and very helpful. The guys there are great. I know we will be going back there next time we have automotive issues. The facility was so clean, service was reasonably priced. The were very fast on repairing our car. Overall we are really impressed and happy. If your in need of a trust worthy mechanic, go check these guys out. They are the best

Negative experience: Was on hold for 5 minutes just to talk to somebody over there. Nobody answered If they're that busy I'll just call somewhere else

Fantastic experience: I have been to many repair shops in my lifetime. I have always felt uneasy about repair shops. I am not a trusting soul, but I believe this to be an honest establishment. I have used them since 2016 and still feel good about their integrity. I even referred my own mother to this AAA service center.

Fantastic experience: Very thorough evaluation of what needed to be fixed on my vehicle. Got me scheduled quickly and had the work done in one day!

Negative experience: AAA removed some carbon buildup in my car and it started to spit out smoke from the exhaust. It also backfired. I refused to pay the bill ($800)and they said they would re-evaluate it. A week later they said it needed to have the injectors replaced. I paid for it ($1700) and after about 3 miles it started to blow clouds of smoke out the exhaust. I then took it to a dealership to have it fixed. They fixed it for $2100. The management and mechanics at this location are terrible.

Negative experience: I walked in to the store about noon… I asked the counter guy if there was someone who could help me with a gas door spring installation. This part is about 1.5 inches long by 1 inch ! The counter guy said no. He doesn’t have anybody who could do that . And referee me to a place down Navarre ave. . I will never step foot in that place again!! Nor recommend it ! Shame on that counter guy.

Fantastic experience: Never had a problem , whenever I had a major problem(car lock out, weather issue or towing) the service has always been on top . Auto service is one of the best in my location. Highly recommend the Auto Service to any one in need of an honest mechanic after you will be satisfied. The Very Best In Northwest Ohio. God Bless these guys they love what they do and they do a fantastic job.

Negative experience: Ask them to service my vehicle wasn't starting like the battery was bad. Told them the prblm. Changed battery returned home and had same pblm.. they said take to a dealer I can't help..! Took it to my dealer and come to find out there is an aux battery to the distributor/alternator and your guys DIDN'T know... I loved dan r's and they were reliable...now they r not... will never take there again... sorry larry u stayed on and hav to go buy their rules...

Fantastic experience: I purchased a 2012 full size Ford van about 5 years ago. I was treated very professionaly. They went out of their way to be sure every detail was covered to make my buying experience a good one. I'm still driving that van and still very proud of its appearance and performance. This van recently turned 215,000 miles and runs great . I'm a happy customer.

Positive experience: They have great customer service. Very nice and explain whatever you ask about. The only downside is all services are super EXPENSIVE! I went because my Tire Sensor light was on. They tested all 4. 1 was dead, 2 had low batteries and the 4th barely passed. They only had 2 in stock and it only took about an hour to replace those 2 but it cost $208. They couldn’t reprogram those 2 until the other low battery is replaced. So light is still on! Ran by Walmart for some stuff and decided to see if they replace TpMS. They do. So had them replace other 2 and it only cost $60 for the 2 and all tires rotated!

Fantastic experience: Let me tell you, I've been going to these guys for a very long time now. Every single time I have they always treat me with nothing but respect. Larry and Barb, they are the best! Their mechanics are as good as they come! I'm always so grateful for the help they give me and the service they provide. Thank you guys you're the best!

Fantastic experience: Always great service, they explain every thing in detail so you know exactly what's being done. They've always been so friendly and I've never felt taken advantage of like I have by other places. The facility is so clean and the waiting room is full of amenities like Kerig coffee options, fresh popped popcorn and Wi-Fi. If you need to leave your car over night, they have free loaner cars too! I only wish they were open on Sunday! Never had a bad experience here.////////// Update: Well, its 2 years later and I would rate them 5 stars today, just as I did originally! They have gone above and beyond to help me with my current vehicle. They are incredibly knowledgeable and they are determined to get the job done AND to fix it right! I won't take my car anywhere else.

The reason I am taking two stars off is because on my last visit they told me after an alignment that there was a weird noise coming from the rear wheel, said I should come back and have the brakes checked. Turns out it was a few loose lug nuts, that I forgot to tighten. After a call back regarding my review they helped me with my understanding of the issue. This is a shop that cares about your opinion and will try and make sure both parties are happy. Will use them again in the future

Fantastic experience: I was truly surprised with the service I received from them. The staff was very friendly and professional. They were very thorough in the vehicle inspection and completed a lot of work in a much shorter time than I expected and well under what I would have expected to pay. They documented with pictures what issues they uncovered while doing the requested work and kept me informed at every step along the way. I am not easily impressed nor very loyal when it comes to having work done someplace but I am sold on them and bragged them to my family to have their vehicle maintenance done here also. I am making a list for some more work I would like them to do in the future. Quality work and customer service is a rare thing now days and they set the bar very high.

It was so easy to schedule online and I even received a text message to remind me of my appointment! I also purchased new tires on a Saturday and they were able to install them on Monday! Their waiting room is amazing too with popcorn, flat screen TV, kid’s area, fireplace, coffee and more! Why not support

Positive experience: I have dealt with Dan R's for somewhere around 3 plus years and my vehicles have been older models. Whether they have been foreign or domestic Dan R's has kept me mobile. The service is always great. They recognize their customers by name and they go the extra distance to keep their customers coming back.
