Negative experience: Turns out this is a scam as the deals you get are no better then what you get online thru kayak, Expedia, etc. Waste of money - very disappointed. Wasn't too sure on the membership but they did a great job of explaining the program; they showed us the good and the not so good savings! just booked our first trip to playa del carmen and the savings were incredible! i just saved over 3K on my first vacation! Negative experience: I attended one of the presentations that this company held and was told for my time they promised cruise and dining and me and my spouse haven’t received anything from them no feedback after I’ve attempted to reach out to them and it’s been a month my spouse and I really thought about joining them but because of the way they handled this situation I’m lucky we didn’t seems to be another scam good luck to anyone involved

Negative experience: I was told like everyone else that I would receive 2 free airline tickets, 2-night hotel stay anywhere in the continental USA and $300 in dining at no cost. But there is a cost. $50 to register is just the beginning. You can only go to 23 of the largest cities. I wanted to see what hotels are available, you can't see that. I wanted to go to Montana, they'll fly you there but there are no hotels there. The same with New York, Connecticut and a slew of other destinations. Then to activate you agree you'll pay $199 for fees and taxes. The dining cards they give you are a joke. You can't dine for free with these cards. You can't get "discounts" like $5 off or a free drink. This is a scam, pure and simple.

Positive experience: Great savings and simplicity on the website. We have already recovered our initial investment and will definitely use the club for our hotels and resorts. However, I will say the trip they offered to come in was not easy to use and we had to pay taxes on it. Make sure you can travel mid week with that one.

Fantastic experience: My husband and I went on a presentation here last Saturday. I will be honest, I thought this was going to be just another pop up vacation club. To our surprise, we were intrigued with the program that this company offers. They offer a membership with wholesale pricing on anything travel related. I was skeptical about the legitimacy of the company but then found out that their program has been around for the past 17 years. Needless to say, my husband and I are excited to be new members and can’t wait to start using the program. After doing the math, we know we are going to save a lot of money on our future travels!

Negative experience: Update July 2022: Received a call from Travel Transparency representative April 8 telling me they were going to cancel the contract but charge a $250 cancellation fee. I agreed! I was informed it would take two months to process. I is now almost three months and no refund. The representative has informed me his office has been closed and he can not pay the refund. When did this become an individual responsibility? My frustration is with Travel Transparency! DO NOT DEAL WITH THIS COMPANY! Update March 2022: A formal complaint has been filed with the Consumer Protection Agency. Travel Transparency has not replied to the formal complaint. Save yourself from the frustration of signing a contract with Travel Transparency. Just say NO! ***Response to owner*** I called the number several times and they're always closed. I left a message with my phone number and no return call. I have filed a complaint with Better Business Bureau and they too have not received any replies. My next move will be reporting Travel Transparency to the Consumer Protection Agency. Avoid the frustration of dealing with this terrible travel agency. We purchased membership because of the price guarantee feature. We were told it was a simple process of copy and paste any lower price found on their site. They would beat the price by 10%. Every time I've done this, it has been denied. I WANT A REFUND AND THE CONTRACT CANCELED!

Negative experience: Not sure why you have people from a different country calling me with a spoof phone number at ridiculous times. It's labeled as spam call from my cell provider and when they don't like your answer they hang up on you. Something very fishy about this place and company. I'd advise anyone to stay far away from this "company." I also will be reporting this to BBB and/or the police department. If you go here do not sign anything, don't expect anything except your time to be wasted and your money to be taken

Negative experience: this place is full of it! they give you a "free trip" but want you to keep sending money for it. then i try to book with them and it never work. they wont answer the phone or call back they are scammers. i looked at this discount of 61% called hotel and it was the same exact same price. run run run Zero stars

Negative experience: I basically listened to their 30-60 min sales pitch in exchange for a coupon on a 2 night vacation with 2 round trip air tickets. My wife and I went to the Granite Bay location of Travel Transparency. Should have known something was up just by the name. How is this for transparency? I will let you decide… Advertised 2 round trip airline tickets at a hotel for 2 nights, all we need to do is listen to their sales pitch. Sounds good right? Of course I knew there had to be a catch, especially by all the free gifts they were sweetening the deal with, lol. All terms are listed in the certification activation page website. You don’t get the scoop on where that is or what the full terms are until after they pitch to you. Back to my original question- what is the catch? $50 activation fee, $199 hotel tax/fees per person. In fairness, going back over the ads, they never said it was free. It’s not. Again, I’m not surprised. This deal might be just the kind of coupon you are looking for though! You aren’t guaranteed to get the destination you want on the days you want. The travel agency reserves the right to change destination and days. If you’re not picky then that’s not a problem…but if I’m paying at least $450 and taking days off work, I want to go where I want to go on the days I want to go on. If you don’t give 30 days reservation notice then there can be surcharges. If you book within 7 days before or after some holidays you may get a surcharge as well. If you cancel, you don’t keep any money you paid them. That starts with the $50 activation fee…actually it technically started with the time I wasted listening to their pitch. The guy asked me what I do for a living and I told him I audit contracts. You should have seen his face, lol. They were nice enough people, but transparent is not the word I would describe them or their company. Oh, the irony. We all gotta make our living somehow though, am I right?

Negative experience: The pich was great. But as many have said. GIFTS aren't free. SCAM SCAM SCAM I Totally had when people word play with me. A gift should be free. I was offered a blue tooth speaker which ended up being $50, I was offered $300 in restuarant vouchers which I had to pay to activate and in order use it its $25 off $50 with 18% gratuity and unheard of local hole in the wall restuarants and omg the trip with airfare. Super scam. It costs over $400. SCAM SCAM SCAM FRAUD. I WILL BE CONTACTING BBB

Positive experience: There is no such thing as a free lunch. I went yesterday (1/13/2021). I got a call to attend the presentation on Tuesday (1/12). I was told I would receive 2 RT airline tickets to anywhere in the contiguous US (not Alaska, Hawaii, or Puerto Rico). Then I was told that if I attended Wed or Thur, they would also throw in 2 free nights in a 5 star hotel. I had one year to use both. They said that if I didn't want the airline tix, I could choose airpods, an android tablet, or a smart watch. When I said my wife could come, they said she would get a $100 restaurant discount card for attending. I have attended a bunch of these pitches in the past and there are always gimmicks and limitations, but this one was the first where I got absolutely nothing of value. None of the prizes above is as described and each of them requires you to pay something MORE to use. First, the airline and hotel are not separate. They are a package deal and good only on weekdays. If you stay longer than 2 nights, you must pay the regular rate for the hotel you are at. No, you can't check out and get a different hotel. You will be charged the regular rate at the hotel (even if you check out and use a different hotel or a friend's house) until your return flight. There is a $50 booking fee, plus air and hotel taxes. If you choose one of the devices, you don't leave the presentation with it. Instead, you get a coupon to take online and select your gift, for which you are charged a "small" shipping and handling fee. The "airpods" shown on the coupon were the same ones we bought our daughter for $10 recently. I assume the shipping and handling fee will cover that. The restaurant card requires you to sign up for a restaurant club with a $25 monthly fee in order to use. Like I said, no free lunch! Now I feel I was scammed in order to attend. Luckily, I live within 10 miles of the place so no big loss. If you are attending for the prizes, I wouldn't recommend it. The product wasn't right for us, but it may be for you. If you sign up, you can get a couple cheap trips (cruise and Mexico resort) as a bonus. Maybe that works for you and you can attend and find out. But don't expect anything of value for attending.

Negative experience: Lame. Books Disney vacation for my whole family and when we got to hotel they did not even have it in the system but are payment was surely taken. We had to fight to get them to refund our money. Disney was awesome and gave us a better price on room that TT said was good and found us a room without a reservation. Have tried a couple times to get help and they are only there to sell you on it haha nice they have your money on to the next victim. We bought the whole story about standing behind what you sell but has not been the case for this. Save your money and time.

Positive experience: We've had our membership for a little over a year now. We've seen minimal savings but im optimistic and hopeful that it will eventually pay off. I have yet to use it for anything other than hotel stays. I used what points I had collected to help pay for the 5 years of annual fees. So we have invested probably around $4k+ and have only saved a few hundred.

Negative experience: WARNING!!! THIS IS A SHAM COMPANY WITH A FALSE OPERATION. I would recommend you stay as far away from this "travel agency" as possible. They are running some type of scam on prospective customer under the guise of working for major airlines such as Southwest and United. Very scary. Reported to State of California Department of Corporations and business licensing board.

Negative experience: I kept receiving calls about this amazing opportunity to receive two round trip tickets to anywhere in the USA including Hawaii in addition to 3 day/2night hotel stay for free & $0 out of pocket in exchange for my time for a 90 minute presentation. I thought that this was too good to be true and I asked a lot of questions but kept getting assured that it was 100% free and just for my time with no obligation. I live in Downtown Walnut Creek, CA and went to their office in Granite Bay. I bet my girlfriend a big bet on this being free and ended up losing in which I’ll go into further detail. I wish I did more research and read the yelp reviews on their San Diego location. I drove 2.5 hours each way, I almost purchased what they were offering but my girlfriend didn’t let me and I’m so glad she talked me out of it. The presentation was actually only 45 min but what I’m really upset about is that first off this wasn’t free. You have to pay a $50 one time processing fee in addition to a $399 processing fee in order to get the round trip tickets and hotel stay which has a ton of restrictions, terms and conditions tied to it. So you have to shell out $449 to even receive anything. Marcy & Kevin are great at presenting and selling and they closed several people with ease but lying and not being honest about $0 obligation and completely free in exchange for your time is what I’m beyond upset about. I hope that those who get a call and are thinking about attending just to receive. “Free round trip tickets and hotel stay” you think twice because it will cost you $449.00 to even be able to get that. Also in order to even to redeem your “free gift” you have to pay a one time $50 processing fee and then followed by the $399.00 fee. Thankfully my CC company refunded me the $50 as I didn’t do the $399 because I realized what was happening. My time for 2 hours is $400 and I spent a total of 6 hours so in reality this presentation cost me $1200 in which I won’t get anything back in return. Like they said themselves it takes 800 phone calls to get 1 person to show up and be able to pitch them. Don’t waste your time or energy if you’re going just for the free 2 round trip tickets + hotel because it’s not free at all. What’s worse is I had a $300 side bet with my girlfriend that it was going to be 100% free just for going and I ended up losing that bet to her.

Negative experience: Spam , fraud , Less than 0 star , thay are calling me for last 2 weeks for visit the office and after that I was agree to come and they gave me appointment for 12:45 but the office was close no one was there , totally spam , don’t go and waste your time there

Fantastic experience: Wow this was quick and easy . Travel transparency, the presentation was short and very informative great deals I've been to at least 5 other time share presentations and this by far is probably the easiest and best one I have ever seen. I'm definitely recommending to all my friends and family. Staff was great they were friendly. The best part is, it was not a hard pressure sale at the end, either you said yes or no, those who said no got their free gift and left immediately those who were interested stayed . We Purchased a package and total time spent on site was less than 2 hours.

Fantastic experience: My wife and I have been timeshare owners for over 30 years and during that time have been to many presentations, however we never new there was a way to travel at 1/10 the price. No maintenance fees and no long term commitment made this the best product we had ever seen. The best part of the experience was Kevin's incredible knowledge of the travel industry and lack of pressure on us by his staff. I've had several occasions since purchasing that I've reached out to Kevin with a question and he has always quickly returned my call to help. I would highly recommend this to anyone who would like to make there travel dreams a reality. Jon

Positive experience: We went in there last night and met with Kevin and Marcy and decided to purchase a package based on our experience with them. They were both very professional and extremely knowledgeable about travel and the various packages that one might look into purchasing depending on budget etc... I’ll give it 5 stars after I book a trip without hassle and with the steep discounts that they have locked in for members. Definitely worth going in and seeing them! Thanks K&M!

Negative experience: I would give Zero stars if I could and find these other reviews highly suspect. They women who cold called me was very rude and could not answer any questions. When I asked to speak to a manager she hung up on me. I had asked because she was very on clear. Transparency... yeah right. thumbs down all the way this seems super scammy!

Fantastic experience: We've been through timeshare seminars in the past and never had a good experience. It wasn't long after arriving we realized this was not a timeshare! We like most people were interested in the free gift but given that it was such a great opportunity to save on traveling we were glad we showed up. The staff is friendly and professional. We would highly recommend taking some time to listen to what they have to say and I don't think you'd be disappointed. We appreciate their honesty and respect for our time. We were in and out and thankful that their presentation was very informative and their site seems user friendly! We plan on sending family and friends their way. Positive experience: Travel Transparency seems to have an excellent update on the standard Timeshare model with a lot of other perks included. However, the advertised two night, two adults round trip is not as open ended as described on the initial call or the follow up call to set up the presentation meeting. You'll get a certificate for travel through another agency with quite substantial restrictions on when you can fly and where you can go that make it fairly difficult to redeem if you are trying to plan around being able to take a trip to a certain place on a certain date. Overall I'd say attend if you're at all interested in buying a membership that gives you access to the timeshare experience, but if you're just looking for a deal on hotels or are intrigued by the free trip offered (and aren't interested in spending $1,500-$8,000) it's likely not the best fit. While there the manager mentioned they had outsourced their marketing calls, so I don't hold them responsible for the discrepancies with the described free trip. The staff are very pleasant and were friendly even when I declined the membership offer.

Fantastic experience: My wife and I had a great time. Very relaxing, professional, and no High pressure at all. I was shocked. Kevin explained the difference of time share in a very thorough way that made complete since. I wish I would have met them 10 years ago. Negative experience: Just got a call from them sounded like a great deal but when I was transferred to their booking person I asked if they had days the following week and he told me no. When I told him that I had other obligations this week he then asked if I could make it the following week. I feel they need training on customer service.

Fantastic experience: Follow up texts to remember the meeting we're great. Simple and informative presentation. The best travel club program we have ever seen. No pressure to buy. They showed us their program; if we wanted to buy, ok, if not, that was ok too. We bought because it filled a need in our vacation planning needs.

Fantastic experience: Randomly received a phone call advertising a paid vacation (2 nights hotel and 2 round trip airfare to Hawaii or Cabo). I was skeptical since nothing is ever for free, but I thought heck I have some time off I can see if this thing is for real. When I arrived to Travel Transparency, I was greeted with a fresh cookies and friendly faces. Still seems too good to be true. I ended up meeting Diana, who was my guide. She got to know my traveling style and educated me on their product. It turns out to be a vacation access membership. Their application is similar to Priceline, Expedia and other travel sites. Their difference was the rates. They were roughly 30-80% off what I could find publicly. Considering I spend at least two weeks a year vacationing I could see the savings. But the beauty of the product is that they have access to time share resorts where normally you’d be tens of thousands of dollars to be a part of. These guys were a fraction of the cost. The thing that intrigued me the most was being able to rent villas for whole weeks at $200-$800 depending on location and quality. I ended up purchasing the product and have used it for a few vacations now and it’s completely changed the way I get to travel now and I spend more money doing the things I want rather than going into the place I’m staying at. I highly recommend this if you do travel or would like to. Thank you Diana for the insightful look into travel transparency.
