Negative experience: Never go threw these crooks especially the James guy they will give you home owners insurance after you told him you only wanted auto insurance 20 times and still go against what you told him how do you run a business like that it’s beyond me every time I spoke to someone the amount changed this place is a complete joke stick to road side assistance leave the insurance to company’s that actually know how to run a business negative stars is what you deserve !!!!!! #Nightmare #neveragain

Negative experience: I would give zero stars if I could. Avoid AAA. Worst customer service especially Tiffany, Ashley and David who can’t be bothered to follow through with a claim from last August. State Farm is my new company and they are much better.
Fantastic experience: Having AAA can really save you. I have roadside service and lost the clutch today, and had to get a tow. I did wait over an hour. The service rep got the address wrong, the supervisor called me back multiple times and had to confirm it with me over and over. I recommend asking the person to have them repeat back the address to you to save yourself time and their error. They said things to me like I613 instead of RT 613 (huge difference to the tow truck driver in locating me), the wrong town. My car had lost the clutch and became immobile halfway in a busy street on a blind winding turn. It was stressful waiting, but I didn't have to worry about paying for the tow. It worked out alright but the people on the phone did not really pay attention to the address I gave. Tow truck driver was excellent, though.
Fantastic experience: I called to get auto and home insurance quotes because Allstate was not treating us right. Jared Woodbury took my call and got all the info to give us great quotes. We have almost identical coverage to what we had and we will save $1900 a year for the bundle, including AAA Roadside service. He was able to get it all done in one day. We are beyond happy. Jared even got us our membership number so we were able to set up our AAA Membership and Roadside Service Apps on our phone. In these challenging financial times an extra $1900 will go a long way towards balancing our finances. Thank you, Jared.
Fantastic experience: I met with Jared today to transfer my AAA auto policy from another state. Jared was welcoming and extremely helpful, making the process streamlined and transparent. I highly recommend anyone with insurance related issues visit this office to get some assistance.
Negative experience: the one time, after years of paying my premium on time, that I had to "make a call" to AAA it cost me $100 to get towed 300 yards...never ever will I bother paying a middle man again, I will call the tow company myself and get a better deal....
Fantastic experience: Great service, my car battery died and they had someone at the scene within 20 minutes, the mechanic was incredibly helpful and friendly, and explained what he was doing because I was interested. I also used the virtual assistant which was easy to use and efficient, and understood everything that I said.
Fantastic experience: The only place I know of that will guarantee you help if anything comes up with your itenery and takes it very seriously because I thought those days were over and not with AAA and the prices are just as good as you can find on the cheapest website without any help from them so don't think you are saving money not by a long shot
Negative experience: I called Bangor AAA this morning to report an issue in Vermont. I was cut off abruptly by the person with whom I was speaking. She didn’t want to hear anything I had to say and kept making up excuses for being so busy. She specifically told me that all agents are busy and that they need to also take care of the overwhelming calls they get. I’m a paying premium customer should I not be taken care of as well. I find that I was discriminated against. I cut her off because she rudely said that I wasn’t allowing her to talk but that’s all she was doing. She wouldn’t let me explain what the issue was. I hung up on her. She was that rude.
Negative experience: I just got my renewal bill and wanted to make some changes. Found the website. Couldn't remember my password so went through the process of changing it. Finally signed in. Navigated my way into changing my account. As soon as I tried to change something they gave me a number to call, they could no longer help me online. I called the number and waited. Was told I could have a call back in 6-8 minutes. I left my info and hung up. They called me back. She took my info to check me in and asked if she could put me on a brief hold. Sure I said. She came back on the line and explained she was going to forward me to someone that could help me. I hung up. It's sad when these companies get so big they have no time to take care of their customers. Crazy.
Negative experience: Please come up with a different commercial for AAA........I am so tired of seeing Paula and Jaequin saying now that they have AAA they can spend more time with their kids. I had AAA for years and always had time for my kids and grandkids. Thanks
Fantastic experience: I recommend AAA to anyone who needs these services . When I needed them they were there. They were very professional and courteous. The truck arrived earlier than they promised and delivered my truck to a near by service center. I am very happy with everyone involved
Negative experience: Waited 5 hours beside the road before getting the wrecker service I pay for. 14 years of membership and that’s what I got! Not impressed my sister is on oxygen and we had no water and the wrecker service I called myself was the one that came!!!!!
Fantastic experience: Nicole is the best travel agent. She is so helpful, kind, and really cares for her customers. She goes above and beyond to make sure her customers are happy. I have booked two trips with Nicole and will use her for any future trips!
Negative experience: I wouldn't even give them a star but had to in order to leave my past weekend experience & help others make a proper decision before investing into aaa memberships. Worst experience ever, lied to repeatedly. Only been a 8 year customer but they left my wife stranded for hours. Days & vehicle still not towed. Save yourself from their worthless service that they don't provide. AAA reps don't care. Asked for a call from corporate days ago & worthless as never even attempted to call. My wife was told false information & lied to more than once on the several phone calls we had. YOU HAVE BEEN FAIRLY WARNED TO SAVE YOURSELF FROM THIS COSTLY MISTAKE. I think AAA CEO is BRANDON
Negative experience: Called AAA said they would dispatch someone, had to call them back twice. My first call was at 6:15 am. At 8:20 I received a text saying someone would be there at 9:00 am. This is not acceptable. I called a local towing company and they were at my house in 10 minutes. I'll give them the money in the future. Can't rely on AAA anymore.

Negative experience: I love AAA but I'm having a lot of trouble with the website. I can only access my roadside assistance account and can't link at all to my car or home insurance accounts. I was always able to see all of the accounts. When I spoke with an agent about a recent change in my car insurance policy, he wasn't able to help me or direct me. He just said that he was still able to see all of his accounts on the website. No online chat or other easy way to contact for tech assistance. I haven't had time to pursue this further, but I'll update my review if this gets resolved.

Negative experience: After being a member for decades. Without telling paying customers. They will no longer tow if you aren’t with vehicles. Soo now after walking to work, to pay for the imminent repairs. Now I’ll lose a day s pay because I must be with car. If you thinking of getting aaa DONT! Save your money and just pay for it when/if it happens. No wonder every review is bad!

Negative experience: Me and my husband was traveling in South Dakota in camper we slide off road in snow we called for a tow 10 hrs later tow company came and would not tow us because we were on gravel rd I called a other company came in 1 hour got us out AAA would not reimburse us our $110 dollars out of pocket we were with them five years first time using and last people beware they gladly take your money and do not deliver a service unhappy former client Beth Landon

Negative experience: I would give 0 stars if I could. My Senior parents were prayed upon by this office. They scheduled travel over 6 weeks out and were given connecting flights where direct flight were available. One of there flights that could have been direct OMA-SEA was booked OMA-ORD-SEA! The return flight had a 3+ hour layover. AAA never mentioned to my mother that there were direct flights between OMA and SEA. When I called to get this corrected This AAA office refused to do anything. They wouldn't even change the United flights to better connections. After getting nowhere with AAA I called United and got both flights changed to better routing and a more reasonable layover time at no cost, and it only took 10 minutes. What is this travel agency charging people for ? Zero customer service. Shame on you.
Negative experience: You need to become a member just to obtained renters insurance that just short of being a scam in my opinion!
Positive experience: It used to be a lot better But like everything else today Instead of getting better and better It gets worse and worse I am a traveler so I'm enrolled in their premium service and as long as it doesn't degenerate I will continue my membership. Your decision

Fantastic experience: AAA is in fact one of the best purchases I make all year. They always tell me an hour before someone will get to me and its usually less, unless i'm in a very remote location. Pricing is ideal

Fantastic experience: Triple-A offers a great variety of services to us as motorists. However, they can be inconsistent. On Christmas 2 years ago, I got stuck in the snow. Although I was 6 feet off the plowed portion of a road in a condo development, they refused to send a tow truck. I managed to get out myself in about an hour, but this was the ONLY time in over 30 years when I needed help and they screwed me. Oh, when you go in to the office, they always try to sell insurance. My company has been good since 1967. These guys aren't going to be better. But, if you need a tire changed, they can take care if you.

Fantastic experience: Stopped in for a routine driver's license renewal and was helped with almost no wait. Staff are friendly and professional, the building is clean and tidy inside and out.
Fantastic experience: The Bangor AAA seems to be very organized, the staff very knowledgeable and personable. AAA provides a lot of products. I haven't experienced most of them. When I went in to renew my membership the other day, I was surprised to find out that they offer passport services for a nominal fee to members! The AAA service in our area has been good. I've used them once or twice.
