The Fun Bus

Fantastic experience: Fun Fun Fun. First time in New York City, girls trip. Packed full of history, food and lots of walking. Mike and Chuck made sure we were informed, maps to guide us and suggestions for restaurants, subways and even bathrooms. Thanks guys, for helping us get as much as possible packed in one day. My daughter even found Balto statue in Central Park, bucket list item.

Fantastic experience: Great experience! The driver and tour guide were very prompt, professional, and on time! The tour guide was very helpful in explaining NYC and how to use the subway which gave us confidence to try it. Good driving, felt safe, good information, a great way to experience NYC low cost.

Fantastic experience: My driver was Michael Woodward. He was fantastic to a large girl scout troop to Savannah Georgia. He was very attentive to our needs. He kept us updated on traffic control and arrival times. He was kind and respectful to all passengers. He was willing to make a trip to the bus much after hours to retrieve a forgotten item. He represents Fun Bus very well. He has earned my highest regard. L C.

Fantastic experience: Took the July 1, 2025 Gettysburg trip. With so many fantastic historic places to visit and see, they packed everything into a 3 day trip. Plenty of time to shop and explore the museums and attractions. I liked that a tour guide came aboard our bus and walked us through the battle areas with great detail. This is definitely a place to visit, but sit back, relax and let the Fun Bus worry about all the details! The food locations were great, Penny and Mike went out of their way to make the trip a “bucket list” moment to enjoy. I’ve taken 9 trips with them, all wonderful and look forward to many more.

Fantastic experience: Utah National Parks June 2025. A long drive, but well worth it. We saw all the major Parks, and a few extras. There were a few glitches, not the fault of Fun Bus, that were dealt with promptly. Everyone on the trip was friendly and helpful when needed. Ardell was not only the best driver ever, but he was extremely knowledgeable about the areas we were visiting. Rebecca was fun and efficient, a rare combination. Highly recommend.

She does a great job on making sure everyone has the opportunity to experience many different things. This was my first experience at seeing the Adirondacks and cruising on Lake George. Middlebury Inn was an excellent place to stay and appreciated staying there for 3 nights. Vermont is definitely a beautiful place to see in the fall. Great trip with lots of memories! Thanks to all! Negative experience: Left me sitting waiting for over an hour in Columbus bcuz they don't schedule effectively. This is not the only time. Drivers r very friendly and courteous always.

Fantastic experience: Christy is the woman, and Chuck is the man 100%. I enjoyed every ounce of this trip. Everything I did while traveling on the fun bus was nothing short of amazing. The drivers (Christy and Chuck) are so kind and enjoyable to talk to. I felt safe the entire drive to, in, and from NYC. If you ever want to travel, this is the Fun Bus to take.

Fantastic experience: The Fun Bus Adventures lived up to its name at our September wedding! Our guests absolutely adored the trolley transportation for the wedding, and it was quite a popular photoshoot location! We are so thankful for the wonderful bus drivers who kept everyone safe on our most treasured day! Jonathan was wonderful to work with leading up to the wedding and I appreciated his expertise around scheduling transportation for 250+ guests haha!

Fantastic experience: I wanted to do a little traveling but my husband thought a bus trip would only be full of old people and he wasn't fond of leaving the driving to someone else. We found Fun Bus Adventures and we were sooooooo glad we did!!! We booked their Gettysburg tour. It was fantastic!! Rebecca, the owner, and Mike, our driver, made sure we had a wonderful experience. She booked sights to see with tour guides who truly brought the horrible Gettysburg battle and aftermath to life. We would have missed so much visiting Gettysburg on our own. The bus was very comfortable and had a bathroom on board. Rebecca made sure we had plenty of opportunities for sight seeing and shopping. Most meals were included in the very reasonable price of the trip and they were delicious...we both gained a few pounds!!!! And I couldn't believe how expertly Mike maneuvered the bus even avoiding a truck that pulled out in front of us... good job Mike!!! And both Rebecca and Mike went out of their way to assist a fellow passenger who had a little crisis. Both my husband and I were so impressed and liked the tour so much that we booked another tour with them!!!! And the passengers were a mixed group. Yes some were retired but some were much younger. We had a great time!! Thank you Fun Bus Adventures!!!

Fantastic experience: Lancaster High School cosmetology class took a trip to Chicago for the 2024 hair show. Micheal was our driver extrover and was amazing and accommodating to all our wants and needs during the trip from start to finish. Traveling with a bus full of females can be difficult but he did great and would recommend Micheal for trips in the future. Thank you fun bus for making our trip that much more amazing.

Positive experience: We booked their largest passenger shuttle for our wedding on 9/9/23. Booking was easy and their contract was clear. About 1-2 weeks before the wedding date, I received a couple calls to confirm the itinerary and addresses for the day. This was great! A few days before our wedding, we received a call that they have had difficulty keeping CDL drivers hired and that the large shuttle would no longer be an option for our wedding day. As a countermeasure, they offered 3 14-passenger shuttles instead. While this caused stress so close to our wedding day, we appreciated the problem-solving as this was technically more expensive than our original booking. Our critique was that, at the end of the night, so many people were trying to get back to the hotel at once (which is why we booked the largest shuttle) that it took quite a while with only 14 passengers/shuttle. Some waited so long that they didn't believe another shuttle was coming and they had to figure out another way back. This made us wonder what happened when there should have been 3 shuttles in rotation. Overall, they got everyone to the ceremony on time which was most important and we appreciated their effort to make things right.

Fantastic experience: The NYC Redeye in July was great. It was the first time I'd done it but Chris, the staff member on board, kept everything organized and gave us lots of valuable info about navigating Manhattan and some of the sights not to be missed when we arrived. It was really nice to not have to worry about driving or parking. Such a wonderful day shared with my grandson! Highly recommend the Fun Bus trips.

Fantastic experience: We used the Fun Bus to take our choir group to a performance and then went on to Kings Island. Our driver (Butch) was the BEST! He was very knowledgeable about where to go, the bus itself and his driving did not scare me at all (I was in the front seat). Butch praised our kids for their hard work at the performance (they got GOLD), he offered to stop to get a charger for the choir teacher and had the best attitude before, during and after a long day. I would highly recommend using FUN BUS for any adventure. WMS teacher/chaperone

Negative experience: Very disappointing experience from our wedding. Great customer service until we were unhappy with their service provided that day & they blamed it on us for "changing the schedule" even though it was confirmed and verified a week prior to the wedding via phone and email as well as on documentation. The driver told us he was not scheduled for our wedding and they got the drivers last minute due to a personal conflict on their end. Customer service was very rude and made up excuses for why their shuttle was almost an hour late to pick up the entire bridal party & family, after the venue was closed and we were standing in the driveway at 11 o'clock at night. Driver went to wrong hotel with a shuttle full of guests, even though location and shuttle route was book over a year in advance of event. No apologies or any help after they received their money. Would NOT recommend.

Negative experience: Owner is very unprofessional. awful company that the owner is a blatant liar whom verbally harassed her workers including in front of and/or to customers.

Positive experience: I would actually rate them 4.5. My husband and I recently traveled to Savannah, GA on FunBus. Although there were a couple of small adjustments, overall they did not negatively impact the experience, and in fact may have benefitted the passengers. The driver and the guide (Butch and Chris) were very pleasant, accommodating, and professional. As with the other trips we have taken on FunBus, we enjoyed ourselves very much. I recommend FunBus highly.

Negative experience: Some genius Who works for this company and is driving fun bus 3 is on the interstate cutting semi trucks off and driving like he’s drunk. Not the type of company I would recommend riding with unless you like dying

Fantastic experience: The fun bus at the Dublin Irish festival was the best! They picked up/dropped us right near our hotel. Every bus was timely, waited for people that were coming which was nice, was clean and air conditioned plus the drivers were very informative. Thanks!

Fantastic experience: We hired The Fun Bus for our sons wedding July 16, 2022. They were OUTSTANDING !!! From details with the contract to the event day they were so amazing to work with. We had trolleys for both the rehearsal dinner and the wedding day ! The drivers were amazing !! The drivers were accommodating and incredibly kind!! Do yourself a favor and hire this company!! You won’t regret it !!

Negative experience: DO NOT rent from Fun Bus, they put us in jeopardy! We had a trip to PA planned since fall of 2021, for a large group of students, which required 2 buses. 9 hours before our trip, they canceled one of our buses, due to a driver quitting and only having one driver. So we were stuck driving a bunch of the students to our destination, 6 hours away. On the way home, the 1 bus that we did take, broke down on the side of the interstate, 1 hour away from home. The driver had to get over so far, that the main door was not able to be accessed. Well, the emergency exit door was broken as well. So, parents and students had to exit out the emergency window at 3:30am on the side of the interstate. We had to call parents and other volunteers to come pick everyone up. It was a complete disaster!!!!!! PLEASE DON’T BOOK THEM!!!! Side Note: Jan, the driver of the bus was very helpful and none of this was her fault. She was wonderful!!!

Positive experience: Love the driver very nice, and drove perfectly, followed the directions to my appointment !!

Negative experience: We had put a deposit down for the dollywood trip. My wife had got hurt and wasn't able to walk and my daughter is having tests on her heart due to passing out so we aren't able to make the trip. This was going to be a Christmas present for my family. But we wasn't made aware of the no refund deposit until after the deposit was made and was told about it in an email after the fact with the deposit receipt. Now my kids are without Christmas due to them not refunding our money. Very sad on the way they do business. Now my kids have to go without. Note that the refund policy and travel insurance was not offered over the phone during putting the deposit down that was after you guys already had the money. And this is the type of response I get for my wife losing her job due to her health. And you never honestly know if they sell the tickets. Also the crazy thing is dollywood does refund tickets I had called them as well as the hotel. So now there pretty much just keeping our money and not even trying to help us. The pic below states the refund policy was put with our receipt of payment.

Fantastic experience: I have been on several trips with the Fun Bus and I have enjoyed them all. I want to go on another one of their trips in the near future. I have been on 2 Amish trips, 2 thrift store adventures and the last one was some wineries in the Put-in-Bay area. Go on their website to learn about them. You won't regret it.

Negative experience: I heard you left people at a truck stop in Indianapolis. Awful.

Negative experience: Anyone else awaiting a refund from 2020 Covid issues? It has been months and they are no longer returning my emails or calls. I'd like a repayment schedule a call, an email, something. This company offers a great service to our community I would like their accounting dept to do the same.

Fantastic experience: Always there if I need a ride!!!

Negative experience: Probably the worst “cab company” out there, they’re a tour bus agency with the taxi service as a side gig. Can’t EVER get anything because you have to schedule the cab service I guess. And when you ask if they have anything available they are rude like you’re inconveniencing them. I’d give them 0 stars if it was possible

Negative experience: Tried to book a ride with them and was told they are not taking cash as payment on paper money it says good for all debts public and private will never use this company again for any reason not everybody has a credit or debit card
