Positive experience: Too long of a travel day, airport transfers were scheduled hours before our flights. Riu Latino was a beautiful resort.

Negative experience: We booked with Vincent of Fare4Air for a family trip to celebrate my mother in law's birthday. He was responsive, but would contact one or two people (who paid on time) to contact others regarding late payments. In addition, when we questioned him regarding accomodations he assured would work- he deferred to the resort. I was charged over $50 to make international calls doing what he was supposed to. We arrived at the resort and the accomodations were not correct. In addition, once payments were finished he basically disappeared. The reason we chose to use a travel agent was to make it less stressful and have professional arrangements so everyone was happy. That was not the case at all. We would NEVER use this agency again.

Fantastic experience: A few quick calls and some emails back and forth and we had our whole odyssey to Japan booked! I was nervous about the vast time changes, the hotel websites in other languages, and just all the unknowns for a trip to another country. Vincent handled the bookings for the flights, hotels, and even the shinkansen (high-speed train). He was also able to get us travel insurance (that we thankfully didn't need). We just got back from the trip and everything that was booked for us by Fare4air went perfectly. Now we're just dealing with the jetlag, but they can't help with that...

We contacted him a number of times for questions and last minute requirements and he was wonderful. His itinerary was fabulous and I am amazed at how he was able to squeeze in so much on our VERY limited budget. After going through a number of other agents and being told "no...you can't do it on your budget." Vincent had a "can-do" attitude and was able to cram a LOT in and adapt to our last minute requests. Obviously Fare4air cannot be responsible for the chaos in airlines this summer is bringing and we realize reality might change our plans, but NOT because of Vincent"s diligent attention and very hard work. Plus the fact that he did this with FOUR of us going made it a real magical trick.

Fantastic experience: I spent hours looking at fares for complicated international flights. There were two non connecting cities on the itinerary and many options. Finally I contacted Fare4air, and they got back to me with the flights in less than 30 minutes with better connections than I had found and $150 less cost per ticket. I also had to book a flight to Quebec City which I called AA airlines to book. They quoted the flight as $1,000. Fare 4air found a flight on AA for $375. I think I am done with self-booking.
