Fantastic experience: We just completed our 3rd trip with STA. They make it so easy and hassle free. Safety is a priority! We have a security guard at the hotel so as a sponsor of students in NYC, I was not worried and was able to get sleep. We saw so much and toured so many things in a short time. Tours guides are extremely knowledgeable and make it fun! I have taken groups to Boston, Washington DC and New York City. Planning another trip next summer!

Positive experience: Our 5th grade tour to DC was overall great. Exhausting, but great. I was surprised that our tour bus wasn’t in better condition. It needed new shocks and the ride was pretty bumpy at times. And the microphone had a lot of issues so at times it was really difficult to endure what otherwise would have been good narration by the bus driver. The Westin hotel was fabulous. I understand why we do the Great Wolf stay for the first two nights but that part is take or leave for me. We learned a lot on this tour! It was well organized!

Fantastic experience: As a teacher taking her first group of students to Washington DC, I cannot say enough how easy STA made our trip! We were able to see and do so many things in the short time we were there. Without STA making arrangements, there is no way we could have experienced as much! I got overheated and they were quick to offer transportation back to the hotel for me. They were great to let me modify my trip so I did not have to walk as much(due to my own personal issues). There is no way you could see as much as you get to on your own! Such kind and helpful people!!

You will see as much as possible in the window you get to go in, and everything is lined up in a way that all you have to do is show up. Fantastic experience: I can’t say enough about this company and the trip to DC my son had. From the very beginning everything was very organized. There’s multiple fundraisers throughout the year to help pay for it. They do everything for you with planning etc. For the actual trip they see all the best stops and chaperones sent me pictures! They even got to stay at Great Wolf Lodge! My son had the time of his life and I knew he was safe with chaperones. Very small group numbers with chaperone to kid ratio. My son loved the bus driver also! I just wish they could plan all my vacations because everything was handled and they saw the best things and places!

Fantastic experience: Our for day trip to DC was a once in a lifetime experience for our students. We were able to squeeze so much into our trip and the hospitality of the STA staff was amazing!! Fantastic experience: I traveled with STA two times as a teacher. This company does it all! They take charge and make sure students and their families have the best experience possible. They make sure to take care of all the hard work and planning—airfare, buses, ticket entry into all museums/places visited, hotels, and restaurants! They have everything planned down to the minute for you! No extra brain-power needed. I traveled with a group in my school district and they made sure to have the same district and grade levels in the same bus. This was such a relief as I previously traveled with EF, which did not make sure to do this. With EF, my biggest complaint was traveling with a much older grade group than my class, which was not appropriate for either groups, especially since we were waiting on that group daily and late to every activity. Overall, wonderful experience with STA! I recommend this company to all teachers who have never tried to take a group of students on a big trip like this. Major experience for ALL who are able to pay and attend these tours.

She had our documents, tickets, lunch meals, etc. incredibly organized which made the trip run smoothly. Our tour guy and bus driver truly made our experience even better. I would encourage parents or grandparents to take the trip with your child! So many wonderful memories are made while enriching our lives with the history of our country.

Positive experience: Overall it was a great experience for my daughter and I. There are some things that I would change…some of the food options we were given were not kid appropriate. I think getting opinions from the kids would be better since we are spending between $20-$25 per meal. I think giving them more options would be better. I also feel as it was nice getting to see a little bit of everything, it would have been nice to spend longer at some of the museums. Maybe getting a vote with the kids on what their interests are and only going to a certain amt. I also was not a fan of our tour guide. She was very knowledgeable on all the places we went, but she did not interact with the kids in any of the activities and with us being Lutheran she came off rude when we were praying and tried pushing her beliefs on us. Positive experience: Very disappointed with flight arrangements, flight got delayed, group was split into separate flights, flying into different airports in Washington DC, late at night, distant from hotel location. Also, very disappointed with hotel’s breakfast options. The sightseeing part of the tour, the bus seemed to be ok.

Fantastic experience: We attended a Frontier Elementary, Edmond, OK, Field trip to Washington DC with our Fifth grade class. Our students had a blast and made memories of a life time. It was a well organized trip with tours at the Spy Museum, the Holocaust museum, The Smithsonian, The Capital, and a Ghost tour. The best was the bus tour to all the monuments with a very well spoken, thorough, and impressive bus driver. He was so knowledgeable on every monument. Williamsburg was so interesting, and I personally loved visiting the Air and Space Museum and MLK’s memorial. I would highly recommend a trip to DC with School Tours of America. Having Lynnse as your guide will make your trip totally organized and stress free.

There is no way we would’ve seen all of the amazing sights, on our own, in a 4 day span. The itinerary was packed full of sights and our bus driver was so familiar with DC she was able to make adjustments so we wouldn’t miss anything due to Memorial Day weekend road closures and special events. Our group leader was positive, enthusiastic, informed, and always prepared. I recommend this trip for 5th graders.
