Fantastic experience: It is always a pleasure to work with Alexandra Bohn because she is so knowledgeable, patient, and she is always looking out for us. This was my third family vacation she planned, and I never could have taken this two-week trip to France and Greece without her expert advice and help with making the arrangements. It was a complicated trip involving multiple flights, a train ride in France and a rental car in Greece. Her guidance on so many other things such as where to stay and a convenient way to get Euros was so helpful, too. We also enjoyed the Virtuoso amenities she arranged for us at our favorite hotel in Athens. When our flight home was cancelled due to technical issues, she responded right away and did her best to find another direct fight home. She also checked in with us to make sure we got home safe and sound. I look forward to working with her again to plan our next trip.

Fantastic experience: This April I went to Japan with a couple of friends. Alexandra Bohn did all the leg work for the trip. We did not want to be on a group trip with a travel company. We just wanted lodging, train tickets and a few private tours. We had a private tour of each city with a food tour. Alex did a great job. We were provided a cloud wifi that worked most everywhere. We had a wonderful time. I absolutely loved Japan. The people are so respectful and accommodating. The food tours were excellent. We would not have found these places without a guide. THIS YEAR Alex helped me celebrate my 80th birthday first with a lovely 3-days in London followed by an exciting and entertaining London-to-New York TransAtlantic crossing on the Cunard Queen Mary-2 ocean liner! Pleasing consideration was given to the choice of Stateroom and Dining Room and there were small birthday acknowledgements each day on the crossing to New York City. It was all in all a wonderful start to my 80th year !

We did not decide to travel until shortly before the trip was to take place, but ATS acted promptly to guide us through our travel options and made suggestions that worked well for us. The hotels that ATS chose to us were especially wonderful. When a glitch occurred during the travel, we were able to contact ATS and ATS immediately acted to correct the problem. We intend to use ATS in the future.

Fantastic experience: I had the most incredible girls trip to Italy thanks to Alexandra. The trip began when we left the airport and Venice and hopped on a private water taxi to our beautiful hotel. Alexandra made sure our hotels in Venice, Florence, and Rome were located in the middle of everything. She made sure we had every possible experience in each place, planning every excursion. Fantastic experience: We have been customers of World Travel Service for 20 years now and couldn’t be happier with their service. We started with their Severna Park office when we lived in Maryland and have continued to depend on them since we moved to Texas over a decade ago. They have arranged at least a dozen cruises for us, a dozen trips to our very favorite resort in Punta Cana, DR (which they originally recommended to us), and scenic land tours in Mexico, U. S. National parks, and the Canadian Rockies. When we experienced a travel interruption due to weather at the end of a cruise, a last minute cruise cancellation due to a family emergency, and trip cancellations during the pandemic. Our WTS agents were there to help ensure we received complete travel insurance refunds. Always proactive and a pleasure to deal with, Alexandra Bohn has been our go-to WTS agent for the last few years. Alexandra provides excellent advice on our options regarding vacation vendor, air travel and pre-cruise hotels and careful follow-up on the resulting arrangements. Having relied on Alexandra for several trips in the last 15 months we won’t hesitate to turn to her for help with our 2024 vacation plans.

Fantastic experience: Alex Bohn set us up for the family trip of a lifetime in Norway, handling all of our flight, ground transportation and lodging needs across multiple towns and cities with care. We ended up with bookings that met our expectations perfectly! We had some near misses with our flights (we had to cross fingers a flight crew strike would end and that our tight layover would work), and Alex was right there communicating with us along the way. I would recommend Antietam Travel Service--and Alex--to anyone and would reach out to them again.

Positive experience: Had a good experience with our honeymoon in 2019. Been receiving promotional emails and mailings ever since. Now in 2023 when trying to plan a trip for 5, we can’t even get a “sorry we don’t want to handle this trip.” Just no response. We’re second gen with this agency as my in-laws used to use them, but I suspect there’s been a change in ownership or management.

Negative experience: AVOID AVOID place. Multiple booking mistakes for family of nine. We are in Mexico unable to check into a resort due to age mistakes make by Antietam. Nothing worse then a crying kid wanting to go home ok due to mistakes.

Fantastic experience: We decided to use a travel agent to make our vacation plans easier this time around. Julie at Antietam Travel was prompt, responsive and knowledgeable. She presented lots of options for us and gave us some great insider knowledge of the Caribbean. Our trip was, as a result, a lot of fun and relaxing. I will definitely use them again, it was way less work than researching on my own.

Negative experience: Had a phone appointment and was sent an itinerary by email. Tried several times to get hold of travel agent by phone and email, but no one ever responded. Very disappointed with this agency. I will not be planning my trip with this agency.

Laura was very easy to work with, asking good questions to get a feel of what type of trip we were looking for. Laura was very responsive and helped us plan an amazing trip with multiple sites that we wanted to visit. Our hotel selections were excellent and she was helpful in booking activities and meals as well. I highly recommend Laura for both her knowledge, thoroughness and she was so easy to communicate with.

Fantastic experience: This was my first experience with Antietam travel, and I was thrilled with the result. For an amazingly low price per traveler, our agent, Alex, coordinated our travel to Europe (at prices 'at or below' what i was able to find on my own), gave us great ideas for sightseeing, tours, and dining, and helped us select among travel insurance options. On the very first day, when a weather delay in our outbound US flight meant we would not make our connection in Europe, I was stunned when I called from the airport to see what could be done and found that Alex already knew about our problem and had rebooked us on a later flight in Europe that kept us smoothly on schedule. Will definitely use these folks again. Thanks to Alex and the Antietam team for such great service.

Negative experience: Friends planned a wedding using ATS to help the guests book hotel rooms and other logistics. The service was useless, ended up paying more than just booking the hotel directly myself, and did not receive any other benefits for the fees required.

Fantastic experience: We have been working successfully with the company and especially with Alex Bohn for many years. Very professional, knowledgeable And reliable person. Never had any issues for the last 7 to 10 years. She would find us a deal which we couldn’t find online, best flights, important recommendations regarding the trip etc. Our last trip to Sandals at Dominican republic was great overall and flourless. She reserved the best room for us with the wonderful view. Food was OK in comparison with all inclusive resorts in Aruba. Service also was good. We will continue to use the company and our travel agent Alex in the future !

Julie worked very hard to make sure we had the most beautiful 2week honeymoon in Barbados. Hotel and food and location perfect. Fantastic experience: Once again, travel agent Alex Bohn came through for us planning a great winter vacation to Cancun. We have been to Cancun a number of times and usually stayed at the name brand resorts. This time we included our family members in the vacation and wanted to try something new. We trusted Alex to provide us with a recommendation where to stay Valentin Imperial ( only 15 minutes from the airport). She was right on the mark. We absolutely loved the place. The rooms were large, the pools not full, the beach was clean and groomed each day, and more than enough bali huts to accommodate anyone who wanted to remain on the beach all day, service was outstanding, and Covid19 protocols were in full effect. Fantastic experience: Alexandra at Antietam Travel helped us book a fantastic vacation! We spent 10 days in Riviera Maya at the Eldorado Maroma Resort. We had transport to and from the airport, the personal concierge at the resort helped us plan our week the day we arrived (but never minded changing things for us when relaxing was more important!), the cabana's were super comfortable and always available, the staff could not have been friendlier or more accommodating. And the food was amazing!! We'd go back in a heartbeat! If you are celebrating a special event like a birthday, anniversary, honeymoon, etc, let the resort know in advance because they have some special treats for you while there. We are ready to book our next adventure with Alexandra soon!!

Fantastic experience: I have been working w Julie for many years. She helped organize our wedding group trip in the Mayan Riviera. She helped a friend and his wedding group as well. She is always helpful and very responsive. We ran into an issue on our last trip last month and she was a great help. Very knowledgeable about destinations. One of the most complex travel arrangements she handled for me was a Disney cruise for me and ten other family members. It was a very complex itinerary, but the entire trip went flawlessly! Fantastic experience: I have used Antietam (specifically, Alex Bohn) for two major trips to Italy and Greece over the past several years and have been very pleased by her expertise, advice, and arrangements. I find the true value added has been Alex's ability to find the "sweet spot" for hotels, tours and transportation -- a balance of client wants, efficiency, cost, reliability, and quality, which translates into what I am looking for, which is the best value in my vacation planning. I have recommended her to all of my friends who have had similar experiences. In the rare occasions that issues or problems arise, she is very level headed and conscientious about resolving them. We are still talking about how nice our hotel in Amalfi, Italy, was this past month -- an exquisite waterfront place with a balcony facing out over the Mediterranean and a flower covered patio where we ate breakfast every morning (with the same view!).
