When my wife and I plan a trip, we usually take the lead on research—finding cool spots to explore, putting together our own itinerary, and booking Airbnbs. We’re not the type to lounge around at a resort or hit only touristy spots. We love to explore, soak in the culture, and keep things active with our kids. For this spring break, we decided on Panama, Central America, and that’s when we came across High Five Vacations. From the moment I connected with Israel at High Five, the experience was top-notch. He was incredibly responsive, really listened to how we travel, and customized everything to match our adventurous style. Even though we were booking our own Airbnbs, Israel gave great recommendations on where to stay—in Punta Pacifica, Boquete, and Bocas del Toro. The itinerary he built was spot-on. From day one, we had reliable English-speaking drivers who knew the area well. We kicked things off in Casco Viejo (Old Panama City), then headed to the Bayano Caves—probably one of the most unforgettable experiences of the trip. Exploring caves in complete darkness with chest-high water was a wild and fun challenge for the kids (and us!). The next day, we visited Monkey Island and, of course, saw the iconic Panama Canal. Then we flew to Bocas del Toro, where High Five had booked us two full days with a private boat captain. We explored different islands, snorkeled with starfish, and relaxed on beautiful beaches. (Quick note: snorkeling here is fun, but not quite as vivid as spots like Sombrero Reef in Florida.) After Bocas, Israel arranged for us to travel to Boquete via a scenic drive through Chiriquí Grande. That drive alone was worth it—lush landscapes, river swims for the kids, and an incredible 4x4 panoramic tour. We even had a private horseback riding experience that the whole family loved. To cap off the trip, we stayed in Punta Pacifica and visited the Embera village—a perfect mix of culture and nature. Throughout the entire trip, Israel was just a message away. From booking domestic flights to sending boarding passes in advance, he made everything smooth and stress-free. Whether you’re into five-star hotels or more DIY stays like us, High Five can tailor the perfect trip for you. This was our first time using High Five Vacations, and it won’t be our last. We’re already thinking about our next international adventure with them. If you want a personalized, well-organized, and adventure-filled trip, I can’t recommend them enough. You won’t regret it!

Fantastic experience: Simply amazing! Highly recommended!! I was referred by a friend that went on vacation with high five and from the first phone call I felt I'm being handled with white glove service. I was asked about my preferences and what I'm looking for on a vacation and received the same day a draft of my vacation plan with full details and explanation. Mr. Israel went over with me the plan for each day including meals and attractions. When it came to the price I was amazed to see that I received everything (including airfare and car rental, villa with a private pool, attractions ATV, tours, etc.) on such a great price.
