Fantastic experience: Exciting trip that was well planned out and the tour guides we met on the islands were professional and courteous. Highly recommend!

Fantastic experience: Trent is specialized in arranging South America trip. Our group has been with him for decades. The 10 days September Chile tour is most memorable. Especially the colorful hills of Valparaiso, the spectacular blend of volcanic landscapes, lush forests, and pristine lakes in the Vicente Pérez Rosales National Park and the Iconic Architecture of the Chiloé island, dotted with palafitos (colorful stilt houses) and over 150 wooden churches, many of which are UNESCO World Heritage . Nevertheless, the most impressive route is Cruce Andino, the lake crossing from Bariloche, Argentina to Puerto Varas, Chile. I enjoyed the one night stay at the 5-stars Peulla Hotel and hiking in the rain forest along the crossing. Of course, there is plenty of fresh sea food, steak, ceviche and curanto. Great cuisine and wine at a very affordable price. I am looking forward for the personalized trip next year by Velosity.

Fantastic experience: Trent has been booking my trips every year since 2015 to South America and Asia except the year of 2020 and 2021. He has booked trips for me to the Peruvian Amazon , Patagonia in Argentina , Galapagos , Northern Argentina, and recently to Chile and Northern Peru . The Andino Cruze recently from Bariloche Argentina to Puella Chile was a wonderful trip crossing so many lakes . The views were amazing snow capped mountains , dark green glacier lakes and lush forestry . We had a great trip because of his good planning and suggestions. I am looking forward to next year again . Negative experience: Absolutely the worst customer service EVER!! We planned a 1st time trip to Hawaii and after we purchased and paid for everything, we wanted to upgrade to first class seats on the flight!! Complete silence from Velocity!! Finally ended up going to the airport and buying the upgrade there!! What a joke!! We would give zero stars if we could!! Seen your response: you guys are a joke!! I continued to call back and purchase the upgrade and you NEVER CALLED ME BACK!! You can write all you want for a response…but we know what really happened.

Fantastic experience: January 2020- I first reviewed Velocity Tours a few years ago for Disneyland Tickets we purchased. We recently booked with Dave at Velocity for a group trip with 5 couples to Riviera Maya Mexico. Dave was fantastic in helping us get the best deal on our all inclusive adults only resort! He knows so much and was happy to find answers to any questions we had. He also helped us schedule private transfers from the Cancun airport to our resort and had lots of great recommendations on activities. If you want to travel, give him a call! Highly recommended! Fantastic experience: I have been using Velocity Tours since 2006 for trips to Guatemala and Peru among other places. My family and I just spent 3 1/2 weeks in France, England, Scotland and Italy. Dave did a wonderful job planning an AMAZING trip for us. His attention to detail is impeccable. I'm already planning a trip to Australia for next year with him. I highly recommend them! Just an update, instead of Australia we went back to Europe over the summer to Denmark, Norway, Sweden, Finland, Estonia and Germany. Again Dave was top notch in planning this trip.

Negative experience: Beware of bait and switch tactics..... My family found their website when searching for Universal Studios tickets. We felt confident after calling in and talking to them and confirming price on website. Several purchased tickets on the site soon after, only to have them cancelled and told the price was suddenly different (and even more expensive than buying direct from Universal!) Caveat emptor - even if you call in and they tell you the prices are correct and your order goes through. Good customer service goes a long way....as does word of mouth....positive OR negative :/

Besides setting up an amazing experience in Ecuador, they rescued us when, on our return trip, our group of 14 became stranded in Bogota due to a blizzard in NYC. Trent and Will worked their magic in getting us home, against all odds. They worked into the night until everything got resolved; including re-booking on different airlines, staying at a hotel for free, and getting full credit/refunds. I cannot recommend Velocity highly enough!

We were on a Balitc Cruise and were unable to return to St Petersburg for our return flight to Salt Lake. They are especially helpful with my trips to Guatemala because Maria is familiar with many of the hotels there. Fantastic experience: I have used Velocity for several trips through our church to Africa. They do a great job and show personal attention. I don't know how an agency provides such great customer service and such a low price, but Velocity Tours & Travel delivers!

Negative experience: I've used Velocity Travel for three international trips and I have been disappointed each and every time. In India, a friend of mine wanted to add himself to our tour. Mauricio added him to the tour but didn't confirm for over a week so my friend was left guessing and missed half the tour. In Peru, I was overcharged for flights and ended up with all middle seats though I had specifically requested aisle seats. And, on my most recent trip to Thailand, I twisted my ankle and asked Maria four days in advance of my flight to request a wheelchair and to look to see if there were any seats closer to the front of the plane. She didn't respond until I had already boarded the plane. Each time I have emailed my circumstances to the owner who seems a little non nonchalant about my complaints. I think this agency tries to give low prices, but usually you can match the prices online if you look yourself. I don't feel their customer service is timely enough, especially when I'm in a foreign country and need help.

Positive experience: My experience with Velocity Tours was one of the best. Dave was friendly and was very helpful in booking our family vacation to Hawaii. He address all my concerns and even suggested that we stay in condo instead of hotel because we were traveling with kids and that the kitchen might be handy. The condo was absolutely beautiful and there was so much space, a lot more than we would've gotten from hotel room. We were able to save money on our vacation by preparing our own meals in the condo verses having to eat out all the time. Dave even called to make sure that everything was okay with flight to checking in with Condo since we arrived on holiday (memorial day).
