Negative experience: I have never been in a AAA, where I have been ignored. I entered this location, while visiting Kansas hoping to get a map of the state, upon entering we were not greeted, much less acknowledged. There was about 4 employees and not a single person looked up from behind their desk. There was one female waiting at the main counter and she seemed to have been waiting a while herself, after waiting for about 10 minutes, we decided to walk out.

Negative experience: On today’s date at 1330 hours you had a driver driving all over the road, into the oncoming lane of traffic because he was on his phone. Rock rd and 53rd towing a white minivan.

Negative experience: The “drivers” are a joke, a bunch of steering wheel holders. This driver blocked 3 cars in at QT and made the customer push the car out to tow it on the bed!. (That’s not the correct way) he had space to back up to it. And hook it. AAA needs to get more experience tow operators, and tech them to be courteous of other people around.

Negative experience: Lock on my RV was stuck and unable to lock and be safe in my camper. Locksmith works 9am to 6pm. Only comment “Hi good evening this is Monique from AAA on a recorded line for Mrs. Larson. I was calling in regards to you need the locksmith. I do apologize for any inconvenience but we our locksmith is off. He works from 9 AM to 6 PM. And unfortunately, we don't have anyone else this evening that may be able to assist if you decide to seek outside services just keep your receipt and submit it for reimbursement or we can have somebody come out first thing in the morning if you could give us a call back here at AAA to advise it would be greatly appreciated. Negative experience: I called multiple times got told wait was 60-90 min the first time then I was told they where to busy to come get us so we scheduled an appointment for the morning at 9 am and then we never heard anything back and called them to get an idea on what was happening and they kept hanging up so we asked to talk to management and they also hung up

Negative experience: Don't ask for locksmith service on the weekend with these guys the call line will tell you the estimated wait time then will wait an hour and a half to call you back just to tell you they don't do locksmith services on the weekend what a waste of money

Positive experience: Love this location. Right across the street from my favorite donuts. Easy access from either street and plenty of parking. As a Premium member this shop has a wonderful layout of travel maps and accessories. The team at the desk was welcoming and very helpful.

Negative experience: Earlier this year I call for a tow, they said 2-3 hour wait. With no updates after 2 hours I try to call back, the representstive disconnects call twice in a row. Takes 5 calls to get an update. Took nearly 6 hours from time of call until car was towed. Fast forward to August. Call again for help. Tell me someone will be out at 1:30pm & CALL EN ROUTE. At 12:49pm get a text they are at car. Well no one called or messaged when they were en route. I wasnt going to wait with the car in this heat. We went to lunch as to be back at car by 1:30 when they were to arrive. The guy calls 4x in a row while we are headed back to car & he is already at the car. Why couldn't you call when you are on the way? MOST UNPROFESSIONAL SERVICE OUT THERE. Canceled tow as no one from this organization knows how to communicate effectively or conduct business professionally. It's not hard. Other outfits can do this service professionally. Very upsetting when you are trying to take care of things the right way & AAA service has declined greatly.

Fantastic experience: If you do not have AAA you don't have someone that will help you 24 hours a day 7 days a week rain norsnow (like a postman) lol. They will bring you a battery, gas, tow, check and see if they can get your vehicle started. Great people make you feel safe almost like having your own personal super hero!! If you don't have AAA PLEASE GET IT TODAY!!!!

Negative experience: From Los Angeles and literally traveling through to my destination. Wanted to make sure AAA received my payment in full. My status says pending and this office refused to accept a payment or setup a new account being that I’m am relocating to KANSAS. She told me Olathe KANSAS is part of Missouri. I’ve been a plus member for over 2 decades. No excuses. AAA in Kansas has no class and could care less about it’s members. She tried to tell me I needed to all some number. I told her, Honey that’s YOUR JOB!!!

Negative experience: Worst place customer service ever! We booked a cruise got insurance for coverage in case of problems. Wife had health issues and we had to cancel in advance of the trip. These people won't even return phone calls to resolve the repayment of our trip! Matt Bert and his boss won't do anything. I will never do business with this company again. We have been waiting since March of 2020 for our refund.

Negative experience: I am a 42 year member but seriously looking at other options. I can change a tire but the lug nuts were too tight for me to handle. My “hour” wait was at 58 minutes with no contact. A wonderful stranger got the lug nuts off and changed my tire. I am upset because this is not the first time that I needed help from AAA Also there are so many options on the 800 number that makes the frustration more frustrating. When I did get a real time person, she was courteous

Negative experience: Have had great experience over the past few years but this year they changed their policy and would not come jump start my truck as it no longer qualified. Maybe they should have told me that at the first of the year before I paid. This same truck they had come out for service 3 years ago and no problem. Shame you pay money and they won't even come jump start a simple 12 volt battery. And yes I paid extra for the premium service.

Fantastic experience: Since spring, we have been going in to this AAA office to get free maps, order Trip Ticki's and purchase U.S.A. atlas along with the world atlas. Every single time we have been greeted with the upmost kindness and assistance. If we have to wait, it's simply because they are assisting other people with the same kindness and assistance that is given to us. This AAA location is the BEST!

Negative experience: If I could give this location a zero I would. I am absolutely furious with their customer service and sales tactics. We told the sales person what we needed to be covered for travel insurance and if they were able to accommodate. They said yes that it was no problem, everything we needed was covered with travel insurance. BOLD FACE LIE. When we returned from our vacation after a few hiccups we put in our claim, which the sales person told us would not be a problem, and low and behold our claim was denied. We had several things happen that made it impossible for us to make all of our locations. Im sorry I should have taken a picture of myself vomiting my guts out. Or the picture of when we had to change our tire to get it patched. We are literally out several thousands of dollars on bookings we couldnt make. We took all precautions for a month long vacation with AAA's assurance if anything went wrong we would be covered and we were not. When we confronted the sales person he said he was mistaken and told us what he promised us was actually NOT covered. Just flat out said he lied. We used to think highly of AAA. But several thousands of dollars later....our minds are changed. Do not recommend. I definitely recommend going through a REAL travel agent and/or an insurance broker. Negative experience: I signed up and was told my membership will work right away, turns out I won't have the plus membership until one week. It doesn't say that any where in the website. I thought to just cancel it then I was told they would not give me the membership fee back Why ? I didn't even use the membership I asked to speak to supervisor and he didn't even talk to me but instead he kept talking to me through the representative

Negative experience: I have a longstanding issue with roadside service. My complaint is not necessarily with the roadside tech although he may have been the party who dropped the ball. My wife’s car has had battery problems and we purchased and had installed a new AAA battery for it. After continued problems and roadside assistance calls, I ended up taking the car to my mechanic who determined that the issue was that the battery was the wrong size for the vehicle’s compartment. It was shorting out, but fortunately had not set the backseat on fire yet although it had been searing the foam. I called AAA to have one of their techs come out to confirm the situation and get a replacement battery. The tech did so and got the necessary authorization from a supervisor of some sort to make the exchange. The correct size battery was not in stock and would have to be ordered. That was months ago and the backseat has been out of place ever since that time. Now I admit that I haven’t been dogged in following up on this, but AAA has totally fallen short on any kind of follow up whatsoever. My biggest beef is the complete nuisance it is to try and follow up when even a call to the local office lands me in a phone tree that does not get me where I need to be and has me being passed back and forth between departments.

Negative experience: Was told about 3:40ish that they would be here between then and five ten but then close to five said he'd be there by 5:18. So probably another thrity minutes I'll have to sit here and wait.

Positive experience: The prices are good or I would have left already.. Our agent is Duffy and he is completely horrible.. We almost got our insurance canceled because he got 2 notices to provide paperwork he had already and it was never done. DO NOT USE DUFFY!
