Negative experience: I was greeted by a women who if she smiled her face would have cracked. I was interested in getting hotel room for two rooms for two nights. He said the only available would cost $1000.00. The reason being there was a shortage of available rooms on August 3rd and 4th. He made no effort to find another hotel within my price range. I asked about Wyndham he said he did not see that hotel.
Negative experience: Rude and unhelpful. I was “greeted” by a woman who looked less than pleased to have to do her job. I was never asked if I was a member—which I am—and she proceeded to tell me that physical vacation brochures are all digital now and there wasn’t much she could do. She seemed flustered to have to explain anything to me, and she finally managed to stand up and walk to the back where she managed to procure a five-year-old guide I may or may not be able to use. When I asked simple questions, I received flustered responses as though I should have known the answers. It was a wholly unpleasant experience, and I’m extremely disappointed. I am a 13 year member who pays for the highest level of service. I didn’t deserve this sort of disinterested and slightly confrontational response, and I am seriously considering dropping my membership completely.
Negative experience: I booked and paid for a trip at the office in January 2024 & My trip is in April. I have called several times 4x concerning my trip and no call back? Very unprofessionalism at that office, I regret that I choose that branch and will never go back or recommend
Negative experience: Very unfair business practices. Hard to believe they are still in business with so many complaints. My specific issues is my car insurance.
Negative experience: I have been waiting to hear back from a travel agent concerning a trip to Portugal since December 21st I have emailed, left voice mail message and contacted the office manager concerning the poor customer service I was getting. But ,as of today January 19th I still have not received a response from the agent or her manager. This type of communication is very disappointing and shocking. Now I have to start all over

Negative experience: Roadside Service Complaint I am appalled at the ridiculous wait time between my initial call and receiving roadside assistance. My initial call was around 3:15 PM on January 13, 2022, stating that my car battery was dead. I expected the arrival of assistance within thirty minutes. Instead, I made numerous calls, in 30 minutes increments, requesting assistance from 3:15 PM to approximately 6:00 PM. I explained on my second call that I needed to deliver my vehicle to the auto shop before 5 PM for a diagnostic and possible battery replacement. The representative stated that she would escalate my call. Each customer service representative I spoke with either didn't know I placed a service request or gave me a different approximate arrival time. For example, one customer service representative started to send help to a California address, which I hadn't lived at for years. I felt like a beggar waiting to receive charity. Finally, at approximately 6:40 PM, help arrived. The un-masked service technician that arrived about 6:40 PM stated that he had just gotten the dispatch message for my location. ??? As a loyal member of the Automobile Association of America for 53 years, I am very displeased and angry with AAA. Over my 53 years, I have rarely called for assistance. On the few occasions that I did call for roadside assistance, the response was within 20 minutes. However, if this is the level that AAA has declined to, I'm seriously considering not renewing my membership.
Fantastic experience: Called for a tow for my car. They were pretty expedient in getting to me. Customer service and the mechanic were very nice and helpful.

Negative experience: It wasn't good, when I called (2x) to complain about a battery I previously purchased that stopped working I was on hold sooooo long 17mins I had to hang up. The call never went through...bad service. I'll try again this week..God willing. oh it also takes awhile for roadside service to come. That's why I cancelled my membership. All I want is a refund for the battery that I bought.

Negative experience: AAA noteworthy experience the holiday weekend in July. I called AAA and the company they called never called or showed up to give me a battery jump. I was 3 hours getting to work. I called a outside company to assist me with the battery jump. When I got AAA on the next occasion the guy told me the battery sold by a company serving AAA was no good. I want my my money back for the battery. When I was late for 3 hours I got changed at my job. I left a message for someone in charge to contact me, oh well they didn't respond

Negative experience: I've been a member of AAA for a very long time it's been great for roadside assistance. Went in recently for help in booking a rental car in Kyoto Japan. The first time I went they made the reservation at the rental office I needed it to be at (I thought) so I thought everything was fine. Later on I realized I never got a reservation number so I went back to get one. Fortunately I did this because it turned out the resurvation was not at the office I needed it to be at it was five miles away from where I was staying. So I tried to get it back at the office I needed it and they said it could not be there because it was not an Avis office it had to be at the Avis office five miles away which was no help at all. I kept the resurvation and went home and ended up making a new resurvation on my own at the office it needed to be at next to the hotel I was staying at so I cancelled the AAA resurvation. Guess what when I got to Kyoto and went to pick up my car at the rental office it had a big sign in the window saying Avis rental cars.
