TurnKey Vacation Rentals - Galveston

Negative experience: I had to cancel my recently purchased rental due to the tragic, sudden loss of my brother. I contacted the owner thru the app as the websites recommended. My request was ignored. I then called the next day and was told I was outside the cancelation window. (By 1 day) I was offered the insurance and was told I was eligible. I was texted a link and was assured that I was within the window to purchase the insurance. I also had an email mailed to me that same day reminding me to purchase insurance. I followed the link given to me by the representative but was rejected at the checkout page. I tried the email I was sent and received the same rejection message. This company did nothing to work with me. I was open to a credit for a future date. I was open to partial credit. I tried to purchase the insurance I was told I was eligible for. I tried contacting the owner within the 3 days to cancle but was ignored. The owner never responded. When I brought up the insurance issue I was told they can not do anything because it was a 3rd party company. This is the worst "Vacation rental " business I've ever dealt with. Definitely feel ripped off and disregarded by them. I would NOT recommend booking with them.

Negative experience: The house we rented on panola Dr. Was musty and had a constant oder of mold. It was old and outdated. I had wished we had saved the money and srayed in a hotel. It would have been half the price and much more enjoyable!

Fantastic experience: We booked a last minute trip to take my momma on her first vacation! After being home for a year with the pandemic and losing my daddy suddenly in the middle of all that chaos, TurnKey was just what we needed. The house was super clean and convenient to the beach. We had an awesome time and highly reccomend!! Booking, check-in/check-out was quick and easy!

Negative experience: I absolutely 10 out of 10 DO NOT recommend booking a vacation rental for this company they will get away with stealing money from your account. My first time ever Renting A vacation home for my family so we can all stay together while my grandma‘s memorial and they conned me out of my money. I screenshot every document I signed and then was emailed a copy of what I had signed and I had 3 pages added to my documents that I did not sign. Was told there was no way to prove that I didn’t sign them that I could have missed over the pages. Which I know I didn’t sign at the time. I read every single pages to my husband at the time I signed them and screen shotted every page. Nope. Don’t get my deposit back because I supposedly signed the paper which I know I didn’t about a 72 hour after booking cancel policy. Then money was taken out of my account that was not authorized then was told it was my banks fault! They need to be shut down.

Fantastic experience: Beautiful place with more than enough room for my family. Would definitely book again & refer to my friends and family.

Negative experience: Very disappointed that I received a confirmation of my booking but then later received notice my booking was canceled. I called to followup and was told that they didn’t know but the place was not available. Now I am stuck with no place available for my family during a busy Memorial Day weekend.

Negative experience: This company is HORRID. Absolutely HORRID. They will steal, lie, and con their way through the entire booking/rental process. As HUNDREDS of other reviewers wrote they will take your money, then cancel on you, proceed to offer a credit, and then give you new rental options at a higher price. Oh, and then they’ll cancel those too, eventually. They will also tell you that the alternatives they provide are comparable to what you originally booked. Not even close. They are scam artists and should be shut down. I’ve reported to the BBB. And they’ll reply to this awful review with the same generic reply they gave the other hundreds of negative reviews. Do your research on what this company actually stands for and DO NOT GIVE THEM BUSINESS. They’ve had over 500 negative reviews in the past 12 months alone.

Fantastic experience: The house where we stayed was even better than described. When an issue arrived the staff was responsive, professional, efficient, and took care of the issue right away. We had the best family vacation ever! Next vacation, we are contacting TurnKey for rentals. We highly recommend this business. We have done business with other agencies, and none have come close to the service and value we received from TurnKey. Thank you!

Positive experience: We stayed at a beach house on Indian Beach the first week in January. Immediately we noticed that the shower door wouldn’t close and two of the master bedroom shades didn’t work (one was stuck up and the other stuck down — there are 7 in the half-circle wall of windows facing the beach.). TurnKey sent someone out that afternoon to fix the problems. They did fix the shower door, but couldn’t fix the shades. They did force the shade that was stuck up to close, but that negatively affected the view. Someone came out three different times that day to measure the windows. That evening we discovered that there was no way to turn on the lights over the dining table. We contacted TurnKey - no response. We ate in the dark and had to stop working on our jigsaw puzzles with no light. The next morning we contacted them two more times. No response. After a third attempt, they did respond, but no one knew how to turn on the light. There wasn’t a switch for the light. (It was probably a missing remote control device.). They said they’d try to rectify the problem by 6:00 pm. They didn’t. On the 3rd day, after we checked out and were driving home, I received a text that they would send someone out right away to “change the lightbulbs.” We never did have light in the dining area. No game nights as planned.

Fantastic experience: Very clean and large enough for family. Easy walk to the beach.

Negative experience: I rented the home for my family, Dec 26th-30th in Jamaican Beach (17215 FM 3005). When we arrived at the home, the floors had not been swept or mopped at all. There was long, black hair everywhere, even hanging on the handrails. Even without COVID, I would have expected the house to be cleaner. I am not even sure the toilets were cleaned. They had a spray on the seat and lid but not wiped down. One sinks had what appeared to be blood in it. I wiped it up with a clorox wipe. Someone in my group took a picture of their sock after walking around and it was so gross that I left my shoes on the rest of the stay. I did mention this issue to Turnkey when we arrived, and they did offer to send someone out the next day. I declined the offer and just cleaned it on my own since we were already in the home. The sheets and towels were clean but did have hair (they need to wash in smaller loads). The silverware was dirty, but put away. I would recommend washing the towels and dishes before using. Everything they gave me about connecting to wifi was wrong, so we had to “diagnose the issue” but they fixed that issue quickly. The wifi is extremely fast and was a great connection up until the last day (wasn't working at all on last day). The bunkbeds were built in place, only using finishing nails. The mattresses were falling through without the support, sitting on pullout drawers at end. Kids could easily cause the entire thing to collapse. There are also nails on the deck that were not hammered in completely. The freezer was frozen shut the entire time we were there. The second day we did not have hot water. I contacted Turnkey and they said they would send someone before noon the following day. Since we had to wait, we started looking into the problem and found that the propane tank was empty. I let them know that same day. We canceled all plans that next day because we could not get showers (some of us went with a cold shower but when I say cold, I mean polar cold). I did not hear from anyone by noon so I checked back with Turnkey. I received a call, they said they were confused with our complaint. They thought we were out of propane for the grill and the electric hot water heater was not working. I explained that the grill is charcoal so that is not an issue, but the hot water heater is a tankless gas hot water heater. They said they did not have gas and it was in the attic (basically, said I was wrong). They dropped off a small propane take that evening (for the gas grill that we did not have) and because we were now on day two of shower issues, we decided to hook the small tank up so we could take showers. If we did not know how to do this, we would have been without hot water from our first full day until our last full day. We lost a day of activities during our stay and majority of the time there, I was chasing down issues instead of enjoying my stay. When the workers were at the house on our last full day, they said guest services would contact me to compensate me for my issues. They never called so I contacted them a few days later. They did offer me a $515 refund (8% of my stay). With all the issues and time, it took to be fixed, that refund was more of an insult but at least it was something. The home does have amazing views. If it was cleaner and the propane issues was handled same day, without us having to do it all on our own, I would have gave them 5 stars. The house is on a public beach but it is quiet and when we were out there, everyone gave us our space. It is the end house next to the post that keeps people from driving down the beach so if were out there, people did not drive over by us. There were people that had fires at the end of our walk every night though and left a mess. Someone would come around and clean it up daily though. Overall, I would not rent from Turnkey again. The company is too big to provide decent customer service. They were quick to respond and genuinely nice but overall, not helpful.

Fantastic experience: This is home is beautiful and a great place to stay while in Port Bolivar. Very great location! I highly recommend it.

The TK team was responsive, and evening managed to send a speaker which was left behind via mail which was very much appreciated. I would definitely recommend!

Fantastic experience: Was easy to book. I loved that we didnt have to have contact with anyone to get in the house (bc of covid). The house is amazing and spacious and is in the best location! It had all the supplies you could possibly need when you're away from home. There was plenty of room for all 9 of us. Our only problem was the sliding door to the master bedroom would stick and was very hard to open. Other than that nothing was wrong!!

Fantastic experience: Awesome experience! From booking to checkout it was a great experience. All communication was handled via email and text. We were afforded early check in to a a spotless one bedroom condo that was just like the photos online. Great location right on the beach no crossing the road to get to the beach. SeaScape resort is a well cared for property and the staff we encountered were friendly and accommodating. One nice surprise was in the hall closet it was filled with beach stuff. Most definitely I would book again.

Negative experience: Turn Key is the absolute worst vacation rental company in the world. We are currently staying at a turn key property in Galveston and are having a major issue with the house and can’t get anyone on the phone to help. We have talked to multiple people at a call center and have asked to speak with a manager and it goes nowhere. Go elsewhere - if you have an issue - you won’t get it fixed.

Negative experience: I booked a vacay rental for the end of July 2020. I have been trying to contact TurnKey about my payment. It is impossible to get in contact with anyone. I have tried phone calls, e-mails, and texts. I have heard absolutely nothing back. Not professional at all and not the customer service you expect when paying so much money. Will never book a property managed by TurnKey again.

Negative experience: Refused to refund my $1000 after Galveston was closed to casual travel during covid-19. They only offered a credit to be used at SAME PROPERTY. The event I scheduled the rental for, which also was canceled due to pandemic, will not be rescheduled. Thus I have zero reason to stay in same home in 18 months.

Fantastic experience: This place was clean easy to find and had all the latest amenities. The beds were so comfortable, plus there was netflix. The best part of my entire experience was the text message communication. I did not have to wait on hold or go through an automated system. I just sent a text and received my answer by text, it was amazing. The customer service was superb!!

Negative experience: This company is TRASH! You might as well book at a motel 6. At least you know they won't cancel your reservation 3 DAYS before you are supposed to arrive!!!! This place was booked 6 MONTHS in advance. No excuse for such a late cancellation notice. That is truly unprofessional. Do not book here! DO NOT BOOK HERE!!!!! Save your money.

Negative experience: This company is a joke! Me and my friends had a Beach house booked and paid for in FULL since FEBRUARY 2019 and today on Tuesday July 30th they tell us that our reservation for this FRIDAY AUGUST THE 2ND because the owners had a “prior engagement” that interferes with our reservation! Not even an offer to relocate us or anything! We’ve had this set in stone for MONTHS and had multiple people coming from very far distances for this weekend and just like that just 3 days before they cancel our whole reservation! What kind of professionalism is this?! Don’t offer your property up for rent and commit to a reservation months in advance just to cancel it on the client just DAYS before the set dates! Unprofessional is a complete understatement for this company!

Positive experience: The house was very conveniently located. Even a shorter walking distance than I had imagined. We had access to several sections of the beach, plenty of restaurants and shops, the Pleasure Pier, and various other sorts of entertainment. Check-in was easy and the lock worked just like the directions said (make sure you read them all because I missed the part about the alarm code, whoops!) The house was very clean and well laid out. We slept 4 adults and a toddler and the one bathroom was not even an issue. Just a few small things which might be a bigger deal for other people: the remote controls were hard to figure out and the batteries were dead in some. The trash from people before us was out at the curb the whole weekend and flies were swarming. The other large trash bin for us smelled very rank and should be cleaned out. There was supposed to be an extra towels under the sink, but I only found small towels and washcloths. The downstairs was fun with the pool table and other games, but if you had to park in the garage you couldn't play cornhole. We had 2 vehicles and there is no parking except in garage and in front of the house. We were worried we weren't supposed to be parked there, but I could not figure out which was worse, being parked in driveway blocking the sidewalk, or by curb where it said 2 hour parking. For the price I have got a nicer home on Crystal Beach, but there is nothing on Crystal Beach but the beach, 2 restaurants, and a gas station, and the drive to the Seawall is bad with traffic. So all in all, this home provided exactly what it was advertised for and was very fun!

Fantastic experience: We enjoyed our well maintained and appointed beach house 3 blocks from beach. It was perfect for our family of 4 adults and 2 children. Plenty of towels and more than adequate kitchen equipment. Only suggestion would be to tint or add blinds to glass front door which faced neighboring property. Communication with TurnKey was superb!

Negative experience: We reserved a home for 4th of july weekend in April. The description showed 4 bedrooms yet no picture. They then changed it to a 3bedroom. 11days before our arrival they cancelled our reservation and said the home was no longer available. Turnkey said nothing they can do that the owners can di that. Wow. What a way to do business.

Negative experience: After reading the previous reviews of cleanliness, I still took a chance and booked this beach house because it was so roomy. We were disappointed that he house wasn't cleaned to our standards. We found food platters and silverware that was put a way with food still on them. The throw pillows on the couch were filthy and appeared to have never been cleaned. We could not watch tv for the entire stay because the tv remote didn't work. When we did change the channel without the use of the remove, the tv set up kept timing out due to the set up on the surround sound. It was a horrible mess. There is no customer support in that no one would show up to help us fix the tv problem much less walk us through it on the phone. The home was beautiful but if you decide to pick this place, don't plan on using the 6th bedroom which is not attached to the house and was an addition on the ground level. The room is smelly and only has a half bath. There are no windows in that room so basically, it was useless to our group because no one wanted to sleep in it. What was supposed to be a peaceful get a way, ended up being hours of frustration and cleaning.

Negative experience: Rented a beach house back in January. Paid for the beach house in full and was confirmed that they beach house would be ready 3 days prior to arrival. Less than 48 hours before my vacation I received an email that my beach house was no longer livable. No explanation to what was wrong with it or why we were not able to stay. When I called to trying to straighten out the problem I was informed that they could relocate me from a beach side house to a house in the middle of town no discounts. I informed them that the whole purpose of the stay was to be on the beach and that I required a beach house for my stay. They offered no assistance and told me all they could do is refund my money. Leaving me with no beach house less that 48 hours before me vacation. They refused to try to help just offered the refund. I could not believe how unwilling they were to help or even try to resolve the problem. Do not trust them to guarantee the rental. Would not recommend.

Negative experience: Never Again! Rented a beach house in Galveston for the weekend. House location was excellent. Furniture, bedding, towels, amenities were outdated. I had to go purchase bedding and towels because I was afraid to use what was provided. Couch felt humid and full of sand. Had to cover with sheets in order to sit. House is full of roaches! Overall very disappointed!! I would not recommend these to anyone.

Negative experience: When we first arrived, we could not get into the house. We waited 2 hours with groceries sitting outside before someone came and he still wasn’t able to get us in. Once inside, there was sand all over the floor and all over the couch. There was no soap, toilet paper, paper towels, etc. We weren’t able to lock the door for the first two days because the keypad didn’t work, and then Lance came over and put a dead bolt in. The door had a huge gap in it and the wood at the bottom of it was broken off, leaving space for all the roaches to get in. These roaches were all over the walls and by the trash can in the kitchen. In the kitchen, the handle on the microwave was broken off and the toaster was also broken. I got a call that there was mold in the showers and it needed to be checked out during our stay. Ardon was very helpful, but overall, the property was not up to the expected standards for the amount of money we paid for it.

Fantastic experience: Wow. Just wow! Everything was perfect. The house was GORGEOUS! The renovation was done perfectly...100+ year old charm & quirkiness meets gorgeous, modern, luxurious upgrades. I did a lot of cooking for my team while we were there & was a little skeptical about cooking in that kitchen because of the layout, but I actually loved it & fell in love with the French door oven, so now we are planning to replace our oven in our home with one. LOL! The tin ceilings were breathtaking, too & we really loved how there was so much original glass in the windows of the home. The house is very well equipped...in fact, I need to say that this was our second stay in 8 months at a TurnKey property, but we have been staying in vacay rentals through HomeAway/VRBO for years. In all our stays, there are several things that stand WAY OUT for the TurnKey properties vs. others. Mind you, we have NEVER had a bad experience in a HomeAway/VRBO property, but the TurnKey experiences have been absolutely STELLAR! First, the homes have been the cleanest...like (embarrassingly) cleaner than my own home. Second, the kitchens have been the most well equipped I have ever seen in a rental - ever! Third, the beds have been the most comfortable - & I will NOT re-rent a home where the beds were uncomfortable. Nobody wants to go on vacation & not be able to sleep because the beds sucked & end up not enjoying their vacation. Lastly, they are very responsive, easy to deal with & offer excellent customer service! I was planning to re-rent the Park City house through TurnKey again this summer, but someone else beat me to it. However, they are now my first stop when looking for a vacation property. They seem to hit every major thing that is important to us in a place to stay. Overall, 10 out of 10 on both the house & the management company!

Fantastic experience: We stayed for a family trip to Moody Gardens, the location of the house was perfect it was close to everything. Upon arrival it was very clean, the beds were very comfortable. We loved it. Hope to stay again this spring.

Negative experience: Nice place to stay but just make sure you are quiet. We stayed here a couple of nights before our wedding, we had family stay with us (both parents, bothers and sisters and grandma) and we had two noise complaints. We were just cooking dinner, laughing and having a good time around your normal 7pm dinner time. So either book the huge home for 2 people or make sure your groups whispers when they are in the house.

Positive experience: The condo was great! Location was perfect, right on the seawall. The condo was clean and as pictured. One negative: the patio had not been cleaned in quite sometime and we were not able to sit out. One point of confusion: the directions have you pull in the main gate, which is located on the side street, and then you are directed to the rental office on your right. This is misleading as the rental office is on your right when you are parked in the front parking area located on Seawall Blvd.

Positive experience: This is a great little condo for a couple! It's recently been remodeled--love the surfboard bartop. Two things though--they have GOT to get some firm pillows. The ones that were there are like a bag full of air, they flattened out so badly even with several stacked. We actually bought pillows while there so we could sleep. Second thing, basic cable (or local TV) would be nice. Not everyone has Netflix (we do, but we had difficulties connecting at first), and the wi-fi is very weak and occasionally loses signal completely. Other than those two issues, we had a great Thanksgiving weekend! The location is great, and having free parking is a bonus. The reservation process and check-in process were easy and fast, and the condo was very clean. Love the keyless entry system! We will definitely consider Seabird Suite again!!!!

Fantastic experience: We had a fabulous time in Galveston staying at 11628 Sportsman Rd. My sun was getting married and we needed a place for our family plus all of the groomsman Tuesday. Everyone was comfortable and there was plenty of beds for 14 people. The house was very clean and well furnished. It had everything we needed. Our most favorite part was all of the outdoor space, deck, dock, seating, covered areas. We will definitely book the house again should we visit Galveston.

Fantastic experience: We agree with others who reviewed the property. The main drawback is that the spiral staircase would not be good for elderly or very young kids, but its design does save space. The biggest problem we had was locating the fishing pier on the bay side. We texted and emailed the company who manages the property but they were clueless as to what we were asking about. Hint: leave instructions or a map with the key so that this isn’t a problem for future renters. Overall, we loved the property and found the kitchen to be fully stocked and functional. Fantastic experience: This is my new "go to" condo for staycationing in Galveston! I loved the SeaScape property and the condo was PERFECT for our needs. It sleeps 6 comfortably with a king, a queen and a twin bunk bed. I'm even more impressed with TurnKey property management company. On top of the outstanding communication, we had an issue with a moldy shower curtain liner and I sent a message to them and within hours, a new curtain was delivered to the door! How's THAT for service? The condo was stocked with all essentials and super clean. The only "fix" I would suggest is to get new cushions for the living room couch. That thing was horribly uncomfortable. Thanks for a great stay and looking forward to future stays!

Negative experience: Absolutely the worst company I have ever had dealings with in my entire life!!!!! Worthless, ripoffs !!!! Liars, thief’s, careless, rude, and heartless!!! Originally we were on our way from Oklahoma, they booked the house and picked it for us. Upon getting within 2 hours of here they call us and tell us the home is a new construction and was not available until noon the next day. We spent 700 with them so far (turn key vacation rentals) then we had to turn around to find a hotel that would accommodate us and spend 789 dollars for 1 night due to how many of us there was and how many rooms it took in Ennis tx. Then we get here the next day and this “new construction” was in a bad neighborhood and run down. We have called the people because our door code wouldn’t work and even though they told us we could check in at noon the made us wait outside until 3 o clock. We get in the house and there are only 3 beds and would not fit our family. We call them angry cause they assured us it would fit our family. We spent a total of 8 solid hours on the phone with these people if you would add them all together. They offer us a free extra night for the trouble! However that house wouldn’t fit us and it had bugs, mold, exposed wires, rust, cracked walls, no ocean view even though it was advertised, dirty fans, missing lighting covers, greasy blinds, not swept of mopped, it was absolutely gross and nasty! And too small. We call them back and the manager says I can either deal with it or take a refund and vacate the property. He was doing nothing else for us. We then take an hour to think about it because he said he had 0 available homes to transfer us too. The first home we found on VRBO was theirs so we called back in and confirmed it was available, however they refused to move us to it and said we would forfeit our free night and pay full price for the other house. So I asked them to give me an hour to see if we would find something else or we would have to tough it out cause there is 10 of us already here in two vehicles. Then an hour later I call back and they told me I accepted the full refund and left the house. I never accepted the full refund as I asked for an hour to make a choice. They in turn turned off power to the door code box on the door with our premature infant babies formula in the house and my credit card that I needed to even think about booking something else. I called the Galveston police department and they had to come to help us get our stuff as they said they were coming and didn’t and we had a hungry screaming infant and no formula, cause he takes a very special kind that we order. The police finally get us the stuff out of the home and the company was on the phone the whole time, they kept saying I accepted the refund, upon one of the managers listening to the call he called me back and admitted I never said that but it’s too late and their is nothing they will do for me unless I pay full price. So we have deposit and every dime they took tied up waiting on a refund and then have to call a new vacation rental place (vacasa) and spend 1195 for the two remaining nights. This home is leaking, flooding through the door, mold, and their was blood all over the child’s comforter in the kids room. We also have a call into them but customer service said they could not help and wouldn’t do any good to get repair man out since we are leaving so soon, no compensation offered at this time from this company. So for 3 nights stay we have almost 3000 dollars tied up and the original house was only suppose to be 7-800 for the whole stay

Positive experience: My classmates and I had a great time living in this beach house. It was neat and clean and the beach was steps away, which was a plus. I rated the beach house a 3 star because it was a little small for 12 people and there wasn't enough parking space, towels, sheets or blankets to accommodate 12 people. However, we did make the best of it with great company, great food, karaoke and games. I was a little disappointed but all in all we enjoyed our weekend.

Fantastic experience: This beach house was a perfect fit for our family of 5. You can't beat the closeness of Jamaica Beach, the wonderful restaurants in the neighborhood and pure comfort of this area. We will definitely be back! The house was clean, comfortable and just what we needed to enjoy our beach weekend. Plenty of space, inside and out.

Positive experience: Location to ocean and pier was great, the house itself wasn’t so great. We stayed 5 days and had limited towels for showering. One of the toilet seat in master bathroom was broken, the sink in the guest bathroom was broken. The deck in the back yard was really sketchy, it shook back and forth, while walking up the stairs, and walking around on the deck. I wouldn’t allow the kids to get on it! The splash pad at the park across the street from the house was ok for the kids. The neighborhood was GHETTO! I will find a different place to stay next time we’re in Galveston. The 3 stars I gave is because the house slept 11 people, and was a block from the ocean.

Fantastic experience: We received complete instructions before we left for the rental. The beach cabin was very clean, wifi worked, appliances were good. When I called Turnkey, I was able to talk to an actual person, that was important. These guys are professionals. Great experience.

Reviewer Comments: The location and the Seascape grounds were great. The room was generally clean. First thing we noticed was the mat by the bathtub was not washed or replaced. It was wet as if someone had just used it. FIRST A NOTE FOR FUTURE RENTERS: There are 3 chairs for beach use. 1 actual beach chair, 1 adult folding chair, and 1 child's folding chair. There is also a wagon to carry thing to the beach and an umbrella. There are also some other things like sand buckets and a mat to lay on. My main question was the chairs and no one had the correct answer. You get your parking pass from the guard as you enter the property. other issues we noted 1) No cover on the glass door to the balcony. Not good for sleeping in the living room 2) Would have liked to have had paper towels 3) The fan in the closet is broken. Appears to have been dropped. 4) There were only 4 pool passes. could have been normal since we only had 4 people?? 5) top drawer on closet side night stand will not open. 6) Bed frame or something to raise it would be nice 7) In our opinion there were too many pillows on the couch and they got in the way...

Positive experience: We stayed in the “Artistic 3BR Home - 1 Block to Beach.” In Galveston, TX. Pros: The place was beautiful and had a room with a queen bed, a room with two double beds, and a little area with a twin bed. The walk to the Pier and beach was short. There is a shower head on a spicket in the backyard for the rinsing of sandy feet. The turnkey entrance made it to where we did not have to worry about a key while at the beach, and the alarm made us feel as though our stay was safe. Cons: The neighborhood is pretty rough. A large African American family lives right next door, and their children are incredibly rude and very loud. A car continued to sit outside the bedroom with its base music roaring for all three nights we stayed. The beach closest to the house is not the nicest, and there is noise pollution from the Pier, so it’s more fun to go further even though it is inconvenient. They only provide one hand towel, one wash cloth, and one dish towel. Seriously, how is a girl supposed to take her makeup off? They offer NO beach chairs, beach towels, beach anything. The worst thing of all: all the water from all spickets, no matter which way you turned them, were SCALDING hot. No cold water at all. The turnkey people also did not respond to me with anything helpful for our whole stay, and it was way overpriced for the quality of customer service.

Fantastic experience: We needed a last minute rental for a birthday surprise and TurnKey Vacation Rentals supplied our need with a reasonable rate and even gave us early check-in and late departure. It was a great experience and I am sure we will be renting from them again soon!!

Fantastic experience: My wife and I celebrated our 29th anniversary with our adult children and grand kids. First no pace is perfect but we only had small problems that did not matter. the home was clean nice and well equipped with more than we expected or needed. It is nice for a rental to be ready for our stay without having to buy or drag a bunch of stuff from home. Thanks. The sitting area downstairs was nice and allowed a good place to visit while the kids played. Their was a good collection of toys for the kids that seemed endless. Plenty of beach toys also. The price was fair and the neighbors were nice. I enjoyed a trouble free weekend and had a great time with my wife and family. owner management please fix the door lock we were locked out for over an hour. I would recommend this house to others.

Fantastic experience: Received very detailed information about rental. Management team was readily available the whole time (even though we didn't need help with anything- it was still nice to know we could contact them whenever).

Positive experience: 14107 Duncan Way...great experience. Well established quiet neighborhood. Close access for walking or driving on to the beach (drive entrance couple streets down from the neighborhood). Two old charcoal grills and a few water toys below the house. Inside was very tidy and clean. Questionable about the hand cuffs and other nik-naks left on top shelf of the closets. Other than that, felt like home. About 5 minute drive from pleasure pier. Would recommend this place to a friend.

Positive experience: The house was well equipped, clean and loved the room set ups. Beds were comfortable and we slept great! Great location and view! Beach was clean and amazing! The left upstairs bedroom French door wasn’t secured properly by cleaning or someone prior to our visit so there was damage to the door. We were able to secure the door and the manager/maintenance team were quick to respond and handle the situation. The only other negative thing was, when we first arrived, the smell of the water coming out of the faucets was salt and sewer smell! The house has it’s own water purification system. After running the water a bit, the next morning the smell was gone and all was great! Overall great experience and wonderful memories for our group!

Positive experience: Nice townhome with a good view of the ocean. Pools were nice and one was heated which was great considering it was cool outside. You have to pay $20/each car for parking which wasn't told to us ahead of time, so be prepared to pay to park.

Fantastic experience: As soon as we walked up on the deck we heard the surf. So relaxing. Beautiful deck with beach access. Enjoyed watching the amazing sunrise every morning from the deck and beach. Very quiet and private. (Visit end of November) Well stocked kitchen. Rooms good size and plenty of comfortable bed. Slept to the sound of the waves. Unfortunate about the water. But easy to pick up water nearby. Appreciated moist facial towlets left in bathrooms. Water was just fine for showering. Plenty of towels and wash cloths. Really enjoyed our stay.

Fantastic experience: Came down after a conference in Houston with 2 girlfriends to celebrate my birthday and it was amazing! Felt like home. Perfect location....within walking distance from walmart and literally steps from the beach. If I ever have to come to Galveston again I would definitely choose this place again!

Positive experience: Really nice view! Good location. Comfortable and clean. 2nd bedroom, living room and kitchen were alittle small. The water was off one day for some repairs and it would have been much appreciated if they would have told us. We didn't get to shower or use our toilets most of the day. So we just left for the day and worked that out. All in all it was a nice place and Turnkey was good. Great view and good location.
