Fantastic experience: As always Ambassador Travel did a great job planning our trip. We have used them for probably 20 years or more. This trip was to Hawaii both Honolulu and Hawaii (Waikiki and Kona). The accommodations were located right on the beach and were wonderful. The trip to Pearl Harbor, The Polynesian Cultural Center and the Island Tour of Kona were all spectacular. We had a lot of transfers with the flights and excursions and they all worked out perfectly. She went above and beyond to help me with booking a vacation to Mexico, and even helped me when I changed my mind on the place and switched resorts at the last minute. This woman has patience! I appreciated everything she sent me for options and also any questions that I had she had an answer. We went to El Dorado Royale and the place was very nice and well kept with the best food and drinks I have ever had in Mexico. My husband and I personally were kind of bored there because the entertainment was mediocre so mostly we felt that all there was to do at the resort was lay around and drink, however, the food and drinks were very good. The biggest downside is there are giant concrete barriers on the beach (and the beach is very rocky) that got washed in by hurricane so we only took a little dip in the ocean one time since the beach swimming area is not very accessible on this resort. We took a trip to the sister resort and had a fun day of snorkeling on a catamaran which was the best part of the trip! We enjoyed seeing turtles and cool fish. Overall, it was a great experience.

Fantastic experience: I recently took a trip to Riviera Maya and booked my trip with Toni and Ambassador Travel. She is wonderful and my trip was just as great. We went to El Dorado Royale. Here is my review on the resort: Trip was loads of fun! Positives:  The food was delicious and the resort offered so many accommodations.  We went on a free trip to Maroma Beach from 8 am - 5 pm transportation provided.  While there went on a 3 hour catamaran ride with drinks included and snorkeled.  When back on the beach a free food and drinks were offered along with free kayaking, paddle boarding and 30 minute jet ski rides!  We didn't even have to book an excursion because this was all included!  :)  ...My favorite part was going on a jungle bike tour (also included by the resort) where our tour guide brought us to the abandoned home of the late Juan Gabriel (who he compared to Michael Jackson of Mexico).  While on this tour, we also went to a dried up cenote and visited the resort's crocodile who they named Poncho.  ...The pools were soooo hot but we found relief in the saltwater pool that used ocean water which was super cool.  The golf cart rides to and from dinner were a lifesaver since the resort is a good size.  I got an 80 minute massage from Paulina one day and it was wonderful.  We didn't have to deal with towel cards, clean towels for the beach and pool were readily available. Negatives:  There was one day when our room wasn't cleaned and we even put the "please clean room" tag on the outside of the door and there wasn't turn down service (unmaking bed).  I think this is the first resort where I have gone that didn't do this, so a bit surprising but not terrible.  We were told to book dinner reservations to go to our concierge that is assigned to our room but everytime we went there the concierge wasn't there even though it was their working hours according to the front desk.  When going to a different concierge, they only would book 1 reservation the first time and were told to go back to our assigned concierge.  After our concierge not being in their assigned location AGAIN, the other concierge booked the rest of our dinner reservations.

Fantastic experience: Our girls’ trip to Secrets Cap Cana was perfect! The food was some of the best I’ve ever had at a resort. Service at this resort was exceptional and the people were so, so kind. It was a super clean resort… to the point where I’d almost swear they clean bathrooms in between every person. (Even the restrooms on the beach!) The beach at this resort was huge and had so many pretty palm trees with beautiful turquoise waters to look out on. The water was also super calm and you could walk a long ways out in it. We booked a swim out and loved having the option to spend our evenings out there if we chose. Julie Lorence with Ambassador Travel took such good care of us and made everything so easy! Would definitely book this resort again with zero hesitations!

Fantastic experience: This was my first time working with Ambassador Travel and Jennifer Pannier was our agent and she was wonderful. I took my kids to Cancun for their very first time and they are older so wanted to make sure they had plenty to do. We ended up going to Riu Palace in Costa Mujares. Jennifer was very knowledgeable on many resorts and helped me choose the right one for my kids after providing her with our criteria. Riu Palace was beautiful, the beach was amazing and kept very clean and I loved the adult only pools. Lots of restaurant/food options and all were very good. Staff at the resort was amazing, and my kids instantly made friends with all of them. The RIU Parties were a hit with the kids as well and I enjoyed a few of the shows on the resort, would definitely go back and will definitely use Ambassador Travel/Jennifer again!

St. Lucia was magical and the Grande Sandals that we stayed at was the perfect choice for us! There was so much to do on the island if you love excursions like waterfall hikes, ATV rides, catamaran and snorkeling (we did them all!) or if you just want to drink tropical drinks on the beach you had the best spot on the island for it! A HUGE thank you to Toni and her team for ensuring that our honeymoon was perfect all around!

Positive experience: Overall I liked the resort. The beach was awesome. Room was an 8/10. Food was good. Downfalls were that you had to make reservations ahead of time to actually get into a restaurant. We were not prepared for that and many places were already booked. Another downfall was lack of evening entertainment. There wasn't much at all. I guess you had to research that ahead of time as well and make arrangements to travel to the other resorts. Again, best thing about this resort was the beach.

I appreciated the printed instructions for transportation and check-in points. I stayed at the Riu Cancun. The hospitality and kindness of the staff was top knotch. The cafe inside the hotel on the first floor was excellent. I spent all of my mornings there. Every morning, i had fresh fruit, a parfait, and an americano. Side note, the cafe staff makes amazing Frappuccinos. The food at the hotel was a hit or miss. The Japanese restaurant was excellent, the Italian one, not so much. I didn't have a chance to try the other ones. The buffet at lunch wasn't my favorite. They provided basic American food, and the quality wasn't there. The midnight buffet had good burritos. I was a fan. The drinks were amazing! I do virgin. Tip your staff, and they put forth more effort. The beach was beautiful. The water felt great.The locals who sell things on the beach are friendly but pushy. Be stern and polite, say no. I experienced dry heat in Cancun. Sometimes, it could be a little much, but overall, it was relaxing. When i ventured out of the hotel for food elsewhere, there were children who were out late selling soveinors. Poverty is prevalent in many countries. I tried to have empathy while not carrying heavy sadness while on vacation. I made a local friend who showed me the local markets, street food, and restaurants, which were beyond my expectations. I dined and watched a show in a pirate ship. I also went to Xcaret. It was spectacular. I swam in caves, watched a beautiful cultural depiction of Mexican history, saw many animals, ate authentic food, and more. I also got to ride the buses, which is an experience in itself. Cancun culture is filled with love, food, and family. I would definitely recommend it as a travel destination.

Everything has been fantastic and so easy and organized. We just got back from Trafalgar’s Utah’s Mighty Five National Parks. It is an active trip with hiking and also included state parks and the beautiful Antelope Canyon. What an amazing trip! I highly recommend this trip. Fantastic experience: We booked a flight to London and cruise to Norway on our own but needed assistance with Hotel, excursions and transport while in London after the cruise. Toni Crunk provided excellent service and gave us several alternatives from which to choose. We stayed at the Rubens at the Palace in London and while it is an older hotel, it was centralized and only about 1/4 mile from Buckingham Palace. The hotel staff was wonderful and very helpful with all of our needs. I didn't realize it but we could have transferred the cruise and flight to our travel agent but did not know it in time to do so. Toni also recommended we use Viator to arrange for excursions and we did so taking the tour of london and although a long 9 hrs - it was very informative and scenic. In the future we will book through Ambassador Travel

Negative experience: Wasn't impressed with this travel agency. Extra helpful information was never provided without specific questioning. We have used other travel agents before and know how helpful and knowledgeable they can be- so this was a disappointment. We were using credits from a canceled trip- so I don't think we were their priority.

Fantastic experience: A group of us recently used Ambasador Traver for a trip to the Dominican Republic and it was suggested to us that Secrets in Cap Cana was a wonderful resort. We had a group of 6 and Julia at Ambassador handled all the details of our trip from our overnight in a hotel before flight, the flight and final destination. Our group cannot express what a fantastic time we had on our week long excursion. The Secrets was fabulous along with the dining, employees, housekeeping and everyone there that helped make our trip the trip of a lifetime. Fantastic experience: Toni helped us with our 1st trip to Cabo. She explained which all inclusive resorts would match our needs & party level. We decided on RIU Baja.
