Fantastic experience: We took a half-day tour of DC for the Memorial Day Weekend, and have been greatly impressed with the tailored experience! From start to finish, the tour was well-prepared, enjoyable and adapted to each of the family members’ interests. Our guide Felix was not only highly knowledgeable but also engaging, sharing anecdotes and historical insights from the Air Force memorial to the Lincoln memorial, through the Kennedy Center and its spectacular terrace view. Fantastic experience: I am the planner for vacations and tried my best to accommodate my 76 y/o cousin. Unfortunately, the weather was extremely hot and not enjoyable. We met Christopher at a July 4th event and wish I had met him earlier! After the debacle of a bus tour I contacted Christopher to arrange a NEXT DAY tour for 3 little old ladies. He did a wonderful job, fixed us right up for an air conditioned ride with driver Sabastian. Richard was our guide and he did a phenomenal job! Richard has a passion for DC and it showed in the tour he provided. We went places we never thought about for our visit (hint: Secret Service vans at the blockade of a former presidential candidate's home. Not sure if Bill was in residence!). He took us to the Kennedy Center, which was such a treat! Would definitely recommend Tiber Creek and Christopher's team!

We started the first day with a four hour Welcome to DC tour, followed by the Federal Buildings, and finally Arlington National Cemetary. Jana was our guide each day and our driver was Gabriel. Both of them were so lovely and professional and incredibly knowledgeable of all things US history as well as funny anecdotes, and lesser known facts and things to see and do. My 10-year old son was really engaged and interested in everything he saw thanks to Jana's efficient yet thorough explanations and she is very good with presenting the vast amount of information! This was my fourth trip to DC yet the first time I really felt I learned so much of the history. Thank you!

Fantastic experience: I was on the fence about a private tour and am so very glad that I went ahead with Tiber Creek. It was even nicer than I expected. Felix is incredibly knowledgeable and has such a great demeanor. He took the time to get to know my child's interests, then he tailored the tour and his "talk" to suit. Therefore, I know the city well and, since I worked for and with the government for most of that time, I am very familiar with the political and legislative world. I was entertaining some really close friends of mine from the West Coast and from Canada, so I wanted a very professional and knowledgeable tour. I couldn't have picked a better company than Tiber Creek. Each tour was special in that the tour guides were totally experienced and pleasant to deal with in every respect. Even though some of the group were sort of aware of some of the background of places we visited, we all learned new and fascinating background about each place we visited. What made these experiences so perfect for us you may wonder - Gabriel (our driver) and Felix (our guide)! I wanted a once in a lifetime type experience, and it was that and so much more. There is so much more to DC than just 'seeing' the sites - the history of their origin makes it mean more, and Felix (and Gabriel, too) were so knowledgeable and shared these lesser known facts with us about basically every monument and building in DC. Fantastic experience: I have traveled to DC several times with groups both large and small. This private tour for four was, by far, one of my favorites. My inquiry about availability on short notice was immediately returned. The cost is reasonable for the level of service. I was asked questions about what we wanted to see, our backgrounds, and any other information we cared to share. As educators, we were open to any and everything. We went to dinner and our driver and guide texted and told us they were ready when we were and picked us up at the restaurant. Our driver, Gabriel, and our guide, Felix were top ten of all guides and drivers I've ever experienced. The vehicle was plush and comfortable. There was bottled water in the drink holders for us. They both were the first out of the vehicle to open our doors and offer a hand in and out. Each of the monuments and locations we visited were supported with excellent information from Felix while Gabriel drove us as close as possible for drop off and pick ups. It was a beautiful experience and I can HIGHLY recommend Tiber Creek Private Tours. I will certainly call them the next time I am in the city and I will request both Felix an Gabriel again.

Fantastic experience: We had a wonderful time on our tour of Washington, DC with Jana our tour guide with Tiber Creek Tours. They were on time the morning of our tour, and we hit the ground running. Chris was able to take the things we were interested in and cater to us and what we wanted to make the tour an awesome experience. Our son is graduating, so we took him on a special trip to DC, and booking a tour with Chris and Tiber Creek really made the trip go from great to awesome. We had a very professional driver who was excellent. Jana was a tremendous tour guide, and she will move as fast or as slow as you need or like for your tour. She also took us to what she said was "the best hamburger in DC" for lunch, and we all agreed that she was right! We spend 3 days in DC, and after the first day, my wife posted pics of all that we did on Day #1 with Jana and Tiber Creek Tours and a few friends said, "wow, what a great day. Honestly, what else is there to do the rest of the trip?" That first day of using Tiber Creek gave us freedom to take out time the next 2 days and focus on other places and things we wanted to do. Fantastic experience: Chris and Team at Tiber Creek Private Tours put together a wonderfully well planed tour for us in Washington DC. Everything was first class. Our driver, Gabriel, and our tour guide, Jana, were the highlight of the trip. They were extremely knowledgeable, charming, and let us go at our own pace. We saw everything we wanted to, and more, without the hassle of driving, parking, and waiting in line. It was one of our favorite tours thanks to the excellent work of Tiber Creek!

Fantastic experience: Travelling from Australia we booked with Christopher for 3 day tours in both NY and DC. We had Sean in NY and Felix in DC and they were both absolutely fabulous. They are both ex architects and knew all the history of every site we visited. We were travelling with our two teenagers and both Sean and Felix kept them fully engaged and were interested in their opinions and ideas. I would highly recommend Tiber Creek Tours.

Fantastic experience: We booked a family tour of Washington for the day after Thanksgiving, and it was wonderful. The driver Asim took us in a Mercedes Spitfire 12 passenger bus, and was most professional in every way. The tour guide, Chris was charming, knowledgeable, and wonderful to be with. I highly recommend the company, and the day.

Fantastic experience: Tiber Creek Private Tours is the only way to see DC the right way!!! It was great I wish we weren’t so late , next time we will prepare more to be able to take more photos and have a longer trip. Of course with two 18 year olds they wanted as many pics as they can get for their social media :) but with the short notice to reserve this tour and the accommodations provoided, I cannot complain. Richard wanted to make sure we were able to see most of what was on the itinerary and he did that . Richard was great very knowledgeable and grasped the young ones attention as well as the adults. I was quizzing the two little ones at dinner that night , it was amazing to see how much knowledge they adhered. I will most definitely be back and also recommend you to my friends and family once they visit the DC area. Thanks again this DC trip was the mental break I needed and Richard was lovely and real, we couldn’t have asked for a better guide.

Fantastic experience: Excellent Tour Company to work with. Christopher was very friendly, helpful, knowledgeable and professional. I told Christopher that my husband and I are taking our 10 year old granddaughter on a special trip to Washington, DC. He knew the exact itinerary I was looking and hoping for. He explained all the details for each day. He gave recommendations for hotels and restaurants and other things to do outside of the packed filled days he set up for us! Our itinerary was perfect! We had a wonderful and knowledgable private tour guide, Felix and a private driver. Felix was very engaging with our granddaughter. Always addressed her as he was explaining the different aspects of Washington DC. She is still taking about her trip! He was very accommodating and always on time! It was a great experience for all of us to spend 4 fun filled days with Felix! Highly recommend Tiber Creek and make sure to get Felix as your tour guide. You won't be disappointed.

Fantastic experience: We had a private 4 hour tour with Tiber Creek and it was perfect for our needs. The guide, Richard, was awesome. We had two adults and 4 children (ages 4-16) and he kept it interesting and engaging for all of us. He asked a lot of questions up front about what we wanted to see. He obviously enjoys what he does and is really good at it. The tour was very flexible and we continually talked through what we wanted to see next. Daniel, our driver, was great as well …. Navigating all the traffic and such and dripping us off just steps from each venue. We called to change the pickup location about 2 hours before the tour and it wasn’t an issue. Chris just said … “sure. No problem at all”. Great communication. Awesome customer service. Professional people to work with. We loved it and would definitely use Tiber Creek again in the future.

Fantastic experience: I have taken several tours of DC. I used to live in the area and I love taking friends and families on private tours of DC. There is no doubt that this private tour is by far the best and worth every penny. There were four of us in my group and two of them have never been to DC, so I wanted them to see DC at night. I told the company that I wanted a nighttime tour and they sent me a full itinerary of places that we would visit and worth seeing at night. Our driver, Gabrielle, picked us up right in front of our Airbnb in a beautiful black Lincoln Navigator and took us to meet our amazing tour guide, Felix. As I said before, I have been on several private tours and an entire week of a school trip with a great guide, but Felix was better and went above and beyond to make sure my group saw the best sights at night. If you think it might seem expensive for a private tour, trust me, you will get so much more from this tour than just a drive by, big group, tour. This tour is catered to you and your group specifically, and Felix took all kinds of pictures of us in our group. He is very knowledgeable about the architecture and history of the monuments and museums. You will not be disappointed. I am planning on going again with friends in the spring and will definitely be contacting Tiber Creek Private Tours and requesting Felix and Gabrielle for another tour and will choose the 4 hour option next time.

Fantastic experience: Recently did a private tour of DC with this company. It was a last minute add on and they were so accommodating to our needs. The guide Felix was so knowledgeable and fun to be with. I was not new to DC but learned and saw so much new stuff in such a short period of time. Worth every penny! Thanks again.

Fantastic experience: My husband and I and our 4 kids, ages 12-18 just got back from and AMAZING trip to DC and had two wonderful tours with Felix from Tiber! Chris from Tiber helped plan our trip before we came and checked with us several times to make sure everything was perfect! We had a wonderful driver and a Mercedes sprinter to travel around in, it was very comfortable!! Felix was awesome about packing in as much as we could and never felt rushed! It’s a step above the rest!!

Positive experience: We had a great tour guide, Felix and a great driver as well, Gabriel. Both were professional and personable. It was a large part of why we enjoyed out trip to DC! Our pick up was a clean luxury vehicle with a safe knowledgeable driver.

Fantastic experience: We booked a 3 hour moonlight tour of the Washington DC monuments. We were escorted privately in a very comfortable SUV- the four adults, two children, driver, and guide had plenty of room and were whisked quickly in and out - getting out to walk around at the Lincoln, Jefferson, WWII, MLK, Vietnam, and Air Force Memorials. Drove by and discussed the highlights of many other buildings. Our guide, Felix, was excellent with a background in architecture and a love of history that brought DC to life. He was patient and kind to our 11 year old grandsons and kept all of us interested and entertained. I cannot recommend this company more. It is worth the extra money to have a private guide and transportation. I felt sorry for the cheap bus loads of people following a guide around and having to walk farther because of bus parking. By the time the last people arrived, the guide and the front of the crowd were finished and moving on. Felix was the guide to have and this tour was the highlight of our vacation.
