Negative experience: Our cruise was cancelled without any prior notice, leaving us scrambling at the last minute. Instead of offering a reasonable solution, we were told the only alternative was a cruise in December, even though our original plans were for July. We tried to resolve the issue directly with the owner, Monica Pena, but unfortunately, she was unhelpful and dismissive. The overall experience was frustrating and unprofessional.

Fantastic experience: I absolutely loved it...enjoyed the last especially the Xmas songs, the plays, the duck hunting lol ,the food,the waiters our own personal Justin Bieber (Bodie 127 table) lol so funny loved his personality, our room attendant Normandy the best very kind n love my turtle beautiful,the ports, ECT.... everything, (the only negative part that y'all need to work on is y'all need to add more waiters on the casino's they took for ever to get us our drinks 10 to 15 some times longer) is not there fault y'all just need to add more when it's busy...the more drunk we are the more money we lose lol but overall I love it... One more thing lower the picture prices a little because y'all get more ppl to buy thing if they can afford n it all adds up n we can take memories instead y'all have to throw them because of the prices... Not all of us have the funds we work as hard as y'all do to take this beautiful trip and memories are for ever but a picture shows a thousand times our memories of happiness thank you Liz.... I even got proposed by a nice sweet jewelry person...wish he made it special for those that are thinking of getting engaged the jewelry very beautiful n they have specials... I absolutely love it...

Positive experience: Great 1st time experience cruising out of Galveston. From the parking at the paylot across the street to getting to the cruise terminal in 10- 15 minutes. We were through security and on the boat in less than 45 minutes. The disembarking process was seamless and we were at our vehicle in about 45 minutes to an hour after leaving our cabin aboard Carnival Horizon.

Negative experience: Very bad experience, they have charged more than 1000$ extra for package and also charged another 500$ for Deluxe alcohol package but did not inform cruise about it .. had to pay for beverages.. they never reimbursed the those charges after many requests

Negative experience: Called looking for some information about cruises. When the phone was answered it sounded very chaotic. I was hung up on, called back still chaotic was told by the person who answered she was at her second job??? Someone else was supposed to call me back-? Never happened. Sounds a bit scammy and sketchy to me

Positive experience: It was my first cruise. I met some great people. The red frog was the best bar. The bartenders were the best. The food was decent. The service all over the boat was great, but apparently, you're supposed to have a room steward that kinda helps guide you and make everything a good experience, I never once met mine. There are lots of activities if you like that sort of thing. There were lots of children that seemed to be having a blast. There seemed to be a little bit of something for everyone. If you don't like people or crowds, it's not for you. But all lines move pretty quickly. It's the worst The very first day because it's several hours before anyone has access to their rooms. The pools and hot tubs stayed pretty packed. All in all, I would go again. We went on a five day. The first few days were confusing, but once you get acclimated, it gets better.

I am writing to you as the Manager of Cruises From Galveston, a reputable cruise agency located in Galveston, Texas. I am aware that you recently posted a review on our Google page on 7 weeks ago which we believe to be defamatory and harmful to our reputation.
We value feedback from our customers and take reviews seriously, whether positive or negative. However, we believe that your review, titled "so badky behavior ," contains statements that are untrue, damaging, and potentially defamatory. The comments you made have had a detrimental impact on our business, causing financial losses and harm to our reputation.
It is our hope to resolve this matter amicably and avoid any further legal action. To that end, we kindly request that you cease and desist from making any further defamatory statements about our business, whether online or in any other form of communication. We kindly ask that you remove the review titled "so badky behavior" from our Google page within within 7 days from the receipt of this response.

Fantastic experience: Back 4 LONG YEARS AGO I stayed at the Galveston Inn and I was concerned about parking the vehicle the cost where out of this world but I was happy to find out that I could leave it their for free traveling on the cruise. I went down stairs prayed about a driver or taxi or someone to pick us up for drop off and pick up after the cruise. I ran across MISS MONICA CARD I SAID LORD YOU KNOW I HATE TECHNOLOGY BUT HELP ME AND SHE WAS THE ONLY NAME I KEPT HEARING. I called and she answered in the most clamming pleasant voice and I knew she was the one. Here I am 4 years later going on my second cruise and I WILL ONLY USE HER SERVICES AND FULLY TRUST HER 100%. Give her a call she was truly a blessing.

Negative experience: Monica deserted us. We waited two hours for her to pick us up and take back to her parking place. We phoned her about seven times. She answered maybe twice. Maria answered twice and hung up on us. I was finally given a ride to pick up my vehicle to drive back to the pier to pick up family, friends, and luggage. I’m just glad I had to park outside or I might still be waiting. We were driving to Oklahoma and because of her non-service we were two hours late. She isn’t prepared to handle more than a couple with their luggage. She talks a good game but doesn’t perform well. She got one star because there weren’t negative stars. We did not have a walker and the road closures and heavy traffic did not cause any problems from pier to her place of business. She could have sent one vehicle to pick me up but didn’t. The fact is that she is trying to provide a service that she isn’t equipped to do. We did stop and she didn’t say that would be a problem.
Thank you for taking the time to write a review about our pick up services. A driver was dispatched to you and waited 38 minutes at Pink number 5 where the LYFT pick up is located. A screenshot of your driver and wait time was texted to you via your cell phone. We also accomodated you on the outbound with luggage assistance 2 drivers and a stop at Walgreens that included a 20 minute wait time. We did go over and beyond to assist all guests however we are sorry you missed the ride sent to you.

She gave Superior Service with a smile and I was able to go on my Disney Cruise in peace. I called literally 20 times in the month of January nobody can find anything until Monica made a way. She got us great cabins, handled our vax exemption paperwork, and dropped us off and picked us up at the port. She even worked with Carnival to correct some booking problems. Fantastic experience: In trying to find information about where to park in Galveston for our cruise, I came across Cruises From Galveston in a google search. This was such a blessing to us, because we called the number and Monica immediately gave us information as to how we could park with her. Upon arrival she drove us a few miles away to the port, and was there to pick us up immediately when we got off the ship this morning! Her price beat any of the lots we tried (that were full), and we felt like we had a personal guide to get us to and from our ship. The communication with Monica was excellent (she was immediately responsive to any message) and gave us a lot of information as to how she could help us with travel arrangements in the future. We were so appreciative of her hospitality and kindness, and we will definitely use her for any future travel needs.

Fantastic experience: Finally, we are getting on our way to our cruise. What started out as a simple booking for 3 turned into a problem. Carnival would not give our 7 year old daughter an exemption since her second C19 shot was only 11 days out from the sailing date. Then the numerous E-mails and telephone calls started. Monica spent hours on hold from Carnival just to get the reservation changed from 3 to 2. Finally, the booking was corrected, and we were able to get our boarding passes. We sail today and Monica got us 500 on board credits. We are also parking at their facility much more cheaply than we have been paying. Monica, you and your organization did a GREAT job. Thank you again.

Negative experience: We were unable to attend a cruise scheduled for November 2020 due to the cruise being cancelled because of COVID-19. Payment for the cruise was made in March of 2020. It is now April 2021 and I still have yet to receive a refund. I have been in constant communication with the agent but to no resolve. I am unsure how their business is if you actually are able to attend the cruise but I more than likely will not book with this company in the future.
