Negative experience: I needed to acquire new auto insurance but told Agent Michael that I was moving to New York. Mike told me I could purchase the premium and transfer it to NY. Well here I am and I am told I need to buy a new premium. Thanks Mike, you could have sold me traveler's insurance but I guess you really needed the commission. I expect to be lied to by most sales people but I thought AAA had integrity. Hopefully I can get a refund as I don't have another $1000 for a new policy.
Negative experience: Would give zero stars if possible. The Eugene AAA office is no longer staffed with knowledgeable, helpful employees. The ones there now? For the last couple of years, they are consistently rude, condescending, and unhelpful. Even unable to answer basic membership questions and then become testy and irritated when the customer tries to obtain further information. Unfortunately as AAA is more or less a monopoly, there are no realistic alteratives for another auto club no matter how much one wishes there was.

Fantastic experience: We joined the Protect My ID program they offer with Experian to prevent fraud, scams, and hackers. We are very happy with this monitoring system.

Fantastic experience: Great care was given to us, Friday evening 9/30/22, when our vehicle was disabled about 8pm on Territorial Hwy., west of Junction City. Two follow up calls were made and the link AAA sent over, allowed us to view our A+ Towing driver’s progress in real-time to rescue us!! Thanks a bunch AAA of OREGON ~ you amazed us‼️
Positive experience: Weird place. Sometimes the folks are nice but the manager is honestly rather rude.
Fantastic experience: In Eugene they always say 1-2hrs. Last 2 times I needed assistance or was closer to 10mins for a tech to arrive.

They should give me commission at this point because it's a personal goal to talk everyone I know I into being members. Negative experience: AAA refused to tow my Chevy Bolt 5 miles across Eugene to dealer. Car would not start and needed diagnosis and repair. I mentioned I was wrapping up process of Buyback due to faulty batteries. Agent said that once I “disclosed” Chevy would be soon buying back the car, AAA would not pay (turned out to be $80) for towing.

Since he needed to go back the same direction as me, he followed behind me to make sure I was okay. Very funny guy as well and has cool skeletons on the side of his truck. Thank you Herman!

Fantastic experience: We use AAA for many things. Their travel agent, Rachelle Guarino, is a delight. Top notch. We have worked with her before and have been pleased. If you have even slightly complicated travel needs, that $25 is money well spent.

Fantastic experience: This center has a nice selection of car related essentials and personal gifts, along with the kind staff and usual services of AAA. I happened to stop in near Christmas, and found some great stocking stuffers!
Fantastic experience: This was not specifically the service center, but the lady who fielded my call for help on a Friday evening in the Eugene area with difficult-to-diagnose car trouble. She helped me figure out options, identified shops open Saturday (2), and scouted availability and pricing for nearby lodging so we knew there was a place with room to stay overnight within walking distance if necessary. She took a very stressful situation down to a much more manageable anxiety level, and we are very grateful.

Fantastic experience: Just back from an Alaska cruise booked through agent Alice Burbo, and everything was handled excellently. The entire process proceeded smoothly, including our special need -- getting an adjoining handicapped stateroom for Mom (we were celebrating her 90th birthday). Alice recommended Holland America Cruise Line, and we found the staff of the Amsterdam to be wonderful. Also, although I'm subject to seasickness, I never needed medication -- the Amsterdam's stabilizers are superb! (Which was great, because the food was gourmet/yummy.) Very pleased with the entire experience.
Negative experience: My husband and I were extremely dissatissfied with a trip we recently purchased through AAA. We started 8 months ago paid for 2 tickets from Portland to Atlanta to see our grand baby born.We also booked 2 motels 1night in Portland and 5 days in Georgia, a car also. This was my husband's very first time flying and he was so excited as I was- to be able to get off work, and to be able to go. I went in office 3 times to pay on this trip and get all arrangements to include seating on flight in window and middle (which I hate but agreed to middle seat for him to have the window and awesome first experience). We payed with debit card for flights and both motels and we're told all was payed for ,except rental car,and we're assured our seating on our flights. First and second motels said my card was not charged and they had to charge even though AAA told us all was payed for except car. The next horrendous part of this trip was a packed 737 and we were booked in seats 15A and 15B- the row with absolutely no room - smallest, and out of the whole plane our side of row 15 was the only one with NO WINDOW!!! Needless to say AAA has struck out 3 times with us already- I have flown a lot and never been more miserable as my husband was ,not to mention very dissapointed and never wants to book any trip with them again- who knows how the rest of trip will be but the money issue with the motels and seating issue on plane when they were mentioned and asked about more than once, and we were assured all was paid for except car and my husband had a window seat is the deciding factor for us to never book a trip again with AAA. To us it is clear we shouldn't have trusted what we were told and that AAA travel did not do the job!
