Negative experience: They are so so so slow when it comes to towing especially in Summer & Winter. I been sitting in the heat for 2 hours waiting for a tow. Definitely switching to Onstar.

Fantastic experience: Josh at AAA Clive was very helpful! He truly saved my travel plans for the week and we were in a giant hurry. I appreciate his thoughtfulness and even got me a secondary travel book last minute. Great customer service.

Negative experience: If I could give it a 0 star I would. These people are rude and they give incorrect information. I wish somewhere else in the united states would do international driver's licenses so this place couldn't be supported.

Negative experience: I'm going to cancel this membership my vehicle has broke down on the side of the road next to my house and they won't have it tow to my driveway why would. I have this company someone you can't rely on When I call them three to four times every time I talk to someone and I wanted to cancel the membership they hung up on me. I finally left a message on the Clive answer machine to have them call me to cancel this membership because I don't want to be working with this company that can't do something as simple as moving a vehicle from side of the road into my parking lot.

Positive experience: They were helpful. I was looking for some specific travel brochures though and was disappointed to find out it's apparently all online. Some things need to be in old-fashioned book form.

Negative experience: Worse company I've ever had insurance through.. started out great for the first year.. then I had to get a new card because someone stole it.. and I got penalized for a late payment over me having to switch cards.. they changed my auto pay and made my payments higher.. do not use this company

Positive experience: I really wasn't going to leave a rating at all because I know these are terrible weather conditions, even for tow trucks. I just wanted to vent that if you realistically don't know if helping your clients is possible, LET THEM KNOW. I was prepared to wait in my car for a couple of hours, not days. I let them know my situation and only after the fifth call did they think to advise me to be escorted back home via a Lyft driver that they couldn't even find. Fortunately my car miraculously started working again and I got home just fine, but it was one of the scariest nights of my life. I have the utmost empathy for you guys and your crew, I just wanted to remind you that being honest can make a huge difference to someone, even if it's to say you can't fulfill your promise.

Negative experience: Been with AAA for maybe 3 months. Chad was very helpful with purchasing the insurance but extremely silent and slow with any follow up questions. Canceled my policy and will not to business with Chad again.

Negative experience: If I could leave 0 stars, I would. I have never been lied to and insulted by one company in one afternoon. Being told I could have my car towed from the mechanics parking lot where it died (on recording) after I already had gotten both the key and permission from the mechanic to do so. Then told not only would they not do it, but accused me of stealing my own car. Never been insulted in such a way by any other place I have lived by any other company. Be warned when wasting your money.

Fantastic experience: The staff here at AAA is phenomenal. I’ve been a member for a few years and I’m about to travel overseas. Swung by to get my international drivers license which was a quick and easy process.

Negative experience: I spent 40 minutes trying to talk to a person. Finally got someone and she didn't know how to answer my question and spent another 10 minutes trying to find someone that could help. At least that was what she said. Very poor service and were continuing to push the upsale, insurance, travel, memberships and so on!!!

Negative experience: This place is a joke. Not surprised. I’ve been a member of AAA for years and in the last year I’ve had to wait up to 3 days for a tow. Customer service at all time low and still blaming it on Covid-19. Now 3-4 weeks behind on customer service and call backs. If you can’t do your jobs, quit taking peoples money and shut your doors.

Fantastic experience: The guy is kinda weird when I walked in but I recently purchased insurance from kristen Clancy. I must say I was kinda harder customer never having business hours off and absolutely no ducks in a row. Kristen was a sweetheart she was always ready and got back to me pretty fast giving me notice if she was not at work considering the holidays. I recently purchased a truck and I feel she went above and beyond to help me in everything that I needed. I'm very fortunate to enjoy her professionalism. She really made me feel like she cared about my needs and what I was trying to accomplish. I would hope her company is able to recognize the effort she really puts out. Thank you kristen

Negative experience: My vehicle got towed home and now my gear shifter won't go into park. It was in park when they picked it up and now won't go into park. Draw your own conclusion.

Fantastic experience: We were staying about 20 miles from this AAA office and I called to make sure they were open to the public and they were. I told the person what travel books we were looking for and he said they did have them. I said we would probably be there in 30 minutes. When we got there, he had everything I asked for in a bag with my name on it. I said that I never gave you my name and he replied that he used my phone number to locate my AAA membership profile. This was GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE and we really appreciated what AAA offers their members. If you are traveling and not a AAA member, you should be. They have a lot of great information for their members.

Got me through alot of changes in my life, including a car accident (not my fault) .Also prompt in returning calls and so sweet. John the manager is great as well..I am a on a fixed income and may have found a lower rate but all the employees at the Clive office kept me with AAA..Thanks to all

Negative experience: My husband just had a very poor experience. We don't have to use AAA very often so we sometimes forget all the "rules" when calling for assistance. Family members need to have their own cards. I am the only card holder for my family. When my husband called to see if he could get a jump for his car and use my number instead of explaining, they muttered under their breath "you wish". I am an 8 year member. I doubt I'll be renewing with such poor service.

Fantastic experience: Brian Williams is an agent everyone should want! I have never had better service or anyone who has made me feel more content about my services. AAA in Clive should feel honored to have someone who really knows how to relate to clients. I am happy I called and got the best agent that I can rely on when needed. Their are so many benefits available that I was missing out on with my prior car insurance. Everyone should shop and do yourself a favor and call Brian

Positive experience: Waiting. General service 50% . some time not professional . expensive. They asked many questions about any services. Helping roud need to wait to much for the golden card. Sometimes the roud assistant not professional and rood.

Negative experience: Tripple A is a damn joke. Ive now been waiting for a tow truck for 3 hours in Pleasant Hill at caseys. My family pays good money to have this "service" but when you need it the most its not even worth your time. I could have gone home and picked up a trailer 2 times faster then what tripple A could have done. Not worth the money or time.

Negative experience: Not impressed. Stafg are not helpful at all The prices are to me over the top. But there is alot of variety as far as animal products go. That's the only goid thing. Oh, and it is clean. So that is a good thing too.

Positive experience: AAA offers various services to its members. To me the most valuable has been its travel agency. They have saved me substantial sums on international travel combined with hotel. Many of these deals are not available directly on the internet. However, due to staff shortages, they have not been able to provide the same level of service lately. They have let me down on processing a travel insurance claim, and after having me wait four days for a travel booking, informed me that they were unable to help me and advised me to work through their call center. This turned out to be much less effective and I ended up having to do the booking myself. I then had to pay more than what the travel costs were when I initiated the request. I hope they will be able to sort out their staff shortage and again offer the former excellent service.

Negative experience: If you don't read your letters regularly then don't even think of AAA insurance. They just cancel your policy god knows why and send a letter that's how they notify and they double the policy rates for not having a policy between ( which they cancelled).Had really bad time !!!!
