Fantastic experience: We worked with Lisa on getting our home and auto insurance set up as times are getting a bit more expensive we are looking for the best deals and discounts and she was able to help! Negative experience: I've been a customer since 2013 too long to be ignored. I only come in the office when I have a problem and I've had several this year. I didn't appreciate getting an email my coverage canceled. And 2 men at the office said they would turn the information I would get a text when it was fixed. This is really poor business and doesn't encourage me to keep coverage with you. I'm a small peeble in a large pond but bad news travels fast. Still waiting for an answer sadly

Negative experience: 4/07/25: I had a terrible experience at the AAA location in Garland, Texas. I received a letter from my mortgage company which stated that they paid the renewal premium on my AAA homeowners policy that I had canceled after 9 years effective 3/25/25. I stopped by the office and was speaking with Chris Anderson about it, since I have known him since 2011, and he's always been helpful and friendly. He was looking into it on his monitor and trying to figure it out. I was standing at the counter. Out of no where, Evan Smith walked over and stood behind Chris. He did not greet me, nor acknowledge me. Evan started asking me several questions, and before I could answer, he would ask me additional questions. I did not take well to his tone, and told him that I had been a AAA member for over 20 years. He stated that had nothing to do with anything. I told Evan that I did not know him, did not ask for him, and didn't know why he interjected himself in the situation. Evan decided to talk to Chris about my concern while in front of me, and Chris was put in the uncomfortable position to relay Evan's opinion to me, although I was standing right there, and heard the whole conversation. It’s extremely disappointing to see someone like Evan Smith, a Branch Business Manager (according to his business card) working at AAA, who is very unprofessional, clearly dislikes his job, and is definitely not suited for a customer facing environment. This kind of service damages AAA’s reputation, and upper management should seriously reconsider keeping employees like this. I submitted an online inquiry about my homeowners policy and received a personalized response in three days. I also submitted a complaint form to AAA regarding my unfortunate experience with Evan, and received an apology from the company.

Negative experience: I had a terrible experience at the AAA location in Garland, Texas. When I arrived, the receptionist asked what I needed, and I explained that I was an existing member looking to add a new vehicle to my policy. Instead of connecting me with an insurance agent, he insisted on handling it himself—even though he’s just a receptionist. He made the process unnecessarily difficult, claiming he couldn’t renew my policy unless I physically brought the vehicle in so he could take pictures of the odometer and the car itself. I told him I’ve never had to do this before, but he kept insisting it had to go to an underwriter. Frustrated, I left and went to another AAA location, where they updated my policy quickly and without any of these ridiculous requirements. It’s disappointing to see someone working at AAA who clearly doesn’t know what they’re doing and seems to dislike their job. This kind of service damages AAA’s reputation, and management should seriously reconsider keeping employees like this.

Negative experience: I had a accident recently with a driver from aaa insurance they accepted liability but Christopher Mireles denied my personal injury claim he stated there was no way I was injured I believe he was a racist handling my claim he is very unprofessional please ask for another adjuster if you receive him he’s no good and God will have the last laugh

Negative experience: I have had to utilize a few locations and this by far has been the worst experience. Unfortunately due to a recent move this is the closest .A couple of weeks ago I walked in & there were three people sitting at the desk. The young lady in the middle seemed nice and eager to help. I came to get my new registration stickers. I had forgotten my insurance in the car, grabbed it and came back. The gentleman that was working with her took over. His personality was very dry and just wasn't very pleasant to work with. I have called this location on multiple occasions to check things before I drive over and no one answers the phone. If I hadn't moved I wouldn't even have visited this location as now I'm seeing similar reviews. As I see it now I will make the drive to a different location with better customer service.

Negative experience: It's amazing how unhelpful this office is to existing members. They were nice when I signed up for insurance (home and auto), but when I called a few months later with some questions, the agent that originally helped me completely kept ignoring me. Multiple calls and messages. Even after texting nicely, she did not return my text or calls. Now, I see reviews from others with similar experiences. smh... Lesson learned.

Negative experience: I tried calling beforehand and I've been a AAA member for 7 years. Typically their office has been very helpful. Well today I spoke to a lady "Marie" who was UNWILLING to help me and just threw me in the queue. When I asked for a repre again they just hung up on me.

Negative experience: AAA for auto insurance is good. Home insurance on the other hand, not so good. Right now I am getting a new roof that I am paying for myself. We were victims of the straight line winds that hit our area and before that a tornado that passed through our neighborhood. Three times I made claimes with AAA and three times they said there was no damage. They would not pay for a new roof. My roofer today showed me over ten spots of roof damage and water damage. How come AAA’s adjuster when he came out to inspect my roof, ten stops of damage and water damage. Well I am very disappointed with AAA in all of this. They are good for auto insurance ONLY. Any other insurance they are no good. I can’t trust them to protect my home. Thank you.

Negative experience: I don't trust this company/office based on how they treated my honey. He purchased auto insurance thru another company, cancelled his policy with this one, and then received a refund for almost half a month's service. That was great. He was out of town for two to three weeks when they charged him for another month of service. When he got back into town and went thru all his mail, he put this transaction in dispute. Unfortunately, Chase said it had been too long and they were not able to reverse it. So basically this company had him pay for a month of cancelled service while he also paid his new provider. Get it in writing via text, email, etc to cover your backside when dealing with this company because they obviously don't honor or respect verbal agreements.

Negative experience: Wanted to renew services but only for my son. I was trying to reach for help for about 35 minutes. When Chris finally answered. He didn't want to take my call, so I heard he ask Patrick if he would do that. Patrick did, but they wouldn't honor the price online. I wasn't able to renew my son's online by myself because he was still under my membership. I asked Patrick if I could talk to the manager. He refuses. He asked me why? He said he would try to help. I told him that please remove my son's from my membership and that I would get it by myself online. He did. I asked again if I could talk to the manager, and he denied it dayint the manager needed to know why. I hung up the phone and did it by myself online. I was already on the phone for more than an hour. I called again today because I have been a client for a few years, and I thought the manager should know. Chris answered and would let me talk to the manager. She told me he, Chris, needed to know why. When he finally said he was going to transfer me, I heard him saying, "Don't answer" !!!!! What's going on?! I let him know that I was recording the conversation he put me on hold forever. I hung up. I wish I could post the conversation here

Negative experience: Horrible, horrible, HORRIBLE service. I had an appointment for fingerprinting here and was not greeted upon entering. Signed my name on the paper to let them know I was there for that reason. Sat for 20-30 minutes with no update on what was happening or when they would call me. Finally, I was informed the person in charged of the fingerprinting just up and left so I couldn't do my appointment. When I tried to reschedule, no one ever picked up the phone. I can't speak about the travel aspect. But do not go here for Identogo!

Negative experience: This office and AAA Texas, is the worst agency in insurance that I've ever dealt with in my life. No one in the office seems to have any initiative to simply pick up a telephone and acknowledge a paying customers call. Especially when there is a problem. This will cause me to not ever get another policy. This is unprofessional and unacceptable.

Negative experience: Idk what kind of childish drivers you guys hire had a truck pull in behind me to the gas station as soon as i pulled in tow truck sped up to do his best and to go around and try to block me off in his truck so i couldnt pump the pump was regular gas ONLY he was in his diesel with the gas tank opposite to the pumps there was also an open pump behind him but he tried his best to block off the pump i was pulling into he refused to move and say he had all day to waste time

Negative experience: Nina Garza is a terrible AAA agent. She said “it’s not my job to remember to cancel a policy.” Even though we gave plenty of notice that we were not renewing by email/phone/and text, called the day of renewal, left voicemails and didn’t get a call back. Now she’s refusing to own up to the mistake and make it right. Nina Garza is an agent who doesn’t care about customer service, let alone client relationship building. I would avoid AAA all together, it’s just been a bad experience overall. We don’t have high expectations so it sad when a company like AAA can’t meet the bare minimum.

Fantastic experience: I needed an international driving permit. I called the office, they actually answered the phone, and they gave me all the details on what I needed to do. Everyone at the office was friendly and helpful. I was in and out within 10 minutes. Great AAA Branch.

Negative experience: I was a member for over ten years at the AAA at the Levon DR location in Garland Tx. My insurances for my car and rental were coming up for renewal this summer 2021 . I was quoted a renewal price on my auto insurance from the AAA location on Lavon DR and was sent the quote . When I called back to renew , they reneged on their quote, even though they looked it up on their own computer ,they wanted 75 dollars more than they quoted for my yearly policy which I alway pay in full. They would not honor their quote and would not give an explanation . They did acknowledge that a lower quote was given! These people at the AAA on Levon DR in Garland Tx are deceptive, dishonest and are reprabates. Do not trust these people! Mary

Negative experience: They're a horrible insurance company. We signed up by phone with them and I don't know how they excluded rental car on our policy. Also, their roadside assistance is a joke. You wait 6 hours or till the next day for help. If you end up getting help elsewhere then the driver calls you up and fuss you out for not being there 6 hours or a day later.

Negative experience: She guessed my question and when I asked whom can I speak with that would know She just gave a 800 number When I started with AAA my rep just guest my yearly mileage because he didn’t want to wait until I got home. Turns out it made my insurance higher... (when I checked he was way off) I told him it was my first time purchasing insurance. I feel he took advantage of me. Just wanted to make the sale. I will no longer purchase their insurance. As soon as I am done with the year agreement I will seek elsewhere.

Negative experience: I called in for a battery charge but mid call, a friend came with cables. I told the agent that, and she understood. She said if it still didn't start or I needed more help to call back. She was lovely but this should not have been registered as a call. I'll file a complaint & have the call reviewed.

Negative experience: Avoid this location for insurance needs. To begin with, the agent gave me a business card that had a non-working email and an incorrect phone number. Having had excellent service with AAA in three previous states, I wanted to stay with the same company. What a mistake. I told the agent repeatedly I needed a copy of the declarations policy ASAP for my landlord; it never arrived as promised (how could it with a non-working email?). I had to look up the Agency phone number after getting an obvious incorrect voicemail on first attempt. I called twice, received numerous promises but no declarations paperwork. I had to purchase an internet policy to placate my landlord who was going to force a policy on me that cost triple. I would give this location no starts if I could. Unfortunately, I am stuck with them for another 11 months. They may have a convenient location, but that is about it for insurance.

Fantastic experience: This office has a convenient location. Staff is very helpful and polite. They will explain in detail how things are supposed to work, and if something goes wrong they will go an extra mile to fix it. Calling them may be an option but visiting the office is always a pleasure. They have good maps and travel guides. They make passport photos and can notirize documents.

Negative experience: Yeah I went to a AAA location at Firewheel will over in Garland about a month ago to pay my bill that was coming up they actually told me that I was too early that they could not take my money I had cash that was really messed up very dissatisfied with him and I've been with him now 10 years

Negative experience: If I could put half a star I would. Used AAA Travel for 1st time through AAA Garland. Worse travel experience I have ever had. If you have issues on a trip, AAA travel does not care about your inconvenience or emotional distress. They will search and find any reason to not refund any of your money. In a nutshell, bought package to Punta Cana, DR. For reasons beyond my control, late flight (Sun Country), BD Travel the airport transfer company was late getting me to Riu Republica Resort, had issues with getting a room and was sent to another resort in middle of night. Terrifying experience but was glad I had some place to stay. Was sent back to Riu Republica next day where friend joined me (which AAA Travel agent advised on how friend could join me in my room with her paying at resort), still waited for a room, so lost time on vacation and tone of vacation was ruined. While there and upon returning, reached out to AAA Travel and from that point communication was difficult and sporadic until my request for a partial refund was denied based on my friend joining me. The AAA travel agent was fully aware of my friend joining me and gave number to resort to work it out. This issue to this day has not been fully resolved. Do not deal with Kristin Newcomb-Travel Agent, Christie Larkin-Manager, Debbie Yater-Regional Manager. You will get nowhere. Also, beware of Pleasant Holidays Vacation Packages, Riu Republica in Punta Cana (not a nice resort), or BD Travel for transport from airport.

Negative experience: So I called this location yesterday. I just bought a new used car and the dealer told me i only needed liability for my car cuz i have cpi. i just wanted a simple quote. the asian lady just says "oh no i cant do that its only two of us here' very rude to me. i dont care if its only two of you there. that was VERY BAD CUSTOMER service! dont recommend going or calling here!!!!

Negative experience: Had an accident took an hour for someone to answer the phone. Also last straw my husband called for a tow when his truck wouldn't start ended up waiting for 5 hours! Wrote the company and received no response. We will not renew or recommend.

Negative experience: The staff will go out of their way to help, they will even forge official insurance documents saving you time rather than doing it properly. A+ guys .. be sure to ask for Joe.
