Fantastic experience: I had a wonderful experience traveling to Everest Base Camp with Remote Lands. It was an honor to hike alongside Jamling Tenzing Norgay. I enjoyed hearing his stories- both about his own experiences and those of his father. I especially want to thank the Sherpas. The were fit and attentive. The trek was demanding, but the breathtaking scenery, the exceptional support from the Sherpas, and Jamling's storytelling, along with the perfectly timed weather for ascents and descends made it all worthwhile.

He ensured our car and hotel were smoke-free and made every effort to keep us comfortable. Lily (Zhangjiajie): Sweet, nurturing, and full of heart. She always had snacks on hand and led us through stunning sights come rain or shine. William (Zhangjiajie): Hilarious and full of stories—and a bonus, he spoke fluent Japanese! Mr. Rock (Lijiang): Energetic, fun, and unforgettable. Our hike at Yulong Shan (Jade Dragon Mountain) started in the sunshine and ended in a downpour—cold, soaked, and smiling all the way. A memory we’ll treasure forever. Thank you, Remote Lands, for creating such a magnificent trip and for your incredible flexibility and attention when we needed changes. We will absolutely be looking to you again for our next adventure.

Fantastic experience: We just returned from a private trip arranged by Remote Lands to India and the Maldives. No detail was overlooked and we had the most phenomenal experience. We stayed in palaces, attended a maharajah’s birthday party, enjoyed private musical performances, so many delicious and memorable meals, saw the Taj Mahal, lit candles in Varanasi, and even made it to the Kumbh Mela—a once in 144 years gathering of 400 million Hindus! Fantastic experience: We have traveled twice on Remote Lands arranged tours. Once on one of their Aman Private Jet Tours and once, most recently, on a bespoke tour of Japan. The Aman Jet Tour was spectacular but this review is about our bespoke tour of Japan. They worked closely with us to put together a fantastic itinerary in Japan that went from Tokyo to Yakushima. They arranged the best hotels, absolutely fantastic guides and great drivers. Our experiences were very well done and private just for us (e.g. a Private Tea Ceremony, a fun Sumo Lesson with retired Wrestlers and a unique Geisha dinner). I wouldn't look anywhere else for Deluxe travel and experiences to Japan and Asia!

Fantastic experience: They organized a perfect trip to Kanazawa. The guide was very knowledgeable and flexible to tailor the trip around our interests. We particularly liked visiting the artisan's studio, the craft museums , historic gardens and contemporary art spaces. Given our dietary constraints she found great places to eat in unexpected places. Also, the two hotels we stayed in were opposite and perfect experiences - a luxury ryokan and a new hotel with an extraordinary art collection.

Fantastic experience: As seasoned world travelers, my wife and I recently experienced the very best in ultra luxurious touring. Each part of our 6 country, 25 day expedition was perfect. The very best hotels, the very best guides and specially crafted experiences that will remain fixed in our memories. On on top of it all, was the private jet, configured for opulence, making the international flights seem to "fly" by. Whether it was feasting on the finest food or newly formed friendships teaching us how to juggle oranges, these flights were simply beyond. Remote Lands spared no expense in creating "one of a kind experiences" from a dinner and show on the grounds of an ancient temple in Cambodia to a farewell dinner on a 100 foot yacht in the waters of Thailand. Each facet of the trip had hands on management from the greeters assigned to us in each airport to real time access to tour management. Each hotel manager knew us by name and my wife's allergy was made know to each establishment that served us food.

Fantastic experience: Remote Lands exceeded my expectations! I traveled with them to Southeast Asia on an Aman tour and was blown away with the trip. Every detail was thought of; the resorts were wonderful, the tour guides were excellent, and the special experiences (fashion show, private temple dinner, baci welcoming ceremony) were out of this world. I have severe food allergies and was very nervous about traveling to this part of the world, but Remote Lands and Aman made sure everyone was aware and special meals were provided.
