I have 2 missed and 1 canceled flight in just 1 trip. Very upset. Flight delays, cancellations is beyond our control. You have to deal with gate agents at airport.
We can assist you before you check-in, but once you have checked-in for flights, travel agencies do not have any control.
Negative experience: Booked two tickets to Croatia. First flight was delayed so we couldn’t make connection. Destina failed utterly to help us rebook at all, and airline couldn’t until Destina called them, which Destina did not do. FIFTEEN phone calls to Destina went to voice mail!!! Negative experience: These are terrible people - a week before my trip my daughter ended up in the ICU and almost died. I gave them tons of signed paperwork document about it and they just kept asking for more. They tried to wear me out- innthe end taking over $7000!!!! STAY AWAY

However, when a trip is purchased, they are either non refundable OR refundable with a fee. Submitting signed paper work does not allow a full refund.

Negative experience: I called as soon as someone frauded me buying something from this company. Was told they would look into this and call me back. They never did. I have called several times with no response, most times phone hangs up, last time rang and went to music for 2 hours. They knew immediately who frauded my card and will not help me. Negative experience: DO NOT BOOK WITH THIS COMPANY! I booked flights through them and they emailed me saying that because of the dollar amount, they wanted me to Zelle them the funds Then they started calling me nonstop making claims that I entered my last name wrong - absolutely not. I check all my details carefully! I tell them to forget it then, I will book elsewhere. Then they started calling me to tell me they fixed the problem and will email me the tickets within 10 minutes. 30 minutes later I get a call from them saying the flight is booked up and my order was canceled.

They never get back to you in 24 hrs and also don't send any information that your booking was never confirmed or cancelled. You will have to call them and then they scam you into buying a expensive ticket saying the fares have increased. Absolute SCAM! Never trust this! Privacy nightmare Total Incompetence: They Don’t Care About Your Privacy! Don't share your personal details it will be all over the internet next day if you give them bad reviews. Be cautious with this company—they have zero regard for customer privacy. They posted my credit card details, including name and address, on a public platform. When I complained about this breach, a representative named Betty rudely stated that she doesn't care about customer privacy. Their website claims that your information will only be used to verify details, but this is clearly false. Think twice before entering your credit card information PS: IF we ask why didn't you contact me about any change in flight or cancellation they will say we did and if we ask for proof they don't have. Negative experience: If giving 0 stars was an option..I’d have done that. I’d stay as far away from this company as possible. It’s worth spending a few extra bucks to have decent service. I made a typo in my name, caught it, and Destina refused to correct it, stating it was too late to do so. I was told to have the ticketing agent correct the mistake at the airport. When booking 3rd party, that company, not the airline is who has access to make the correction. I have worked with other travel companies who were far more courteous and willing to assist their customers. I was told to cancel my ticket(while I was at the airport already), and rebook my flight for another day.

Negative experience: I booked an international ticket to Australia and entered my son's last name in error as he has a different last name with me and according to both agents and manager, they cannot change the last name because as per their policy name change is not permitted. During the booking they did not verify my documents to confirm the information either as this error would have been caught. Needless to say, we had to cancel the flight and missed our reunion because they would not let my son board. Now those two tickets can only be used for Australia, and they will still not change my son's last name. I thought the whole idea of customer service is to keep them happy so they can gain future business.

Negative experience: Destina Holidays is a complete scam! I strongly advise avoiding them at all costs. My recent experience with them was absolutely dreadful. They not only failed to acknowledge an error that may have been their fault initially but also refused to provide any satisfactory resolution. When we contacted them to address the issue and salvage our travel plans, their response was dismissive and unhelpful: "There is nothing we can do." As a result, we were left with non-refundable tickets and a ruined vacation. Instead of taking responsibility, they redirected us to the airlines, even though the core issue clearly stemmed from their mishandling of our booking. Save your money and steer clear of this so company. Destina Holidays has the worst customer service I've ever encountered. This company deserves a zero rating if such a thing existed.

Negative experience: I would give o stars if I could. Previous year, we received a $ 1980.44 CAD credit for a flight to Hawaii. In order to receive this credit, they charged us 370 CAD, which we paid. when the time came to use our credit, they told us we have to go to the same place, which was never mentioned in the initial email. ( although they had wild fires). we agreed to that as well. Then they required us to pay extra ( close to 800 CAD) in order to use the credit. I tried very hard to obtain a reasonable price ( I don't understand why I had to pay 370 + 800 in order to use the credit). it was like talking to a wall...explanations that didn't make sense. so, in the end I paid Destina Holidays 2350 CAD for a service they didn't provide. Good job, Destina!

Negative experience: Terrible experience with this company. NOT WORTH THE RISK. We saw super cheap tickets online through Destina and pounced on them. We purchased 10 months early through Destina and planned the rest of the trip. Fast forward 6 months, and the airline changed the connecting flight time, so it was landing after our next flight already took off. No one from Destina reached out to inform us, we just so happened to check our tickets. We were on the phone with Destina and the airline for over 6 hours trying to get a new flight and they all kept passing the buck to the next person, and no one offered a solution besides getting a refund. Needless to say the price difference between 10 months early to 4 months early is steep and we ended up loosing thousands of dollars but trusting Destina Holidays. That is a mistake I will never make again and hope no one else will either. Be careful when dealing with the rep Anwar and hold them accountable for things said over the phone.

Positive experience: Everything went well for me. Bought tickets from Montreal to Bangkok for me and my family. There’s was some changes with Air Canada airlines and they were prompted to make the necessary changes. The only thing i disliked is that once i purchased the ticket they asked me to send a picture of my credit card. They should find another way to confirm payment, it could easily pass has a scam. Anyway i went to Thailand and came back to Montreal with absolutely no issues.

Negative experience: Destina holiday is the worst 3rd party ticket issuance in the world. They are not a search engine, they pass through another search engine Skyscanner. They have no clue how to call an airline, it takes them several days and weeks to get in touch with them while I got through immediately. Their delay made me lose the good flights as the original first leg changed time and day 2 times in 2 months. They finally reimbursed use - their penalty of $600.00. This is a scam company, do not use them. You are better to go directly with the airline or Expedia who has good record and good customer service. It may be more expensive but worth every penny. You won’t have stress about your booking. They won’t lie to you continuously and delay responding to you? You can’t even call Destina holidays , as they are located only in India yet have a false Manitoba phone number that does not answer. All communication is through their site. Buyer beware of this scamming company. If you do not want to lose money, time and good tickets, please book with The airline or Expedia/ Travelocity or others. I could not give zero * which is what they deserve.

Negative experience: Book with anyone else. Like others in the comment section, I tried to redeem my flight credit and realized I had been misinformed by destina holiday about the credit. As a travel company… do better. They told me when cancelling I had 12 month to use my credit from my booking date when in reality I had 12 month to commence travel from booking date. Before cancelling I even asked for clarification on what ‘using the credit’ was to be sure before cancelling. As you can see from the response they made ‘redeem’ is even incorrect as redeeming and travel by are very different things. They need to share actual policy of airlines and understand word choice and language matter. Their lack of knowledge about airline policy and their VERY POOR customer service skills has failed multiple customers like me. I had weeks of email communication where I was just told repeatedly the same thing by different people to waste my time I had remaining. I could never speak to someone on the phone. The problems with the company are endless. Please… Go ANYWHERE else.

Fantastic experience: I don't understand why people would claim it's a scam, unless they don't understand how a travel agency works or how payments work. Booked a multi city trip from San Francisco to Romania and back with no problems. Sure American banks unfortunately decline payments for stupid reasons. And they did it to me too. But within 5 minutes I cleared everything with the bank and Destina sent my tickets. Got my confirmation from United airlines and Lufthansa. Prior to booking I called them to ask wether it's self transfer or not. Just as fast they confirmed that the airlines will take care of my checked in luggage. So, thank you!

Negative experience: Bunch of scammers. Don’t do business with these people. They defrauded me of $900 claiming my flight credit could not be redeemed. I always fly and what these bunch of thieves claimed was the reason my flight couldn’t be redeemed made no sense so I called United directly and the representative I got clearly told me that everything they are saying makes no sense and it’s a lie. I was in the airport to discover that the ticket was canceled and was obliged to pay the double to purchase another one. Negative experience: This company is beyond awful. I am still dealing with them for a flight on our itinerary that was cancelled back in July ‘22. Now, they are saying we can’t get a refund since we didn’t show up for a flight that was cancelled. Negative experience: bueno espero que lo que estoy leyendo por aquí no sea real que sea esto una ESTAFA por ahora lo que veo que es pésima la gestión del servicio al cliente por que ya nos an cancelado como 4 veces los vuelos en el último nos han echo pagar más y nos aseguraron que ya no sé cancelaria y recibimos de nuevo el correo de cancelación de vuelo estamos intentando ponernos en contacto con ellos y ya nos cuelgan directamente solo pido que esto no sea una ESTAFA por que este viaje es para ver a mi padre que esta muy enfermo y no se si lo volveré a ver más y lo dicho espero que este no sea una ESTAFA POR QUE LO DEMANDARE CON TODA LA FIERZA DE LA LEY Well I hope that what I am reading here is not real that this is a SCAM for now what I see is that the management of customer service is terrible because they have already canceled us like 4 times the flights in the last one they have made us pay more and they assured us that I no longer know how to cancel and we received the flight cancellation email again. We are trying to contact them and they are hanging up directly. I only ask that this is not a SCAM because this trip is to see my father who is very sick and I don't know if I will see him again and what has been said I hope this is not a SCAM BECAUSE I WILL DEMAND HIM WITH ALL THE STRENGTH OF THE LAW
Negative experience: WAY LESS THAN ONE STAR! This travel agency is a SCAM!!!! I tried to redeem over $300 flight credit from a flight I booked with them. Their response was is the airline who has control over my tickets, and there’s nothing they can do. I contacted the airline directly and of course they do not have control over the tickets since I did not book through them. Tried to contact several times the manager of this travel agency, and they keep on lying over and over again saying the manager is on a different call. PLEASE DO NOT BOOK THROUGH THEM!!! It’s a real scam! I looked online and apparently they have several complains opened regarding flight credit, cancellations and refund issues. They just take your money and disappear.

I just called you and confirmed that the fare is valid and we will honor, but if you are using your wife credit card with a different last name, how do we protect ourselves from SCAMMERS ?
Obviously we have to do our due diligence to protect customers from buying tickets from stolen credit cards.

Negative experience: Delayed Payments Processing and Fluctuating Prices TRIP ID: 4FIM8J **Reply to DestinaHolidays below** Thank you for the kind offer! Unfortunately at this point I'm no longer interested in this trip. I got an email from one of their agents, Nisha Patel, 3 days after my initial booking and said they were unable to process my payment. Because of this delay, my flight has now been increased from $1361 to $1537. When I call them 5 mins after I got this email, they straight up told me "the prices keep changing", and it's now over $1700. Now a week later when I search for their prices again on skyscanner, the same flight is now around $1200. I recommend everyone to other third party agencies who can process your payment on the same day. If DestinaHoliday is the only option to where you're going, go somewhere else!

Negative experience: I bought a ticket after a few days they send me an email saying the airline canceled your return flight, and when I asked to change it, I been asked to pay additional 487$ which is not fear because it was not my fault. anyways this is the last time using this travel agency.

Negative experience: I have been waiting for a refund since July 31st that was promised within 25 business days in writing. It's now been almost 70 business days and every call is the same - someone will call me back. They never do. $4500 out of pocket right now.

I have reviewed your case and we received numerous calls from the traveler and we helped him with the rebooking while he was denied boarding at JFK airport.
But it seems like not only the traveler himself, but several of his friends were calling as continuously and
were extremely rude with our customer services. When calling, please control your frustrations and do not be rude on our agents.
The traveler Mr.Ali Kashif holding a Pakistani passport was not allowed to board as he does not have a valid transit visa for Italy.
Please note - When customers make a flight booking, it is their responsibility to check the transit visa requirements. Below is the message that the traveler had acknowledged at time of booking.
Please check visa requirements with relevant Embassy / High Commission. Its your responsibility to check for Visa regulations.
Negative experience: They are SCAM. I am yet to see my partial refund for the flight that was canceled back in Feb. Avoid at all cost. In response to the owner's reply: my first flight was, but my second flight I was entitled to the partial refund and was promised as such. You guys are an absolute scam - there are so many bad reviews out there for you guys that you can't even off-set with your fake positive reviews.
Sorry the flight was never canceled. You were a no show . Hence no refund is allowed by airline

I have investigated your review and the three tickets that you booked with us, only 1 transaction card was approved with your debit card, the other 2 tickets from your debit card was declined due to insufficient funds.
The Canadian banks, limits daily withdrawals on debit cards.
You should have verified with your bank first on daily limits for your debit card.
Here is the proof from our reservation system that the remaining 2 tickets were not issued due to insufficient funds.
