Fantastic experience: My husband and I decided in January 2023 to go to London, Paris and the Netherlands in June 2023. We both work full time and knew it would be difficult to plan a trip like this size and expense on our own. We enlisted the help of Ligia and she was fantastic. Fantastic experience: I was tired of searching and searching for the best deals on flights. I eventually gave up on my searching when I wanted an "open jawed" flight (fly home from a different destination than where you originally landed) in several different classes. I couldn't figure out how to do this myself and I was also getting wildly different pricing. I realized a travel professional was my next step. Since I try to support local business I searched my area for agents. I settled on 3 local firms. I left a message at all three about my desires and problems. We have always felt in good hands with them, best deals, smart and fast service, but recently Ligia literally saved us from a Delta screw-up that left us stranded for hours in Barcelona airport, missing our connection flight in Amsterdam. Ligia is a wonderful person, very thorough, and really helpful when problems come up. For example, the 2010 volcanic ash that stopped all air traffic in Europe found us on vacation in Europe. Our flight was cancelled, but Ligia contacted us, kept us updated of everything that was going on, and she was able to arrange us tickets back to US right when the flights resumed. I don't know how she did that, it took other people many days to find tickets... Overall, it is very comforting to know there is somebody who really cares about you and your family getting where you want to go and back, not just selling you the tickets. Ligia is that person!

While Ligia was in vacation, she made time to help with best option that worked for me with least amount of time for layover. Fantastic experience: Ligia is simply fantastic at her job. I do not write many reviews, but this I had to do. For several years she helps our family of four finding good airfares to Europe. In particular, she finds matching flights because each of us starts the summer trip on different weeks, but usually we return all together. She is great at finding all these complicated itineraries at a better price than what we can find online. She is reliable and answers e-mail and phone quickly. If complications arise with your trip, she is helping you, even fighting for you with the airline. Last summer, when due to COVID restrictions we could not complete our trips to Europe, she worked hard on figuring out how to get a refund from Air Canada. She put many hours in talking with them on the phone on our behalf and sifted through a ton of documentation to figure out regulations that were changing overnight. Then she put more hours in, explaining us what we can do to receive a refund. She was inventive and even helped us crafting the request. She also filed a refund requests with them, and we did get our refund of over $4,000. Before finding Ligia, I worked with another agency, but that other agent was not even nearly as helpful as Ligia. When I missed a flight, the airline did not help me with rebooking saying that I must resolve it via my travel agent, and when I called that travel agent, she was not helpful at all and barely answered my calls. One quality that sets Ligia apart from other agents is that she cares for her customers and helps them all the way through.
