Fantastic experience: We can’t thank June enough for everything she did to make our honeymoon absolutely unforgettable. When our original plans didn’t work out, she saved the day and planned the most incredible vacation we could have ever dreamed of. June doesn’t just treat you like clients—she makes you feel like family. She thought of every detail, making sure everyone knew it was our honeymoon. Because of her, we were constantly surprised with special touches like free champagne, a “Just Married” sign on the back of our Fiat, and so much more. She even checked in on us during the trip to make sure everything was going smoothly. She made planning so easy and stress-free, answering every question with patience and care. Thanks to June, we got to truly relax and enjoy every moment. She is truly a gem, and we will absolutely be using her for all of our future vacations!

Now my older son and his bride went on a 14 day trip through Italy & Greece. June took the challenge of coming to their aide when the ball was dropped and she booked daily activities & tours. She was thorough, helpful, patient and again fantastic!! They did everything you would hope to do while there and made memories of a lifetime. Fantastic experience: The 2-BR villa was perfect for two ladies who became friends but barely knew each other. Michelle Taylor knew the resort well and provided suggestions and links to help us get familiar too. The Trip App was extremely helpful and we felt secure knowing our daily schedule was tracked.

Positive experience: We recently booked our honeymoon to Sandals Montego Bay through Vacations in Paradise, and while the trip had its highlights, there were definitely areas where the overall experience didn’t meet our expectations. That said, we want to start by giving a big thank you to Michelle Taylor, who was truly wonderful to work with. Michelle was responsive, kind, and incredibly professional throughout the planning process. She made everything smooth on the front end—providing options, keeping us updated, and helping us secure our travel package without stress. Her customer service was top-notch, and we really appreciated her thoughtful communication. That said, once we arrived at Sandals Montego Bay, things felt different than what we were led to expect. One of our non-negotiables when traveling is avoiding layovers, and unfortunately, we ended up with one both ways. Jamaica is about a two-hour flight from Tampa, yet we were routed through Miami. On the way there, we were too excited to notice, but the return trip was rough—we left Montego Bay at 4:00 PM and didn’t get home until 1:00 AM. Nine hours of travel for a destination that should take less than three left us completely drained. And a week later, we were still recovering—not from the trip itself, but from the travel. While this was outside Michelle’s control, it’s something we’ll be very intentional about moving forward. Direct flights only from now on, even if we have to pay more. Lesson learned. As for the resort itself—there were some major highlights, but also significant disappointments: The staff were incredible—genuine, kind, and went above and beyond once we shared our concerns. Christopher, the Director of Guest Services, personally helped us get into a better room, comped a couples massage, and ensured we had a late checkout at no extra charge. The food was largely excellent—especially the curry goat and Jamaican patties—but many items on the menus weren’t actually available. In fact, we’d estimate about 70% of the dishes and wines we wanted to try were out of stock, including a favorite wine of ours, The Prisoner, which was listed on multiple menus. The first room had a bizarre TV setup—two screens that couldn’t function independently. If you turned one on, both came on. We were moved to a different room (which we believe was what we originally booked), but even then, the ceiling fan didn’t work, and since we sleep with a fan every night, that was a big miss. We rented overwater cabanas for four days, but instead of it feeling luxurious, we received daily early-morning phone calls reminding us to show up—as if we were on a cruise ship excursion. It didn’t feel like we were on our time. The butler phone, which is meant to enhance convenience, felt more like a burden. It was clunky, unreliable, and came with a $100 fee if lost or damaged, so we barely used it. Lastly, and most importantly—the cost. We paid nearly $14,000 for a 7-day stay, supposedly at a 40% Black Friday discount, which puts the full value at over $23,000. For that amount, we expected a flawless luxury experience. Unfortunately, we didn’t get that. While the resort is beautiful and the staff tried hard, it just didn’t feel worth what we paid. The biggest takeaway for us is that we didn’t feel like we were able to do our own thing. Between scheduled reservations, missed food expectations, and rigid daily routines, we spent more time adjusting than relaxing—which was the opposite of what we had hoped for on our honeymoon. To be clear, Michelle was amazing. None of these resort issues reflect on her service. She did everything right

It was such a smooth arrival process from the moment we got on the plane we knew what to expect and what information to have available, printed, signed etc. We were able to just enjoy the stay there since Michelle had everything set up for us to return home. The hardest part was leaving such a beautiful place. She made sure we had a stress free vacation!!!

Fantastic experience: I called just to ask if covid was allowing travelers to France for my 1 year wedding anniversary and Vivian immediately started helping, we looked up several destinations until we finally landed on Mexico. She checked on everything for me and was insanely helpful and did not pressure me at all! Ill definitely be referring her to my friends

Fantastic experience: We worked with Michelle to set up our vacation. She was great. Always responded in a timely manner, gave us lots of options, and made any changes we asked for. We went to Secrets Maroma Beach Riviera Cancun, and everything was incredible, transportation went exactly as described, and couldn’t have asked for a better trip.

Fantastic experience: My daughter and I recently traveled to Jamaica on vacation. Michelle Bouzek was our travel planner. She was absolutely amazing. She took care of everything for us, including the transfer from/to the airport in Montego Bay to/from Negril, our hotel arrangements, as well as booking some excursions for us. Everything went smoothly. We were welcomed with champagne and fruit, and I received some chocolates for my birthday! It was a wonderful trip and we received awesome service from Michelle! I have used Vacations in Paradise in the past as well, and I always receive excellent service! I would highly recommend them!
