Hi Shukla family member! So you wish to join in on this venture towards litigation for harassment and defamation too? Dear Shukla family, we’re sad to see that customers resort to harassment and retaliation via internet after calling our driver a stupid Arab. Any driver has the right to discontinue service without refund if they are mistreated, offended, assaulted or if customers are rowdy in the vehicles. We advise you to retract these defamatory false statements. You know it was your group who started with the offensive name calling. Additionally, your reservation counted 5 bags on the trip sheet, not six. You had 5 enormous bags and 1 extra and requested a standard van. If you’re upset about paying for service after not being able to respect our staff maybe you should learn how to communicate and solve problems before uttering offensive words. What was horrible is that you can’t take responsibility for ordering the wrong size vehicle and decide to disrespect people for your shortcomings. You can’t cut corners and try to be sneaky with multiple bags and over pack a car and blame us when your plan goes wrong. It’s best to order 2 cars or a Sprinter van.

We’re happy to address this post, and must say, it comes as a SHOCK to us and totally CONTRADICTS what a gentleman in your group said to our manager. A man in your group said the service was GREAT, the driver was GREAT and the taxi you ordered was GREAT. He said “we had no issues with the driver or the car” all we need to do is cancel the second reservation. Sadly, this appears to be a retaliation for the late cancellation policy? When you cancel a reservation late there’s no refund if it was requested under 24 hours before the ride starts. Additionally, you made a taxi reservation not a limousine reservation. The first 3 vehicles are base model vehicles. If you’re just angry and following the frivolous claims of Ms. McMullen from her review it’s quite negligent. All vehicles on the booking form are clearly pictured from base level to luxury and to limousines. It’s quite baffling how people assume an economy level regular sedan would be an expensive luxury car. Here’s the reservation agreement which was included in your original confirmation notice. Terms & Conditions/ Reservation Agreement: All deposits are NON refundable. Any special event limo, executive car or bus or party bus reservation is not refundable after confirmed booking. Airport transport, reserved rides or standard taxi service is subject to our 20% cancellation fee if canceled 24 hours or more before service time, rides canceled less than 24 hours before service are charged the full service rate. Company is not liable in the event of mechanical breakdown while on charter and will only be responsible for making up lost time at a mutually agreed date. ALL RIDES INCLUDED 20% AUTO GRATUITY WHEN BOOKED BY PHONE OR ONLINE. Our policy is available on our public website. The client assumes full financial liability for any damage to the limousine caused by them or any members of their party during the duration of this rental period. A fee of 100.00 is charged for each carpet or seat burn. Sanitation fees for any hazards or excess waste cleaning requirements are 150.00 for standard size vehicles and 250.00 for any stretch-limousine and/or party bus. Alcohol Consumption IN UNAUTHORIZED VEHICLES and drug use is prohibited by law. Any fines, tolls, parking and traffic related fees will be paid for by the customer. The driver has the right to terminate run without refund (if there is blatant indiscretion on the part of the client(s)). It is illegal to stand through the sunroof. Smoking is not permitted in most of our limousines, and this is left to the discretion of the Manager and an additional fee must be paid for such specified vehicle. Overtime pay will apply by the set hourly fee, weekend premium charge or as agreed after the first 05 minutes of prearranged time is extended beyond the original trip duration as described on the run sheet. Travel time to or from a point of interest included in this reservation is billable by the hour if any point of interest or address location is outside of our primary coverage zone; Ann Arbor; garage to garage rates would apply by the hour. Not responsible for delays or the termination in winter caused by unsafe road conditions (i.e., not salted, ice, construction, accidents, etc.). Not responsible for articles left in the limousine or taxi. If any items are found, you have 30 days to claim from our lost and found storage. Account Balances due must be paid to the driver on the ride date before the beginning of transport. Any balance not paid on the date of ride service must approved by the General Manager and payment agreements and an authorization must be obtained for the balance due. Vehicles cannot be loaded beyond seating capacity. Additional fees may apply due to route changes and travel conditions and any service cancellation due to unforeseen events not in our control is subject to our cancellation policy and client must previously obtain their own travel insurance for loss caused by such interruption….

We will address the concerns raised here and use the name associated with your booking and notify the public as to the discrepancies in our records. You have the right to make claims but there’s liability when they are false and misleading and potentially damaging.

“I made an online reservation as I wanted to support a local business instead of Uber and preferred a car service to an individual owner.

Company Answer: We always appreciate local support and we support local 100% however based on your pickup location and from our decades of experience the company you mentioned is highly unreliable in that area.

“I reserved online and selected a car (a black sedan like you would expect from a car and limo service).”
Company Answer: You ordered a base model sedan and not the LUXURY model which is listed. The reservation was upgraded to a van for free. Most people select the first options they see which is the most budget friendly. Our booking form clearly shows LUX sedan as opposed to just sedan. Anyone can check the form now and see this fact. The manager even showed you the difference before you made a damaging post due to your negligence.
“I had to make a change due to a delayed flight. The system allowed this and gave a confirmation of change. I did not know I was to check the email (which I never saw) and then ignore the confirmation via the website as it is not actually confirmed this way.”

Company Answer: The online booking system automatically notifies you on screen after booking that this reservation has to be reviewed and approved and you will receive an email or call. This also means it’s verified by actual human beings that perform the tasks you’ve requested and follow up communication should be anticipated. Full automation is great for a fully robotic system which we are not. Robotic cars are not fully autonomous yet. Just like any service such as a hotel or restaurant or car rental agency companies have human beings that need to verify what’s available or make appropriate adjustments to fulfill or reject your request.

“I was texted at the original pick up time that they were waiting outside. I immediately texted the driver that the reservation was changed and extended my apologies and let him Know I understood if he Could not keep the reservation (I know from years and years of living in chicago traveling weekly that car services have a schedule to keep).”

Company Answer: Yes, correct, drivers have obligations to all reservations. We enjoy honoring all reservations and being on time for you or anyone is extremely important to us. The driver wanted to leave as a cancellation but we explained how you made a last minute change request in the middle of the night (shortly before your appointment) when the day shift drivers are sleeping so night shift could not approve your request. The reservation was made yesterday and is already considered last minute & it was changed again due to tardiness but we will not allow exploitation to driver & their time.

“After…… I texted one last time out of courteousy to ask if he was planning to come back (maybe he went to get a coffee?).”
“Finally a response but a Mini van arrived not a sedan. I was informed there would be an up charge. I called dispatch and main office. No answer. I received a text telling me all the reasons why this reservation was not correct and had to ask 4 times for the fee to understand what I would be charged. Which obviously I will pay. I’m not unreasonable.”
COMPANY ANSWER: The driver would check with reservation management before answering you. They actually did the right thing. We recommend everyone check with booking agents with any concerns. When you booked the reservation a rental agreement was emailed to you with policy details. The online booking system informed you of this upcoming communication. We made all necessary changes to suit needs of clients. Only a waiting fee was added to your bill as agreed.

Mr. Goldman, It’s sad, and practically unethical to even argue and not pay the auto gratuity, tipping is standard in almost any limo business especially on a holiday which both New Years Eve and New Years Day are celebrated as such. Anyone who sees this should be appalled that a person like yourself would complain about an extra holiday fee that was absolutely not more than half of the fare price as you’ve stated falsely here today. You were given an email notification and confirmation at 328pm on 12/31/22 with all the fees for your ride and your ride was not scheduled until 1/1/23 at 1255am. It’s busiest night for cabs and limos worldwide. People wait for hours to get a ride because the demand is always so high however you call and argue about the tip fee but stated previously on a recorded line that you never saw the fee! How does this make any sense? We truly hope the public isn’t fooled by your title. It’s also defamatory to make false public statements about a person or company. Google warns everyone writing a review that public statements have consequences. We hope you reconsider the facts and avoid future embarrassment. Our manager also offered to beat any competitor offer that could be verified however you didn’t produce any contract or email confirmation to allow a match or better rate.

DO YOU UNDERSTAND WE ARE A PRIVATE BLACK CAR SERVICE AND ARE NOT COMPARABLE TO ANY RIDESHARE MODEL??ADDITIONALLY, YOU ARE WRONG AGAIN AS THE INDEPENDENT CONTRACTORS ARE SELF-EMPLOYED AND THEY DO NOT GET FIRED OR LAID OFF. SORRY YOU DO NOT UNDERSTAND HOW THEIR UNEMPLOYMENT BENEFITS WORK AS THIS NEW OPTION WAS JUST RECENTLY APPROVED FOR THEM LAST LAST YEAR IN 2020 DUE TO COVID19. You are also not one of our paying customers and have not used our services.
