Positive experience: Did the open water refresher here before my trip to Mexico. Great experience. Amazing how fast 4 hours goes by. Two instructors kept the class moving along perfectly. Great price also, to get back in the pool.

Negative experience: Very disappointed, feels like a complete money grab and the opposite of treating someone like a customer, being told that teenage son's open water course is null and void since he was unable due to circumstances that arose last year to take the open water certification. Fine print money grab and very unpleasant situation to extract more fees, will not be back to do business with them in the future, will take our money to a customer-centric establishment.

Fantastic experience: My 8 year old had his birthday party here and it was amazing. Anna was so helpful in answering all of my questions leading up to the party and Kim was a wonderful instructor. She was great with the kids and very patient. The kids had a wonderful time

Fantastic experience: My wife and I went for her Intro to Scuba class. Barry and George were phenomenal. They were both patient, experienced, and customized their teaching to each student. The shop's comradery was welcoming and brimming with scuba excitement. Their gear for the teaching was of high quality and very safe. The pool is 12" deep and allowed for ample room to practice. Their gear shop upstairs was updated and reasonably priced. My wife and I will be returning!

Fantastic experience: We had an amazing experience with One World Dive! My 8-year-old son absolutely loves his PADI SEAL course, and his excitement grows with every session. A huge shoutout to his scuba trainer, Carolyn Bryan, who has been fantastic. Carolyn's patience, expertise, and ability to connect with kids are truly outstanding. She makes learning fun, safe, and engaging, and my son looks forward to every class. The facility is well-equipped, the staff is friendly, and the overall atmosphere is welcoming. We couldn't have asked for a better introduction to the world of scuba diving! Highly recommend!

Fantastic experience: I went to One World for all of my new scuba gear. Anna was there and took amazing care of me, helping me select the best gear for me. She is incredibly knowledgeable about diving! Super helpful when you don't know what you need or want! Then we are on our honeymoon trip, and I was having a challenge paring my new computer/watch with my regulator. I called Anna and she walked me through the steps and also gave me a crash course on how to use it! I can't thank her enough! She is so kind, thoughtful and very helpful! Fantastic experience: We booked through One World and I can’t say enough great things about the staff, the trip, the follow up, planning, and the pricing. Jill took care of us from the very beginning planning stages all the way through the days following our return. They set us up with flights and lodging and organized our dives with the outfitter in Cozumel. The outfitter was Deep Exposure out of Cozumel and they were also 5 out of 5 stars. As a new diver, this was very clear and easy and everything went as planned. The total price for airfare lodging (all inclusive ) diving and certification since these were my 4 open water dives was much less than I was expecting to pay for lodging alone. Their pricing is pretty unbelievable and the service is wonderful too. We are excited to plan our next dive trip and it will 100% be with One World. Thank you Jill and One World

Fantastic experience: I just completed a refresher course here, and I HIGHLY recommend signing up for courses through OneWorld. Not only is their staff amazing, they have a training pool on-site for closed water training and refreshers. Louise ran my refresher and did a fabulous job in both the classroom component and the pool skills training. It's evident that the people here are passionate about diving and are eager to share their excitement with others. PLUS I was really happy to learn that the shop replaces dive computer battieries!

Fantastic experience: What an incredible dive shop! Not only is OWD&T filled with very knowledgeable staff and instructors, they also plan the BEST dive trips! I have been on a few "bashes" and they opened up a whole new world to me. I feel so safe and calm when I dive thanks to their training. I have done my Open, Nitrox, Advanced and Rescue certifications with them and have traveled with them multiple times. If you're looking for the best, go to OWD&T. Highly recommend - there is no one better!

Negative experience: If you are a beginner diver BEWARE. Our instructor was not only rushed and flustered but he was actually mean to some of us. For most of the time he would rush us and threaten us saying "if we are too slow some of you will need to take privates". He must have said that 10 times while we were in the water doing stuff for the very first time. On the first day of lessons he was so long winded in the classroom that he ran out of time for the water instruction and pushed a lot of it to the second day which made the second day miserable. He spent so much time showing us all the different computers he has for diving taking them out, etc and so much time talking about all the equipment we should purchse because "rental equipment won't be great". Meanwhile at least half the class was just trying out scuba for the first time and will be renting a lot of equipement so we didn't need detiailed instructions on all the different types of wetsuits and if we did we could just have asked the sales crew upstairs. This is all to say that a ton of time was wasted in the classroom on this stuff and the students suffered the consequnces because that put the instructor behind and he just yelled and rushed us the entire time we were in the water. We went over 30 minutes on the first day and he told us to come early the next day and he would have the backdoor unlocked for us. Brings me to the second day. He did not in fact have the door unlocked and we were all early and he opened the door 3 minutes before 8 so we rushed to lessons for no reason. Then right out of the gate he said we had a lot to cover in the water and we needed to rush. We were all trying to get our gear together, then set up the gear while he yelled at us to put on our wetsuits then yelled at us when we walked away from our gear to do just that. In fact, the instructor said to me on the second day that he could make my life hard for the rest of the day if he wanted to. My 13 year old son couldn't believe that the instructor just threatened me. I just breathed through it as we didn't have time to take another class because we are scheduled for our open water instruction in 2 weeks. However, I regret not walking away right then and there because the rest of the day just got worse from there. Also, we were in the pool from 8:10am until after 3:00pm on the second day with no water or food break. 7 hours and half of us were shivering and hungry and tired. It was HORRIBLE how fast he made us do some of the exersises while threatening us that we might have to stop and seperate and take private lessons later. If you are nervous like I am please do yourself a favor and do not take classes here - or at least not from Rob. While he is extremely knowledgable he is not for beginners or teenagers. He would make fun of us for wanting lunch at 2:00 and said if we got out of the water and took our equipement off we couldn't go back in. Thank goodness Barry, a trainee, was there to help on the second day or I think Rob would have lost it and might have hurt some of us with trying to juggle 6 people. There is so much more I can write but this review is already too long. In short, this is NOT a class for beginners as they advertise. If you can go to another school I would. They were insenstive, rushed, pushy on selling you things and not concerned for your wellbeing. I am so shaken up by this class and the treatment that I received.

Fantastic experience: Can't say enough about CAROLYN! She is absolutely AMAZING. My husband and I booked private classes with her for our Open Water Certificate and she needs 1,000 Stars. She's fun, patient, easy going and so reassuring. She has almost every cert to her name and while she "should" have an ego, she doesn't. Scuba is her passion and you can feel it when you're with her! Being near her you just feel happy and excited learning new skills. If you're new or a pro, book lessons with her (private ones). You'll get all the attention you need and leave feeling super empowered, confident and most likely, with an amazing friend. Thank you One World Dive & Travel for being an awesome, approachable shop filled with awesome staff who love what they do.

Fantastic experience: This is lisa. I booked a last-minute cruise and I’m going to be snorkeling, so I came into the shop and Carolyn Took amazing care of me and spent a long time teaching me about all the equipment and set me up with a great snorkeling package that didn’t break the bank. She is a fantastic person!

Fantastic experience: Great experience here. The staff is helpful and informative. The classes are comfortable and small, so you get personalized help. Dan was my in class instructor, he was really knowledgeable and reassuring. Debbie was my open water instructor. I was exceptionally nervous being in the reservoir due to limited visibility under the water. She was absolutely awesome with me, very calming and incredibly patient. I can’t say thank you to her enough, she got me through it and I got my certification!! Love this dive shop. I’d recommend them to anyone!!

Fantastic experience: I just completed a diving refresher course with Carolyn, and she is such an amazing instructor! I had a complete panic attack during my first try of the mask skills after 12 years, so I could not complete the refresher on my first try. So Carolyn guided me through some skills and mental strategies to practice for a few weeks. Then I went back and did the mask skills confidently tonight and passed my refresher! Carolyn was so incredibly kind, empathetic, and patient with me and found ways to help me overcome my specific fears. She is such a warm presence and made my dive experience amazing. Cannot recommend working with her and OneWorld enough!

Fantastic experience: My 9 year old daughter did the Seal Team program at One World and loved it. I sat in on part of the program and was impressed. Carolyn, their instructor was absolutely fantastic as an instructor and at managing and teaching the children. Recommend them for their PADI certification and Seal Team (for kids under 10) programs!

Fantastic experience: I took the scuba diver's refresher course recently at One World Dive & Travel with Carolyn Bryan. She was absolutely amazing. She was so incredibly instructive, fun and engaging, offering really valuable tibits about diving and providing such terrific support. I've done 51 dives to date throughout Mexico, the Caribbean and Hawaii, and I learned some very valuable techniques during this refresher course. I simply cannot say enough about how wonderful Carolyn was as our instructor.

Negative experience: Not thrilled with my experience here. They have some great staff, and my equipment has always been fully functional after taking it here. BUT not happy about them acting as though it was some impossible chore to warranty replace my Scubapro fins that cracked in the hinge. Story I was given was it couldn't happen without a receipt. My brother had same fins and got replacement in FL without receipt. So I took them to Denver Divers and got instant warranty replacement...WITH NO RECEIPT. Difference was a desire to help me and willingness to cintact the Scubapro rep. Also, Brian refused to service a piece of my equipment stating only that it was damaged but not explaining what or how. Took that into Denver Divers and they inspected, serviced and returned to me fully functional. Been going here for years, but I've found a new dive shop where I feel instantly appreciated.

Fantastic experience: Love this place and the people that run it. I'm taking a trip to Raja Ampat coming up here in the next couple weeks. We had a last-minute change in our party to swap in one person for another. Jill Miller worked so hard to make it happen with such a short time frame, and she elegantly pulled it off and with a smile. These guys really know their stuff!

Fantastic experience: I took my confined water as part of getting my Open Water Diver Certification with Mark. The first day wasn’t really my day, I almost gave up as I have a claustrophobic and being underwater makes me feel trapped, I was behind from the others. Erin helped me on my 2nd day to catch up on some checklist that I left behind from the day 1. She is really great and amazing, I can see that she is very passionate as a Scuba Diving instructor. Because of her, I overcame my fear and start trusting my air source:) Now I can’t wait for my next dive to get my open water!! I really had a great experience with the instructors as well as the other students.

Fantastic experience: I have had several great experiences at One World Dive and Travel and highly, highly recommend them. The entire team is extremely kind and knowledgeable. I completed my Open Water Diver training with Ron and had an exceptional experience (Ron is an awesome teacher with a wealth of knowledge from his many years of experience -- I couldn't recommend him more!). Additionally, when purchasing gear, the store staff was exceptional at helping me find the best equipment for me (they were also super respectful and not at all pushy). Fantastic experience: Did a group class last night with Carolyn instructing. Great experience. She really is great at what she does - her love for the sport shows through her work. The shop is really convenient, well stocked, has plenty of classroom space and a saltwater training pool. Couldn’t ask for more. Great group of people. I will be goin back soon.

Fantastic experience: We were completely impressed and absolutely satisfied with the fabulous itinerary that One World put together for our recent Costa Rica Trip. We requested a blend of underwater and above water fun/adventure and they put together a perfect trip down to every detail! All our transportation for each day was pre-scheduled and went without a hitch. Our hotels, starting with Hotel del Mar on Hermosa Beach for 3 nights and ending with Arenal Kioro Hotel at the base of Arenal Volcano, were absolutely luxurious! We dove one day with Rocket Frogs out of Coco Beach and could not have asked for better service. They provided transportation to and from our hotel, guided us through a couple great dives, then rinsed and dried our gear and dropped it off at our hotel the next day. Our rain forest adventure could have just ended at our beautiful hotel, but the waterfall repelling with Pure Trek Canyoning, the hike along the beautiful river Celeste, and the challenging Sky Limit Tour made it even better! The professionalism, safety and pure adrenaline provided by both Pure Trek and Sky Adventure created one of the best outdoor adventures we have ever experienced. Thank you soooooo much Michelle and Jill...!!! We cannot wait for our next One World adventure!

Fantastic experience: My wife and I both took our scuba certification classes here, and my kids just had a scuba birthday party. We've had nothing but great experiences here. The classes was comprehensive and well taught. The scuba party was a great time. Our kids asked for a party this year, and we were concerned covid ruined that. But the scuba party here is a great time with just a small amount of kids. Our instructor, Michelle, quickly got all five kids comfortable with the scuba gear and diving in short order. Even the kids who were fearful about coming now are interested in more scuba classes they can take. I highly recommend the scuba parties here for any other parents looking for a fun small event.

Fantastic experience: This place is much more than a sporting goods store. I will start with a SCUBA gear shop, not only a retail store but aslo a training facility. I found them through the Professional Association of Diving Instructors. I already had some expirence, and wanted the Certification. They have been great to work with, and as someone new in this sport I will say made me feel like I was part of a team. I not only recommend them I trust them.

Fantastic experience: LOVE, LOVE, LOVE everyone at the shop! We did our open water certifications here with Ron who was a blast to work with and so knowledgeable!! We had Jill and Michelle Manage all of our travel for our destination wedding in Mexico with 35 people. We have been working with them for over a year now to get everything planned and booked and every single detail they worked on and helped us with was perfect. They are so kind and patient (there were plenty of slackers that needed extra help from Jill and Michelle) Our flight on the way to our wedding was cancelled due to weather and They helped us get everything figured out even then! We cannot say enough about One World!!!

Fantastic experience: I went here for my open water scuba certification and had a great experience. The staff were knowledgeable and friendly and made me feel at ease.

Negative experience: If I could give a negative star rating, I would. I was given a gift certificate for this scuba shop so now that I needed to get my equipment serviced, I figured I would use the certificate. I called the shop to find out how much a service would cost for my regulator and was told it was about $69 plus parts, if needed. I decided to bring in my BCD and my regulator for service. When I dropped them off, I signed a form stating that they had my equipment. There was an area on the form that talked about the service charge and some minimal charges that may be necessary for parts ($15 and $7). Before is signed, I asked the sales clerk if someone would call me if there was extensive work/service or parts required and was told "yes". About 5 days later I got a call from the service tech saying my equipmuent was ready. I asked what was done to it and he simply stated, "I serviced it." Based on that, I didn't expect to have any extensive repairs or charges. I went in to pick up my equipment a few days later and was told my bill was $240.00! I was floored! I asked the clerk what that was for and she had to find someone to go over the "report card" with me. After that person explained what everything was, I asked them why no one called me or asked me if I was okay with the charges. The sales person didn't have a response, just said sorry. She said they guarantee that my equipment is safe and they have now created a baseline for future service. Seriously?! I told her I would pay the bill but I will NEVER come back and that their customer service is horrible.

Fantastic experience: I took my scuba refresher class here and it was great. MP (the instructor) was very knowledgeable and thorough. It has been about 15 years since I have scuba dived and I feel confident to go again after this class. Would highly recommend.

We have purchased all of our different generations of equipment with them, been on many group trips as well as having our personal trips arranged by them. Even living in the Caribbean and now in Pennsylvania, we still count on their guidance/advice for trips and send our gear up for servicing. Fantastic experience: One World Dive and Travel is a shining example of what a full service SCUBA shop can and should be. They offer retail sales, gear servicing, instruction, travel and most importantly, a well informed and knowledgeable staff who provide excellent customer service. This review will include the areas that I have had the benefit of experiencing at One World. Scuba Instruction: I have taken multiple courses at this shop. All have been timely, professional, organized and well taught. Travel: I traveled on a group dive trip to Bonaire. It was "turn key," while still being a great value. I didn't have to worry about anything - everything was taken care of. All I had to do was enjoy the vacation and incredible diving. Retail sales: The shop is well stocked with gear from the top manufacturers. There is a wide selection without being overwhelming. It is apparent that the products that make it onto their shelves have been personally tested and are used and endorsed by the staff. I purchased a full set of gear from the shop (BCD, Regulator, computer, etc.). After I explained my diving and what I would be using it for, the staff led me in selecting all of the right products! I have logged well over 200 dives on this set of gear in the last few months and I can still say that every piece of gear was exactly what I needed! The customer service is amazing and their prices are extremely competitive, particularly when you receive professional fitting and recommendations of what you do or don't need. My husband and I have had the good fortune of being involved in two live aboard dive trips with One World and they have both rendered unforgettable experiences for us. One World went above and beyond to make sure everything was "top notch". Our relationship quickly went from vendor/customer to friends/friends! As a relatively new diver, I was a little anxious about how the more experienced divers and instructors would treat me. It didn't take long to figure out that 15 dives or 500, we were all in it for the same purpose; to experience the best diving possible! One World makes sure that happens and we can't wait for our next adventure with them!

Fantastic experience: We booked a two hour session in the pool at One World Dive. The facility was outstanding - pool perfect for diving, clean as a whistle, nice locker room and a pleasant staff. The retail showroom is well stocked with top brands, has knowledgeable sales staff and a service department. We had a nice chat with the travel specialist. One Word Dive & Travel is at the top of our list for scuba services.

Fantastic experience: We just finished up a scuba birthday party for eight year olds. The experience was awesome, the kids had a great time and if I could give six stars I would. We had master dive instructor MP Phelps. She was awsome with the kids. I wanted to tip her but had no way to do it so I'll call back and tip her tomorrow. Our experience was awesome. Thanks MP!

Fantastic experience: One World Dive & Travel is the best place that you can go for all of your SCUBA needs. They have a great product selection (and service center), friendly and knowledgeable staff, and top-of-the-line instructors. I have completed both my Open Water and Advanced certifications through OWDT and could not be happier with the service provided! If you're looking to get into SCUBA, this is the best place to go, hands down.

Fantastic experience: Great customer service in general. Took my open water diver classes with these folks. My instructor, MP, took take with each of us individually to make sure we understood all concepts thoroughly. I felt welcomed, valued, and most importantly... I had a blast!

Fantastic experience: I was certified through this company 14 years ago, under their previous name of Underwater Phantaseas. This weekend, my 10 and 12 year old boys did their confined water training here and are now ready for their open water dives. I did the class with the boys as a refresher. Our experience was phenomenal. Our instructor was Bill, who has worked there 20 years. He was amazing--just amazing. He was so patient with my boys--through a cut on one of my boys' fingers the first day (totally my fault), and a struggle to understand the dive planning mini-computer on day two, he was just the best. I cannot imagine anybody with children having a better experience at any dive shop than we did this weekend at One World Dive and Travel. My "I'm too cool" 10 year old hugged Bill at the end! Frankly, they could have charged me twice what they did and I would have still considered it a great value. If you need SCUBA training, look no further. Finally, by boys and I loved the shop mascot who was hanging around-- a yellow lab named Fin. Keep up the tremendous work! We appreciate everybody there.

Fantastic experience: My first experience with One World Dive & Travel was 17 years ago when I was just 12 years old. Although a lot has changed since then, one thing has remained the same; their commitment to providing the highest quality goods and services. As a 12 year old, they guided me through my first certification as a Junior Open Water Diver. Diving the Aurora Reservoir can be a scary thing at 12, but their staff is exceptional and tailors training to each individual's needs. In the years since, OWD&T has continued to provide me with the most up to date information on all things diving related - whether it be courses/training, dive vacations, or equipment purchases. My career path recently took an unexpected turn, and I suddenly found myself questioning what I wanted to do with my life. The answer? Dive. Under the guidance of OWD&T I pursued my Advanced Open Water, Rescue, and Divemaster certifications on the island of Roatan (Honduras) between January and April of 2015. I returned to the States and had a major decision to make - do I complete my IDC (Instructor Development Course) here or back on the island? While it may be "cheaper" (nothing diving related is ever cheap!) to do an IDC outside of the U.S., I am extremely glad I chose to do it here through One World. Heather, the shop's Course Director, went above and beyond the call of duty. She worked around my schedule, and put in hours upon hours of time with me, ensuring I had an arsenal of tools to use during my IE (Instructor Exam). I completed the IE this past weekend, and it was immediately apparent just how thoroughly prepared I was compared to many other candidates who had done their training elsewhere. I aced the exams and am officially an Open Water Scuba Instructor! I would not be where I am today without the incredible support of One World Dive & Travel. Their Staff consists of nothing but experts in the field (shout-out to my girls MP, Michelle and Heather!), their facility is hands-down the best I've ever seen, and the experience was one I will never forget. Whether you're interested in obtaining a certification of any level, trying to plan a dive-trip, need to pick up some new gear or just want to chat with the Industry's finest, One World Dive and Travel is the only shop in Colorado to use.

Fantastic experience: We have been diving with One World Dive & Travel (formerly Underwater Phantaseas, South) for more than ten years as a family and as a couple. My husband and I, along with our three children, were certified through this business and often return for refresher courses or a practice session in the pool located right in the building before embarking on our dive adventures. The professionalism, personal service, and guidance provided by the owners and their staff is more than impressive. Safety is definitely first with this company team. Not once have we encountered a situation where we felt discomfort or questioned the judgment of instructors, sales staff, or recommended dive masters in the Caribbean and Pacific regions. The equipment recommendations are top and come along with personalized instruction beyond expectation. Thank goodness! Every time we are ready for a trip, the owner patiently reviews our dive computer capabilities with us and personally ensures our equipment is ready for the rigors of a liveaboard week. Obviously, the couple who owns One World Dive & Travel are high energy pros who truly dedicate their lives to scuba diving and the world in which that happens. It is most unusual to have regular access to the owners of a growing business and know their staff is just as reliable when it comes to all entailed with diving and travel. Fantastic experience: My wife and I have been customers of One World Dive & Travel since 2001 and would recommend them to anyone wanting to learn to dive, purchase dive gear, or book travel. The owners and staff really know their industry from the bottom up and top down. From basic gear to the most advanced diver needs. The attention to detail in the travel department is truly unsurpassed. These guys are GRRRREAAAT!

Fantastic experience: Great dive shop. Very knowledgeable and a staff that takes the time to "educate" instead of just "sell". If you are new to the sport of diving, this is the only place to go. Over the last 6 years they have taken me from being a newbie learning how to snorkel, to diving with tiger sharks in the Coco's Islands.

Fantastic experience: I walked in to Underwater Phantaseas a few months ago to check it out. I was greeted at the counter with a smile and a very helpful person (I don't remember their name) I asked a lot of questions and was given very detailed answers. I left feeling very good about this dive shop. I had been emailing the owner about their classes and was always responded to right away. A few weeks ago I came in to the shop again and again was greeted with a smile and very friendly staff. I signed up for the SCUBA classes. I was given everything I needed for the class and the price was better then some other dive shops I had been to. The class room and pool were great. The instructor was very informative and very easy to work with. Last weekend I did my open water dives and everything went perfect. I would recommend this dive shop to anyone I know looking to become certified. They only give you a 0123 rating on here but I give them 5 Stars.
