Fantastic experience: What an incredible experience. My husband wanted to visit Hurricane, UT and do this tour to celebrate his birthday. I was nervous but had to come along for the ride. Everyone was so wonderful, seeing I was nervous, but by the end I was loving it all and will never forget this experience. The guys personalized the trip, helped take amazing photos and really made the difference. I would highly recommend this life changing adventure!

Fantastic experience: I booked the Sunset tour for my partner and I while visiting Utah this past week. As someone that is TERRIFIED of heights, I must say, Darryl did a great job of providing a comforting experience for me with his reassurance and knowledge. The views were amazing, and this is honestly an experience I can see myself participating in again. My partner has also been telling friends/family about it so it’s safe to say, he shares the same sentiments. I would 10/10 recommend Red Rock Hummer Tours for anyone looking for a unique family adventure.

Fantastic experience: Our company scheduled a fairly lay minute tour for 22 people. Red Rock accommodated our group and went out of their way to make things easier for us. Gary, Jonathan, Daryl and Ken could not have been more pleasant. The tour itself was equal parts breathtaking and thrilling. I was not thrilled with climbing rocks and cliffs, however our guides were so capable and professional that I was quickly put at ease. Would highly recommend! It was a wonderful experience for all.

Fantastic experience: We recently went on the Sand Mountain Humvee Tour and we had an ABSOLUTE blast. First off the Humvee was awesome. We felt safe, secure, and comfortable in the seats. and the Humvee looked really cool. I talked with Gary on the phone and he was very pleasant to talk with. It was a last min decision for us and he was able to get us in. When we got there Jon was our tour guide. He was great to talk with and had a ton of knowledge of the area. We loved how he would ask us if we wanted the Hard Line or easy. Of course we chose Hard. :) When we entered the park we couldn't believe how capable the Humvee was and the obstacles Jon was able to drive over. And the views.........WOW!!!! God's creation is amazing to see from all the different areas of the mountain. We're from Illinois and I've seen videos online but it was a totally different experience for this flatlander family. Our family loved it and we will defiantly do some of the other tours when we come back.

Our Humvee tour with Darryl was the ultimate adrenaline rush and easily the highlight of our entire vacation! From start to finish, Darryl was incredibly kind, professional, and reassuring — exactly what we needed for the heart-pounding adventure ahead. The terrain we tackled was insane — we were going over rocks I didn’t even think vehicles could handle. There were moments I was gripping the seat with a death grip, screaming and laughing all at once. It was the most terrifyingly fun thing I’ve ever done — and I’d do it again in a heartbeat! Even my daughter, who’s usually tough to impress, had the BEST time. That alone says it all! We couldn’t stop talking about it afterward — we were all buzzing with excitement. Fantastic experience: Me and the wife booked a tour to Toquerville falls. Our guide (I believe it was Darryl) was very knowledgeable and informative. It had rained the day before so made for minimal dust and clouds gave way as soon as we hit the falls. They had snacks water and chairs for us. Was able to take my shoes off and walk through the flowing water. Wife was looking for rocks and we had a blast as we were the only ones there. It was a great experience and awesome adventure. Great views also going up and down the mountain. Would definitely recommend. Thanks for the experience!

Fantastic experience: If you have the chance to do this...do it. You won't regret it! It was a great ride, even if you don't go off riding ..Darryl was accommodating to our riders. Shared lots of knowledge in the area, showed the best breathtaking scenery ... young or old you need to go.

Fantastic experience: So this is a double review! A bit late but better late than never! My husband and I did a tour with Darryl. We chose the rock crawling/ dune tour. Rock crawling is something that I have wanted to do for 30 years, we are now in our 60’s. We are full time RVing, having recently sold our house and two Toyotas for an RV and a jeep. But we don’t off road so we took this tour. I have to say it was totally exhilarating! Darryl drove us up and over rocks that looked impossible! We watch shows and I have seen a lot of Hummers get stuck doing this so I was ready for us to get stuck or at least tumble a little, but NOPE! It was almost like riding in a cadillac. He crept up and down those huge rocks with no slippage or bouncing in either direction! I was truly amazed. He was also a wealth of information about where we were and was just really fun to be doing this with. I couldn’t have handpicked a better tour or tour guide! And now the second part of this review, he happened to mention that his wife does hair. So being that we do not have a home city any more I have been looking for someone to trim up my hair. I mentioned this to him, and just asked him if he would possibly let his wife know. I expected the whole thing to be dropped but to my surprise I was contacted and put in touch with her. So I reached out to her and she was able to get me in for a cut before we were leaving the area. So this was like an Alanis Morrissette song, we met the man of our dreams in that he made a dream of ours come true, and then I met his beeeauuuutiful wife! Mel, his wife, was just precious! Not only beautiful outside but also inside! And she also did an amazing job on my very difficult hair! So to sum this up, I HIGHLY recommend Darryl as a tour guide, he will tweak the tour to your specifications and do a fabulous job of absolutely making your every wish come true! And I also would completely trust my hair with Mel, and for me that is saying a lot! Actually if we lived there or go back we will look them both up! So 4 up (from me and my hubby) to them!

Fantastic experience: The extended Sand Mountain Tour guided by the brilliant Darryl was an amazing experience. The breathtaking scenery and expansive vistas are only beaten by the superb friendly service offered by Gary (owner) and Darryl our driver and guide for the day. Absolutely accommodating and caring, there is ample time and stops for photos with some great laughs and real obstacles to be conquered with exhilarating climbs, drops offs and sweeping turns. The humvees are are a great and comfortable ride and you feel safe at all times with a four point harness that the team make sure you are well fitted and safe in the vehicle. Dress warmly for the start and end of the tour in the cooler months as the on road driving can be a bit chilly but once on the trail, any heavy coats can be discarded on a nice day with warm sun and clear skies. With the shifting sands and variable use of Sand Mountain, every tour will be different, we were blessed with a warm still day with blue skies and a few friendly locals to chat with and meet on the way. I highly recommend Red Rock Humvee Tours - We had an absolute great time.

Fantastic experience: My wife and I took the 4 hour Sand Mountain Extended Tour May 22nd. Darrel was our guide, he did an EXCELLENT JOB! We originally scheduled the tour for May 23rd however, we were running ahead of schedule on our vacation. I spoke to Gary who graciously agreed to change our tour date and time. Darrel took us everywhere we wanted to go, told interesting stories along the way and simply made us feel at ease the entire time! For me the Humvee Tour was the highlight of our 7 day vacation through Southern Utah. If you are in the area and are considering an off road adventure give Gary at Red Rock Humvee Tours a call!

Fantastic experience: Paul McCroskey had a great time with our Darrell, our driver on the Sunset Sand Mountain Tour. This was the 2nd Humvee tour we have taken on our trip. We really loved this one, it was a little bit slower pace with more actual rock crawling. Darrell was a wealth of information about the area and was a fantastic driver. I would highly recommend this trip.

Fantastic experience: We love Red Rock Humvee Tours! ❤️ We went on a tour with our family this past weekend, and had the best time! The guide / driver was excellent, and made the trip extra fun by climbing over steep hills and rocks. I also loved that we were able to take the whole family in one humvee (all 6 of us!). This is a must do if you're ever in the southern Utah area!

Fantastic experience: First time to this area and this was a perfect thing to do.

Fantastic experience: Our family had a great time visiting Southern Utah, but this was really the crowning moment. We spent several hours rock crawling, and dune riding through the area above Sand Hollow Reservoir. I was amazed how capable the Humvee was at negotiating everything we attempted. Our drivers were friendly and highly knowledgeable about the local area and the geology and were able to provide as much detail as we asked for. They also knew the trails very well, allowing for some really fun moments, if the screams from the back were any indication. The views from the top of the mountain were stunning and provided an amazing overlook of the whole area. I can't recommend this experience enough regardless of whether you are new to the area or long time residents.

Fantastic experience: The great experience started with my phone call with proprietor Gary to book a tour, and continued with a wonderful three+ hour tour of Sand Mountain with driver/guide Rob and a nice couple from Australia. We all wanted to have fun, not just putter down a dirt road. And Rob sure had me clenching my cheeks at times. These ex-military Humvees have a fantastic approach and departure angle with outstanding traction and torque, and just clamber right up rocks that look like walls to me. My photos don't capture any of the action -- you have to experience it.

I 100% recommend it. If you do go, ask for Robb. Dude is full of knowledge, funny, and a great experienced driver. You won’t be disappointed I guarantee that. Fantastic experience: I had a great time on the tour. The owner and our tour guide were professional. I went on the sand mountain tour. It was way more exciting than I thought it was going to be. We got a flat tire and it took a little while to get it fixed. Our tour guide took us to a few additional places to make it up to us. I plan on doing the waterfall tour next summer with the same company.

Negative experience: Terrible people Terrible business

Fantastic experience: Absolute Blast! Would do it again and intend to next time we are in the area! With out hesitation!!! My daughter, wife and I enjoyed every minute! Our guide Daniel was the best, not only knowledgeable but attentive to all the passengers on board. At one point our hummer decided to take a break. Which was a blessing, we watched a million dollar sunset over some of gods country. As we enjoyed the views and tranquility we see another hummer coming up the hill in the distance. Garry ( the owner) gets out and the first thing he says is “ I am sorry”. LOL! Seriously, sorry? This is freakin awesome and part of the adventure no need to be sorry for something out of anyone’s control. Don’t know if I am more impressed with how quick Garry arrived or what these machines ( hummers) can actually do. I wish Garry had taken his time, would have loved to have spent more time sitting up on them mountain top. When the owner said he’d make it right, and apologized again my wife and I with out hesitation refused. Like I said, we’d do it again and truly intend to next time we are visiting family in the area. Again, Thank You Daniel and Garry for providing such an amazing adventure! You guys are the best and I am grateful to have met you both. My family and I will definitely be seeing you guys soon!

Fantastic experience: Had the best time of our whole trip to southern Utah. Gary (I believe is his name) the owner was our very friendly and professional guide. He took us on a customized adventure that met the desires of everyone on our trip. Even had water to drink and snacks. My son and I were on this tour after recently losing my wife (his step mother). Two complete random, but fun loving ladies from Chatham, NY helped make my day in a huge way. They know who they are and in case they’re reading this review….. thanks for having a great time along the way with us!

Fantastic experience: While visiting the area for a week, my group went on 2 tours with Red Tock Humvee Tours. The 1st tour was the Babylon Tour and the 2nd was Sand Hollow Extended Tour. Robb was our tour guide for both trips. I can't say enough about what a wonderful guide Robb was! He was so much fun and made our tours even more adventurous! The Babylon Tour we saw a lot of amazing things, including dinosaur foot prints. Robb let us explore and was very informative on the history of the area. The Sand Hollow Tour was an amazing adventure made even better by Robb's expertise and experience of the area! I can't say enough about how much funl it was!! I highly recommend it if you want a fun adventure! I have been bragging on Robb, but the owner, Gary, was also wonderful to work with as well. Thanks to Robb and Gary for 2 wonderful days!! Great fun!

Fantastic experience: We did a tour and the guide was great and made sure we all had a good time. We did the Sand Mountain tour with 6 adults and 2 kids. We learned about the geology of the area and got some great photos. I would highly recommend doing a tour!

Fantastic experience: Our tour with Jeff "Jurrasic Jeff" was hands down the best tour our family has ever been on. We went on the humvee Toquerville Falls tour. He was so knowledgeable and fun! Our children ages 8 and 2 were so excited to experience this as well. The views are absolutely breathtaking. You will not regret this decision!

Fantastic experience: Hands down the best trip ever. They were very accommodating to our large group. We did the waterfall tour. The ride was incredible and the views were breathtaking. Going to the falls was an amazing experience. We had two hummers and I rode in one there and one back and both guides were outstanding. We even witnessed a rescue when a truck got stuck!! Highly reccomended. I have been on other tours and nothing compares. We went 5/19/23.

Fantastic experience: Wow, just WOW! Took the Sand Mountain Tour with Gary and Rob, and it was such a blast! Not only are they incredibly experienced drivers, but also awesome tour guides for the area, supplied us with food and drinks and great conversations, and they have great vehicles. The whole family loved it big times. The scenery is gorgeous. If you are in the area and want to have the perfect rock-crawling experience, Red Rock Humvee is the place to be. Thanks@MORR for the recommendation. :-) PS: Had a minor issue with one of the Humvees along the way. Considering the heavy beating these cars take, this really shouldn't be a surprise and can happen when going off road. Gary and Rob were super relaxed about it, and so were we. After all, this just made us enjoy the wonderful trip a little longer. Would give them 7/5 stars if I could.

Fantastic experience: What an awesome experience! I cannot believe that we can pay someone to take us through the rocks and sand and climbing experience in such a capable vehicle! Our tour guide was Robb and he was excellent! He knows the area well and provided a lot of extra input about the views and history. Gary was the owner that met us as we were leaving. He was super accommodating and very nice. The whole experience was great! We took the Sand Mountain Extended tour and include the Flintstones house. We were in the covered Humvee, so the temperature and rainy mist were no problem. I would not have felt comfortable trying many of the obstacles on my own that Robb was able to take us on. Highly recommend!

Fantastic experience: Our tour guide, Rob, was amazing. The only thing that limited where we could go was width. These Humvees seem to violate the laws of physics! For something really fun, take a trip down the bobsled path!

Fantastic experience: I trusted Garry and the Red Rock Humvee tours to find my perfect wedding destination in a red rock dessert. They didn’t disappoint and made it the best experience of my life. Fantastic experience: We took the tour to toquerville falls today and had a great experience. All of the drivers were friendly and seemed like they enjoyed their jobs. We have done the pink jeep tours in Sedona and this honestly blew it out of the water. If your in Southern Utah you should definitely give these guys a try

Fantastic experience: This was such an amazing experience! John was such a fun, friendly, and skillful guide. He also did not hesitate to take plenty of pictures of us, which I really appreciated. Negative experience: My experience was not good with this company. The cars are old, and one car got broken on the way to the trails. We were offered to jump in another car, however it wouldn't be safe because seats were too high and we would hit our heads against the metal frames of the car. Not sure this offer was a great idea. So, we were left in the desert to wait about an hr for another car to pick us up. Eventually we got a ride, and the driver done the best to entertain us. On the way back that car also got broken. Thanks God we made it safe! Be careful selecting the right provider.

Fantastic experience: We love the exploring the wonders and beauty of the outdoors. Red Rock Humvee Tours took us places that we would have never seen one our own. The area is beautiful and our tour guide John made it so much fun! This tour has been a highlight of our trip.

Fantastic experience: We booked a last minute tour to Toquerville Falls. I highly recommend it.Gary was very responsive and patient with our many questions. The tour itself was really cool. There smooth and bumpy parts. There were breathtaking views and the falls were so awesome. We had gone right after some rain so the falls were flowing beautifully. Robb was our tour driver and he was so awesome. He was genuine and went above and beyond. He made the trip all about us and made us feel like family. He was knowledgeable about the land. He knew how to manage the Humvee and gave us a great experience while also minding the fact we had kiddos on the Humvee. He took pictures of us during the falls and caught great Kodak moments. Thank you so much for accommodating our group and making such a memorable experience for us all.

Fantastic experience: These guys were great, they were very accommodating for our large group. We had four guides, and they were fun and enthusiastic. A group member or two in our party had some special needs and they were awesome to work with them. The driving was exhilarating and the scenery they showed to us was unparalleled. I highly recommend this agency for a tour!

Fantastic experience: We did the Babylon tour on our last evening in St. George. Our guide was phenomenal and so great with my three boys. We loved seeing the dinosaur tracks and petroglyphs, and getting the rich history of the area from our guide. It was the perfect ending to our week long adventure.
