Negative experience: Will never use them again trying to get help on the flight we booked the agent told us that she would leave us to our own to get our return travel confirmations so we went to airport on the departure day cost us 25 bag fee and we got home If the agent would listen to her customer and not berate them it might help I will not recommend them to any af our friends or to anyone else

Fantastic experience: I was overwhelmed researching all-inclusive resorts to take my kids to, so I decided to try using a travel agency. So I sat down with Mike at Travel Haus and I was so happy I did! He helped me find a wonderful resort (Iberostar Lindo) that was a great option for my kids (ages 11 and 14). Everything was explained and included so I didn't have to worry about anything! We will definitely go back to Travel Haus to book our next trip! Highly recommend!

Fantastic experience: We have used Travelhaus multiple times for vacations and have enjoyed everyone of them. They have always been very helpful and friendly. We even had an issue at one of the resorts (nothing to do with them) we called our agent and helped us out with it no questions asked! I am so glad we have had them the past few vacations, it just takes part of the stress out. I would recommend to use and we plan on continuing to use them!

Negative experience: This was one of the most stressful travel experiences. Our original agent left and didn’t find out until another person on our same trip informed me. I have re-read all the emails sent to us and never did one of the agents mention that our final payment didn’t include baggage fees which ended up being close to $400 extra. Our flight got cancelled and the only available fight with our airline was the next business day, we were all in a wedding and couldn’t really afford to wait so we asked Travel Haus what we should do and their initial response told us to pay another airline out of pocket ($1500/ticket extra) and then try to argue with our current airline for a refund…now I didn’t have an additional $1500 to shell out and hope that the other airline would refund us and we paid for travel insurance. Finally an agent contacted us and said they couldn’t find anything so we ended up waiting to get on the flight the next day but asked to extend our stay an additional night which they were able to accomplish. Then on our final day at the resort our concierge asked about our ground transfer and and we weren’t sure of the time so we contacted our travel agent to ask and his response was that we had the same number he did and that we should just call so after 45 min we found out he did not in fact extend our ground transfer to the following day so we had to continue to wait while the ground transfer team fixed the error. When I emailed Travel Haus about all these errors the response was here’s a voucher and that we should have just known baggage fees aren’t covered with the payment since we were flying Frontier and it wasn’t their fault about the ground transfer. Travel Haus made it pretty clear they just want your money and whatever happens after the final payment is on you. Keep in mind no one has called us this has all gone on via email and the apology we received was sorry you felt that way but that’s just how it is…needless to say I’m not impressed

Fantastic experience: Diana and Frank are amazing! We had talked about an Alaskan cruise for years. So thankful we booked thru TravelHaus. The trip was everything we dreamt of but getting home was a nightmare thanks to COVID and cancelled flights. Diana and Frank were just a phone call away to help with arrangments and to calm our fears. We will definitely use them for our next adventure

Negative experience: Didn't even get past an introduction before the man on the phone disregarded the help I needed. I asked a simple question specific to the area I would be traveling to & instead of a specific answer or the agent trying to inquire further about my needs, his response was arrogant & condescending. I specifically asked about South Asia, explaining I mostly needed help with the flight side of booking. His response, between what sounded like chewing while he had me on speaker phone was, "well... I mean... we can all book trips here...............(Long pause) So, I mean what do you need, because of course we can all book trips." What I DID NOT ask for OR NEED was a condescending type of answer. So what you can all book trips, that is NOT what I asked. I asked if anyone specialized/had sufficient knowledge in a specific region because I had already had several agents who did not & could not manage to help with what I was requesting. I can manage to do it myself & after this just might, but I want an agent who specializes in South Asia & surrounding areas so that I can feel confident that they have proper knowledge when I have questions along the way. So a simple yes we have someone that does have knowledge or no we don't I am sorry, would have sufficed. I know travel agents book trips, obviously. (Heavy eye roll) Maybe the agent who answered the phone needs a course in customer service so he doesn't lose a customer before he even starts. It was a big F-U to me as a customer & quickly made my mind up NOT TO USE THIS COMPANY!

Fantastic experience: Adam was amazing in helping plan our trip! We unfortunately got stuck in Mexico due to the hurricane and Adam stayed up late to help us rearrange our flight and make sure we could get home safe. Will definitely use him again to book our next vacation. He made everything so simple and easy for us.

Fantastic experience: Mark was phenomenal to work with. Planning a honeymoon during COVID was ‘fun.’ We had zero issues until a few weeks prior to departure. Our resort was closed due to Covid and their opening date just kept changing and changing. Mark was completely professional as much as I bugged him and always responsive and made sure that our back up options were known. When we decided to switch locations due to our resort not opening on time, Mark made it happen and we didn’t have to worry about anything. Then the night before we were supposed to leave and our Covid test results still hadn’t come back, Mark was accessible throughout the entire night; I’m talking 2-3 AM advising us on what to do for our 6 AM flight. Then when our results didn’t come back on time to catch our flight, despite the fact that there was nothing promising out there, Marc found us a flight to our destination with three days notice when we told him he*^ or high-water we are getting the heck out of here, (keep in mind there are so few flights these days during Covid). I can’t Even begin to tell you the security we had during such unprecedented times having someone with so much knowledge handle our travel for us!

Fantastic experience: We wanted to book a last minute trip to Mexico in October. We worked with Abbey Meyers who gave us several resort options. She was very knowledgeable about all the options and actually stayed at most of them to give us first hand details. She recommend Unico 20 87 in Riveria Maya and it was the best resort I have ever stayed at. She even found a package to include a free sunset sail on a sailboat which was one of the items I really wanted to do. She was able to get us more details and advice on another excursion that we booked which we thoroughly enjoyed. It was nice not having to do any of the leg work or planning for this trip as Abbey took care of it all. I would use her again for my next trips.

Fantastic experience: Abbey was such an amazing help for our recent travel to French Polynesia! We had used a travel agent once before and it was so much of a hassle we decided we were better off just making our own arrangements. That was until we decided to plan this trip. I spent hours researching things and just couldn’t seem to get it together so we decided to a travel agent again. We actually reached out to two places but the other was slow at responding and made me feel like I was doing all the work. Abbey was on things right away. I told her a little bit about us, what we typically like to do on vacation, and how we like to travel. From that Abbey created a perfect travel plan. We had the most amazing experience in the most beautiful place. We will be definitely be using Abbey for our yearly vacation.

We reached out to Abbey Meyer and to our relief she took the wheel from there! Abbey went above and beyond to accommodate our timeline and had everything booked in a matter of minutes. Negative experience: DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! We booked, what should have been a very simple, 4 day trip to Mexico for our one year anniversary and it was a disaster. The resort giving another couple a key to our room while we were out was only the beginning of our problems. They allowed them to stay in our presidential suite (that we even paid extra for being able to select online), while we were moved to a junior suite. When we returned looking for Travel Haus to assist us with getting our money back for the siginificant difference between the two rates, they did ABSOLUTELY NOTHING. In fact Mike (from Travel Haus) questioned my expectations, as if I was suspect for wanting it to be made right. That was in January and have yet to hear ANYTHING back despite multiple attempts. Travel Haus should look up the definition of “agent” because it is eveident they have no idea what it means. Travel Haus is only here to take your money. After they have that you are on your own.

Fantastic experience: We booked our honeymoon with Mike at Travel Haus. This was our first time traveling to Mexico and our first time at an all inclusive. He sent us to the El Dorado Royale Resort in Riveria Maya. We felt like ROYALTY from the beginning to end of our trip. Mike really took time to get to know us and make sure our honeymoon was catered to our tastes and preferences. Hope to be planning another trip through Travel Haus soon!!

Negative experience: Won a trip from this company at the bridal show in January. We got to work on trying to get the trip planned immediately because of the time restrictions in which it expired. Took about 2 weeks to get any details to start the process. Initially started with one person but then wouldn't get a response from them so we were passed off to someone else. Picked a time to take the trip to be told that was a black out date. Then we were given a list of other black out dates that encompassed so much time that we really only had 2 date options that would work for us to make use of the trip. After multiple attempts, we were finally able to plan our departure date of June 23rd. Despite signing paperwork/releases in February, the details of the trip were not finalized until June 7th. It literally took just short of 5 months to plan a trip that was only 4 days long. For being a prime opportunity to earn a customer for life as this was our first experience with a travel agent, we couldn't be more disappointed with the company. There is no reason we should have to remind the company what we won, go back/forth about what was included and what isn't. Plenty of people ask how we got our trip and I'll share my story but just the same, I will strongly recommend not doing business with Travelhaus.

Fantastic experience: I met Mike years ago and knew that he was my guy if I ever needed a travel agent. With my 40th birthday approaching, I reached out to him for assistance. He gave me plenty of suggestions and was patient as I took forever to make a decision. We ended up at the Excellence El Carmen all-inclusive resort. I'd never been to an all-inclusive resort so I wasn't sure what to expect. I was not disappointed!! Not only was all of our transportation pre-scheduled, we had an on-site rep who was there if we needed anything - including booking off-site excursions. It made me feel a lot safer than when I booked one myself on a previous trip. I would recommend both Mike & Excellence El Carmen for anyone looking for a travel agent or resort!

Fantastic experience: I was in charge of planning a trip for my friends and I over spring break back in March. Mind you, we were all only 18 and 19 years old. We really wanted a place in Florida and had been searching for months trying to find a place. We were running out of luck finding somewhere to stay because of our age and I ended up coming here for help. Ryan c. Barks from Travel Haus helped us so much and found us an amazing hotel! If was also cheap for us college students budgets! It was right on the beach and had an amazing view down in PCB. If I ever plan another trip I am definitely using them again and highly recommend Ryan!

Fantastic experience: Just got back from our honeymoon and it was everything we hoped for and more! Wife and I were having trouble getting a trip together ourselves and a friend recommended Travel Haus. Adam Hon was super friendly, helpful, and patient as we tried to find the perfect trip. He hooked us up with the Iberostar Grand in Riviera Maya. Every last detail was covered. Flights, transportation from airport, accommodations, honeymoon extras, you name it and Adam had it booked. Adam took all the stress out of planning the trip, and made sure there were zero uncertainties. Would highly recommend to anyone. We will plan another trip with Travel Haus for sure!

Fantastic experience: We just returned from a successful trip to London and to see our daughter who is studying abroad this semester in Canterbury England. This was our first time to England (and only our 2nd trip abroad), so we needed a lot of help in deciding where to stay that would accommodate an extra pull-out sofa for our daughter when she was available to stay with us, which tours to take, logistics and transportation needs with the tours and getting the hotel we wanted in Canterbury next to the university. Rachel was our agent and for as many times as I changed our itinerary (initially due to my daughter's school schedule but also due to the day trips to Edinburgh and to Paris we wanted to fit in), she was a trooper and stuck with me. I did do a lot of research on my own with the tours but Rachel always responded quickly to my emails (unless they were in junk mail, but a phone call quickly solved that problem). And, a big plus, she got us the airfare times we really wanted (departing early morning and arriving in London late night), and all for a very reasonable price. I know she worked her butt off for our trip to be successful and we really appreciate it.

Positive experience: I've contemplated leaving a review, but feel like this is an issue that needs to be brought to someone's attention.The only reason I'm giving a four-star is because I don't know if it's necessarily travel Haus fault with how things turned out or if there was anyway really around this problem, but all the tickets are purchased through Funjet and the 24 hour number to help you is not a 24 hour number even though someone answers nobody can actually help you until 7:30am to adjust tickets and that usually takes AT LEAST an hour! Mike was wonderful at the agency with contacting me quickly, but tell me what is the point of the 24-hour assistance number? I feel like most people try to get planes earlier than that so that they can get settled in and explore the resort a bit. We left my house at 3 in the morning for a flight that was supposed to be at 6:25am, but somehow missed bag check in by 4 minutes!!!! I even received a notification to leave my house and we had already been gone on our way to the airport for 30 minutes when it's only an hour drive there from home. I honestly don't know how we missed it! My paperwork was stating 20 minutes later from Travel Haus, but the plane could have gotten in early who knows?! I have never missed a flight and always haf plenty of time to spare. They would not make an exception and let us on soooo after two more great flights followed soon after we couldn't even get on those since we did it through a travel agency/funjet they consider them specialty tickets and would not allow us to adjust the tickets on our own without funjet approval leaving us to leave at 11am. The stress of the flight melted away as soon as we arrived to the resort! Overall stay at the resort was amazing and Tammy did a great job with picking out the resort for us! We stayed at the couple San Sushi in Jamaica beautiful and highly recommend! On our way home our first flight got in 30 minutes EARLY to our layover and we thought this is going to be so much better then when we flew in, but we were wrong and barely made it to our second flight to St Louis ( already half way boarded) if we had made it on time instead of 30 minutes early we would have missed the flight!!We are not people that take our time we pretty much Sprint and go straight to our flights! If we missed another flight then I would be very upset with Travel Haus!!!! This is the second time I've used travel haus and I see myself using them in the future, but not before looking at a few other places. I feel like they have two jobs one to make the travel easy for us and the most convenient as possible and to have the knowledge of resorts and fit the best to our wants. One out of two they did! So we'll see next year!

Fantastic experience: Mike and the team at Travel Haus have been great to work with from beginning to end. From searching for different resorts, listening to our interests in what we were looking for in our vacation, booking our trip, and advising us of travel tips the whole experience was great. We actually had to cancel our original trip the night before we were supposed to leave and Mike went above and beyond to call me back after hours and make sure we got everything taken care of. Then a few days later he was able to find an alternate flight so that we could still leave for our vacation. I would highly recommend partnering with Travel Haus for your travel needs!

Fantastic experience: I used Travel Haus of St. Louis to plan and book our Wedding (16 guests) and Honeymoon in Mexico. Travel Agent Rachel was great to work with and set us up with a fantastic trip! We could not be happier with their services and will definitely be using them for our future travels.

Positive experience: The service at travel Haus was exceptional. We had Rachel as our agent and were very satisfied and impressed. While she was not 100% knowledgeable about the tour we took (I.e. she stated we were staying in a castle but it was just on the grounds adjacent, transport to airport was not complimentary with our arrangements but she thought they were) Rachel showed supreme customer service and dedication by giving us a personal ride to and from the airport which more than made up for any confusion. Anyone who reads this please note we were beyond satisfied with our service but just wanted to provide constructive feedback to continue to grow and improve :)

Fantastic experience: This is our third vacation booking with Travel Haus and it's because of the service! Rachel has helped with countless things such as helping me file a claim for missing luggage, rescheduling excursions while in Mexico and changing resorts. Rachel, in particular, has been amazing through it all. Any time I call, anyone who answers the phone has great customer service. We booked all three vacations to Puerta Vallarta, Excellence Riviera Cancun and Luxury Bahia Principe Sian Ka'an Don Pablo. We booked out honeymoon and one-year anniversary as well. I will continue using Travel Haus until we run out of money! Haha!

Fantastic experience: My husband and I have been using Travel Haus for years and this past summer we decided to take our entire family on a Mexico vacation. There were 18 people - ranging in age of 8 months to 71!! Our travel and transportation were flawless and our resort fit all of our needs for the wide range of ages we had. Fantastic experience: Rachel at Travel Haus helps us arrange a group of 20 people on a wonderful trip to the five start resort of The Royal in Playa del Carmen MX. Rachel was outstanding and providing service above and beyond what was expected. In fact, she kept track of details and made sure we were all set to go on our trip of a lifetime. For example, one of our couples (who didn't book through Travel Haus and booked through Expedia) had expired passports that weren't checked until it was too late. Rache'ls team at Travel Haus made sure that everyone that booked through Rachel had no issues and had a wonderful trip. I highly recommend Rachel at Travel Haus!

Negative experience: Just walked in and we were not welcomed. No one was in the room. The front area was a mess with mail sitting in one chair and a fold up thing of pictures taking up another chair. My husband said hello and the woman was rude in responding with attitude like we were inturrupting her. We headed out to our car and as I am writing this review the family ahead of us left she came out and stared right at us and gave me a "look". Another family just tried to use the handicap button while carrying in their baby and that doesn't work. I'd rather do it myself than deal with that kind of person.

When we went to Rachel Madigan at Travel Haus, all we told her is what we did and did not want. Rachel pointed to El Dorado Royale, a place she has been and recommended. I can not tell you how amazing the resort was! I can't tell you how amazingly happy we are with Rachel's recommendation. She definitely knows how to pair you up with your likes and interests!!

Fantastic experience: My wife and I recently decided to take a trip to Brazil for Christmas. However, we were denied boarding to the international flight due to a visa issue. I called Travelhaus while at the airport and spoke with the owner personally! I explained my situation and asked if there was anything he could do since we were already packed. Within the hour he made arrangements to send us to Jamaica, where we spent seven days at a fantastic property he recommended. This was right at closing time and Mike stayed late to make sure we got to enjoy a vacation. We had a blast on the trip and cannot thank Travelhaus enough!! I challenge you to pick up the phone in a stressful situation like we were in,and find an agency as helpful and personable as Travelhaus!! My agency for life!!
