Fantastic experience: My husband and I used Altair travel to book our honeymoon to Hawaii. Our flights, hotel, and transportation to and from the airport were taken care of which made our travel super easy! We had an amazing trip that we will never forget!

Fantastic experience: We have used Haylye Lux twice now and will continue as long as she is an agent. This last time I planned a trip for my husband's 40th bday and it was rather close to spring break time. Haylye did an amazing job giving us options where we wouldn't have to deal with "spring breakers". We ultimately chose UNICO 20 87. We were truly obsessed with the resort. It was a bit smaller than many of the other resorts we have been to but still large enough to stay there for 4 nights with out needing to venture off the resort. The food and drink were INCREDIBLE., which I feel like is a bit harder to find with an all-inclusive resort. Haylye took care of us from first email to the time we set foot back in St. Louis. Can't say enough great things!

Fantastic experience: This was our first time traveling out of the country in years, so we opted to work with a travel agency and were referred to Altair. We could not have had a better experience working with Haylye Lux! She was very helpful with booking the trip…especially in troubleshooting some issues we had in booking multiple guests. Fantastic experience: We used Altair Travel & Cruises to plan a trip to Mexico to stay at the El Dorado - Maroma Beach Resort. Angie at Altair worked with us to understand exactly what we were looking for and picked the perfect resort for us. She was patient with all my questions and concerns, addressing all of them. Fantastic experience: Went to Cabo to see some whales. Had a great time! Altair booked us at Pueblo Bonito Blanco and it was awesome. Right on the beach and food was really good. Also did a hike at Fox Canyon to see a beautiful waterfall. I’ve worked with Hayley at Altair before and she always delivers!

Positive experience: Please be advised it is with great pleasure to share the wonderful expertise of my travel agent VP Haylye, and how she is so efficient in providing exactly what you need to help eliminate any disruptions. Barcelona 3 days my review is a number 10 without question, lovely hotel H10 casanova , very locally located. The Royal Caribbean Oasis of the Seas my review is a 7, after being on board 7 days. there were 3 employees that I rated 10, my room service personnel, and two waiters, head waiter Houitah that handled table 139, and his assistant Antonio, made every unpleasant situation better, I was so pleased with the Head Waiter I offered him to come and work for me, but he is loyal to Royal Caribbean. Main Dining dinners were not at they very best at every meal the meat was dry, uneatable, some desserts failures, the app I didn't approve of, and the worst thing of all the spa the day before departing the ship offered complimentary mini hot rock service, it was poorly set up, long waiting, no hot rocks, had been forgotten, but customers still wanted to wait, and my family of 6 was in that group, but to my amazement upon checking my final bill aboard the ship each of us was charged $ 20.00 dollars without our knowledge or approval. this is DECEPTION

Fantastic experience: My husband and I just returned from an Alaskan cruise that was put together by Jill Bertram, travel advisor at Altair Travel and Cruises. To say this trip ran smoothly is an understatement. From the air travel, transfers, hotel and the cruise itself, we could not be more pleased. All questions were anticipated in advance, no issues whatsoever! This was one of the most stress-free trips we've taken! A shout out to Sherry and Nicki as well! We've used Jill/Altair Travel for our last several trips. Would not go anywhere else. Highly recommended. Thanks Altair Travel for putting together the trip of a lifetime!

Fantastic experience: We had an amazing trip to Alaska with Jill and the group from Altair. This was our fifth cruise and the best one ever. It was so nice working with the travel agents. This took a good year and a half of planning and there's so many details and Jill was extremely thorough making sure that we signed up for everything when we needed to and downloaded all the proper documents from air travel to sea travel to excursions. The planning was perfect and there were zero hiccups on this trip . They took a lot of the stress of planning off our plate so we could go about our business When it came time for the trip, it was easy to prepare. We not only knew what documents were needed, but we were given detailed descriptions of what to pack, how to get transportation to and from the airport, etc.. We will for sure use them again for any trips where we need a travel agent in the future. We give them five stars through and through.

Fantastic experience: Haylye and the whole Altair crew created a MAGNIFICENT trip for us! It was our first time in Hawaii (Oahu and Kauai) and there is nothing I would change! We've always heard Kauai was beyond beautiful, and truly, I don't have the words; it was that breathtaking. We Stayed at the new 1 Resort on Kauai - wow! The hospitality was beyond, and the view from our oceanfront room was stunning every minute of the day. We also booked a great Zipline tour (my first zip and the two guides were great!) and saw a very cool Luau. We recommend a car without a top on both islands. Thank you Altair! A+++

Fantastic experience: Haylye planned a 10 day family trip for us to Costa Rica in December of 2023. It was unbelievable. We shared our vision with her and she planned a perfect trip full of adventure, excursions, relaxation and luxury. Every transfer was on time, ever location was gorgeous and every excursion was well worth it. Our favorite was the day we spent seeing the animals in the rainforest....sloths, howler monkeys, amazing birds, etc. The active volcano was a sight to see, too! We stayed at an unbelievable hotel on Waikiki beach for a few days and toured Honolulu and then jumped in board the Pride of America for a week. Fantastic experience: Working with Haylye at Altair was an absolute breeze! Not only did she assist with planning a trip to Punta Cana - given only a couple months notice, but all of her recommendations were top notch! Hayle gave expertise on areas of travel, specific resorts, and amenities (down to the type of alcohol served at resorts). She coordinated transportation to and from the resort and assisted in planning a round of golf outside of the resort for my husband and brother-in-law. Haylye's communication was prompt, resourceful, and her insight was honest. I will most definitely be using Haylye's services for all future trips! She is a rockstar!!!

Fantastic experience: Worked with Becky Pflasterer on planning our 20 year anniversary trip. We initially wanted to stay at a large all-inclusive resort in the Caribbean, but she talked us into a smaller resort in Jamaica (Couples Negril). We wanted to experience the culture on our trip and the resort she recommended was spot on. The staff there were fantastic and made our stay that much more enjoyable. The smaller resort allowed us to get around to places very easily and quickly and we never got lost. Plus, if we ever forgot something in our room it was a quick walk there. I highly recommend working with Becky at Altair Travel and Cruises as there are things that you just won't know that she can bring to your attention! Thank you Becky. We look forward to planning our next trip in the near future.

Fantastic experience: Once I found out how hard and expensive it is to plan a trip to Mackinac island I decide to give Altair Travel a call, I always hear about them and their trips from 550am radio. I really appreciate all the help my husband and I got from Melissa at Altair on finding a great bus trip to Mackinac Island at a reasonable price. It was wonderful not having to work hard at planning our trip we had been thinking about for a while.

Our private tours that were set up by Melissa exceeded our expectations. We used every form of transportation while we were there. Planes, boats, buses, trains, taxi and private cars. All of this flowed so smoothly. Melissa gave us a daily log of where we needed to be and what time we needed to be there. It was perfectly planned to allow us enough time to see and do what we wanted and plus have enough free time to leisurely travel around. We will always use Melissa and Altair Travel. Negative experience: Poor service We will never use this agency due to poor customer service which resulted in my husband and I losing our money to a planned trip due to the death of my husband brother days before our trip and the funeral being on the day we were scheduled to depart✈️. We were told we couldn’t make any changes to our trip or any refundsI think there should be some exceptions since death is out of our control. We had a bad experience from day 1 and will never use Altair services again and will not recommend to anyone.

Fantastic experience: We had a great experience with Altair. Our agent Haylye Lux did an outstanding job. I tried to plan a trip to Iceland on my own. It seemed impossible. I called Altair and Haylye set up an awesome trip for us. My teenage son even enjoyed it! Iceland was gorgeous in the winter. We saw the Northern Lights, saw awesome country, learned a ton about Icelandic culture and had great food and drink. Everything went off without a hitch. I highly recommend Haylye and Altair.

Negative experience: I never received a response to an inquiry I sent from their website. While they never responded to a travel request they didn't hesitate to sign me up for their newsletter. I am a Big 550 listener and am disappointed about this recommendation from McGraw Milhaven, he is usually spot on. I've made travel arrangements elsewhere.

Haylye made it so effortless for us. She took our Alaskan Cruise idea and made it into the trip of a lifetime. During initial planning, Haylye started with cruise-line options. She and I discussed over the phone, the differences between two cruise-lines, the prices, the dining, the reviews, and some of her personal experiences working with and using these lines! After making our decision she, booked for us, helped us get an amazing room, booked our speciality dining experience, book ALL of our excursions and sent us our travel information. Every few weeks up until the wedding week she would update us on what needed to be completed when. She was my Honeymoon GURU. I can't say enough about our Altair experience with her! Wedding week she mailed me a folder with all of our travel documents, which made traveling from florida to alaska so simple! She kept in touch with us every step of the way and I am beyond thankful for her!!!!! You will not be disappointed booking a trip with any of their staff! As stressful as travel can be, she made that the easiest part of our entire wedding. Thankful x10000000.

Fantastic experience: This Scotland/Ireland vacation was more beautiful than I expected! The hotel accommodations were gorgeous! The tour guides/drivers were extremely knowledgeable and entertaining. We appreciated their input for local places to visit for our free time. The only downside that we would share for future travelers, is the constant/daily moving from one town to the next, especially the second day of arrival. This does not accommodate delayed flights and/or lost luggage. Overall, these countries truly were breathtaking! Well worth checking out for the infamous "bucket list"!

Fantastic experience: Nora was awesome. Always available to answer questions. And for the most part the trip went well. On the downside things are never perfect going outside the US homeland. The pick-up wasn’t in the VIP area as requested and we didn’t use any of the rewards. It was just so much to do and it was our first island vacation. It was one of the best times we’ve had on a vacation so we will always remember this trip.

Fantastic experience: If you're contemplating using a travel agency, choose Altair Travel! My husband and I knew we wanted to go to Italy, but we were unsure how to make sure we were able to see everything we wanted in 2 weeks. I told Haylye that I wanted to spend time on the Amalfi Coast, have a quaint experience somewhere in the Tuscany/Chianti region, and enjoy some touristy things in Rome. Haylye was able to quickly turnaround an itinerary and set us up with specific cities, hotels, train tickets, tours, and private transportation to make sure we were able to see it all. She made our trip 100% headache-free so we could fully present for the experience. We did not have a single delay or hiccup, every private transfer was awaiting us ahead of time, and the overall logistics ran seamlessly! Our trip and the memories we made would not have been possible without her and the Altair Travel team!
